(Can we skip to the end of the day when the kids start with the homecoming stuff or lunch?)
Akira groaned when her name was mentioned. She wasn't even going to homecoming, so why should she help set up for it? It was ridiculous. Not to mention, trying to keep her brother from fighting the jock. The teachers were going to have a hard time with that one. Hopefully, they were smart enough not to pair the to up to help with anything. Things were certainly going to be interesting.
The punk grabbed her brother by the arm and dragged him to their next class. Luckily, the two had all the same classes together (lucky for them that is). They were already late, and the teacher was sure to say something about it. But it didn't bother her. It never really did. What could they do? Suspend them? Not like they haven't gone through that mess before.

Terry watched bored from where he leaned at the top of the bleachers. The gym was a quiet place. He had gotten out of his class early and was thinking of staying here till after lunch. His grades were great. Why not? The whole school day had been one boring class after another. He was tired of such perfectness. This homecoming would be a nice change. He rarely had done anything with his hands. He rarely received anythign made by others. It was all catered and tied with a bow in his world. He grinned and let his friendly mask drop into place. That was what he was known as wasn't it?
Jolene tapped her foot impatiently for the bell to ring. She wanted to get this homecoming meeting over with, but the whole day loomed ahead of her. Being all cool with the right flair was draining her. She jumped as someone dropped a pencil across the room. Why was she so jumpy today?

Limping Tabitha entered the gym. “Damn teacher never listens to me.” Slowly she made her way over to the bleachers, grumbling and cursing. It was a well known fact that she wasn’t suppose to do any running or jumping due to a bicycling injury when she was eight. Some gym teachers found it to be ok to not follow the doctor’s note she had. Sitting at the bottom she was totally unaware that anyone else was in the gym. She rubbed her left knee to ease the pain. It wasn’t working, but she didn’t want walk to the nurse’s office just yet. Clutching her right hand into a fist she slammed it into the seat of the bleacher. At least no one is here to see me lose my cool. This made her feel a little better.

Terry wished to high heaven lunch would come sooner rather than later. Life was getting boring. He had been translating the story McBeth into Greek in his mind when a door opened and closed. He slowly raised his head to watch Tabitha shuffle and limp across the floor towards the bleachers. Surprised anyone would be in the gym at this hour, he wondered why she wasn't in a classroom or outside with the PE class. He mentally shrugged it off and watched curiously. She seemed a bit peeved and that was confirmed when she sat and slammed her fist on the bleacher. That raised an eyebrow. What could be wrong? Most guys he knew worked it off or something. Females were such complex creatures, allowing a problem to permeate their lives instead of just mentally boxing it and setting it on a shelf. She probably needed to talk about it or throw a temper tantrum to feel better. Jolene was like that. She would go punch a bag to her hearts content, and anyone else close by, and then be alright... at least until she came to this school. He sighed and decided to do what he always did, help Tabitha out. "Hey Tabitha. Being stuck on the homecoming committe isn't that bad. What gives? You okay?"

Jae shuffled slowly to the gym, not entirely ready for the Homecoming Committee. The clashing personalities of the students were bad enough, but now teachers, too? He could already tell they'd probably bomb the homecoming. Hopefully, by some miracle, they’d manage to wing it.
Jae heard a loud slamming noise as he entered the gymnasium. It was Tabitha, a shy, white-haired girl he didn’t talk to much. She was clutching one knee with her left hand and making a fist with her right. He assumed she had just punched the bleachers, which was a bit surprising because of her personality and whatnot.
The jock walked towards the girl who seemed to be in pain, furrowing his eyebrows. “Hey, you okay?”

Alyssa slung her bag over her shoulder after the final bell heading to the place that the Homecoming Committee was going to meet. This wouldn't end well for her, she usually avoids people. Wondering who could have signed her up for this, she hummed a song from her favorite band on her way to the gym.
Alison was already there, in a corner of the gym, playing a game on her Nintendo DS. She also had her iPod in her ears listening to Simple Plan to tune out all of the backround noise. Upon seeing her long lost sister, she waved and patted the seat beside her. She removed her earbuds and turned her iPod off.
Alyssa looked around to make sure she wasnt being jeered at and made her way over to her sister, xsitting next to her. "This seems a bit strange dosent it? I mean hearing all the chattering it sounds like nobody really signed up for this."
"I know I didn't but whatever is going on better have a good reason and we better get free tickets to homecoming. Because I'm not doing this without something in return."

Lyssa left her last period class after a long day full of work and educational texts, heading to the gym--making her way there slowly. Dreading the fact that she had been put on the dance comity, what she really wanted to do was take a smoke break, ride home, and do her homework. I seriously hope I get something out of this, god knows what those other students seem to be planning beyond the schools knowing--if I do show up to this dance, I'm staying towards the back and leaning against the wall because no one is going to ask me. I mean, why would anyone want to have me as their date, she thought as she criticized herself.
When she finally got into the gym, after getting a bit lost before asking for directions, she went and sat near Alyssa and apparently someone Alyssa know, "Hey Alyssa, how was you day and who is this? If dare ask.."

"Hi Lyssa. This is my sister, Alison. Our dad took her away when I was 5. Who woulda thunk that I'd meet her here?" Alyssa smiles.
"Who would have THOUGHT" Alison corrected her sister. She always hated people who didn't speak properly.

Tabitha blinked and looked back and forth between the two males for a moment. Inward she groaned wishing she had kept her anger bottled until after all of this was over. Putting on a smile she attempted to relax a bit. “I don’t guess this homecoming thing is too bad if you have the time. I’ll be alright after a bit. The stupid PE teacher forced me to run the mile in class even though he knows that I’m not supposed to do any running. I guess I just pushed myself too much.” She lowered her eyes, knowing she probably sounded pathetic and like one of those whiny girls that are only after sympathy. She didn’t want their sympathy or help. What happened was her own fault because she wasn’t careful enough.

Once again, Stephen found himself facing the gym doors. Except this time they were partially open. There was no need for peeking, Stephen could already hear the chatter coming from within. Still, he hesitated a little, unsure of what exactly he would be doing. 'Oh well. Standing out here probably won't get me anywhere.', he thought, 'If it gets too boring I guess I could just leave the committee...' But the thought of what his dad and mom would say if the school called them should he ever skip out on the Homecoming planning made him reconsider. No doubt they'd force him to go back to the group anyway. They had always been advocates of letting their children have a well-rounded school experience, hence their leniency towards most of Stephen's antics at school. "Argh! Whatever!", he finally conceded, raising his hands up in exasperation.
Walking into the gym, Stephen took note of who was there and who he knew. There were a handful of people already present, but he was pretty sure there had been more names announced on the school intercom earlier that morning. The sophomore quietly made his way to the bleachers to join the others, choosing a spot in the middle levels. Putting on his headphones, he waited patiently for the arrival of more people and the start of the first meeting.

Terry grinned and knodded "Is that it then?" Standing and walking down to where Tabitha was, he nodded a greeting to Jae and saw Stephen enter the gym. "Hi Jae. And hey Stephen." Terry came and sat by Tabitha. "Don't take it too hard. Life sucks sometimes. What happened to your knee that you can't run on it? Terry glanced at Jae and Stephen, hoping they would join the conversation. He wasn't sure if he was talking to a reasonable girl with common sense or a preppy girl who forced you to stand on eggshells. So far so good though.

Fortunately for Stephen, he had not yet turned on his MP3 so he was able to catch Terry's greeting. "Sup!", he replied, raising his hand briefly in acknowledgment as he did so. It wasn't unheard of for the school's 'perfect' student to casually say hi to troublemakers like Stephen. It helped Terry's image a lot to be generally friendly. He and that Lemones kid were well known for being easily approachable by anyone. Because of this, most people, Stephen included, thought he was an ok guy even though he was considered one of the elites on campus.
Afterwards, he watched Terry head on over to sit beside a girl who Stephen just realized was Tabitha. The blue eyed boy wondered what they were talking about since he hadn't actually been paying attention to their conversation. His curiosity increased when he saw the older student suddenly look to him and another student who was known as the star player on the school's soccer team. What Stephen didn't know was that it was sort of an unspoken invitation to join in on Terry's and Tabitha's discussion. All he could do for now was stare at them with a puzzled expression.

"Hey Jae, Stephen... this girl needs some support. Come on over... Okay, Tabitha. Start at the beginning okay. I'm curious how a gutzy girl like yourself is being so responsible yet letting teachers walk all over you. Let's hear the background on your injury. Then maybe we can come up with a plan to bypass those PE teachers more easily. 'K?"

"Well, it's nice to meet you here, Alison," Lyssa spoke softly, then turning her attention back to her older sister, Alyssa, "It's great that you have been reunited with you family--it seems that has definitely made you a lot happier. Hey you know that Joyeuse kid, right? Well, don't be too alarmed she's going to probably have a very long stay at my home. I'll tell you why, when we get back to my place--you can bring your sister if you like."

After the final bell rang, Klaus sighed a bit. He leaned against the outside gym door smoking once again. Tossing it to the groung, he steps on it and opens the door. Moving inside he walked to the end of the bleachers and sits alone. He wasn't in the mood, if someone wanted to try and sit with him, he would be angry.
Haru easily moved through the hall. Barley anyone wanted to touch him. They all tended to avoid him and move away. He smiles and hums a bit to himself. He was in no hurry, there was going to be action happening either way.
Knight took a deep breath, he walks into the gym. Looking over at the other teachers chairs, he slowly walked over and say on the end. He looked over the students who had already begun to arrive. Once more he wondered why he was here.

"You must be Lyssa. You're the only face here I don't recognize. I heard your name on the announcement." Alison smiled. "Alyssa also says you have a nice place. I'd love to see inside. I pass it all teh time while walking my puppy."
"I don't know her, but i have heard the name. What's she like? She's not like anyone else is she?" Alyssa answered her friend, the smile slightly vanishing from her face.

Jae turned to look at Terry and gave him a nod as a greeting. "Yehp~What Terry said. It'll pass time while we're waiting. For the others."
The jock scanned the room. "...speaking of others...looks like a teacher has arrived." Jae sighed. He didn't really want to do this homecoming thing. If he was lucky, maybe he'd be able to get out of it somehow.

"Yes, I am--the one and the only, the only reason you don't recognize me is because this is my first full day here. I'm kind of wondering why my name ended up on that list--it's somewhat bothersome that it did it in the first place. I surely wouldn't mind showing you the inside of my home, this afternoon--if you're available," Lyssa responded to Alison, then turning her attention back to Alyssa, "Well, she's rather sweet, a bit shy--I guess and she's definitely unique, but the offer still stands for you--about you moving in with me if you're unhappy with your home life."

Waking up in a huge bed, Joyeuse was a bit confused, breathing quickly and shallowly as she tried to realize how she had come to be there. Then it all came flooding back to her, and she visibly loosened. Unfortunately, she did feel quite hot, so she threw off the comforter for some cooler air, sighing as it made contact with her sweaty skin. She rubbed her arms and torso gently as she thought about what to do, trying to remove the ache. Why was she aching? Jeez! Nothing made sense that day!
Twisting, she stood, tottering unstably before regaining her balance. Her rash was still visible on her back and arms from what she could see in the mirror, but it didn't itch at the moment, so that was a good thing. The too-big t-shirt from before still adorned her tiny frame, but it was all she had. She would not ask Lyssa for clothing. She was already doing so much for her that it wouldn't have been right. Coughing, she opened the door, not sure what to expect. The hallway was vast though, and apparently air conditioned, causing her to shiver violently as she drifted down the corridor.
Several pieces of artwork caught her appraising eyes, most of which she dismissed. A select few made it to her list though, and she found herself sitting on the floor for a long time, the artwork laid in front of her. Some of them had been hard for her to grab, but she had managed to do it. A rumble in her tummy alerted her to the need for food, so she rose and made her way to where the kitchen was, presumably at least.
Her journeying eventually landed her in the kitchen, and she dug around for a few moments before she found some peanut butter. Then she made her way back out to the rest of the house, peanut butter open and her hand inside as it scooped peanut butter out. She had looked for a spoon or something, but she hadn't been able to find one, though she hadn't really looked all that hard. It just didn't seem important. The top had also been left in the kitchen, sitting on the countertop next to a bit of peanut butter that had left the container.
Wandering, she really didn't know what to do, her body flashing between hot and cold repeatedly, as well as simply aching. As far as she knew though, allergies could cause that, so it wasn't a big deal. Really just wanting to explore the huge building, Joy continued walking aimlessly, enjoying how everything looked, felt, smelled, and sounded. It was all wonderful!

“I don’t really need any help. My knee should be fine after a little while.” Tabitha laughed slightly. “As for why I not suppose to run and stuff is because when I was eight I had a bicycling accident that screwed it up.” Talking about this was something she was use to and usually made her think back to the last time she reinjured her knee. That time she ended up going to see an orthopedic surgeon. The surgeon was a very nice man, but he had warned her that he didn’t want to see her in his office again because more than likely if she had to see him again he’d have to operate. Since then she has tried to be more careful then usually. “What is there I can really do? My PE teacher is the head of the department and I have mentioned something to the vice principal before about this and he didn’t believe me.”
