Theia sighed, he still didn't seem to get her point. None of that had anything to do with her sister...anymore then him bleeding to death would. She shook her head, still looking at him as you would a child throwing a temper tantrum. To her it wasn't much of a difference, it was just as illogical. She started to say so when roland spoke and she bit her lip. Jiao was still her responsibility... he had no idea what she went through to get him in the privacy dorm. Everyone else wanted him the vampire dorm...
"That still has nothing to do with my sister... but still I am powerful so perhaps you'd like to condemn me with the same cliche too." Theia said quietly, a musing tone in her voice. He wouldn't be the first to condemn her... a person with more psychic power then a vampire was not to be trusted in most people's eyes. She shook her head, only reacting to the blood. She tensed, having a certain reaction to the blood of both mixing in the air. She showed only the slightest tension of muscles but with a sigh forced herself to move. She would have pushed Jiao away but he'd already stopped. Her hand reached out anyway, however, and gripped his shoulder before he could walk away.
"You are not to harm the other students, any problem is for me and the other dorm leaders to handle. Draw blood unnecessarily again and there will be consequences...This is a school found for peace, not your own private war." She warned firmly. Sometimes she wondered if she'd made a mistake... She did let him go afterwards, however, and turned to Keri. She would inspect the wound on his chest, frowning to herself as she did so... What a day.
"Thank you... but I can handle my own battles" She said quietly to Keri as she gave him a smile. It was a little forced but she couldn't show weakness right now. She focused on him, half expecting him to do something stupid. this was only the first day... maybe the nay sayers were right and she was too hopeful...

This man, had poked him. With something silver or blessed. Kerian wasn't sure, but it had hurt more than it should have. He hissed, lips drawing back and fangs exposed. His guardian's reputation be damned. This idiot had drawn first blood. "Power only corrupts the weak minded. Most vampires are pretty weak minded, and I've already said that some vampires are cruel, but so are some humans. Humans treat each other like shit all the time, but no one gets pissed at them about it. God forbid if a vampire even looks at a human though." There was a distinct growl in Kerian's voice as he spoke, violet eyes glowing slightly with anger.
How dare this half creature, neither human nor vampire, draw his blood. This creature who had no true place on either side. "Hitler was born evil, power only brings evil to surface faster, only those that are evil can be corrupted by power in the first place. You may consider yourself a human, or a fucking tree for all I care, but know this. You are neither human nor vampire. You have no true place among either. You are an outcast among two races." Now this person was walking away from him. He had stabbed Kerian, practically ignored his words and now he walked away from him. Honestly this fellow should have known better than to turn his back on Kerian, especially after making him angry.
The vampire pulled his electric guitar from his back and held it by it's neck. It was such a shame to waste such a beautiful instrument on such an idiotic person who understood nothing. Never mind what Albert would say to him if he found out, especially if this got Kerian kicked out. Lighting fast, well probably faster than that, Kerian had moved past Theia and closed the gap between him and the retreating Jiao. Before the blink of an eye, he had raised that quitar over his head and brought it down on Jiao's hat and skull, with a loud noise signaling the untimely demise of such a lovely guitar. "That's what you get, for drawing first blood. Do it again and I'll kill your ignorant ass." Kerian expected one of two things to happen, the half vampire would fall unconscious or he would turn and fight back. Though as hard as Kerian had hit him, it was most likely he would fall unconscious. The poke in Kerian's chest already healed and he turned to give Theia a sheepish grin. "I wasn't fighting your battles, his energy was irritating me, besides, a racist like that isn't against just you, he's against all of us. So technically it's my battle too and everyone elses."
Roland had been surprised when the vampire approached them, and he was surprised again at the actions he just witnessed. He blinked, just watching Kerian warily. Vampires were such violent creatures it seemed, besides, they made him nervous anyway. He glanced at Theia but mostly he nervously watched Kerian.

"ENOUGH!" Theia shouted, her eyes glowing a bright blue that encompassed the entire eye. Both men would be lifted telekinetically and separated before the contact of the guitar could do much damage to Jiao if it even hit. She held them about a foot above the ground, unable to move. She ignored the cut that opened up on her own arm in reaction to the power as she nearly growled with irritation. She looked between them a moment, a frown on her face.
"There are no outcasts here, this is a school where all are welcome, and fighting WILL NOT be tolerated. You will both be confined to your dorms for the day and your guardians written. No more excuses... This will be your first and only warning." She hissed, unable to keep from enforcing school rules now. She would hold Keri until Chandra arrived to take him before she'd take Jiao into his dorm with her. She would toss him on the bed and lock the door behind her. She would stay until she was sure he was unhurt at least. She didn't like Jiao one bit but he was still her responsibility. She still ignored the cut on her arm as if it was nothing. She half expected she'd have to use her powers again and pay the consequences anyway...
***
Chandra gave an apologetic smile to Heiro and then disappeared, using her vampire powers to run. She had heard her sister call and smelled her blood, so that was all that mattered. When she arrived she quickly gathered what had caused the spill, Theia's own powers. She frowned but said nothing, simply walking to Keri. She would grab him by the collar when Theia dropped him for her and begin to drag him to his dorm room.
"tsk, can't even make nice for the first day..." She muttered and gave one more look back to Theia. There was a momentary look of regret in her gaze but it passed to her emotionless mask fairly quickly. This was the main reason she had resisted Theia's idea for the school, she had known it would lead to her sister's suffering. Theia wasn't ready no matter what she thought... She sighed, glancing towards Keri and giving him a glare that would freeze the sun in it's tracks.
(( >.< they couldn't' wait until the dorm leaders are out of sight? >.> ))
***
Ziva noted the male roll his eyes but said nothing. She wasn't sure why he had done so and accordingly couldn't address it. She wondered if it was her meek behavior... It wouldn't be the first time. It was generally unappreciated among young therians but she couldn't help it. Sometimes, if you got slapped for speaking up often enough, eventually you often forget how. Such was true in her case... As the two spoke to her, however, she was forced to speak.
"oh...I..I read mainly. Occasionally i write....coloring sounds fun though Talia" She said quietly as she gazed at the forest. She had never liked hunting despite her being infected making her have to hunt. She would go along with the two, however, even as she heard a voice in the distance. Someone was angry...

Kerian blinked, frowning deeply and eyes narrowing a bit. "..You can't honestly say he doesn't deserve to be wailed on." The vampire pouted a bit, holding his guitar rather loosely now. "...He started it.." Kerian paled just slightly when she mentioned writing to their guardians. Great. The last thing he wanted was Albert calling him up and scolding him. That man never yelled but he was good at making Keri feel guilty for things like this. Once he was released from Theia's power, he slung his guitar across his back, only moments before Chandra grabbed him by the collar. "But! He's a racist, and he stabbed me first. He deserves to get whacked on the head, you should hear how he was talking about us." Kerian didn't struggle though, no point in making things worse for himself, so he went willingly with Chandra. That glare she gave him though, made him shiver. Still he smiled pleasantly at her. "...Well, my driver is waiting at the car with my bags..so If you'll just tell me where my dorm is I can get my bags and head up there."
Roland just, stood there and blinked. He waited until the others were a little ways away before he turned and started back towards the main building. Not really sure where else to go, or what else to do. Perhaps he could find someone to show him to his dorm. After all Theia was busy with other things.

Chandra looked towards Keri like he was a particularly annoying bug when he spoke. All she cared about was their behavior had caused Theia to get hurt so his smile meant nothing to her. If it weren't for Theia she'd be doing far more to both men then dragging one off to the dorm. A dangerous glint briefly flashed in her gaze as he made excuses and she didn't say a word to him and simply continued to drag him. She did speak to the psychic.
"Yo... I pass by your dorm on the way to mine. Follow me..." She said simply to him. She would point it out when they were close enough, but otherwise not speak to either of them. She would send a text via her phone to someone to get Keri's bags but that was her only acknowledgement of his words. She barely even paused next to the psychic dorm to point it out to Roland but she would do so. Once she arrived at the vampire dorm only then would she speak and only when she had opened Keri's door and entered.
"I am the head of the vampire dorm...and I'll have no problem doing far worse then sanction you if you cause my sister pain again... I heard every word through her ears and I don't give a damn about that bigot but I do care about her. Do I make myself perfectly clear?" She would say icily as she pinned him against his own room's wall. She was furious...irritated beyond words but still cold as ice.

Roland was a bit relieved when the girl led him to his dorm, he was quiet the whole way. She seemed rather furious and he certainly didn't want to be on the receiving end of that fury. So he placidly followed her until she pointed out his dorm. Then he headed off in there to get settled in.
Kerian sighed softly. He knew this morning when he had woken up today would be one of those days. It was already turning out to be like that, though he really hadn't expected to get into so much trouble on the first day. He was a little relieved when they reached his dorm, that relief disappearing when she pinned him to the wall. Violet eyes blinked lightly and he didn't quite understand. "...But I didn't hurt your sister..." He had smelled the blood, but hadn't been sure why or what had caused it. He knew he hadn't laid a finger, fang or whatever it was he used to pull energy from humans, on her at all. "I didn't do anything wrong. From where I'm standing I basically acted in self defense. He stabbed me, I reacted by trying to whack him on the head. I didn't do anything wrong, and I didn't do a damn thing to hurt your sister." Kerian didn't like being accused of things he didn't do, though he couldn't help but wonder how long it would be before Albert knew about this incident.

((Staria: It's alright, it just means he doesn't get his beloved solitude is all, lol.
Angelo: You are welcome, and it is quite interesting ^^ I'd love to hear more of his limits and abilities.
Heiro had sensed Chandra long before she approached him, his tense nature and the hunting Weres keeping his attention on his surroundings. He gave her a glance as she fell into step with him, and slowed a little, but did not stop. He scoffed lightly at her jest, and gave a wry smile, but it fell at her next words. Of course she was right, and even though he was barely within the dark forest he was at risk of being attacked. He could handle his own well enough, but he didn't want to have it come down to harming a student.
Letting out a small sigh, he stopped and looked up at the night sky. "Hai, I should not. Then again, I seem to have penchant for being where I am not supposed to be." His voice held a tired tone, giving his nearly cryptic words an almost bitter sound. He turned to face the young vampire when a strange, concerned look crossed her face. Before he could question her, she gave him a slight smile and ran off.
Heiro frowned, but let her go, instead turning and starting back towards his "classroom". However, he soon found himself running after her, arriving just in time to see her and Theia each dragging off a young man. Frowning again, he walked over to where the scene had taken place and looked to the small pool of blood the earth was soaking up, the smell of it filling his nose. Another Dhampir? He glanced up to try and catch a fleeting image of the boys, but they were already beyond the main building.
Pushing the thought aside, he did his best to memorize the scent as he scanned the other nearby students for any sign of aggression brought on by the sights and smells of the small brawl that took place, ready to subdue any quarrels if need be.
Ren waved as the bubbly therian ran off, then turned back to Val. He tried not to let his discomfort show, giving her another smile to cover the uneasiness. It would take him a long time to get used to being around so many Therians and Vampires.
"So, to the dorms?" He asked, hoping there would be no more distractions. He was feeling more and more on edge, the air was so tense, like a fight could break out at any....
He sighed, the sounds of raised voices echoing across the courtyard. He turned his eyes to the direction of the voices, trying to at least catch what was being said. As Val lead him to the building he assumed was their dorm, he caught sight of the fight as it escalated. As one boy raised what looked like a guitar to strike the other, they were thrown apart and held above the ground. He could feel his eyes widen slightly, there had to be a psychic behind the feat and from what he could tell, it was the young woman who was part of the hollering match.
In another few moments, it was over and the circle of students dispersed, leaving a tall man to stand where the scuffle had taken place. Shaking his head, Ren turned back to Val and offered a sight smile. "This is going to be rough, isn't it?" He asked, though the question was mostly rhetoric. He knew it was going to be, there was no such thing as a peaceful existence when you are part of the realm of the supernatural.

Purposely, he ignored Theia's comment her power, focusing more on the vampire than anything. "We are all masters of our own fate," Jiao replied, shaking his head. "That's like saying that children could be evil. No child is evil. Children only become evil when tainted by the world, an aspect of which is power." The outcast comment made him bite the inside of his cheek, but he didn't respond, turning to walk away again. He looked down at his injury with a frown, however. He would need a stitch or two to keep it shut, a fact over which he sighed.
The next thing Jiao knew, however, he had a guitar smashed over his head. Of course he swooned from the blow. He saw freaking stars! It was amazing he could even remain standing after being hit like that. Freaking vampiric strength. Before he could recover, however, he was yanked into the air, an action that did not improve his condition. Still, he managed to blink away most of the stars to turn and look at Theia with surprise. The cut across her arm was not left unnoticed by the dhampir, who looked in confusion. A piece of shrapnel from the guitar? he thought. No, none of the pieces are even close enough. Strange.
Of course, by that time, Theia had already sent the other boy off, dropping Jiao like a stone. He stood up and grumbled something before he was thrown into his dorm, the door locking behind him. As he stood up and moved to sit in front of the door, however, he could tell that Theia hadn't left immediately. The conviction in his heart urged him to ask, "Why is it that you care so much for your sister? I've killed quite a few vampires, and no one was sad to see them go. Of course, they were horrible criminals who tortured hundreds of innocent people, but still. Maybe I'm finally receiving guidance from an ancestor who cares about me, but I have a weight on my heart that demands understanding."
~~~
"Coloring's swell, or so Tsula tells me," Waya replied, smiling gleefully at Talia. "What do you write, Ziva? Poetry or prose? Fiction or nonfiction? Songs? saying you write is like saying I paint. It doesn't really answer the question, now does it?" As he continued, however, he could hear the slightest sounds of a conflict from the school, his ears twitching subconsciously. It was interesting, though they were too far away to determine anything other than the fact that it was a conflict, with lots of shouting.
"Personally, I like to wrestle and hunt. Hiking is fun too. As long as it's in the great outdoors, I'm fairly happy. Though not farming. I hate farming. It's way too slow," he said, suddenly stopping before breathing in the scents in the air. The smell of meat was faint, but it was there. Eagerly, he took up the lead again, bounding ahead from place to place. About three minutes later, he stopped again in front of a small hole in a rock wall, which led to a larger room on the inside, smiling. "Here we are! Just head into the den there and grab what you want."
~~~
Weakly, Tsula took the teacher's hand, allowing herself to be hauled to her feet. Her nausea flared up then, indicating that it might not have been a grand idea to stand so suddenly. Of course, then she let herself be half dragged to the water fountain, where she took a long drink. The cool water helped to settle her stomach, diluting the sugar as it went through her system. Waya was right of course. She shouldn't eat sugar at all, but she couldn't help it. She loved the taste of it. Candy was her favorite food. It was like a cosmic injustice. Moaning softly, she turned herself to sit next to the water fountain, her hands placed over her tummy as it protested heatedly. Maybe a doctor or something could explain the phenomenon to her better, or a nurse. Did the school even have one?
~~~
Abigail stuck her foot out of the limousine uncertainly, wary of a sudden lift in the ground. Her white cane helped identify the curb, and she stepped over it confidently as she waited for her sister. The energy of the people in the school radiated out like heat, though that didn't mean she could see where everyone was. In fact, the only way she could tell where people were was when she was withing ten yards of them. Other than that, she could only get a vague impression of them. "Doesn't just seem wonderful, Elysia?" she asked her sister, turning to her familiar presence so that she could read her lips. Of course, she could have used telepathy, but sometimes it was better to just let everyone know. She didn't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable.
((Sorry, I have to head out, so I'll reply when I get home. :D))
Ziva nodded slightly as Waya spoke, enjoying the outdoors herself but then again most therians did. She was a little embarrassed to say what she wrote, however, so hesitated. She blushed a little, reaching up to braid a piece of her snow white hair as she often did when she was nervous. It was just so unlike what most people thought Therians should be.
”Short stories….and…poetry mainly. “ She said quietly as she followed. She glanced towards the small hollow but said nothing about it as they arrived. She could feel her instincts stir but she pushed them back, always disliking them. They just made her uncomfortable because they seemed so out of her control…
***
Theia had been gathering her emotions when she felt Heiro nearby. She really didn’t feel like explaining things right now so unlocked the door before she ducted into the dorm even as Jiao spoke. She stopped for a moment, having not expected to see him right there. Theia locked the door without a word, however before she crossed to sit in a chair. How could she ever explain such a thing…?
”Because she is my sister and has earned it…She has done nothing but the right thing and only been punished for it. She has the most beautiful heart but she always has to hide it beneath a cold mask.” Theia sighed softly, her voice implying ‘because of people like you’ without her saying it. She turned to glance at her arm, always a slow healer when it came to her ultimately self-inflicted wounds. She began to bandage it, not looking at Jiao for a moment. None of her explanations felt like enough no matter how true they were…
”She is what she is …for me. She died for me and lives for me now, no matter how hard h-..it is made. I’m not sure if anyone who wasn’t there can understand” She said quietly, her voice becoming soft briefly. She’d almost said ‘he made it’ but she stopped herself. There were still memories Chandra hid from her rather than let the pain touch her and she could do nothing to make it go away. All Theia really wanted was to give her sister some measure of peace but sometimes she thought all she did was make peace that much more difficult.
***
Chandra’s eyes narrowed as he spoke, that same glint flickering in her violet gaze. She wanted nothing more than to smack him for his ignorance… not caring why he’d done it. All that mattered was he had. She set her jaw slightly, resisting the urge to harm him though more for her sister’s sake than anything. If she hurt someone Theia would probably be the one people would blame…. She was supposed to keep Chandra ‘human’ in most people’s view.
”He was walking away…. It’s not self-defense to attack someone from behind. Instead of letting the school and Theia handle it you made it necessary for her to break you idiots up, causing her injury for your pride. Her own aura hurts her when she uses certain powers….” She hissed as she tried to calm herself. She hated explaining a weakness…especially to a hot head like him but Theia wanted her to rather than leaving another person in danger for not knowing. Sometimes she wished Theia would care a little less about others and a little more about herself…
***
Val nodded as he spoke of the dorms and started to lead him there. She could sense a fight coming and despite enjoying a good row didn’t want to be involved quite yet. She promised to be on her best behavior for at least the first month and Val always kept her promises. Still, as she was leading the other hunter spoke and she couldn’t help but smirk a little.
”Just a little bit, but that’s half the fun” Val remarked casually enough, though she teasingly made her voice suggestive enough she could be talking about anything. No one ever expected such flirty behavior considering her stern family so of course Val had to do exactly that every now and then. Sometimes living beneath the weight of her family was almost more then she could bear so she fought it in little ways.
Still, part of her mind was on the school and honestly unsurprised. It was an obscured premise considering what the races had done to eachother in the past but ground breaking if it worked. It would be nice not to have to fight, for it to be a choice and her to be free but she couldn’t help a little pessimism. It just seemed so…naïve.
***
Elysia was prepared to help her sister but as usual Abigail managed on her own. She smiled to herself as she stepped out herself, her black as midnight eyes roaming over the campus. She expected this to be great fun and honestly believed in the premise. Her parents and aunt and uncle could all get along so why couldn’t everybody else stop taking life so seriously and do so?
She was distracted by this, however, as she felt her sister turn towards her more then saw. Normally she lacked any psychic perception but when it came to her sister there was some exceptions. She watched her lips closely before she nodded. It did seem to be a wonderful campus and such pretty trees everywhere! She did have some difficulty speaking, due to her lack of hearing, however so she did stick her tongue out at her sister and say telepathically that she wished Gail would talk ‘normally’. Their normal between eachother of course being telepathy…
Talia followed Waya to the cave, peering in when he invited her in. She'd never had a real den, her parents had freaked out when it turned out she'd gotten infected by the tiny cut the other ocelot had given her. It also meant that she'd never really gone hunting, either. They'd locked her in the cellar when she shifted. "Really? Anything?" she asked, the scent of the meat bringing her ocelot closer to the surface. It hadn't fully woken up yet, at least, though her eyes stopped flickering and held to ocelot brown. She didn't wait for an answer, though, darting in and stripping so that the shift wouldn't ruin her clothes. She'd learned that hungry ocelots didn't like being stuck in clothing.
---
Dana carefully helped the girl, noting the greenish tint her face took on when she stood. "You said something about a lollipop?" she asked, kneeling next to her as she sat by the water fountain. Was there something in candy that she was allergic to? Or did she just metabolize it far too quickly? "Do you have any allergies? We can see if getting something for that would help." She kept a drawer in her classroom stocked with common medicines, not that half of the students would benefit much from them. The nurse was a better bet, honestly.
((New to roleplay, got caught up, so excited to join in. It is getting so good.))
Artemis ride to her new school "Rising Dove Acadamy" was pretty long. She was a bit tired, but a little lively from the trip, and so here she was on this lovely day standing near the gate, and waving to the driver that had dropped her off. Artemis went past the gate when it was opened for her after she told them she had arrived. She walked in, and was surprised to see a beautiful courtyard with flowers, and a huge water fountain that she had to step on her tiptoes to grab a drink of water. She noticed Dana and Tsula, and bowed to them being as polite as she could. "Were having a nice day aren't we?" She smacked herself when she looked closely and found that one of the women didn't look too good. She didn't mean to be staring, but she hoped the woman was alright. She saw the other one kneeling beside the woman who wasn't feeling well. She felt thirsty again, and stepped away a bit, while she took another drink of water. She let the water soothe her dry thoat and smiled at them both.
