chuckles to himself "Ha whatever do you mean?" he asked Naida coyly grinning from ear to ear looking forward and playfully waving to Mrs. Merril "urgh this is boring..I'm burning out anyone with me?" he looked back to the rest of the group who had seated themselves around him

Mindy followed the others in, keeping the sun to herself forcing the others in shadows. She didn't mind. It was kinda nice to be selfish for once and to not be in trouble for her. Happily she went and found a seat. Looking around, she sighed in bliss at all the faces she was going to get to see. Something was tickling the back of her mind. She didn't see any cause for alarm though and pushed it away.

Gavin watched the group like a hawk.. he knew of Katsu and his reputation so seeing his too trusting twin with him made him less than happy. He was virtualy aglow with irritation.


Midori snapped her head up, her brother was here and angry ... she could feel it. Dang she thought last thing I need is him on a warpath. She retreated to her inner thoughts of how he was going to chew her out once they were alone again.. she didnt understand his hate for everything. She also noticed Katsu looking utterly bored it seemed to be a common trait with neko folk. She sighed and looked back to the stage hoping the ceremony would wrap up so they could get back outside.

The orientation ended after ten slow, grueling minutes of lecture.

With a flick of his blue tail, Cyan grinned up at Katsuo. "Long, as always. And you were bored . . . as always." The merman yawned and stretched his arms over his head. One thing was right - he would rather be somewhere else. Preferably a pool, or something.

"I'm up for a swim," he said with a grin. "Uhm . . . excuse me, miss?" What was her name? Minnow? Miori? Midori? "Would you mind lending me a bit of water once more? I wouldn't mind being able to move myself to the other end of the school instead of having a guy carry me there."

"It won't be too long" Naida said to the Neko in front of her, who had been ready to skip right away. She went ahead and watched the performance the staff put on for them up front. Like she assumed it did not take very long. Cyan mentioned swimming right after. But it was then Naida remembered she still had not settled into her room. She would need to do so.

"I need to go to my room for now. I'll come out after." She promised everyone. Smiling a bit and picking up her bag before heading to find her dorm. She really could not swim durning the day any how. That was when the sun was out after all. At night though, she enjoyed moon bathing. And tried to do so every night or so.

Midori grinned ear to ear as the merman minced her name... *giggle* I have never been called a minnow before. And I would be glad to assist you anytime my dare I say friend. *midori blushed at her forwardness, she was terrible around people* She looked down at her feet and fidgitted as she summoned water to her, feeling its familiar caress as she sent it out to wrap around Cyan.

Gavin sighed and rolled his eyes as he saw his twin calling water to her to help the merman. Seemed he would have to wait to talk to her after all. He stalks off away from her and the missmatched group.

"Well shucks see if I help ya out again" he sayed jokingly and stood up,stretching and heading to the door "Sooo,since we apparently have the day and most of the night to ourselves...what's everybody's plans?"

Mindy looked over and watched Gavin strolling away. She bounced up and happily hopped over to him. "Hey how's it going? I mean beyond orientation being a bit boring that is." She gave him her biggest grin.

Cyan readily accepted the water, thanking Midori profusely. "I'll make it up to you one day," he said, touching the water that flickered about him. It was as though it moved to his bidding, keeping him just inches from the floor. It felt strange.

Hearing the neko's question, the merman beamed a smile. "Swimming for me. A nap. I might have someone go find my astronomy book so I can finish the reading." His blue gaze flickered over to Naida. "I'll see you when the sun's gone." He playfully flicked a bit of the water at her, and then looked over the odd group.

"And I'm ready to head to the pool. I'll see you all in class tomorrow."

"hmm...............swimming equals hot chicks in bikini's................I'M IN DUDE!" he said slapping Cyan on the back "and we got some prime beauties this year"

Cyan laughed, surprised by the slap on his shoulder blade. "Today of all days is when you want to be out there. There are quite a few students who try out the pool before classes start." With a wink, the merman grinned. Even though he usually dwelt in the pool, he was still a male. He'd seen his fair share of half-dressed people in his time. It was one advantage to being a water creature.

"Come on, you." Just as he reached out to snag Ketaro's arm, instinct said otherwise. He'd known the neko for years, so he wasn't too worried about being eaten. Still, when the other boy's cat ears flicked into view, the merman jerked his hand away. He couldn't help it. Cyan cleared his throat and smiled uneasily. "Come on. The pool isn't getting any cooler."

He headed for the pool on his lovely swirling cushion of water. By the time Cyan got there, he let himself fall into the water with a splash. This was heaven. A powerful stroke of his tail fin sent him to the other side of the pool, and he surfaced without looking winded in the least. "Come on, cat. I'm surprised you like water."

Already there were a few students milling about the pool and putting on sunscreen.

*Gavin stopped dead in his tracks stunned by the sudden appearance of the girl* He studied her confused by her approach to him. No one ever talked to him he kept to himself aside from his sister Midori. It took him a moment to respond. Hello fay what do you wish to speak to me about? *his manners were sharp but it was the only way he really knew, as nephilum it is how hew was raised to be a warrior to dispise any who were not his own, human or angel.* The look on her face did something to him though he back peddled quickly I'm sorry I did not mean to sound so brash, you must forgive my manners, It is nice to make your aquaintence* He bowed slightly to her letting his chestnut hair fall into his eyes.


Midori skipped to her dorm room and grabbed a suit. A cute new one in shades of pink and green. She changed into it quickly and pulled on her cover and almost ran to the poolside to get some relaxation in before classes were to start the next day. She was so at home in water, besides her new friends would be there, and she really wanted to spend some time with the merman and the neko.

I'm late I'm late!!! Thought to himself as he ran in threw the gates of school. There was no one in front of the school, therefore he must have been missing orientation!! CRAP! Simon thought to himself again. Mentally cursing himself as he ran into the school auditorium. Stopping as he saw everyone leaving. From the small crowd, the werewolf assumed many others had missed it also. Which made him feel a bit better...

"Well, I may as well go to the pool." The day was getting later and later. He may as well relax. Simon ran up to his dorm room. Throwing his things down and pulling his swim trunks on before running back outside towards the pool. Of coarse the first thing Simon did was cannonball right into the pool.

Mindy's grin grew and her wings seem to glow with the sunrays that had collected in them earlier, though it really wasn't that much brighter. "Oh no worries. I'm so happy to have met you Gavin. I have seen you walking around or with your sister, but haven't been able to personally say hi. Are you headed to class?" She gave him a quick, light hug so easily and simply while asking that it would have seemed to not have happened at all. Her touch had always been light and her manner gracious that it was easy for her to assume that others also were nice and meant only the best.

"WOOHOO! HELLLLLO LADIES!" he yelled at a few of the girls sitting poolside flexing as they giggled amongst themselves a bit "You see Cyan...............THIS is the perfect way to start the year" unbuttons his shirt and slides off his jeans standing in his trunks

Cyan shook water from his features with a laugh. "This is how I start every year. Usually there aren't as many people." He jumped when he felt someone brush his arm. Suddenly ducking under the water, the merman dove. He didn't resurface for a while - he was near the deep end, lingering on the bottom.

A loud splash made his blue eyes flicker upward, and he smiled slightly. With a flick of his tail he was near Simon as he cannonballed into the pool, and just as the boy came up for breath, Cyan appeared in front of him. With his face a few inches from the other's (he wasn't one for personal space, you see), he smiled slyly. "Your splash wasn't big enough."

chuckled to himself "Yeah wolfy it goes a little like this" he said running doing a backflip to a cannonball sending water flowing over Simon and Cyan splashing the girls at poolside

Cyan wasn't phased by the water that flowed over him. Instead, he lifted his blue tail and slapped it down with enough force to return part of the splash. "Katsuo!" Like a child unable to retain himself, Cyan put on a burst of speed. He was beside the neko in the blink of an eye, and a wave of water followed him. There was nothing funnier than a drenched cat boy.

Gavin blinked and went kind of stiff against her. He was not use to this kind of attention. And the girls open affection towards him made him curious and a bit nervous. A sweet smell wafted up engulfing his senses. Was it her hair that smelled so good? Or was it fay magic invading his better judgment. She seemed harmless enough. So he did something that suprised even him ... he returned the hug and inhaled more of the sweet sent coming from her.



Midori waved to Cyan and Katsu as she peeled off her cover-up exposing her little green and pink two piece. Her dark hair stood out against her light skin and picked up in the light breeze. She seemed to glow a faint blue light as the energy of her element engulfed her. She smiles and dives into the pool.

laughs and shakes the water from his hair tiny droplets falling from his ears "hey look" he whispered to Cyan nudging him over to the girl entering the pool

Cyan was laughing when the neko nudged him. His blue eyes shot over to Midori, the girl who'd helped him with the water in the first place. "Yeah. I see her." The merman disappeared under the surface of the water once more. Within moments he'd circled Katsuo and was still lingering near the bottom of the pool to avoid both the people and the need to speak.

((Is it okay if the sun starts to go down so I can bring Naida back? and a few of the other Vampires can come out and play xD))

Simon resurfaced after a few seconds of being other. He came up and was met with the glares of other students. "Sorry everyone!" The boy said happily as he swam to the edge of the pool towards Katsao. His eyes caught Midori's for a second as she dives into the pool. One could say his mouth was so wide open, a spit drop was hanging out. "Man, she is hawt!" Simon said to the cat man.
