((*laugh* Oh, I didn't realize that. When he surfaced, then. :P Cyan got in his face when he surfaced. :lol: A tiny time lapse, but hey!))

Midori let the water engulf her as she dove down to the floor of the pool. She held herself there for a moment relishing it its comforting embrace. She saw Cyan doing what appeared to be the same. She wished she could stay under for as long as him but alas she did have to breath. She swam for the surface and leaped a tiny bit out of the water the setting sun catching on the water droplets in her dark wavy hair. She smoothes it back and openes her eyes scanning the pool. She sees a boy stairing her way and she smiles as a blush touches her cheeks. Humm is he a wolf? She ponders to herself. She had never met a wolf man in person before only heard stories of them from her kind. She smiles through her deepening blush and waves to him as he gazes at her. Then turns and says hello across the water to katsu, amused that she was looking at a cat that seemed to not mind water in the slightest.

Simon glanced toward the setting sun. Tonight it was not a full moon he knew. Close, but tomorrow night was the true full moon. That was when he would change. It was something Simon was used to now. He could almost control it. Or at least ever since coming to this school he could. There were a few other werewolves like him. Not many, but a few. And they would all hang out together. Mainly exercise to ware themselves out. Since human hunting was frowned upon.. sort of. How did the vampires eat after all?

He saw Midori, waving towards them, and Simon waved back shyly. Chicks dug that stuff right? "Your looking for someone else? Who might that be?" Simon asked. He barely knew the Neko, but he was fun to talk to when he found guy.

Naida noticed the sun was slowly going down. A smile crossed her face. She had just finished unpacking her belongings. Standing Naida started to change. Taking off the layers of clothing that had protected her from the sun. Which was such a relief, she had been very hot. One thing Naida learned quickly over her years of living with land-walkers. They would be prudes. In all honesty, clothing was something she was not fond of wearing while underwater.

Reluctantly she slid the bathing suit on. It was a simple blue two piece suit. Nothing really special about it. Throwing on her hooded dress again, Naida headed for the pool. She was down there right as the sun set. Dusk was also a safe time for her, as long as she stuck to the shadows. There were much fewer people at the pool by now. Which was great! She noticed Midori, Katsuo, and Simon. Cyan was probably under the water. Naida headed over to Midori.

"Hey there Midori." Naida said. Pulling off her hooded dress. To many boys, she would appear gross. Her body was built for deep water. There were gash-like marks in her skin. Most were covered by the top part of the bathing suit, but the ones on her sides were still shown. They travelled down from her waist to the side of her thighs. On the edges were bright light blue scales that faded into her natural skin tone. Along with tattoo's some humans would call them. But Naida was in fact born with them. The markings were a dark black-brown swirling pattern that was the similar color to her hair. She could compare the markings to the hair human's grew on their arms and legs. Just something she had. Normally she would wear tons of jewelry, but of coarse she was at school, and not home. The same scales that were on the tips of the gashes accented points of her body. Tops of the hands and feet, back and side of the neck and shoulders, the tips of her ears, and finally the outer side of her legs.

She sat on the edge of the pool with her feet dipped into the water. "Did I miss much?"

(( here are what I think the gashes are like. So they aren't really gashes, I just wasn't sure what else to call them. And I wanted to make it sound gross xD cause I'm weird like that. minus the tail of coarse. ))

Cyan appeared at the edge of the pool, flicking water from his features. "You only missed a few cannonballs." He rested his chin on his forearms as they crossed before him, eying the water sprite with a slight smile. To him, she looked like a piece of home. It had been a long while since he'd been back to the ocean, but he could distinctly recall some rather strange creatures. Naida was just as beautiful to him as any other female might have been - only a bit more unique.
His elbow bumped against the woman's leg, and the merman fell into a contented silence as he listened to the girls talk.

"Yeah,the girl with pink hair that I helped earlier today. She was interesting to me.............." whistles playfully as Naida undresses for the pool

Midori blushed deeper as the wolf boy looked shyly at her. It put her at ease to see him nervous like her. She was about to swim to him and Katsu when she heard Nadia. Midori looked up at the girl as she stripped down to her swim wear. Midori gasped and a smile broke across her face. My My Nadia you are beautiful I envy you of your skin tone so lovely. She extended a hand to her as she entered the pool. Before she knew it Cyan materialized out of what seemed like nowhere. *hi Cyan, nice to see you come up to the surface with us it must have been nice to rest below the water for so long.* She smiled warmly at him and then Nadia she felt very much at home with the sea creatures, more than she should with her upbringing. But all that did not matter to her she wanted peace and saw those not like her as beautiful. She Motioned towards Katsu and the Wolf man, * Katsu here kitty kitty she said with a giggle, she knew him a bit better than the others and thought this to be cute not offinsive. And bring your wolf friend I would like to meet him! With this said she turned to Nadia and smiled to her, it must feel nice for you now that the heat of the day is gone. I mush prefer the light of the moon myself. What classes do you have this year I wonder if we have any together.

swims over to Midori "Now you know your bro doesn't like me near you" he said with a slight giggle

Midori cocks one slender eyebrow at the Neko ... ahh yes Katsu this is very true but in honesty he likes no male near me. She giggles softly. You know how he is he doesnt even like other shadow-hunter males around me. But he has to understand I have friends and one day I may even find someone I like enough to date. *giggle* With that she flicked one delicate finger againt a drop of water on his ear sending it flying.

Grinning at Gavin, she suggested "Come on, this place is emptying." She took his hand in hers to pull him outside. She was slightly surprised at the returned hug. He was always by himself and looking so grumpy and tough. However it had been pleasant and she wanted to get him out in the sunshine where life was just plain more enjoyable.

Gavin allowed himself to be pulled along with the girl. *what the hell am I doing why am I letting her get to me like this... seriously this is not like me what the hell?* He didnt speak as she tugged him outside. He just stared after her in a confused state of internal argument. This was not him and he could not for the life of him figure out why he was giving this creature the time of day. Once outside the breeze picked up that sent she had about her and it intoxicated him, he thought if she didnt smell the way she did he may have been able to ignore this slip of a girl. But that is not how it was she was there pulling him along smelling sweet and bewitching even his steely senses.

Mindy sighed contentedly once in the sun and turned to look Gavin over. He was much too pale for his health and she wondered why he was always by myself. Those would be rude questions though so she asked instead, "It seems that everyone went to the pool to swim because the water creatures need to be there. We have time before our next class. What would you like to do?" She tilted her head and her delicate wings lightly fluttered in the breeze. She was completely unaware of her assault on his senses, but a romantic part of her wished that his intense gaze was for her.

laughs "I guess thats okay.just sometimes he needs to take the stick out of his butt"

"Thank you Midori. It's cause I don't allow the sun to burn it. I will tan up a bit by the end of the year though." Naida told Midori. Cyan came up a second later while she was setting her feet in. She felt his elbow brush her leg, and when she turned to him, he seemed to be zoning out. The girl talk was probably boring him. "I have a ton of electives, and english. I'm taking a bunch of business classes, so I can help my mom." The Asrai told Midori. Katsu came over with Simon just a bit later. Simon held his hand out to Midori, kissing the tips of her fingers when she gave him the privilege.

"He would probably beat you with that stick." Simon mentioned, joining the conversation. "I'm Simon by the way." He introduced.

Naida though dipped herself underwater. Moving away from the crowd for a few minutes while her body adjusted to breathing underwater. When it had she swam to the deep end of the pool and relaxed.

"Right, with the very big stick. Be careful what you wish for, Katsu!" Cyan chuckled, watching as Naida slid from the side of the pool. She moved through the water smoothly, adjusting as she moved to the deeper end of the pool. Though the merman had an immediate urge to swim after her, he kept himself in place. No need to act like a love-struck human or lost puppy.

Cyan's blue eyes closed as he let the moonlight beat down on him, and within moments he sighed happily. Resting on his back in the water, he let it carry him gently. There were less people now that the sun had set, so it was easy to avoid everyone.

"I'm nowhere near afraid of Gavin...........he's a cool dude when you get to know him and we actually use to go way back when we were kids and first started going here" he said sighing slightly "but,things change as do people" he looked around noticing everyone starting to head back "anyways guys I think I'm gonna leave yall to do your thing" he said before nudging Cyan playfully and whispering in his ear "go for it man.............I think she likes you" smiling he pulls himself up and out of the pool grabbing his clothes

Midori looked a little sad as she pondered her brother. He was so anti social so she didnt think much of his absence here at the pool. With a sigh she smiled at Katsu as he was leaving. I will see you in class tomorrow first thing silly kitty.

She then turned her attention to the wolf... he was cute she thought... and blushed it was not like her to openly observe this in a boy. She swam over to where he was and surprised him by being inches from his face when he turned around. Hi she said all bubbly like.



The sun had set and Gavin was still lingering with this girl. Something about her intrested him so he decided to see what it was that pulled him to her so. * So why is it you are so interested in me* he asks her point blank.. a almost cocky smile on his lips.

heading back to his dorm he decides to grab a soda before bed "Where is she...............?" he thought to himself as he entered hsi room and closed the door plopping down on his bed and turning on some music to sleep to

She shrugged, "You were looking alone when everyone else had friends. I was feeling a bit forgotten by them so decided to come hang out with you. Not really a fan of large groups. I get disoriented. Maybe I just read too much. Hey wanna get some supper?" She looked towards the cafe and its flickering lights.

sighs laying staring at the ceiling "urgh I can't sleep"

Simon waved to the neko as he started to leave the pool. "Cya around." He said. The two wouldn't have class together since they were in two different grades. Midori swam over towards him just a bit after. She was cute, actually pretty hot in the water. He glanced towards the moon. He had to wonder if she would be able to stand him when the moon was full. He would be blood thirsty and savage at that time. And could not guarantee the safety of a friend.. or loved one. It was something he thought about time and time again.

"Hey yourself.." He said back rather cooly. There was a smile on his face. He was only inches away from her face, but simon did not move. Suddenly an outside force.. Cyan he assumed by accident, forced him forward and practically on the lips of the poor girl in front of him. He back away quickly. "Ahhhhh I'm so sorry!"

Naida stayed under the water for quiet some time. Almost refusing to come back up. She honestly wished she could stay in the pool of water like Cyan. It was where she was comfortable. A bathtub filled with water only did no much. Even though it was quiet fun and odd to explain when others came to her door in the middle of the night or morning. She laid back right on the cement floor of the pool. Looking up at the waving moon above the surface. She could only see the shadows of a few others around the pool. And only two pairs of feet.

Standing within the water, Naida moved towards a set of stairs on the shallow end of the pool. Taking a deep breath of the night air. She sat back on the stairs. Moon-bathing. It was very similar to sun bathing, gaining for white to her skin, instead of the complete blue it normally had. She noticed the accidental kiss between Simon and Midori.. And Simon looking around trying to blame the merman.. Cyan whom wasn't even near the couple. Naida held in a small laugh. It was a silly situation.

Midori flushed a bright pink as their lips met. Tendrils of water flew around the pair in her surprise, making almost and inpromptu cage around them. Her breath caught as the boy jumped away from her and started offering apologies. She looked at him for a moment before her eyes darted down and she stuttered * I....uhh... ummm...I... I AM SO SORRY SIMON!* She blurted out as her cheeks deepened in color. Her element calming to release them from its flowing cage settled back into the surface of the pool. When she looked back at the boy before her, her eyes were such an intense violet they seemed to glow. She nibbled her bottom lip nervously as she looked at him, a force of habit when she didnt know exactly what to say, this had never happened to her before. She had never kissed anyone in her life. It was kind of nice in a way though so short she thought. Did he do it on purpose? Did he really want to kiss her? Or was it a simple mistake? Her head swirled as she stared at him hoping he would say something.

Had anyone stopped to look they would have seen something very different in the reflection of the water, it was not just Midori reflected there but a glowing angel full black wings extended, shimmering just below the surface. But All Simon saw was the shy girl chewing her bottom lip, simply Midori.


Gavin stopped short an intense rage coming over him out of nowhere. Midori he thought... something was wrong with Midori.
He glanced to the Fay beside him... I have to go if you want to continue this you can come with or set it for later... something is wrong with my sister I can feel it! With that he stood and closed his eyes sensing her he followed their thread that connected them.

Mindy stood immediately and answered musically, "I'll come with you Gavin. Maybe I won't be able to help, but I would like to at least offer morale support." She watched his face as he walked with closed eyes. His entire body was attuned so intently to something. She wondered what could have happened. Also how he had such a close connection to her. Her light feet and delicate glowing wings creating little disturbance in the evening air. Her golden beauty no less the pretty than it had been during the day or in happier circumstances.

Cyan heard the burst of movement from the other end of the pool. The blue-haired male laughed before slipping underwater. He drifted about for a long while before surfacing near Naida. Instead of speaking, he merely brushed his scaled fin against her bare leg. It was a companionable gesture.

The male smiled a bit before dipping back under the surface. As much as he enjoyed Naida and the other students, he needed sleep. Sleep came with a cool place on the floor of the deep end of the pool. No one would bother him, and no one could reach him - well, nearly no one.

Cyan resurfaced for a few brief moments to bid everyone a good night. "I need some sleep," he admitted with a grin. "Don't get too rowdy, you two." The merman winked at Simon and Midori before using his powerful tail to appear at Naida's side. Perched on the stairs beside her for the briefest of moments, he looked up at the moon that the water sprite seemed to be absorbing. "See you tomorrow, Naida."

As though it were the most normal thing in the world, the merman leaned over and brushed his lips against the woman's cheek. When she turned to look at him, their lips met briefly. The mer-folk apparently had different standards on what was or wasn't socially acceptable. Their boundaries were slightly . . . stretched.

Cyan's smile was followed by a laugh, and he disappeared under the water in a flash of moonlit scales and water droplets.

Naida heard Cyan come up beside her. Although she did not say anything right away. She did turn when she got close to her face, unexpectedly kissing his lips briefly. She was not phased one bit. Maybe hinting it was not the first time. Laws of the ocean though were much different from on land. For one, most female animals were the powerful ones in the relationships. Though slightly different with humanoid creatures. Many of the students could probably see that Naida did not ask like the giddy girl, "I'll see you tomorrow." She said to him, smiling.

Her eyes followed his until the merman disappeared under the water. Her mother would be disappointed if she completely fell head over heels for a merman. Though it was a common sight, her mother was a purest in their people. Believing Naida should hunt for a sprite partner. But male Sprites were hard to even find to begin with. Many of her kind often shared their husbands oddly enough. Which was something she wanted nothing to do with. She slowly got out of the water herself. Deciding it was time to head back to her own room. But the sight of Gavin coming towards the pool, stopped her from moving.

Simon saw just how nervous the other girl was. He got up out of the pool, sitting on the edge comfortably. Avoiding completely another.. early incident. Simon did not want to say mistake. It was not completely a mistake. Oh man was he going to rub this in to Katsu. "Hey hey~" Simon started, smiling warmly at Midori. "I'm sorry, I did not mean to kiss you so soon. I mean I should have really brought you out to dinner first... Speaking of which.." He smiled down at the girl chewing on her lip. "Would you like-" He froze though at the view of Gavin walking right towards them.
