"I'll come!" Emma said cheerfully as she stuck her hand in the air. She hopped out of the chair and stepped beside the boy.

"This isn't even my class anyways," she giggled. "And I would like to know where the nurse's office is too..." Emma paused before cupping her hands over her mouth and whispering to him "You may not believe this but I'm not the most careful person at time and I tend to get hurt a lot."

Hito looked around, great no one around.

He walked in further into the room.

Takuto gave a content grin to Emma. "Hm. That's weird. I'm a pretty cautious person but I tend to get hurt alot all of the times. Thanks to this thing on my shoulder." Takuto pointed to his ferret Jackers.

"Hopefully the nurse's office is easier to find than the library. It says here that is in the west wing." Takuto acquired his silver compass out of his pocket. West was to his left. "So it will be this way."

They both went left.
"So if history was not your class, then what was?" Takuto asked. They continued to walk.

"Ah...." Emma's eyes wondered to the side as she thought about his question. What was her first class again?

"Oh! It was English I believe. Not that is really matters," she mumbled before looking down at her watch. "Class is probably half way done by now. Not showing up to class on the first day of school...That probably won't leave a very good impression of me on the teacher," she sighed while fidgeting with her fingers. "I mean it's not like they gave me a map! Where did you say you got yours?"

Snow gave a smile to the girl before the other more energetic person seemed to get a better idea."My name, ironically...is Snow..." Then, like that, she was basically all alone again. The teacher wouldn't be showing up....so....

"This...school? I simply was looking for a new place to live andthis was hte only place that would accept me."

There was a tap on the window, and a bird was hovering outside of it. Wasting no time, she hurried over and opened the window, letting the pigeon flutter down to her hand.

"Oh Iris."

Dani turned back into the hallway where the classroom she had left was and noticed that Emma and that boy were walking out of the room. I think I'll just go back to my dorm and search for my schedule, she thought as she headed in that direction, she walked close to the walls so she could run her hand along the walls as she went. She began to hum a song as she went. When she reached the dorm hallway again, she picked up her pace and went into her dorm. She noted that there were no extra bags in the room. "I wonder who my roommate will be" she said out loud as she walked over to her bags. I should probably check my backpack first, she thought as she started to rustle through the paper. She found several papers and read each one carefully. She finally found it, shoved in between two books. "Well damn, she thought as she studied her schedule. [/size][/color]

"Well I got my map with my mail. My parents requested to see it." They turned left. The map seemed to been strange, it was changing. The nurse's office faded out of the map. There was a complete blank there.

"What?! What happened. The map changed. Oh no, I don't know where we are." Takuto started to panic, he could not remember the directions to go back. He looked ahead of him. The hall was in complete darkness. "There is something wrong about this! Emma do you know anything about this?"

Takuto started to panic. He was stuttering when Jackers ran to the dark hall.
"Jackers, NO!" It was too late. Takuto stand there in grief.

Emma was mentally scolding herself for not asking for a map in advance when Takuto suddenly started to panic over the map. She was now looking over his map as well when Jackers took off into the dark hall. Emma's usual cheerful or confused expression twisted into that of great worry and fear. She didn't like the darkness...not one bit. But taking a deep breath, she quickly put on her usual cheerful smile before Takuto would notice her worried mood.

"Don't worry. I-I'll get him," she offered. "You just wait here and try and figure out the map. I shouldn't be too long!" she added before taking another breath and sprinting into the dark hall after Jackers.

Kali grinned at her find, and made a mental note of where this room was. She put the book back, and went out the door.

"Strange," she murmured, "I thought this hall was different. Oh well, it doesn't matter. I won't get lost in such a place."

She started walking the way she had come. She then begin to realize that she didn't know where she was. For some reason her sense of direction was off. This was very unlike her, but she stayed calm.

Rose continued to wander. She peeked her head in a few class rooms. It seemed as if they were all empty. It was rather strage really.

"Emma, it's okay. He can find himself back. I don't want you to get lost my own mistakes." He tried to grabbed her hand but a sense of shock stopped him on his tracks. "I shall pray for your return." Takuto smiled.

He stood there looking at the map. The map's compass was spinning. It was impossible to know if they were going east, west, north or south. Takuto acquired his pocket compass and it was working. Takuto had a sigh or relief. The dark hall was pointing south. He turned around, the arrow was still going south. No matter which direction he faced, the compass pointed to the dark hall. There was something wrong down there. Something eerie. Takuto started walking to save Emma. Suddenly he heard footsteps. Was it another classmate? He stood there, listening, worried for Emma's health.

Kali heard voices, and immediately her ears picked up it was that boy from earlier. She looked and sure enough it was him in the same hall. She pretended she knew where she was going, even though she was a little panicked that for some reason, everything seemed different from before.

She approached and said calmly, "Where are you two looking to go?"

"Jackers!" Emma called out into the darkness. Her voice echoed throughout the hall then faded into silence. All that could be heard was her slow steps across the cold floor. Her eyes were having trouble adjusting to the darkness. She kept one hand outstretched to prevent from walking into anything and kept the other hand clutched above her rapid beating heart. She hated the darkness. She hated the silence. She hated being alone. Her eyes wandered around nervously. Why would they keep a hallway so dark? How could students find their way around? She honestly wanted to run back, but she wasn't quite sure where "back" was any more.

"Kali! There you are. We were looking to go to the nurse's office but it seems as though we have been in more trouble than what we bargained for. We were following my map but look at it!" Takuto showed the map to Kali. "It's going haywired. Worst off, Jackers and Emma are in there. They need our help. And my compass is not working right too. I think it's been bewitched."

Takuto was starting to be calmer now. "I have to go. I know Emma needs my help." He ran to the darkness. "Holming Wichet!" Takuto screamed. His amulet shone a radiant light to guide the way. He ran looking for Emma. "Emma! Are you there?! EMMA!" The darkness started to grow bigger. It seemed as though the empty space was growing larger. Was he going straight, left, right. He was not sure. It was like a blind rat in a maze.

Emma had stopped walking now. She merely stood on the middle of the hall, biting her lower lip as her eyes continued to dart around nervously.

"Jackers?" she called out weakly. She opened her mouth again, the word almost getting caught in her throat. "...Anyone?" Emma brought her hands back until the tips of her fingers touched a wall. She leaned up against it and slid down until she was sitting on the floor. She curled her legs in and tucked her knees under her chin. A heavy sigh escaped her slips.

"Getting lost in my own school. How stupid can you get..." she mumbled before hiding her face in her knees.

Kali didn't get the longest of chances to look at the map, but her face said it all. She didn't understand what was going on. In all her five hundred years of existence, she had never experienced something like this before. She wanted to look at the map longer, but Takuto had run off.

I guess I'll just have to follow him. She thought to herself, and quickly caught up to him.

"Takuto, wait." She said calmly as he was running. She showed no expression of exertion for running after him. The only thing that was apparent on her face was that she was thinking and that she was concerned about the situation. She hadn't been this antsy over something in a long time. She reached out and grabbed him on the shoulder as to stop him. "Before you run, listen to me for a second. I can see in the dark better than you can, we might be able to find her better if you follow me." She didn't add in that she could also hear better, and regretted saying that she could see in the dark better. All she wanted to do was figure out what was going on.

Takuto felt Kali's grip and suddenly stopped.
"You can see in the dark? But how? I'm a measly human so it's impossible for me to do such things. My traits cannot possess to a natural power like that." Takuto was trying to catch his breath. The air seemed to be lighter down here too. He felt a bit drowsy. "Here's the map. Maybe your eyes can see something secret on there. Kind of like an x-ray." He gave Kali the map to let her observe it more closer. "We have to hurry. Emma needs our help! I'll follow you." Takuto turned off the light on his amulet. It was a waste of energy, especially when he had to conserve his health when oxygen was low.

Why did I say something as stupid as that, he might find me out! Kali thought to herself. She would curse right now, but she needed to keep her cool. "Are you suggesting that I am not human?" She asked, and started to walk, not wanting an answer to that. She examined the map, pretending that it would help find the girl, when really she could just use her sensitive ears.

"Stay close, and try not to get lost. I don't know what is going on with this school, and I don't like it. There aren't many things that give me a feeling quite like this." She said, almost growling a little bit with her last sentence. She didn't like the situation, and she also didn't like admitting that it wasn't making her comfortable.

"Human? Of course you've got to be a human. Isn't it one of the requirements of the school?" Takuto felt drowsy again. He recovered his posture. "Okay, I'll follow you. My horrible eyes never come in handy, and my glasses rarely work." Takuto was grabbing the wall. He was determined to find Jackers and Emma. Hold on tight, he thought, this was for Emma.

Hito shook his head- he didn't like this. He turned right around and headed back out. He was going to find someone even if it killed him. (Hito never did like being alone)

Snow quietly led the pigeon out of the room, stroking the birds soft feathers to keep it relatively quiet. Takuto had brought to light that some people were scared of birds. Gently her voice sang a song to quiet and calm the creature, who had been unsettled by movement and the new location.

She slipped outside to wait, letting Iris snuggle herself into her clothes, smiling sweetly up at the sky while she could, relaxed.

Emma shivered slightly. The ground was cold against her legs. She propped her chin up on her knees, her eyes trying to take in her surroundings. Things were still dark, but at least she could see a couple feet at best in front of her.

"I hope Jackers is staying out of touble, or at least in a better place then I am," she mumbled quietly. "I hope Takuto won't be too upset with me that I couldn't find him. So much for making a friend..."

"Human? Of course you've got to be a human. Isn't it one of the requirements of the school?"

Little could Takuto see, she smirked at this remark and said quietly, "Of course it is..."

Noticing he was having trouble following her, she concluded it would be faster if she helped out. She grabbed his hand, tugging slightly, so he wouldn't have to rely on the wall. "Come on, we're not going to find her if we waste time like this."

She treaded lightly on the ground, as to try and see if she could hear Emma. Letting out a curse under her breath, she realized that was going to be harder than she thought. She thought she heard soft mumbling, but it was so quiet, it was hard to pinpoint which direction it was coming from. Come on, say something louder! She thought to herself in her frustration.

What was up with this school? Why were there so many unusual things going on? True, she wanted to come to the school because of its unusual and mysterious history, but she never imagined anything like this would happen...and on her first day! God knows what the rest of them would be like. She let out an aggravated cry that echoed around her before burring her face back into her knees, wrapping her arms tightly around her legs and clutching at her skirt.
