"A ways away," was all she said not wanting to give away the fact she'd caused a few too many problems at her school. That was the entire reason why she was here and not at home, which was thousands of miles away. Catching herself slightly she relaxed a bit more. "And yourself?"

ic: Ruby walked up to the two talking girls and said, "Hi! I'm Ruby Flame. I'm a fire elemental. I'm in dorm 7. Which dorms are you guys in???"

"I'm from the other side of the country, actually," she said. "That's pretty much it." Hester took note of the girl Ruby that came up to them. "Hi...uh...isn't it obvious? This is my dorm room," she said, motioning to the room that Ruby and Isabella were standing outside of.

Isabella jumped when she heard the other voice. She wasn't usually skiddish but she wasn't expecting her room mate to pop up out of no where. "Oh I'm in 7," she said.

"Be ware of the bed bugs," she snickered.

"Oh my g-d! Me too! U'm Also in dorm 7!!! Awesome!!!" Ruby exclaimed.

'Beware of the bed bugs? What the heck is this girl on?' Hester asked herself. "My bedding is in pristine condition, thank you very much. Well, since you've both found each other you can go take care of arranging your room now. I've still got a bit of unpacking to do."

Truth is, Hester despised unpacking whenever she was abroad. She preferred to keep her bags packed. The problem was she'd have to live here while attending school...and that was a long time.

Isabella nodded slightly. "Oh I wasn't talking to you," she said bluntly though it sounded a bit rude. She hated the idea of unpacking since normally she was kicked out of the dorms and would have to pack again in a month or two.

"So Ruby," she said. "Why don't we go organize our stuff."

ic: "Okay!" Ruby exclaimed. She walke into her dorm and found two neatly laid beds, a desk on the side of each one, a closet, and a big drawer. And of course, lights. "So..." she continued, "Which bed do you want???" she asked her roommate.

She went back inside her room and shut the door behind her. "So much for meeting people around here." Hester locked her door and sat at her desk, logging onto her computer (which was pretty much a pink laptop) and checking for her class schedule, which she had emailed to herself.

Isabella reluctantly followed Ruby back to the room. she studied the beds for a moment. "I want the one on the right," she said sharply not meaning to be sharp. her bag was already at the end of it though it wasn't unpacked yet. Her laptop was in there along with a small amount of clothing that she had. "Are we done?" she asked.

ic: "You can have it." Ruby said to Isabella as she walked over to the bed of the left, put her bagon it and began unpacking.

Isabella relaxed a bit more then. "Thank you," she said after a moment of silence. She went to her bag then and started sorting through her clothing so she could have it properly organized.

ic: The second Ruby pulled out her laptop she immmediately tutned it on and checked her e-mails. One from hger motehr and one from her best friend Ashley. She decided to read the one from her mom.

Ruby replied and typed in a quick 'Hello. I'm fine. the school's okay.'

Then she opened Ashley's e-mail.

How's boarding school???  :roll:  (Ashley doesn't know where Ruby really is)

Ruby decided she would call Ashley later instead of replying to her e-mail. Then she shut off her laptop. But it to charge and went back to unpacking.
(Note: None of these are real e-mail adresses!)

Isabella had been watching Ruby out of the corner of her eye with interest, wondering why she'd so quickly check her e-mail. She sighed in remembrance of the fact that there actually people on this planet who were fortunate enough to have friends.

She went back to sorting through her clothes and put the t-shirts in alphabetically order by band as she always did, and then started shifting through it by colour. She felt like saying something to Ruby but couldn't think of the right words so she was silent.

[[lol... nice!]]

ic: It seemed awfully quiet as Issabella and Ruby unpacked. too quiet. ruby decided to break the silence,

"So... Where are you from/where do you live???" she asked.

Isabella only smirked slightly since she'd been avoiding the question at all costs since she got on the bus to get here. She gave a sigh as she paused in her sorting and unpacking.

"All over I guess," she said. "I went to one school but got kicked out, then another and the same thing happened. Basically I've been going to boarding schools my entire life and haven't stayed in one for more than two years, or long enough to develop good friendships."

ic: "Why did you get kicked out?" Ruby asked surprised.

A curious smiled played on Isabella's lips as she considered which story to tell her. She had an endless amount of stories how she had made peoples lives a living hell.

"Well," she said looking very innocent. "There was this group of people at my last school. They always teased me, so I took care of them."

She grinned now though it was playful as she anticipated what her room mate would say. Of course all she had done was humiliate them in front of the entire school and lock them out of their dorms, just a series of what she thought to be mindless tasks. They always tripped after they teased her too, providing great [yet hidden] amusement.

ic: "Sounds like hwat happened at my school." Ruby replied her eyes twinkling as she too lied.

Isabella only smiled though she sensed something about Ruby that she didn't quite like. She ignored it though because she thought that of everyone she met. "What did you do?" she asked with a curious smile.

ic: "Oh..." Ruby said slyly with a little smile. "I'm not supposed to tell... I sort of... used my elemental powers for evil if you want to put it that way..." she said. It was true though. It was part of the reason she was going to this school. Everyone was afraid of her. afraid of her uncpntroled power(s). Afraid, of what evil it held for them.

Isabella only nodded slightly. She had no fear at this point. She was reckless though and had a habit of doing things that weren't exactly the right thing to do. "Well that's interesting," she said. "What's your element then?"

ic: "Fire." Ruby said her etyes flashing. When she spoke it the word had a spooky dangerous sound to it.

Isabella kicked the floor slightly and it made a thudding sound. She didn't notice it since this was a habit. Getting sick of organizing the clothes she muttered something and they started to organize themselves.

"You were saying?" she asked. "Fire. An interesting and quite volatile substance. I find it peculiar that anyone can actually control it to some extent."

ic: "Oh." Ruby said smiling slyly. "You can control it when you are or can become fire." she said her eyes once again flashing as she said 'fire'.
