Welcome to "Shounen High."
Shounen High was originally called "Sen Kawa." The school sits on top of a lush, green meadow which is fed by melting snowfall. There seem to be small, trickling, varied blue streams and waterfalls wherever one turns. Thus, the name, "sen kawa." Where exactly is this located? Somewhere in the east, somewhere old, somewhere only your heart can find.

Only those who belong can find it. That doesn't mean they do well, mind you, for Sen Kawa is a very different school indeed. It only means that those who come, whether knowing or not, have the potential. On the outside, Sen Kawa is a school for the elite, male, firstborns. It has always been such since before anyone could remember. Businessmen, lawyer, doctor, or dictator, it matters not what your parents are here. Tuition is not the issue. The only way anyone gets in is through blood sampling, and then a trial.

The Hidden Story
Sen Kawa has been nicknamed "Shounen High" by the locals. This is because the people attending it tend to be very charismatic, witty, elegant, or beautiful. Some say it out of admiration, others use it as a taunt. While it is true that all of the youth attending Sen Kawa seem lovely in some way, it would be a grave mistake to assume the residents of Sen Kawa are uke little pretty-boys. Everyone in this school is a descendant of mythicals. Some are aware, others are not, some are more recently related to mythicals, others are so distantly related there is no recorded history of them. Some students have abilities, others have yet to discover them. There is no mistake, though. Everyone attending Sen Kawa passed through a hellish trial to get here. That trial varies by the individual. Those rejected do not survive the trial.

There are no female students. Nor youngest children. Only the firstborn sons ever make it. This is because most magic (in this RP anyhow) passes down genetically from parent to offspring, and is most potent in firstborn males. This is not to say there are no females on campus--there are. They're just not students.

1. No one-liners.
2. Divide OOC posts and IC posts. Brackets, whatever.
3. Narrate. Do the best you can. Don't half-assedly do things.
4. No killing off of other characters without asking the RPer of that character first.
5. Each student begins at best with one ability. No exceptions.
6. If you want someone to be more active, PM them maybe? Don't just sit there and follow your own post for 5 pages straight. x_x'
7. From time to time, I may give characters information. This information is only for your character. Do not tell it to others. Ex...I may say "You hear a note and your character has a flashback of blah blah blah.." and also tell you, "Later x is hidden at Y, and that's why it's important your character has this flashback.."

Well act accordingly. Don't just leap to Y. Get there progressively? (This won't happen often, but for some events it will.)

YOUR FIRST RP POST SHOULD BE THE RESPONSE YOUR CHARACTER HAS AFTER THE TRIAL THEY GO THROUGH UPON ARRIVAL.  (Potential students are given a letter, they submit their response and a blood sample, sign a waiver in case of death, then their flight is arranged for them.  If they pass the trial, they stay.  Their belongings are shipped out, courtesy of the school, to them if they pass.  Your character has passed.  Explain what they do?  What do they choose to bring?)

The door behind him clicked shut. He really had to sprint those last few seconds, and after the previous room, he'd thought he would die in this room. Thought.

It was certain death in that room..but there'd been a glimmer of hope when this door appeared. It had been worth it to try. The exertion had made him ridiculously weak, however, and he was more tired than he'd been in a while. Now that the room wasn't wobbling anymore, he closed his eyes and relaxed his neck, his head pressed against the floor. The dark marble floor was pleasantly cool.

"Oh. You made it."

Lysis couldn't make out whose voice it was, nor did he actually care. It might've just been in his head. His head no longer hurt, though the rest of his body did. He was safe now, and he fell asleep. The floor was so very comfortable and he was so tired.

It felt a little like the restroom floor.
