BB laughed at Yumi's blushing, then smiled brightly, "Oh how wonderful...You know, i can tell you're a new bride, you have that funny little sparkle in your eye. Congratulations." She shifted a bit and then crossed her legs, leaning her elbow on her knee and placing her chin in her hand.

Moa finished her muffin and nodded at Yumi's answer. She looked at the newcomer who had said her name was BB and waved to her, not sure if she saw. She smiled and nodded when BB congratulated Yumi. She grabbed a poppy seed muffin from the basket and held into the air. "A toast to being a new bride and meeting new neighbors."

Euphoria grabbed a banana nut muffin and raised hers to meet Moa's. "A toast to new neighbors and a new bride! Yeaaay!" She said, energetically, taking a big bite out of her muffin.

BB looked at Moa and smiled, nodding as she lifted her half-eaten muffin, "Here, Here!" Laughing at herself, she finished the muffin and dusted the crumbs off her lap. Picking up a second muffin she glanced at everyone, "To new beginnings!"

"New beginnings!" She said, and toasted BB, taking another large mouthful of muffin. She chewed slowly and swallowed, very happy that she'd already made friends.

Moa grinned and touched the muffins that the others held up. She took a big bite and took out a crumb for Feral as well. It was good finding new people, even if they weren't your age.

Euphoria looked up and down the street, then jumped up as she saw a taxi begin to round the corner. "Yumi, yumi! Look! I think that's himm~!" She pointed at the cab that was on the far end of the street. It was going oddly slow, possibly looking for the house, because most of them looked the same. "Hey!" She jumped a bit and waved, hopefully to direct the foreign looking cab driver over to their spot.

Moa sat up when she heard Euphoria call out Yumi's name. Her husband, here already? Wow, must be a fast airport. She laughed when Euphoria had tried to get their attention. Maybe I should throw a muffin. She thought this jokingly and stood up with Feral on her fingers. "Time to be the overly colorful, head turning bird you are." She chuckled and pushed Feral into the air towards the taxi.

It seemed Yumi was mimicing Euphoria's coice of muffins as she pulled out a Bannana Nut muffin for the toasting they were doing. What off little resoursefulness their small group seemed to have.
She was glad that they all had stopped by to chat with her and that they had all already become friends. I love this island already. She thought to herself as she held up her muffin during the toasts and took a bite out of it.

Yumi sat up straight, almost to the point of standing, as she craned her neck to see the taxi. She thought it would be better for her to stand in the open, so she did stand up, excususing herself from the group, and walked down the small row of three steps that lead up to the porch.

Euphoria watched as the taxi driver and Yumi's husband noticed them and pulled up. The husband got out and embraced Yumi. "My, they look wonderful together!" She said to Moa and BB, wishing she had a husband as well..

"Hhmm?" BB raised an eyebrow as she chewed her muffin, then turned to look at the road, "ooohhh" She stood up and walked over to the railing of the porch, leaning on it a bit to see the arrival.

D'Nomyar squeezed Yumi close to him and kissed her lovingly. "I got here as fast as I could. The time away from you was hell, especially since I had to deal with annoying people such as your brothers and mother in law," D'nomyar said with a smile. "So, who are the neighbors?"

So this is Yumi's husband, a bit different from what I imagined, but not in a bad way. Moa bit into her muffin before fully finishing it. She stood up and walked over to D'Nomyar and stuck out her hand in a friendly way. "Hi, I'm Moa." She wondered about him and where he came from, the mainland too? Her bird came back at the exact same time, flying around the new person there. "Oh, and this is my pet: Feral."

Yumi returned the kiss and wrapped her arms lovingly around his neck. "I missed you so much. At least you are finally away from them and their annoyance." She smiled happily at him.
To answer his question, she adjusted her arms from around his neck, moving them so that only her left arm was around his waist. She turned to face the neighbors. She was about to introduce them when Moa came down and introduced herself.
She waited patiently for him to introduce himself before she would introduce the others. Maybe they would like to introduce themselves. She thought, making her decision to let them each have the chance of introducing themselves before she did.

Euphoria extended her hand to D'Nomyar and said, "Welcome! I'm Euphoria. This is my kitty, Gallagher!" She said, looking down at Gallagher, and then back at D'Nomyar. "Do you come from the mainland as well?"

Well, since everyone else is... BB stood up and brushed the wrinkles out of her pants before skip-stepping down off the porch to greet Yumi's husband. Awaiting her turn, she then stuck her hand out, "Hi, I'm BB...live just down there..." She gestured towards her house, then stepped back.

D'nomyar looked at both Euphoria and BB, not sure which one he should introduce himself to first. He finally extended both his hands to both women and smiled. "Hello, Euphoria and BB, I'm D'nomyar!" he chuckled, something that he did quite often, and smiled at them both. "If by the mainland, you mean a crappy southern state in the United States, then yes," he said to Euphoria to answer her question.
After he shook with both women, D'Nomyar offered Gallagher his finger to shake. "And hello there, little kitty!" he said to Gallagher.

Euphoria giggled at D'nomyar's gesture and shook the hand extended to her. "Haha.. I come from the Emerald Isle.. Quite a ways from where you're native." Letting go of his hand, she laughed loudly at D'nomyar's gesture to Gallagher.

"Prrrroowwwwr!" Meowed Gallagher, grabbing D'nomyar's finger and shaking it.

Yumi giggled at the sight of Gallagher shaking D'nomyar's hand.
Yumi could not stop smiling. She was so glad that he had arrived earlier than planned. She could hardly wait to give him a tour of the island.
At that moment, there was a scratching on the door. Yumi stepped away from the group, manuvered her way to the front door, and opened it. Aranel and CÃzrdan dashed past me and jumped around D'nomyar excitedly. The both were really happy to see him too.

"Hey, buddies," D'nomyar said with a smile as he stooped down and pet Aranel and CÃÂzrdan. They jumped around him excitedly, wagging their tails, and licked his face. "I take it that they like this island as well?" D'nomyar asked Yumi.

Yumi giggled. "They are both as excited to see you as I am." She smiled brightly at him.
She realized everyone was standing, so she suggested, "Why don't we take a seat on the porch?"

D'nomyar smiled at Yumi while still petting the pet foxes. "That sounds like a good idea. what do you all think?" he asked the neighbors.

Moa nodded, with her bird back on her arm. "Agreed." She went back to find a seat and sat down, thinking of all the new neighbors that suddenly turned up. It certainly wasn't something that happened everyday.
