This is a modern type role play of Menewsha.

You own your own piece of property and have any job you wish. You recieve your income (gold) though the job (posting) that you do. ^_^
Your income can be used to buy different things. You can create your own household goods and buy your food without having to spend any of you gold on here.
You can pretty much make up most of the RP. Just use your imagination! ^_^

Yumi had finished her tour of the island. The island of Menewsha sounded like a wonderful place to settle down.
After exploring the island some more, she decided to purchase a nice pice of property off to the edge of town. There were several houses around this area that were for sale and a few that were sold already. She wondered who her neighbors would be.
She entered the house and began to unpack her things. Her husband and the rest of the things would be arriving later during the week. She could not wait to show him the house she had picked out. She had called him earlier and told him about it. He seemed really happy about it, though probably because he was happy to be moving out of his house and they could live together finally. Their life up til now had been a roller coaster. Yumi was really happy too.\
After unpacking what she could, she sat on the front steps and listened to her surroundings. Later she would probably visit the town again and possibly go shopping.

Euphoria entered the home she had just purchased on the beach of Menewsha Island. It was a large beach house that would make a lovely place for parties and such once she made some friends. Her bedroom, the kitchen, the bathroom, and the living room were already completely done up. She had an interior designer set them up as she wanted, with the designers added touch.

Stepping into her room, Euphoria sighed as she flung herself down onto the bed. "Ahh.. Nothing like a new bed!" She said as Gallagher, the white Scottish Fold cat leaped onto her stomach from high on the old fashioned clothes chest. She grabbed a remote off of the bedside table and hit a button. It turned on the large stereo mounted on the wall next to the clothes chest. Suddenly, The Apathetic Way To Be, a song by Reliant K was blaring through the speakers mounted in each corner of the room. "Yeah I'm not angryyy~ and no, I'm not upsetttt! It's taken me a while.." she continued to sing the song. Her voice was beautiful, and well toned. She had been in very prodigious choirs throughout High School and College, those of which had brought her vocal skills to those of true professionals. She hoped that she could find a band, or maybe cut a solo route, here on Menewsha Island, to couple with her job as the owner of a small Psychological Help Centre that was going to experience it's first day open, the next day.

After the song finished, Euphoria clicked off the stereo, then ran down the stairs to the main floor's bathroom. She applied a heavy coat of eyeliner and brushed her long, shiny hair before trotting out the door and along the beach. She wasn't wearing clothes that she normally would. Her bare feet padded along the sand as she straightened out her checkered red and white shirt and white miniskirt. Euphoria felt up to her name and just plain well, euphoric! Menewsha Island looked like a grand place to live..

As Yumi moved from her porch onto the lawn and sprawled herself out on the soft grass, her two foxes came out to join her. Aranel took a spot at Yumi's left side while CÃzrdan curled up at Yumi's right side. As Yumi watched the clouds pass lazily over head, she stroked Aranel's fur absentmindedly. She was so excited about her husband getting here.
About 30 minutes later, Yumi asked if Aranel and CÃzrdan if they wanted to come with her into the town. They both nodded and followed her happily all the way to the town.

Yumi's first stop was the grocery store. Aranel and CÃzrdan had to wait patiently outside while Yumi purchased some groceries that they would need. Luckily the town was not that far from her house. She only picked up the essentuals because the bags would have been too heavy otherwise.

After a quick stop back home to unload the groceries, Yumi once again entered into town. She check out each of the shops. Buying a few nice ornaments that caught her eye, or some beautiful fabrics that she could use to make clothes from later. Being a fashion designer came with its own perks, and designing her own clothing was one of them.

Once her arms were coated in bags and the sun was begining to set, did she return home again.
She fed Aranel and CÃzrdan, then began to make her own dinner of wild rice with green beans on the side. She would unpack later that night.

Moa Ephemera Shea or Moa, as she was so obviously called, stared out the window of her living room. There were a lot of new neighbors across the street. There was one that was currently unpacking (they should install curtains) and few sold houses here and there. Man, I hope I don't have to bring everyone a muffin basket. She saw her pet, Feral fly over and held out her arm for her to perch on. "Hello to you too. Back from your nap?" Her Lorikee nodded in response and moved to her shoulder as Moa stood up.

Her stomach had rumbled and as she soon found out, there was nothing but butter, a carton of yogurt milk, and a bag of chips past their sell by date. She gladly ripped open the bag and ate as fast as she could (without spilling any on the floor). Unfortunately, the bag had more air than food. She sighed and grabbed the keys to her house. "I'm going out!" She didn't really know why she said that since she lived alone, but old habits die hard. As she walked to the local grocery store she saw her Lorikee following after her..again. "Feral, what did I tell you about.." She didn't get to finish her sentence when Feral had pooped on one of the neighbor's packages. If anyone asks, that was just a mainland bird

Euphoria cartwheeled around a bit, before deciding that she'd bike around and find some people to chill with. She wanted to make friends as quickly as possible. Upon arriving back at her home, she threw on a pair of sandles that laced up to just below her knees before grabbing her red bicycle and riding into the group of houses right outside of town. She looked around and only saw one that even looked inhabited. '..How quaint.." she thought, before hopping off her bike in front of the single inhabited home. Walking up to the house, Euphoria pressed her finger into the doorbell, and stood patiently, leaning on the doorframe.

Yumi heard the doorbell ring and left the food where it was. She hurried to reach the front door, her heart racing excitedly. When she opened the door, she was dismayed to find it was not who she was expecting. Her smile impulsively faded from her mouth. She did not expect him to be here this early, nor did she expect him to find the house right away. She did not know why she let herself think it could be him.

She pushed her thought from her mind for now and smiled a polite and friendly smile. "Hello. Are you new to this island too? I just moved in earlier today. My name is Yumi."
She reached out her hand for the stranger to shake.

Moa sighed, it was a lost cause trying to convince Feral not go with her. She was at her front door, with a bird on her shoulder and a key in her hand. She locked her door and saw a girl walking up to one of the just sold houses. Hmm, maybe I should go visit them too sometime. She walked a few blocks over to the market and stood at the front door, waiting for Feral to get off. "It says 'NO pets allowed', so circle around the store or something."

Feral flew off, grudgingly and circled into the sky, pooping on the unlucky people who happened to be crossing paths at the moment. Moa slapped her forehead and went in. At least it was better than trying to get her into her cage. She walked into the building, picking up a basket on the way. She walked into the snacks aisle, picking up a variety of chips, crackers, and anything else that started with a "C". SHe walked around, suddenly seeing a few pre-made muffin baskets on sale. Well it's not everyday that I'm giving people baskets.

She took on off the shelf and headed to the cashier. The cashier looked a bit drab, dressed in a plain blue smock and wearing a beige shirt-blouse-whatever-it-was. She waited idly as he scanned all the items. Moa left when she was finished and Feral flew to her happily or maybe pissed because she bit Moa's ear when she landed. "Ow, geez I picked up food for you too!" She muttered something and went home. By the time she arrived, the neighbor seemed to be open and greeting. She walked past them and fumbled with some of her things before opening the door and dropping them. Thankfully, there wasn't any glass.

Euphoria smiled as Yumi opened the door and reached out to grasp her forearm, instead of shaking the hand. Her grip was light but firm, before she let go and bounced happily. "Hello! Euphoria here, and yes, I'm new. I just moved into that big beachhouse, down there!" She pointed down the street in the direction of MeneSurf Beach. "Today's my first day here, and I wanted to get to know a few of the.. Should I call them Menewshans? That live around here. Soo..." She trailed off slightly nervously. "Erm.. Where did you move here from?"

Moa finished putting the last of her groceries away. All that was left was the muffin basket. She sighed, greeting new people wasn't always her thing, unless they were social. She decided that she might as well dress in slightly better attire, an old shirt and ripped jeans didn't exactly say "Welcome New Neighbor". She released her bird from her shoulder and told her to wait as Moa changed.

When she came out, she was dressed in a white screen tee, a pair of dark wash, wide leg jeans, and sneakers. She grabbed her muffin basket and called for Feral. "Come on, we might as greet the neighbors. So, you want to go too? That's a surprise." Feral chirped in response and flew as Moa walked. When she arrived, she saw two girls shaking hands.

Euphoria turned a half-step towards Moa. "Hello! I didn't know there was another person living here.. lovely to meet you. I'm Euphoria by the way!" She extended her hand to grasp Moa's forearm.

"Hi, I-" Yumi was cut off by the arrival of a new neighbor.
"Hello. I am Yumi. I moved here from the States. My husband should be arriving tomorrow." She threw together a greeting for the new arrival and a quick reply to the question Euphoria had asked. She added a friendly smile to the end of the sentance and held it there for a few moments before slowly letting her face relaxe into a normal position.
She wondered if either of these two were married. One looked somewhere close to her age, while the other looked a little younger. Yumi herself was a young bride.
She waited patiently for the new arrival's introduction and both of their responses to her being married already.

"Oohh.." Euphoria was kind of jealous of Yumi's marriage. She wished that she could find a working relationship. That's one of the reasons that she moved here. " I hail from the Emerald Isle, otherwise known as Ireland." she said with a lightly accented voice. She flipped her crimson hair back over her shoulder and smiled.

Euphoria twirled around and then said, "I wish you only the best with your marriage, and I hope to meet your husband sometime. You two should visit me one of these evenings. I'm almost always home. Sadly, I'm not married.. I'm single as single can be. All I've got to keep me company is Gallagher, my kitty." She frowned a bit. She was kind of a solitary person, but she still felt fairly lonely, having learned that this young, pretty woman had already found a life's partner.

"Oh, Ireland, cool! I have always wanted to travel there! Thank you. He said his plane should arrive tomorrow, so we will be sure to stop by." Yumi gave another friendly smile, then relaxed her face. Holding a smile too long had always made her cheeks hurt from the effort. "I have some pets too, two heartface foxes and a hamster." She paused for a moment, looking into her house to see if she could spot any of her pets running around.
When seeing no one, she turned back to the two woman and asked,"How old are you both if you do not mind my asking? I am 18."

"Aye, lass! I'm twenty three. Fresh out of Cork University." She seemed endlessly cheery. She heard a small "mew" and then turned. Prancing up the drive was Gallagher, the white Scottish Fold. "Ahh, Gallie! Ye shouldn't be here.. But I guess it's fine." She said as she bent down carefully to pick him up. "Haha. I hope you like cats, Yumi. He seems to like you already!" said Euphoria as Gallagher nosed away from her and over to sniff and nuzzle Yumi's arm.

Everything was so new to her, Moving to a new place, Living on her own. Was she even up for it? B.B. took a deep breath and picked her bags out of the taxis trunk. Up the steps she climbed, heading for the door of her new home. This won't be so bad, she thought as heard the laughter of children playing down the street, I just have to suck it up...and stop being such a pessimist!. She reached into her pocket and pulled out the keys, unlocking the door and pushing it open.
It was plain and empty and smelled like fresh paint and wood dust. A smile crossed B.B.'s face as it finally sank in. This was her place, all hers to make into whatever she wanted, a brand new beginning. She dropped her bags and placed her hands on her hips, nodding approvingly, "Not so bad...Not bad at all"

"Err hi, I'm Moa. Nice to meet you all." She shook Euphoria's hand gently before letting go. She had expected to just drop off the basket, but it was nice meeting some new people around these parts. She smiled and looked back at the two.

"Well it'd be kind of young for a fifteen year-old to be married, so I guess I'm single for now. I've pretty much always lived here and only visited the mainland unfortunately. I hope to see your husband soon." She turned when she heard a mew of some sort and saw a cat near Euphoria and remembered Feral. "Well, you two aren't the only ones with pets. I'd like you to meet Feral my bird!" Feral gave an enthusiastic chirp and flew around them.

D'Nomyar stepped off of the overcrowded passenger plane and took a long stretch, the first real movement since he had gotten on the plane over 10 hours ago. "That was the longest flight I've ever been on," he mumbled to himself as he grabbed his luggage off of the converyor belt and scratched his long hair, which was in disarray from the flight. Not knowing where to go, he called his wife, Yumi. He stood outside the airport while waiting for her to answer the phone.

"Eh, I don't really like cats all that much. Sorry. She does have a nice looking coat." Yumi replied haveing a sorry-I-hope-you-understand look on her face.
When Moa introduced Ferral, she said, "Oh, she has pretty feathers. Yay for all the different pets on this island."
Yumi jumped when her cell phone began ringing from her pocket. "One minute please." She said to the two women, fishing in her pocket for her phone.
She looked down at the number on the phone and smiled broadly. She flipped it open and answered, "Hello, Love! How are you doing? I am meeting some of the neighbors." She waited for her husband to reply.

Moa shrugged, the problem she ever had with cats was that Feral thought she was superior over them. "Thank you, it's fun having such a big variety here." She wondered who it was, when Yumi's cell phone rang. Was it her husband? Or some other relative? Moa inwardly shrugged and waited for her to finish. Wow, so many new people today. It's kind of fun meeting those who haven't been here before. She let out her arm and Feral flew back to her shoulder, giving a low pitched chirp.

"Are you really?" he asked with a smile in his voice. "I hope they are kindly people. Anyway, tell them I said hello," he told Yumi. "And I have a question: How do I get there?"

"Yes, they are really nice." She said in reply to his first part. She gasped when he asked her how to get there and began to spew the words out at a rather fast pace. Luckily, D'nomyar was accustomed to her talking rather fast when she became excited.
"What! Your plane has already landed! I thought you said you would not be here until tomorow! The house is about the middle in the few that are just near the edge of town. I will be waiting outside for you to see!"
She smiled happily, glad that he was coming sooner than he had anticipated.

"Whoa, Love," he said with a smile. "Slow down a bit for me. So, it's the middle house between what and what and where on what street?" he said with a laugh. "That's what I got from that," he said with another light hearted laugh. "Anyway, I was hoping you could meet me up here with a cabbie or something."

"Um, a cab? You know I don't like cabs. You could get a cab to take you to the new houses at the edge of town. I will be outside waiting for you." She said, in a normal paced tone this time.
She was still really excited about her husband getting here so early. She could not wait to show him around and show him what all she had unpacked and how she had decorated the house so far.
She was so excited, she almost forgot that there were two other woman standing on her front porch. She motioned to the set of chairs that were already sitting on her porch. She pulled the door shut behind her, checking to make sure that no animal was in the way before she did. She then took one of the chairs on the far end.

After putting her clothes away in the closet and figuring out where everything else belonged, BB picked up her cell phone and purse. Grabbing her house keys as she went, she made her way down the street. There were plenty of things in walking distance of her home, which made things much easier, since she had no car. She smiled as she watched other people carrying heavy boxes into their own new homes. "Guess I'm not so out of place after all."
