Gracie
Tap,Tap,Tap,was his shoes hitting the floor, as Gracie lays on the wet, cool, dark basement floor all she could see a shadow of a man that was a cast by the little window on the ceiling. “Wake up!!” he shouted. Gracie, a neko with purple rag dress and purple ears shouted. "Yes, father!!" said she quickly stood up.
"Here!" Father said throwing, a dress and turned and headed for the door."Wait,"Gracie said standing up, “thank you" she uttered. Father looked at her said "All i heard is the wind." and he slammed the door behind him.
Gracie had has these problems ever since her mother died from a house fire, which was caused by lighting. Gracie was only 12 years old; she had no other family member on her mother side to care for her. So because the town she lived in, don't have an adoption center, she was forced to live the forest with her mother's dairy, the only thing was recovered from the fire. Even if she didn't under most of the words she would read it. This was what her mother would hear to her as a bedtime story. Her food would be the fishes in the river. This was hard to catch because they were so silky, so it took Gracie two days and two night of non stop jumping in and out of the water to finally catch the perfect fish.Her bed was the grass and the book was her pillow. You know, Gracie was the happiness cat-girl you could find. She loved reading her mother's dairy, and count the stars at night fall. But she always wants more.
One day, Gracie was reading the dairy, and there was a picture of a man with a brown suit and a brown hat in a big house in the background, the house was like a fairy tale castle gold door and white walls. The man wasn't smiling though, he look more angry and happy. But he was a human not a neko like her. And he was might handsome.
"I guess he doesn't like picture, heee" Gracie said, in the back of the picture it said "Charles Mcfalton the third, Gracie’s father." What father!
may this a mistake. Gracie stood up and look and the picture in doubt, 'This man, my father this must be a joke’, she thought,’ If this is my father, then that mean I’m half human and i'm rich." Gracie decided to look for him. But she didn't know that He was also look for her.
Gracie' father is a wealthy man who meet her mother at a party and sweep her off her feet, and she fell in love with him. They deicide to live together, and but when her mother was pregnant with Gracie, her father told her to get rid of it because he didn't want to have a child because he was too young. Upset by this Gracie's mother had Gracie had decided to live with her mother, instead of live with Gracie’s father.
When Gracie was six, her father finally hears the news of his daughter and decides to kill her. Gracie’ mother, to avoid the killing of her daughter, Gracie’s mother decided to take a trip to the country side where they live in a cottage for 6 years. Till the cottage was destroyed by lighting.
Now, fortunately, Gracie wasn't hard to find because she was on the news for weeks as the headline was "house fire and child missing". People from the city were looking for Gracie everywhere, till she was finally found by a fisherman who received 10000 dollars for capture.
Gracie's tails swished, and she had that sensation in her stomach of anxiety. But so the City Adoption agency gave her a place to stay, a bath and purple maid dress and three square meals, including fish for a snack. Then one day, afternoon, in October turn her whole world upside-down.
Gracie heard her name begin call to the office, when she opened the door, there sat the man in the picture, her father, Charles Mc Falton the third. Gracie was so excited; she wagged her tail and smiled.
"Gracie this is your father," the CEO of the Agency. And that was the last word she ever heard from the Adoption Agency.
Gracie rode in a lemo, to her huge castle of a house. It looks just like the house in the picture. Gracie told her that she was in a fairy tales and this was all a dream. But this dream came to a end when she enter the into the mansion her father who wad said nothing, when he entered turn around and look at Gracie in her face and said that she was nothing to him then a stone on the ground and he would never love her as a daughter but than she would be his servant and she would act like a daughter went he said so.
Now 5 years later, and she attend a Boarding school, in the country. Gracie got up and ran upstairs to wash up in the maid's bathroom, an old bad plumbing bathtub with one light that swings on a wire. After greeting the cook, the maids and the butler, she ran out to her ride, which was a white lemo, the driver up the door and she greeted him as usually.
Gracie knew today was one more day that she was going to escape for this place, but first she had to save the maids, even if she was a maid there herself.
When Gracie, finally reached she usually looked around to see if anyone need and woke anyone had class in one hour.As she searching, she saw a usual faces with she greeted. Suddenly then she saw a neko, just with brown tail and ears and a beautiful blue dress. She was asleep on the floor. Gracie thought in her mind no way there is finally another neko like her!” I guess i should wake her up?” Gracie thought.
Gracie was amazed then the neko moved. ”Hey, you need help with those”. Gracie looked at the sleep neko.
"O,than.." before she could uttered any other, Gracie held her things with one hand. When the neko finally open the door and Gracie had dropped her things by her bed. "Well, hi I'm Gracie and I’m two doors down from you. i saw you sleeping on the floor and I thought I should help. Well I better go class, it starts in one hour, and I don't want to be late.” And with that she dashed out of the room and down the nearest staircase.
Gracie left and thought that today was an extraordinary day. Gracie reached fortunately just in time before the bell rang. “I wonder if I’ll ever see that girl again” Gracie said looking out the window, where she always sat.
She loves English because she enjoyed the book they read. The class hated them but Gracie loved it. She was so happy that she finally got to stay in the boarding school because she had a bed, food and friends. Something she was less fortunate to have in the mansion because the other maids were always busy that work.
