Hope sits staring out of the window, wandering what the play would be about.

Well..its a spring production. Would it be like Snow White or something?

Laexite opened the door to the Drama room. "Okay, people, places, let's go to work. Any new ideas?"

Hope thinks to herself. Do I have any idea what to do? Hmmm....no I have absolutely no idea.

A ferrety girl raised her hand. "We could do A Midsumemr Night's Dream."

A Midsummer Night's Dream. Hope feels as if she heard this title from somewhere, but is unsure. She likes the sound of the title, though.

"By Shakespeare?" Laexite asked. "Sounds good. Any other ideas?"

Hope's mind wondered on Romeo and Juliet, but it felt too typical for her. She then thoght of Highschool Musical.

"Well, what about Highschool Musical?"Hope Shyly requested.

The girls all cheered and the guys all gagged. Laexite laughed. "Let's not. I like Shakespeare though. What about...Romeo and Juliet?"

Hope says to herself...Hmm, my first choice. I guess you can't beat the classics!!

There were cheers all around. Laexite smiled. "Okay then. I'll tell Mrs. Nash and auditions will be on Friday. You can pick up scripts in the cafeteria."

Hope decided that before she auditioned for a part, she would ask Mrs. Nash if it was okay not to be in the play it self, but to do what she can to assist.

Laexite added one mroe thing. "And last year, we had some pretty good reviews. Now we have a chance to get awsome ones." She gestured to Hope.

Hope gave a friendly-shyish smile.

Laexite let that sink in. "Okay, people, cafeteria. ASAP. We need a Romeo and a Juliet."

Hope thought to herself, If I did get a part what role should it be? She only knew that Juliet and Romeo were royalty and their families were fueding. The two fall in love and they both die at the end.

A girl came up to Hope. "I think you'd be a great Juliet, if that means anything." Laexite smiled. "That's Amber. She reads minds," she whispered.

Hope thought...Duh Hope this is a school for the gifted. It would be strange if someone couldn't read minds.

She repies Amber,"Do you really think so?"

Amber nodded. "Absolutely. And that guy staring at you in English is Victor Perry. He's nice. Ask him out sometime."

Hope had a deep red blush. It reminded her that her mom couldn't wait for her her little baby to go on her first date and have her first boyfriend.

Laexite gave Amber a push. "Okay, Gossip Queen, move along."

"Hey, Laexite, what your power?"

Laexite shrugged. "Haven't really found out yet. You?"

"I realized that I have healing powers, a bit of light power which I am still learning to control and my new power is that I have angel wings."

"Cool!" Laexite walked towards the cafetreia. "So are you going to audition? I'm the director."

Well...I suppose I should. I need an extra activity."
