Laerkai is, at first glance, a finishing school for young ladies. At second glance, too. But this is a school where a girl hacking into the mainframe of NASA is everyday stuff. It's a school for spies. The teachers are all retired spies. Every day at dinner, they are expected to speak a different language for the conversation. You get the idea.

Her parents were spies as well, until they got murdered, she was brough up by her aunt until she was 13 and then she bought a house for herself and lives alone with her pet Jack Russel dog called Thorn (Named after her last name), Shes very very quiet and mysterious, never freaks out, and is always calm.

Lida walked into the first day of spy school and said, "wow this is so amazing."

Bex laughed. "This isn't fun and games, honey. This is real stuff."

Bex laughed. "I suppose, though me being in advanced classes does put a bit of a damper on that. See you at lunch."

Phoenix walked, no let me rephrase that, snuck into school. She muttered under her breath. She was late to school again! Her teachers would kill her! She looked up and found the “door� to the air vents. She opened it and jumped up. She landed in the air vent and closed the door after her. Then she crawled under she was above her classroom. She waited until her teacher’s back was turned, then she jumped out of the air vent and flipped in the air. Then she landed on the floor and closed the air vents quietly. Then she streaked to her seat. Suddenly the teacher turned around with a clipboard in her hand and began calling attendance. Phoenix let out a sigh of relief. She hadn’t been caught this time.

Bex turned a second before the teacher. "Nice save," she whispered to Phoenix.

--> Lacy watched as a girl with gold hair jumped out from the air vents above. After smirking and muttering, "Showoff.." under her breath, she raised her hand as it was called for attendance. It was the first day of school and Lacy began wondering what they could learn today. Putting a strand of hair behind her ear she began glancing at the students around her. They all looked pretty regular, but she had yet to find out who they were or what they were capable of.

Bex raised her hand for attendance, then pulled out her notes for Covert Operations.

Lily sat quietly in class doing her best to write notes. She also wondered why her parents sent her to a spy school.

Phoenix smiled at Bex. "Thanks."

Bex stifled a laugh. She couldn't afford detention. "Not that it would have been a problem. You'd probably get extra credit."

Pheonix laughed lightly and quietly. "Maybe so..." she said, "Besides, the cameras probably caught it anyway." she said indicating to the hidden specks on the walls and in corners.

Storm muttered to herself as she walked to her first period class, late. She couldn't believe that she got held up in the office because they messed up and didn't have her down again for school this year. 'Those people are getting forgetful apparently, so much for being ex-spies.'She thought as she walked. She turned the corner and walked up to the class room, yanking the door open. "Sorry." She mumbled to the teacher handing her a slip, she turned around to see a bunch of girls in class already, whispering to one another. She sat down in one of the open seat and pulled out a sketch book and began sketching out her new idea she had for a gadget that she was developing in her mind.

Bex laughed."Those old things? I deactivated them in seventh grade. They're just for show." Turning to Storm, "Nice sketch. YOu do have one thing wrong, though."

Storm stopped and turned her head slowly to the girl she recognized from last year as Bex. She raised her eyebrow, "Oh really now?" She inquired. "And what do you believe is wrong with my far-away contact lenses design?" She angled the sketch towards Bex so she could get a better look at it.

"You forgot to add waterproofing, unless I'm mistaken. Binocontacts don't work otherwise, since you have to put them in solution to keep them clean." Bex shrugged. "At least from what I can see. It's not done yet, I know."

Pheonix shrugged, "They fixed them last week." she said.

Bex turned back to Phoenix. "Really? Hmm, so that's why they sent us all on missions. And I call myself a spy."

Pheonix smiled and guietly chuckled a bit. "It's okay. We all make our mistakes." she said.

Bex shook her head. "Don't you learn anything in Culture and Assimilation? Mistakes could mean death."
