L'Ermitage High School is a co-ed boarding school built in England in the 40's. L'Ermitage is known for it's high education level and sophisticated atmosphere. A wide variety of classes are offered.

The building is three stories high. The first, or bottom, story is entry way, lobby, rec room, music practice rooms, an indoor pool, and the cafeteria, which is very similar to a food court you would see in mall. The second story only consists of classrooms. The third floor are where the dorms are. There is a large garden, forest, and courtyard behind the school building. There are also 3 tennis courts, 4 basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts, and a rugby field.

Bio: Lucy came from a wealthy family. She was doing very well in school, a 4.2 GPA, until she began hanging out with the wrong crowd. Eventually, she stole her fathers car, got drunk, and drove it into a lake. Her parents immediately cut her off and sent her to L'Ermitage, hoping it would change Lucy for the better and bring out her academic skills once more.

Personality: Lucy can be shy, but usually isn't. She is very outgoing, and still resents her father a little for sending her away, although she is looking forward to living away from them for a bit.

Lucy slammed the door of her Hyundai Santa Fe shut, and picked up her many bags of luggage. She walked slowly up to one of the front doors of the school and set her bags down. She pulled the door opened and, keeping the door open with her foot, picked her bags up again. When she walked in the school, she found herself in a large room with beautiful marble flooring and many crystal chandeliers. How old is this place? she wondered after noticing the wooden railing on the marble stairs.

Lucy walked up to a large counter at the back of the room. When she reached it, a lady, who seemed way too happy, greeted her. "Are you visiting or a new student?" she asked, smiling.

"I'm a new student." Lucy replied. "Would you happen to know what dorm I'm in?" she asked.

"Sure. Last name?" The lady asked.

"D-, as in David, a-n-i-e-l-s."

"Dorm 5." The lady said, still smiling, and held out a golden key. Lucy took the key and picked up her bags and walked around until she found an elevator. She pushed the "up" button and entered the elevator. She pushed the button with the number 3 on it, and waiting to for the elevator to start moving. When the elevator doors opened, she picked up her bags and walked down the hallway. When she found dorm number 5, she unlocked the door and entered. She immedietly walked over to the bed closest to the window and set her bags down next to it. Free from her luggage, she jumped onto the bed and spread out, resting her head on the pillow.

Bio: Tyler had been smart for his age, though never used it. He tended to always slack off or hang out with friends rather than do actual work. For this he tended to get grounded or argue with his parents. This carried from elementary school to middle school where the only time he ever actually did work was in English class for writing, but that didn't cut things for his parents. His grades hit an all time low when he came home with a C and D average, which was why he was switched into L'Ermitage the following year.
Personality: Tyler is lazy and not very social, unless it's with friends that he likes. When you do get him out, he can be fun loving and also outgoing, but to certain people that tick him off he is sarcastic, spiteful, and icy. He doesn't have a spit fire personality, though finds those people funny. To new people he is introverted and sometimes ignores them completely

Outside however, Ashliegh Velman was taking her luggage out of the family's car.
"I still don't believe you guys are sending me here' she told her mother.
"It's the only school we can afford and besides, you will enjoy yourself" her mum said, brushing her fingers though Ashliegh's hair.
"Isn't it easier for me to be home schooled?? mum?"
"yes but I can't afford for you and your brother"
"Well, this is it then. I'll see around summer time" Ashliegh said as she spotted her dad came back from putting her bags inside. She was trying hard not to cry but failed. Her parents drove away from their youngest daughter. She was alone.

Lucy saw the poor girl out her window and went outside to meet her.

Tyler got out of his family's mini van, walking to the back to get out his luggage. He took his two suitcases, sulking. "Relax sweetie, you'll fit in just fine. Besides this is a good chance for you to improve your grades." His mom hugged him before giving him a kiss on the cheek. He kept silent, though when she finally went back to the car, he put down a suitcase to wave at her and dad. "Son, you're going to have to improve your grades or you'll need to repeat the twelfth grade." They drove away, leaving him to walk inside, luggage in hands to brave the old school.

Ashliegh turned around and saw Tyler. He can tell that she has been crying.

Tyler walked in, seeing a girl there with a tear-streaked face. Was she crying earlier? In a rare moment of compassion he walked up to her, putting his luggage down for a minute. "So why were you sent here? Doesn't seem like you'd want to be here."

"It's my mum. She doesn't want me to be home schooled" replied Ashliegh, still sniffing

Tyler nodded, though could see why they wouldn't want her home schooled. "My parents sent me here too, though it was 'cause of my grades." His hair dangled over his eyes, hiding most of his expression, though a hint of empathy could be found.

"Oh? I just scraped though my year last year. I know I can't past yr 12 this year" and by that though Ashliegh started to cry again.

Tyler winced as the girl started to cry even more, such trouble for a girl that wasn't even an adult yet. He sighed. "Don't feel sad. Just...think of it as a fresh start or a chance to meet new people." He was running out of generic responses and sighed, taking out his notebook and flipping through it. He found a page full of random quotes he got from friends, finding one in particular. "Think of it this way: As long as you learn it doesn't matter what grades you get"

"Thanks for trying to cheer me up but they're laugh at my accent" Ashliegh replies with tears streaming down her face.

Tyler sighed, shaking his head. This girl had a load of things to complain about. He walked closer, but wasn't extremely close. "School kids make fun of everything, but they probably mean it in good humor. Even if they are trying to be mean, you just need to ignore them." He hoped that this would make her feel somewhat better, since his conscience was nagging him.

"No, it's not that, I moved over here a few weeks ago" replied Ashliegh though her sniffs, "I don't really born here."

Tyler nodded, now knowing why she wasn't used to it. He sighed again, trying to pull off a fake, reassuring smile. He didn't say anything else, hearing the girl's sniffs. "I see."

"I was orginaly born and raised up in NZ so that's why I want to be home-schooled" Ashliegh replied, still crying.

More tears. Tyler refused to sigh a third time, brushing the hair out of his eyes to show a slightly concerned expression. "Just because you're an immigrant, it doesn't mean you should have to be home schooled. There's plenty of benefits to going to an actual school."

Lucy approached the crying girl. "I actually like accents. I've always wanted one." Lucy said, smiling. She stuck out her hand. "I'm Lucy Daniels." she said. "I was sent here because I know how to party. But hey, when life gives you lemons... Mine as well make some friends while I'm here."
