(setsu just happened to run up a bit ago and, what was it, oh yes. spoke directly to you. please read that part and edit accordingly.)

Zane gulped, staring at the ground. It was an awfully long drop down and he didn't like hats that much at all. He curled up, grabbing hold of Megumi's arm with his free hand, watching the every shrinking ground.

Autumn liced his lips, ingesting som green goo. There was nothing left to kill. He began to run to the ship, clambering beneath it as soon as he reached it, digging through the sand. He stopped, eyeing a charred bit of meat, fingers poking from it. One of the fingers seemed to be revuilding itself slowly. He sucked in air and began to dig faster.

Megumi smiled down at him reassuringly. "I won't drop you, I promise." She said to him, turning to Setsu right after, "That goes for you too."

Silvian stopped for a second, panting, and wiped the grime, goo, and sweat from his brow. He happened to glance up and saw the demon girl, megumi, carrying the basilisk from yesterday, and a girl he hadn't met yet. Autumn continued to frantically dig for his twin beside him. Silvian hefted his scythe onto his shoulder and then swung it down, plunging it into the ground. The resulting blast loosened about ten feet of surrounding soil and would make digging easier.

Setsu smiled back up at megumi,
"Oh I'm not worried, one of the perks of being a ghost is not being able to die or get injured."

"Oh yeah, sorry I forgot you were dead." Megumi replied in an equally cheerful voice. A large blast made her look down and saw two of her teachers. Ashrinda, however, was missing. Megumi furrowed her eyebrows in worry. Where was her cousin? "I'm going down, hang on." She announced as she started flying back down to the teachers.

Silvian rested again, now thoroughly drained, and saw megumi begin to descend. He cocked an eyebrow in question until his gaze was caught by something in the distance behind her. Silvian's mouth dropped in shock and horror as he saw thousands of ships flying through a hole similar to the one the first ship had come through. Suddenly the sound caught up with the image and a loud bang/whoosh, like when a plane breaks the sound barrier, was heard. The ships were vaguely fish like, but were so high in the air they were about the size of ants. The silence was broken by static and a woman's voice coming over the crashed ship's radio (which was, by some miracle, unbroken XP). The message was broken and garbled, but she said something about 'the largest covenant fleet' she'd ever seen. Silvian cocked his head to the side.
"Covenant?"

Autumn stopped digging for only a second, turning to look at teh ship. He turned back to digging, finally able to pull what would've been his sister out of the sand. He sat there, panting and rocking back and forth, the leg in Silvian's hand jerking toward her. "You idiot..." he murmered, hugging his sister close to him. "You need to start thinking. I can't do it for you all the time..." It was the first, rational thing he had said during the entire attack.

Zane grumbled, unconvinced. But the ground began to get closer and he relaxed, letting out a sigh of relief.

Silvian wrenched his gaze from the massive fleet and set the leg down near Ashrinda's body.
"She's hurt bad... Didn't lord lucifer say we need all the sins assembled to heal something like this?"

"Comepletely, yes..." Autumn said, still holding his sister. "Where are they? Gluttony, Sloth, and Envy haven't even been awakened yet...they should be feeling this, but even Lord Lucifer said it would be considerably longer before they awoke..." He hugged his sister closer, placing his lips on her charred forehead, his hands morphing back into hands.

Anthony had hid himself nearby, currently under a low hanging rock. He just lay there, trying not to panic.

Silvian frowned, he had not been informed of this.
"What about pride? where is he?"

(O.O I'm talking about myself behind my back XD)

"Probably thinks it's below him...that smug fucker.." Autumn hissed, eyes angry. He sighed, knowing he was being irrational, but it was a possible scenario. Pride was, in fact, prideful.

Silvian leaned on his scythe, the drain of his recent spells was taking it's toll.
"I'm not so sure. I am not even related to her by blood and it still felt like a piece of my soul had been ripped from my body. If I wasn't right next to her I'm pretty sure it would be almost impossible to ignore..."
Silvian wondered what pride was like, He hadn't met any of the other sins yet, except for Autumn and Ashrinda.

Autumn hugged Ashrinda close to him, looking to Silvian. He closed his eyes, panting his lips on his sister's charred forehead, rasping breaths beginning to escape her mouth. Her lungs were reforming. It would be enough to keep her alive.

Megumi finally landed next to the three teachers, putting her two passengers down first. The sight of the injured Ashrinda made her gasp. "What happened?!" She cried as she ran to the two twins' side.

Silvian glanced down at her sadly,
"We think she was hit by the ship... I don't know for sure, but I think we need all the sins assembled to deal with something this bad..."

"We do..." Autumn said, eyeing thew newcomers sadly. "But...they're not even in this world. Who knows how long it'll be before they get here..."

Megumi stared at her dying cousin helplessly. What could she do? Then, an idea popped in her head. "I... might be able to summon the other sins." She announced hesitantly, "But I need time."

Autumn blinked at her hopefully, a bit of relief on his pained expression. "Please...if you can...please..." he whsipere,d buring his face into his sister's scorched hair, her bretahing still ragged.

Edanieal la on the beach, naked and slightly bruised his mouth hung open and his eyes open but not seeing. He had a goofy look on his face, slightly between fear love agony and pleasure. His messy hair parted as a flood parisite tried to purtrued it's slimy little body into his spinal cord.

Silvian lifted an eyebrow at Megumi,
"You could really do that? wait, would we save time if I helped?"

The disgusting creature finaly succeded and began to lift up Edanials body, one limb at a time. He got op slowly, head lolling a bit. The goofy look still on his face. His legs were like planks as the flood made him walk. His head bounced a little against his shoulder. The flood began to steer the body inland.

"No, only royal blood could can do this spell." Megumi explained to Silvian, "Just make sure nothing hurts Ashrinda or me." She walked a few feet away from the teachers with an emotionless expression on her face. Anxiety and fear swirled inside her though for she had never succeeded in this spell. She stopped when she was at a good distance and took a deep breath.

The demoness' nails on her left hand grew to a foot long in a matter of seconds. In a flash, she cut the fingers of her right hand off. Blood spurted out in gushers, but Megumi showed no pain on her face as she traced a circle around her with the red liquid. Once she was done, she mumbled something softly. The decapitated fingers of her right hand healed almost instantly, leaving no trace of a wound. She then bent down close to the line of blood around her and softly touched it. It began to glow a soft red, growing in light and color slowly. Megumi also began to change as slowly as the circle. Her eyes started shifting to a darker color as her wings began to grow. She was in a trance, but her voice resonated across the clearing without her mouth moving.

"Something is amiss. Make sure it does not interrupt me Demon of Wrath."

Autumn hummed softly, voice barely audible in the smoky confusion. He was humming the lullaby Ashrinda had loved when they were little, unaware of what they were and loving their parents. It had been her favorite lullaby.

Silvian smiled,
"Then it would be best if I left... I am only good for attacking, not defending. you want Alexi..."
Silvian closed his red eyes, and Alexi opened his bright pink eyes. Alexi lifted his hand and a violin materialized from the shadows. Alexi turned his soft gaze upon Autumn,
"That melody... what is it called?"
Alexi continued to stare at autumn inquiringly, but he rested the violin on his shoulder and began to play, matching the tune of the lullaby.
"My songs hold more power if I know the name..."

"It's called 'Tomorrow,'" Autumn said, not even breaking the tune that floated about him and his sister. "I just want to make her as comfortable as possible. Right now..."
