Bio: Uri grew up in a small Romanian farming village. He spent most of his time either practicing his studies in his room, because there wasn’t a school nearby, or helping his family tending to chores on the farm. His life was simple but he liked it, though he had no interest in taking over the farm as his father hoped.
Strange occurrences began happening to or around Uri whenever he would get upset of things didn’t work out as he had hoped. Little things like wet or green wood catching fire, doors slamming shut when there was no wind, or water shooting from the water pump without anyone being around it or being pumped. Since the strange events started to happen Uris parents always managed to come up with logical reasons to explain it away. But unfortunately a stranger happened to be passing by one afternoon while Uri was hard at work trying to shoe a horse, as he was nailing it on his hammer slipped and he accidentally hurt himself. The stranger, who seemed to be watching Uri, saw a hay bale explode. A few days after that he received a letter inviting him to a new school.

Bio:Kari is just a normal school girl at theprivate school for girls. She's a wonderful cheerleader, popular, beautiful, and happy with her boyfriend, Kurt. One day, during a football game, the other girls fail to catch her and she smashes her skull on the pavement. She dies apon impact. She wakes up not long after in a small room and her parents are standing over her. She's alive, but she's still dead..she's been admitted to a new school for people with supernatural 'gifts'

Uri sits at the desk in front of the only window in the bedroom given to him when he first got to this new school. The ambassador that came to his home in Romania tried to explain some of what he was be facing when he first got here and as much as he and his parents understood Uri had no idea it would be anything like this.

Since Uri first got here a week ago hes seen both girl and guy students hard at work practicing their craft. Some of them can just focus on something and make it float or change it some how while others have an easier time pushing their abilities through a wand. Either way the result is the same. Everyone here can do magic.

Moving to sit on top of his desk Uri moves to down to the court yard his window looks out onto, his room is on the third floor.

Kari is still dazed as she begins to understand what has happened to her. She looks in a mirror and sees a pale face staring back. As a living girl, she had a nice tan, but now she was white as a sheet. She had found that she could walk through walls, float, shapeshift, go invisible, and cast spells. The principal had told her this. He knew what she was and how she would be now. He knew way more than Kari did, but chose to give her the information over time. She couldn't take it all at once. She remembered the fall. The girls had been glancing at some football meathead who was quite sexy. He was from the other team and they were completely distracted and she was up in the air. She rembered seeing the others staring at her and screaming. Then it went black. She looked at her schedule. She had been told to meet a girl outside her room to show her to class. It was called 'spell studies'

The old fashioned metal alarm clock on Uris night stand went off. He sighed and looked back at it, 7:30, he had a half hour to get to his first class of the day. He climbed off his desk, turned off his alarm clock and then grabbed his books as he headed out the door.

Even with all of the amazing things hed already seen since getting here every new strange thing still awed him. He smiled at the other boys as they ran through the hall, also headed for first class. It was explained to Uri when he first arrived that all of the dorms shared one dorm while the girls shared another on the other side of the court yard. This way there was no need to worry about bumping into a girl on the way to the bathroom, which was shared by the entire floor and in Uris opinion it was bigger then his house back home.

Kari felt rather intimidated as she walked beside the girl to her first class. There were many strange people and other odd creatures. She even saw a boy that had cat ears and a tail. She sat in the class and wondered what she'd be learning in here. It would probably be more interesting than public school back home. As she walked in kids stared. The teacher even did. She said that she was the first undead guest they'd had in a while. Kari felt upset. She'd always been so popular and these kids saw her as a freak.

Being new or a first year as he heard some of the other boys call him his class was filled with other students were also new here. Uri did his best to be polite to everyone regardless of how they looked, as his parents had instructed him to do.

He sat at his assigned desk in spell studies looking around at the other students as they came in and made their way to their desk. Everyone here seemed to already have friends but Uri didnt no one had even bothered to talk to him since he got here even though he had tried to make an effort and said hello or good morning to people as they past him in the halls.

Uri spotted a pale skinned girl standing in the door way of the room looking upset and a little scared as she looked around the room. Uri smiled at her when she looked at him.

Kari saw another kid looking at her, but he wasn't looking at her with hatred like the others were. He seemed nice. She waved hello at him. She went and sat on a desk beside him. She hoped maybe they could be friends. "Hi I'm Kari." She ask shyly and held out a hand for him to shake. Her hands felt like ice since she was dead. She noticed she was floating and sat back down.

Uri wiped his hand on his shirt and then shook her hand. "I am Uri." he said watching her as she floated out of her chair. "Please I dont mean to be rude. I have seen so many new people since I got here. May I ask what you are?" he asked still smiling at her hoping he didnt just offend her.

She smiled sadly. "I'm a phantom. I died when I was cheerleading at a football game. The others were drooling over some boy and failed to catch me." it really was a horrible way to go. She hadn't even been able to say good bye to her loved ones and friends. Her parents had left her here and didnt want to see her ever agian. She couldn't blame them. Who would want to see a ghost? She felt so out of place. She wished her soul could rest like it was supposed to, bit she wasn't lucky at all.

"Im sorry..." he says not sure what else to say but smiles kindly at her. "Maybe here you can find some new friends." he whispered to her as the teacher made her way to the front of class and then class started.

She smiled at him. Maybe she could make some friends here. She'd never had trouble making friends in the past. She wrote him a note. "Yeah maybe I can make some friends. So are you as nervous about being new here as I am?" she really was kind of afraid to be at this school. It was very differant.

Taking her note he tucked it under his desk not wanting to get in trouble on his first day of class. He looked back at her and nodded.

After about a five minute lecture the entire class was instructed to pair off and start by practicing a simple starter levitation spell. Uri looked around the room all the other students paired off fast. He looked back at Kari "I guess that leaves us..." he mumbles quietly he couldnt help how nervous he was. He scooted his desk closer to hers and for the rest of class the two practiced the spell that was written on the board at the front of the room.

By the end of class there were some people to figured it out and some people who didnt. Uri couldnt help being upset with himself, hed been one of the ones whod failed though it looked like Kari had managed to make a piece of paper on her desk float a little. "good job" he said trying to be happy for her when class was over and everyone was leaving to head for their next class.

Kari frowned as Uri seemed to have had a bit of trouble with the enchantmeat thay had done in the last class. She saw she had the same schedule as him and they had all the same classes. She tried to explain it to him in the next class before it started. She had found it to be relitivly easy when she got the hang of it. She wanted him to get it too. They also had a spell for this class. It was to tramsorm a pencil into a figurine. Her's transformed at her touch,

He smiled at her. "Your good at this." he whispers to her as he continued to struggle with his spell.

The rest of their classes where spells were assigned seemed to go about the same. Uri and Kari would partner up when it was requested by the teacher that they brake into pares. He couldnt help getting down on himself as it seemed like everyone but Uri was figuring the spells.

The last class of the day ends and all the other students make their way out of the room all of them practicing their newly learned spells on just about everything they come across. Uri smiles at Kari. "Sorry I guess I dont make a very good partner...I guess I better go practice for tomorrow." he gathers his books and goes out into the hall and starts to make his way out to the courtyard.

Kari stared after him. "Ok! Well see you tomorrow then." she called after him. That was her only friend she'd made so far and she was reluctant to see him go. She headed back to her dorm and sat on her bed feeling a wee bit lonely. She began to unpack her belongings and places them neatly in a small closet that was in the back of her room.

Uri got to his room and hunched over his desk. He focused on a pencil that laid on his desk as he practiced his spells.

He got so lost in his studies that he only stopped at his grumbling stomach began to echo through his hollow room. He looked at the clock on his night stand, 5:45pm, dinner ended at 6. He quickly jumped up and ran to the cafeteria hoping he could get there before the locked the door and also hoped there would be something left to eat.

He lost his footing just as he was about to open the door to the cafeteria and ended up sending the door slamming into the wall, drawing everyones attention. He blushed and tried to smile as everyone looked at him, a few people pointed and laughed at him as he made his way over to the food line. There was little left in the heated trays. He grabbed a tray, a plate and silverware and then quickly piled food onto his plate as the people who worked behind the food counter started cleaning up.

A few minutes later he walked through the cafeteria a few people pointed and laughed at him again as he headed for the door.

Kari sat him down beside her and smiled. It made everyone shut up as they feared her. "Don;t worry. I won't let them Pick on you."

He smiles at her. "Thanks." he said putting his tray down and moving it so she could help her self. "Are you hungry?"

She smiled."Naw. I already ate. I saved you a brownie. It was the last one." she put it on his tray. She was happy she had a friend. He was so nice to her."so why don't you think I'm scary? I mean, I am a dead girl and you don't been seem nervous. Most of the kids act like I'll kill them all on their sleep." she frowned a bit as kids made sure not to sit anywhere near her. It made her very angry.

"You seemed nice when we meet this morning." he says looking around at the other kids as they whispered and pointed he was starting to get upset. "Its still nice outside do you mind if we go outside?" he asks looking at her and picks up his tray as he gets up.

She followed him. It was annoying how people were looking at them. She guessed the dark black clothes she wors didn't help. Tomorrow she'd wear the brightest thing she owned. She sat beside him outdoors. It really was nice.

He put the tray between them letting her have some if she wants anything. He looks around the court yard there were a couple of groups of kids scattered around talking and kidding around. Uri gaggles down some of the snacks and then looks at Kari. "Please dont get made..." he says not sure if he should really say this. "I saw American movies about the undead. One movie said they drink blood and another one said they eat brains....do you do that? I will be your friend either way Im just curious." he looks at her hoping he didnt just upset her.

She giggled softly. "No,no I don't do anything like that. I'm a person that can turn into a ghost, a phantom. I eat food just like you." to prove her point she ate a peice of the brownie. It was soft and gooey.

He couldnt help looking relieved by her answer. "Oh ok good." he relaxed. "How do you like it here so far?" he asked eating more.
