Simon made a small sound in the back of his throat to show that he was listening and glanced up from his laptop screen at Dani's offer. Did he want his memories back...? That was a hard question to answer. He looked back down, clicking a few keys. True...he was curious about the person he had been before...but was he willing to really find out? What if he didn't like what he found out? "Not sure..." Hmm...he clicked on his e-mail and skimmed through the most recent e-mail from his agent.

he opened the attached file and skimmed over the jobs his agent had accepted for him while he had been in juvie. A surprising amount of people still wanted to hire him despite his criminal records...something about being a rare beauty or something. Eh, whatever paid his bills.

"I model." Simon replied distractedly. "Got out of juvie recently...checking my schedule..."

Roza stopped and looked at him when she heard his phone go off and looked at him, and waited until he was done then before she could say anything he started going on about some job he just got. She sighed and smirked saying “Well then I guess this is where we go our separate ways seeing as you have a job to go do.” She turned and started walking away it seemed that it was easy to get rid of him seeing as he had a job to go do and she was fine with it seeing as she could get moving again. She couldn’t wait to get home and forget that this day ever happened.

"W-Well, I w-won't d-do an-anything un-until you d-decide," Dani replied. Entering someone's mind was already hard for Dani considering her ethical standards, but doing it without permission was tantamount to rape. Not that it was pleasurable or anything! Just that it wasn't right.

"O-Oh... D-Do you m-mind if I-I j-join you s-sometime?" Dani stammered again, staring away from Simon, suddenly fascinated by an abstract painting on the wall. "N-Not t-to j-juvie, o-of c-course!" His criminal record really didn't surprise the petite teen. He had that air of rebellion around him that spoke of resistance to any rule. Unfortunately, Dani knew she wasn't worth the trouble, and went out of her way to avoid being so to anyone.

"D-Do y-you have a-another c-computer, S-Simon?" she asked into the silence. She wanted to look up a few things. Maybe use a bit of her power to convince someone at the United States government offices to give her a bit of information concerning their bounty. While that distance was usually impossible for her, the Internet allowed her to connect with people as if they were in the same city.

"Im going to need help.....unless your afraid of alittle fire-fighting." he said.

Simon made another sound of acknowledgment as he clicked another few keys. He didn't seem to even notice Dani's uncomfortableness with the situation as he worked. A she continued to stammer, he looked up and finally chuckled.

"You...in juvie? No, i don't think it'd work out..." he said, his tone wry. "Yea...you could tag along for the modeling stuff...might bore you though." he added, as he finally finished with whatever it was he had been doing and hit send to teh e-mail he had written up.

He stood up and hefted the laptop in his arms carefully. "I've got another one in my room...come on..." He led the petite girl down the hall and opened the door to his room, setting the laptop down on his bed before going to his desk and moving the magazines and packets of photos away to reveal yet another laptop sitting on the desk. "This work for you?"

Roza looked back at him and sighed thinking that she was going to regret this later she then turned back to him saying "Fine I'll help but I can't go out there with these wings people would see that I am different. Oh and I can't fire a gun either never really had the need for one so never bothered leaing." She walked back to him hoping to change his mind about inviting her along when she felt the pain in her back as her wings dissapeared. She sighed again thinking just so thongs don't go my way damn wings I wish I could control them. With that she stared at him waitin to see his response.

"You wont need to fire a gun.....Tell me......how Experienced are you in Causing Distractions or Diversions?" he asked. He had a plan on how to get in, out, and away with his targt. "Before you say anything, if you do this for me, il pay ya half of what im supposed to get, ya dig? the pays 20 grand." he said.

"Th-Thanks," Dani said, happy she had been invited to something. Most people tended to dislike her for her shyness, not that she tried to make friends of course. She couldn't say she deserved them. Shaking herself from her thoughts, she felt out over the city, eleven different mental signatures jumped out at her for being familiar, but for the life of her, she couldn't remember where she had felt them before.

When Simon told her he did in fact have another laptop, she followed obediently to his room, which was considerably darker than the living room. The shades were drawn tight, allowing only a little light through. Glancing around at all the photos, Dani made a small sound of amazement. Simon had to be pretty popular. "Y-Yeah, th-this will w-work," Dani responded, clambering onto the bed and opening the computer before turning it on.

Simon fell onto the bed beside Dani, laying on his side as he pulled the laptop he had been using closer to himself and typing with one hand, propping his head up with the other. While Dani was doing whatever she was doing, he would need to do a little more research. Just who were those people that had attacked them in the restaurant?

As he was skimming through some web pages, Simon's hand froze on the touchpad, the mouse hovering over an article. For some reason the situation sounded extremely...familiar...but when he checked the date it was written about...it was so long ago...World War II to be exact. That didn't seem right...he clicked it open and began reading, his muscles tensing with each word he read. He glanced up to see what site he was on and mentally cursed when he realized it was a government website. So...the government really was more messed-up then they were led to believe. As he returned to the article a shot of pain passed through him and he bit down hard on his lip, breaking the skin.

An image appeared in his head, a memory possibly, bright lights, figures in labcoats, and pain. Lots of pain. His wings ached as if recalling when they'd first grown out of his back. Simon paled considerably before the flash of images finally ended and he took a deep breath, slightly startled by the taste of blood in his mouth.

Roza looked at him thinking about distractions that wouldn't bring attention to her, she nodded then said "I could think of something that might help, but I don't know how go I am since I try not to draw attention." She didn't mind that he was going to pay her she just didn't know how well it would go. She was glad that she didn't have to fire a gun and if her distrations didn't work she could always resort to acid or screaming anyways.

"Just a Bit of Havoc around their base, get their Attention away from they're boss. Once they are Distracted, I can sneak in there, knock out the little bits of gaurds in there thats left, then I can Disable their boss and bring him to the car" he said. It was a bit of a Simple plan, so they wouldnt see this coming.

With a sigh of mild relief as she was set down, AK leant against the wall, grimacing slightly as each of the bruises started to protest loudly. As she rubbed her arm slightly, she glanced up at the guy who had helped carry her out in surprise. "Huh? What about staying together? Safety in numbers? Hey! Where're you going?" She called in confusion, watching the other vanish. Blinking in surprise, AK frowned before sliding down the wall to sit on the ground, needing to rest her muscles a little. Clearly, even if nothing was broken, they were certainly bruised.

After a couple of seconds, AK lifted her gaze to stare up at Akio, a faint smile on her lips. "Hey... Thanks for helping back there, I have this thing of personal space y'know?" She mumbled with a sheepish smile. Brushing strands of hair back, she turned to inspect her wings for any tears, glad there didn't seem to be. "Hey... I think we should stick together Akio... I know this is probably crazy and stuff... But who ever was saying it was right, it's better not to be on our own with... Strange people shooting at us and ceilings collapsing on everyone" She laughed weakly, tucking her wings back in rapidly. "Oh, and thanks for finding me earlier" AK added as a sudden after thought, shrugging slightly.

(okay; can everyone head to the ooc for just one minute and tell us where everyone is at the moment? Before I post and end up ignoring people that maybe still in the area where AK and Akio are?)

Surfing the web, Dani was all but unaware of what Simon was doing next to her, intent on accessing the confidential government files. As she worked around the firewall, she chewed her lip. She had forgone her earlier plan, and resorted to simply hacking the system. It really was simple enough. She had even masked her point of origin; they would have a hard time tracing it to this computer.

Suddenly, she gasped, having been pulled into the memory with Simon. Painful thoughts could do that, especially when they were this painful. Struggling, she managed to shut off the memory, flinging it to the recesses of Simon's mind where it would have a hard time bothering him. "A-Are y-you o-okay?" she stammered, breathing heavily. Had they all come from a lab like that? If so, why was Dani the only one without animal properties?

Roza looked at him then said “Alright then I can do that no problem, but what car I mean why would you be in an alley way if you had a car that could just drive away in?” She sighed then continued on by saying “When do you plan to start, soon might be a good idea so that I can go home.” She smirked at this and then waited for him to reply.

Noticing how a couple of the people had left the alleyway already to go their separate ways, Akio kept his eyes darting left and right at all the people that still remained in the alleyway; AK and another female seemed to still be here in this alleyway and he had remembered hearing that one of those people that they all recognized just like one another suggested that they all stick together rather than going their separate ways. Although just seeing how many of them left the area kind of got rid of that idea as it seemed. So right as he stood there, noticing how AK made her way right over toward him only to end up thanking him for helping her since she had a thing about personal space. Giving a little nod in agreement, he simply knew that the fact of seeing how sit down by the wall like that meant that she was probably a little in pain if not exhausted and probably even both. So hearing right after that they should stick together since it was weird enough to have strange people coming out of nowhere shooting at them as like a joke she seemed to put as the ceiling falling. Nodding lightly to her idea, he simply turned his attention to the other girl in the alleyway. "Well? are you in for it too? We all stick together?"

"Um, I may prefer to use my Speed, but I can Drive, ya know?" he said. the shook his head "Even after this, Im not leaving you alone. Though you look like you can handle yourself in a fire fight, some guy might get lucky." he said "I wont leave you to a doomed fate." he continued, leading her to a Car. It was a 2010 Dodge Hybrid.

Stalking out of the kitchen, Chris moved closer to what little of the group remained in the alleyway. I will join you. A little out of the blue, I know, but I can be of use and am also in danger of losing my life to these... monsters. And I use that term loosely. His ears twitched anxiously as he awaited their reply. Running his clawed fingers down the back wall of the restaurant, leaving a deep gash in the wall. He wanted to be accepted into their group, so he might finally fit in somewhere, but his sudden appearance might dampen his chances, being a shock to the others.

Roza followed him to his car she didn’t really care what it looked like as long as he had a car. She sighed then said “I kind of figured you cold drive once you mentioned car,” she then listened to his other comment and was a little shocked at what he said. First off she didn’t really want to get involved in a fire fight and would most likely just try to get away and second how he said he wouldn’t leave her alone. She rolled her eyes then said “You know you are going to have to leave me alone sometimes I have to go to school still and you can’t come since you don’t go there.”

"What school you go to? I go to Shantoteto Academy. This Sniper for hire job pays for my tutition." he said. He mainly got into the job when he got into school so he could pay for a education. It payed well, and it was fun at times, he also met a bunch of Great dames. "Anyway, before Iget to ask, whats your name?" he said.

Simon broke from his thoughts and turned over, careful with his still throbbing wings, probably a side-effect...muscle memory or something then. His light eyes stared at Dani for a moment and then darted to the computer screen to see what she was doing. He could have laughed if he didn't have a mouthful of blood. He propped himself up and then slid onto the floor, heading into the adjoined bathroom and spitting the blood into the sink, rinsing his mouth out with water and then examining his split lip in the mirror. Hm...nothing he could do about it but hope it's heal as quickly as his other wounds did.

"A memory won't hurt me." he said when he finally reemerged. Already the pain was receding, it hadn't been real pain at any rate. "Though curiosity seems to be pulling at me...do you know how long you could get locked up for what you're doing? Doesn't stop me of course, but one slip up..." he shrugged, he'd made a mistake once while hacking, it was amongst one of his first offenses.

Sighing at his mention that he was fine, Dani looked back to her computer screen. A twenty-five digit password. Hmm. Tapping into her reservoir of psychic energy, Dani focused, literally seeing the keystrokes that made up the password. It had something to do with residual psychic energy or something. She could follow someone by the same method.

"Uh... y-yeah, b-but I c-can be v-very p-persuasive," Dani said, smiling at his concern. If need be, she could make a person turn themselves in for a crime they didn't even know had happened. Granted, she never would. She would just place the suggestion, firmly of course, that she couldn't have done it.

Maybe part of the reason she liked being around Simon so much was that he didn't want her to be anything but herself. It felt nice being accepted. Smiling giddily, Dani decided to send their other allies a message. "Hey, Akio, she sent, frowning in concentration. "Head to 196 Wallive Avenue. Then head to apartment 187. It's mine. You guys can crash there until we can meet up again."

Kat looked over a Akio for a moment and then at the other girl that was with her. Their numbers had seemed to dwindle quite rapidly, and she wondered where the others had even run off to. "Yes," she answered the guy. "It is our best option though the others, I suppose, didn't believe so." Just then another guy appeared in the alleyway, and normally she would have been shocked by his appearance but nothing could surprise her after all that had happened today. Then she looked to Akio again, not sure if she was ready to trust this new person, he had not been in the heat of it all like they had and she wondered what he was doing here. "Maybe it would be best to find a place where we can safetly get to know each other..." she suggested to them as she awkwardly kicked the heel of her boot against the pavement of the alleywayl. "If we are going to be working together that is, I would like to trust the people I travel with."

While speaking with the two females within the alleyway, Akio hadn't really noticed that there was another male within the restaurant about to make his way out of the kitchen to join the two of them in the group. Indeed, the idea of having those men continuing to chase them forever wouldn't exactly be a good thing; so having them joining up as a group would give them at least a good fighting chance to capture one of them and question them. All of a sudden, while standing there and speaking with the two females; when the another male came out from the exit of the kitchen saying if he could join them since he was also being chased by those people. Akio just turned his attention right back to one of the other females who had spoken up saying that they should stick together and get to a better along with safer place to speak about this. Giving a nod in agreement, this other male looked just a familiar as the rest of them as it would probably be a good idea to get him into the group. "We're going to need to gather everyone back together...if we all know each other as well as we think we do. Than theres no doubt about it, that those people aren't after us for nothing." he stated making his way over toward AK who seemed to be sitting against a wall as Akio held a hand out to her; offering to help her up to her feet.

Sighing softly, she smiled to the two strangers. Well, the two she didn't know the names for at least. It wasn't like she could call anyone a stranger now, with the rate of familiarity she kept feeling for everyone. Rubbing her eyes slightly, when she lowered her hands, she glanced up at Akio in surprise before taking his hand to get up, wincing slightly as she stumbled for a moment before straightening up. "Thanks" She mumbled before looking around at the other two who had decided to stick with them.

"Since we're gonna be with each other for a little while, my name's AK, and I'm glad you're coming with us..." She shivered as she remembered the explosion of action when the men with guns first came in. "Sooo... Any ideas where we go now?"
