As the Title dictates this RP will be House of Night themed. If you haven't read the books, thats alright I'll give you the basics in one of my later post so you will at least fit into the story. Oh and if there has already been one of these started by all means delete this one, for I didn't know there was already one started.

Your Basic Information:

Basically the way vampyres in the House of Night world work is around the time they reach puberty, or about the age of 16-17 they are marked by a tracker. When they are marked they receive a sapphire crescent moon tattoo on their forehead like so:


After being marked the vampyre is officially known as a fledgling and HAS to move to the nearest House of night school. This is because to complete the change into an adult vampyre they must be around adult vamps most of the time and can only stand a few hours away or their body will begin to reject the change and they will die. At any point during their stay at the House of Night school, their body could reject the change and they will spout blood from their eyes, nose, ears and mouth.

These Vampyres fledglings stay at the school, until they either change, or die, for four years. Pretty much freshman are 3rd formers, sophomores are 4th formers, juniors are 5th formers and seniors are 6th formers.

When you first arrive at the school you are given the opportunity to change you name if you so wish, so go crazy with the names guys!



Not all vampyers have to be the house of night kind, but you are advised to make a character that at least has a reason for existing in this world.

Personality: She is very intelligent and also very loud and hyper. She gets easily distracted and often goes off in her own world without realizing it. She is shy at first but loves to be around people. Scared of the dark.

Any Powers?: He has a strong connection to Shadows, With practice he has been able to blend with shadows with ease and trick the eyes with misty images

Appearance: Of Egyptian descent, about 6 foot even with a lean, muscular build. Black Mid-back length hair, usually tied back in a low ponytail. His angled eyes are so dark a brown they seem black, his skin the gold/red tan of the Ancients. Usually dressed in tight-fitting black pants or dark jeans, sleeveless shirts or satin button-ups, Black boots and a tarnished, old Ankh pendant.

Personality: He plays the part of the dark player vamp to a tee. He has a deeper side to him however, as he is fond of Enigmas and riddles and reads frequently about the dark arts. Sarcasm and wit is all about him as he flows through almost any type of crowd.

Gender: female
Age: 17
Any Powers?: she loves messing with dark magic which gave her a few odd abilities that only show up and react when a negative emotion is really strong. Those unlucky enough to have seen it usually don't survive or dare speak about it.
Appearance: relatively short with long, waist length hair, which she dyed a dark pink color, and black in the front. She's sickly pail and thin, result from all the dark magic. All her clothes, even for the summer, are long sleeved and dark, covering as much skin as possible. No one knows it or has seen it, but magic induced scars cover most of her body, especially her arms. She keeps her nails long, which are usually painted to match her hair.
Personality: Calm, and cool, she mostly keeps to herself, but if spoken to, she can be very sarcastic and cold. Sometimes, she enjoys confusing people with complicated vocabulary or even with speaking another language. If she managed to befriend someone, she'd be very protective and sort of nice. But be warned, if she is angered, upset, hurt or anything really bad, she turns into a blood craved monster.

Zosma poked at her sand which with a bony finger, once again lacking an appetite. Must be from the dark ritual I did last night, she thought to herself, picking it up and forcing herself to take a bite. It hit her stomach painfully. Groaning, she set it back down, and looked up at the starry night sky partly covered by tree branches glumly. She'd slipepd by the teachers after grabbing some food, and was sitting under 'her tree' like usual. She found it really annoying how people were so loud when there was a mass of them, so she went somewhere relatively deserted, minus the occasional passerby going to another class.

Nickname: Rave, Sierra, or Syd, but most people still call her Ravyn.

Any Powers?: She has an affinity for all the elements, including spirit. She also has telekenisis

Appearance: She's short, standing at only 5'0. She has pale, almost translucent skin, one violet eye, and one ice blue eye. The starting of her tatoo is a beautiful curling pattern that come around her eyes and many ancient patterns lining the curling lines. She has dark dark, dark brown hair, that is almost mindblowingly straight. It hangs right below her collarbones, and is streaked with white and purple. She has a slim frame, but is well-muscled. She mostly wears ripped skinny jeans, high-tops, lace-up boots, corsets, graphic tees, and studded belts. The only things she wears at all times are a single chain choker with a prism that hangs in the hollow of her neck, and a silver ring embellished with sapphires and amethyst with a rose design on it.

Personality: She's shy, and barely talks to anyone but her friends. She has some trust issues, so it takes a while for her to trust someone. But when you do get to know her, she's caring, sweet, and very protective of her friends.

Misha was on her back, starting at the sky. Her eyes were wide with wonder. Her lips turned up into a smile. She was alone in her own world where no one could touch her. In reality of course there were a few people around her. She sighed when she snapped out of her perfect dream world. A world where she actually had friends. In reality Misha was much too shy. If someone spoke to her first maybe she would have a friend but no one had spoken to her yet. Misha swore under her breath then went back into her dream world.

Wanders around seeing all the new people. Stumbles across Misha and waves.

"Hello, sorry I don't mean to interrupt or anything but I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Demeter." Demeter said this with a big smile on her face happy to finally meet somebody.

Misha blinked, unsure how to respond. She decided to just say something quick. "Hi Demeter..." Good... Now introduce yourself she thought. "My name is Misha" She added. She smiled, her eyes bright with pure excitement. That wasn't so hard...

Demeter smiles, "Hello Misha, It's nice to meet you. It's nice to meet you!"

Misha smiled and jumped to her feet. "So are you my friend now?" She asked quickly. Her eyes were wide with excitement and her smile was hopeful. A light wind tousled her hair and out of habit she quickly fixed it.

Ravyn strolled down the sidewak, hands in the pockts of her skinny jeans, her head held high even though she was short. But, she as still repsected. Some fifth formers gave her a few nasty looks, but she brushed thm off. She finally got to a tree, an laid down under it, closng her vibrant eyes and thinking.

Demeter smiled at Misha. "Of course" she said genuinely.

Misha hugged Demeter. No reason beyond excitement fueled this decision. A small cloud of dust, barely noticeable, rose around her as her weak mental power stirred the dirt on the ground.

Any Powers: Has an affinity for spirit (helps with releasing her spirit into her work), sudden prophetic drawings.
Personality: Celina is very tomboyish, but has her girlish quirks here and there. She is a lover of the arts, and I mean ALL arts: drawing, acting, singing, dancing, culinary, music. She can do all but play an instrument. She also is very responsible and acts like a big sister to those she cares about. Celina loves a good joke or a nice big bear hug.
