Kyra looked at the girls then waved "hello" she said and she looked at the desk "do any of you know were the check in book went" she asked

Mikki stared a moment "oh! I have it, sorry hang on" she turned and went to her room, putting the key in the lock she turned it and went inside. She picked up the check-in book off the desk and went back to the top of the stairs locking the door behind her "here it is" Mikki waved it about for effect before heading down the stairs and replacing it on the desk. She went to one of the chairs and flopped over the arm so her legs hung over it and her back leaned on the other arm "I'm Mikki, you here lookin for ghosties then? I hear that's what most people come for. Not me though" she said placing an arm on the back of the chair.

"no im already checked in i just left for a few days" she smiled 'and im not even lieing' she thought she asked as she walked up the stairs to her room and pulled out a key 'seeroom 15" she opened the door "im Kyra you are?" she asked

[ Gaah! I'm so sorry for the really wierd disappearances. My family thinks I should spend more time with them.]

Ikki giggled. "Ghosts aren't real. Those are just rumors. Nothing paranormal has ever happened here." Ikki was quite a good actress. It made her a liar but it wouldn't matter as long as she got rid of those pesky humans. How annoying could they get. Ikki couldn't wait to get it over with.

Mikki looked up from her chair at Ikki "Yeah, that's the point. They're not real and I'm staying here so I can prove it" she said getting up"it's ridiculous, most things paranormal can easily be explained" she moved towards the stairs and started walking up them. She turned slightly "so what do you guys do for fun here"

Ikki followed her. "Well. I'm usually stuck behind the desk or cleaning but On my breaks I go for walks in the forest or to the marketplace." Ikki suddenly remembered her death. She twitched her eye and smiled again. She forgot how sensitive it was to talk about it; she never really had to talk about anything to these people. "There's not much you can do here."

"That's ok, I don't tend to do much anyway a few nights should be sufficient enough time to disprove these people" she turned smiling at Ikki "Is the forest nice? I do like forests" she ran for a few steps to the top of the staircase and turned to face Ikki "They get anythin good on the market?" she smiled. It had been a while since she was anywhere that had event he slightest bit of nature "I might check the forest out later" she said looking up mentally planning out her day "would you like to come with me? I doubt anybody else will turn up now" she put her key in the lock and turned it opening the door she turned to wait for Ikki to reply leaning slightly on the door smiling.

Ikki hadn't been to the marketplace in ages. She wasn't even sure if it was still there. "Uh. Yes the forest is very serene. The marketplace usually has a variety of things to buy. I wouldn't mind going with you." She smiled back at Mikki. She realized no matter what she did she couldn't get rid of all the people. She would have to deal with it. For now she could make friends with the girl.

"Great" she said jumping slightly off the door "Let me know whenever you're ready to go" Mikki went into her room and pulled her bag out from under the bed and opened it, pulling t-shirts and jackets out "do you think it'll be cold? Probably not right? I'll be all right like this yeah?" she said looking down at her shirt. She stuffed her clothes back in the bag and pushed them under the bed again. Then she got up and dropped onto the edge of the bed "Oh, do you know anywhere that has like free wi-fi or anything like that round here?" she asked starting to put her laptop back in her bag.

"Wi-fi? What is...Um. No. None of that around here." Ikki had never heard of anything like that. It sounded so foreign. The best she could do is say there was none of that. The truth is no one actually worked at the inn. It was the ghosts keeping it alive. Switching from the living and undead worlds kept the people coming. Ikki had no idea why though. Maybe because she didn't want to be lonely all the time. "But you'll be fine with that on. I don't think it gets very cold." She lied. She hadn't felt warmth in years.

"How many people work here? I haven't seen many people around" she said putting the laptop under the bed with the rest of her stuff "I guess I could survive without the net for a while, would have helped with my investigating though but never mind" she checked her shoes before getting up "do you have things to do still or are you free for a bit of an adventure?" she moved to the window and opened it to let a bit of air in. It was getting quite late on in the afternoon but she felt like a bit of a walk and she could probably learn something useful from this person, if she lived and worked here. Maybe she could help her to find out where all these rumours had come from.

"Um. Just a few of us work here. I'm free to go where i want now. But what may I ask are you investigating?" Ikki never heard of any person investigating the inn. Let's face it, it's an old run down inn with few people in it, the only things in there were ghosts and sometimes murderers. It's probably why there were so many murders, it was hardest for the police to get there and it was rare that any law enforcement would drop by. In the old days it seemed fine but as time progressed the inn just didn't seem too safe anymore. It was beyond her why any person in the right mind would even consider coming by even for a few minutes. To some its a haven for others its a deathwish. Ikki couldn't understand humans anymore.

"People are just irritating me keep saying this place is full of ghosts so I'm investigating ghostly activity" she laughed "won't find any though, ghosts don't exist but if I investigate and disprove them then maybe people will grow up and leave this place alone or they might even do it up and get some more people stayin" Mikki moved back to the door picking up the key on her way past it. She went back to her bags and pulled out a black cap putting it on she said "Ready to go then?" she smiled closing the door behind her and locking it. She leaned on the door slipping the key into her back pocket. It was a little odd how these people just randomly turned up, maybe she could help it would be a lot easier if she wasn't the only one investigating this place.

Kyra slowly walked outside the Inn and headed for the forest where she could think about what Ikki was doing she sat down 'have i been dead long enough to be out in public' she thought to herself if she was she could use some new things the chairs need to be reapulstered

Ikki laughed. "It is quite irritating with people constantly asking about ghosts. Take it from me, there has been nothing ghostly. No reports of odd happenings have ever come in." Ikki had completely lied to Mikki. Almost everyday she would haunt a customer. They would come report it to her at the desk. She would mostly laugh in there faces and say there are no such things as ghosts. Ikki loved tricking people. But to keep up this charade with Mikki she'd have to stay in the sunlight. She looked into the sky hoping the sun wouldn't go down soon. If it did and they were out there she would glow brighter than a city. Ikki's best bet was to get Mikki inside before dark. She would have to keep a mentally note on that. "Oh! I do know of a neat little hot spring nearby."

Mikki walked along with Ikki with her hands behind her back "So, if nobody says anything about ghosts to you where'd all the rumours come from?" she turned slightly watching Ikki look at the sky "I know I ask a lot of questions but every good investigator does" she smiled. Mikki thought a moment "where'd that other girl go, what was her name? Ky-ra, Kyra?" she suddenly thought she hadn't known this girl that long maybe she should make sure they were out in the forest alone too long, you can never be too careful with people these days. There always seems to be things on the news about murderers and the like lurking around places. She watched Ikki as they walked along "really? I've not seen a proper hot spring before, is it far?"

"Oh just some kids playing a prank. This place used to be full of people." She wasn't lieing about that people used to love coming by but soon the place was infested with criminals and delinquents. "Oh the Kyra story? Nobody knows why she died. The inn was a nice place but it wasn't long before people realized it wasn't easy for the police to get up here. So there were murders and robberies but suddenly it all stopped and this place was left a barren wasteland. But Im just exaggerating; we still have the occasional group of visitors." Ikki smiled at her. "It is quite a lovely spring."

Mikki stopped walking "died? Are we talking about different Kyras here? Cause I was talking about that one thats staying at the inn and she didn't look dead to me" she said pointing her left thumb back towards the inn with a confused look on her face. She scratched her head "why don't you do the place up and get one of those rent-a-cops? that should help the business and discourage some of the criminals" maybe there was something odd with this place after all.


(Sorry, it's my Grandma's funeral this week so I won't be on for a few days)

Kyra went to the market bought some fabric and and some other things came back "I went to get some things because the chairs and sofas need to be reapulstered and some new sheets" she said kicking the door open "this place needs a few toluch ups and maybe a new paint color " she said walking in and looking around 'i dont know why i never did this before' she thought 'this place isnt the prettiest' "what did i miss" she asked with a smile

Ikki stopped. She was confused a bit and forgot about Kyra. "Oh yes! There was another Kyra here! Im just so used to being asked about that story, when I hear that name I just spill that story. Sorry about that. I've been working at this inn for too long." She laughed. "Oh hey Kyra. You didn't miss a thing. We were thinking about going for a walk in the forest and stopping by the spring." Ikki wasn't very well at remembering things unimportant to her. How will I go about this day when I can't get hings right? She looked out to the sky checking on the sun placement.

"i get confuzed with that kyra alot" Kyra laughed "we share the same name nothing else" she smiled as she droped the fabric on a near by table "Ikki what do you think of this" Kyra pulled out a deep red fabric "i was thinking about this for the chairs" she walked up to the girls "well i hope you guys have fun just be carefull and try to be back befire dark" 'if you dont Ikki will glow and we will be in trouble' she thought

"Oh it's a lovely color Kyra. You should get that settled right away." Ikki turned back to Mikki "It is getting dark. Maybe we should do this tomorrow." She lead Mikki back to her room. Ikki sighed in relief and went back into her ghost form. She headed back to the lobby and sat on the counter."Now that was a pain in the butt. Though Mikki seemed quite nice. Maybe I'll let her stay in my room after all." Ikki smiled thinking of the joy that she could get from having a friend to play games with and hang out. It was a while since she had contact with the living.

alice and alex were driving when they passes what theye were looking for "brother their it is you passed it." alex had been driving for hours now and was getting tired "oh sorry i will get their soon enough i promise." alice had just put down her cd player when she noticed that alex was nodding off "when we get their we are getting a room for the night your falling asleep at the wheel and im not going to die alone and im not going to die a virgin."alex grumbled something under his breath something that sounded like "you will if i have something to say about it." it just made her giggle and hit her brother in the arm. they arived at the inn and got out of the car "yeah we made it alex i cant belive you drove here in a day." "i told you i could you just have no faith in me." "nope none what so ever."

they enter the building with a thud as alice falls flat on her face she laughed "stupid clutz me falls hey mabye its the ghosts trying to make me their ghosty queen." alex just sighed holding back a laugh as alice got up "thanks for the help i see your no knight." she looked around the place was intristing to say the least.

Ikki saw the humans enter the inn. She really wasn't expecting it. She reflexively went into human form. As the weight was added she fell forward off of the desk. She could feel the pain and sat up. "Oww..." She began rubbing her painful nose. "I can't believe this." She stood up and brushed the dirt off of her dress. "Welcome to The Full Moon Inn! Can I get you a room for the night?" She smiled. These humans are becoming bothersome! How can I ever be able to rest in peace when these humans just pop in whenever? And let me guess they want to see a ghost too. Why couldn't I die like every other person in their old age?! I probably could've gotten married had some children and.. Ikki stopped. She was becoming lost in thought.

"hello" Kyra waved "ok Ikki i will get on it right away" she pulled out a staple gun and cut the fabric into sections and started to strip the fabric 'maybe they will leave' she thought "if there were ghosts in here i dont think they will want a queen at least not a living one" Kyra joked lookeing up at the two that just walked in
