"I'm a little dizzy, but other than that I am good." I laugh a little bit. It was quite a rush moving at vampire speed. i had never thought of moving that fast. I walk back to the medical tent, give Eli a kiss, and then walk back to the office. When I got back there I saw Captain White sitting in my chair, with his feet up on the desk asleep. I walk up and push his feet off the desk. He grabs his pistol and points it at my forehead.
"You wanna holster that weapon Captain?" It takes a minute, but he finally lowers the weapon and puts it away. "Would you like to tell me why the hell you are in MY office Captain?" He looked at me, I could tell he wasn't happy that I was back. "We didn't know where you went to Sergeant. Someone had to take over, so I came in here and I must have passed out." "Well, Some leader you are. Get the Hell out of my office! NOW!" The Captain walked out, like a dog with it's tail between its legs. I sat down on the chair and looked around. He has such an attitude, I have a feeling that I'm gonna have to watch him. |
I blushed when Ken kissed me. It made me forget everything at that moment, like we were the only two in the world.
When he left to go to his office I went back to check on Felix and the others. |

I couldn't slow the pace of my breathing. Once again, Elsa and I had escaped death. My chest was rising and falling at a hyperventilating rate. It was out of my control. Elsa was trembling, smothering her urge to cry. For several moments, the pain of my body had disappeared. But once I realized that it was gone, it came back again. I just laid there on the ground, soaking up the agony. Elsa staggered to her feet and put her hands over her ears at the shrieking of the infected animals. "What's happening?" she yelled, grimacing at the unison of wails and cries. After a few moments, my eyes snapped open and raised myself to my feet instantly. I put Elsa in my arms and began to run again, although it was so damn hard on my body. With the burning of their flesh, we were exposed to the virus of both the zombie and the werewolf. After only several moments, my legs broke under me. I collapsed, but recovered from the fall and continued to crawl. "Leon," whispered Elsa. "Leon, stop. You're hurting yourself..." I ignored her and continued crawling. Although my mind was determined to get away from there, my body didn't agree and reisisted. Obviously, my body would win over. The will of my mind wasn't enough to keep it going. I put Elsa aside and let myself lay there, as an attempt to slow down the pain of my thundering heart. Each moment that I laid there, the chance of us catching the infection rose another ten percent. But my body was entropized. I exhaled a low breath, but was cut off with an inhale and my breathing returned to hyperventilation. "Elsa," I said amongst my rasping breathing. "I need you... to get out of here..." Before I could finish the sentence, Elsa stomped her foot and said, "No! Shut up! No! I'm not leaving you!" I raised my head, my expression wrinkled with aggravation. "Elsa," I said in a firm voice. I ignored my will to breath rapidly as I spoke, "I'm not going to die. Don't worry about it. I'll be fine, but we are exposed to the infection out here. I can't move very well. You must go on. I will catch up with you, I promise. After all that I've done to protect you, you think I would abandon you now? No. No, Elsa. I'm not going to. I promise." Elsa stared down at me and I saw her eyes well up with tears. "I will catch up. I just need to recompose my body. It won't take long, but I will get to you." Elsa lowered her head in defeat and turned around, sprinting away. I smiled as I watch her disappear into the thickets of the forest. I let out a breath and laid my head on the ground. My heart felt so... whimsical. |

((Cyraus, you ready to accept some help now?)) In the distance I could hear voices in the forrest. They sounded familiar. "Elsa?" I stand up and walk out of the medical tent and look off towards the forest. It was well after dark now but I knew that I heard Elsa's voice. "Elsa!" I shout, hoping that she could hear me. |

kaleb and i heard it at the same time,an explosion of epic proportions.i saw elsa and leon again in my mind,this time leon was deadly hurt.i ran,ran to find eli,or sergeant hemora,anyone.i got to eli first."eli! my vision,i saw another! theyre alive,but the man,leon,hes hurt bad,he told elsa to go on,but i dont think hes gonna make it without help! its not too far for a vampire,we need to help them!" kaleb ran up behind me whats going on? i quickly explained,and he nodded.just tell me what to do,ill help. |
"No! You two stay here with Ember and Felix. Keep an eye on Felix's I'll go find Elsa and Leon." I tell Kaleb and Gemini.
"I heard Elsa in the forest. I know her scent better than anybody else. Tell Ken that I had to go find them, and I will be back this time." I take off into the forest and hear the animals scattering left and right. I try to follow the sound of Elsa's voice but it soon stops and all I have to rely on is the wind and her scent. "Elsa! Elsa!!" I continue shouting and praying that she would hear my voice and answer. |
i did as i was told,as soon as i couldnt see eli anymore,i ran as fast as my feet would carry me,straight to where sergeant hemora was."sergeant! we need help! eli told me to come to you,theres trouble!" i quickly explained my vision,and how eli was going to help."she told us to tell you,and to keep an eye on felix and the others.what would you have us do,sir?" i was desperate to help in any way.such horrible things happening.i will also help in any way possible. caleb spoke calmly,as usual.he never seemed to show much emotion,even in crisis situations.

"I will get a group of men ready to go help out, If you want to help your more than welcome. You sense of smell is going to come in handy trying to find Eli again. We will be heavily armed and ready to go. We need to move quickly too, because if we wait much longer then we'll be running into some things that I m sure we really don't want to run into." I walk out of the tent and find the first squad leader available. I tell him what he needs to do and he salutes and heads off to get his squad. I inform Gemini what is going on and I go back to the tent.

Felix felt himself winning the fight. "Father, I'm leaving now. I'm sorry, I hope to see you again, but It's time." He nodded and said "Yes it is. You may go. I'm sorry i got Ember and you infected. I'm sorry..." He had a distant look in his eyes, then the longer I looked at him, the farther away he was. soon, he was a dot. then, the darkness disappeared. __________________________________________________ ________________________ I gasped for breath. My body was sores, but where was I? I looked around, and realized, I was in a forrest. my body seemed to be okay, asside fromt he sores, but I felt something in my arm. It was like an itch i couldnt get rid of. I Smelled an explosion in the distance, and I smelled Eli near it. I started moving, and felt somehting more in me. I could do more than run. I started moving, concentrated on the explosion and fires in the distance, and I was right next to the building. And then i felt extremely light headed. The blood rushed to my face, i thought i would faint. Then i realized i was a vampire, and couldnt actually faint. I smelled Eli coming closer. I was ahead of her. What did i do? I no longer felt like i was a zombie, or a vampire any more. It was wierd. |
((Guys, I told you they were going to be out there for a month or less. Remember after I told Gemini not to hurry so fast with saving Leon and Elsa? -_- Damn, I had a lot of plans for the virus-infested city... Well, it's too late now, since everyone is racing towards there.))
The seconds turned longer, as they would if one would be laying on the ground, dying. I felt my breathing become more shallow and quicker. I knew that shock would come to me sooner or later, not that it mattered much. I realized that I was drifting in and out of consciousness, for I'd be laying in one position this second and another the next second without even remembering doing so. I couldn't keep track of my thoughts. I would be thinking this and then that, and then forget what I was thinking of. For one of those moments, I thought of my promise to Elsa, and whether I would be able to fulfill it. I wanted to so badly... I thought of her heartbroken face when she would return to me and see my lifeless body. But my mind wasn't in control of my body's state, no matter how much I wished it to be. My mind then drifted to the pain I was feeling. I had gotten used to it and the tinges of pain whenever I breathed. I recalled my past minor injuries. Having a werewolf claw my back, passing out after having my head crushed against a vampire's knee, being shot in the kneecap by a zombie, and the numerous times that Cyrus had clouted me in the head with the muzzle of his gun. I let out a laugh, but then stopped immediately after how much pain it caused. I had actually thought that those past things hurt. Those things were mosquito bites compared to what agony I was in now. Except for being shot in the kneecap, that was a bee sting. |
((sorry. >.< i'll try to make it work for you then. it's just getting a little boring since you are the only one with all the action stuff going on. since now Felix is waking up we could give you more time.))
"Elsa!!!" I scream one last time. I was just about to turn around and go back to the camp when a werewolf jumps out and attacks me, knocking me to the ground with a thud. I hit my head on a rock and everything goes black and silent. |

i sensed no one i had ever met, not even any humans... odd, I sensed one a moment ago.. I sensed Eli's pressence, and knew she got hurt. I raced over to where she was, and i killed the were wolf that was near her. "Shit..." I said, when i knew she was hurt bad. I hung her body over my shoulder, and started goign back tothe base, which wasnt that far away. |
I could smell blood, my blood. My head hurt terribly and nothing seemed quite right. the sounds were off. So were the voices, if that was what the sounds were. I couldn't see anything, like I was in a small dark room.

"Its all right Eli! Stay Awake!" I reached the camp, and came across Hemora, and a small platoon of soldier. "She's hurt, where is the medic camp???"

"It's that main tent over there. " I point in the direction of the medical tent. I start walking alongside Felix. "MEDIC! Get a stretcher over here now!" Two doctors ran out with a stretcher between them. I help Felix put Eli down on the stretcher.
"Take her to the tent, now." They double time it to the medical tent. |
"Is...Is... Is she gong to be... alright?" i ask the doctor, before even Hemura could.

My breathing was abnormal and the sounds still didn't sound right. I saw a light move around but it seemed dim and far away.
I couldn't move. My body felt heavy and it started to become hard for me to breathe. |
The doctor looked at as both.
"I really don't know yet. I have to get a better look at her." He told us as we entered the medical tent. We rushed to the back of the tent. He began looking at her once we got to the back. "Sergeant, I don't know what to do. I can try to treat her like a regular human but I don't know....." I grabbed him by the collar and pulled him right to my face. "You listen and you listen good doctor. You will do whatever you have to in order to keep her alive. If she dies, I. Will. Have. Your. HEAD." I let him go. He nods, and starts working on Eli. |
I felt the pain in my head growing dull and I suddenly felt warm inside.
My mind flashed back to before the outbreak. I was in my kitchen cooking dinner. Ken came in and wraped his arms around my waist and kissed my shoulder. I giggled and playfully pushed him away. "I'm busy. Stop messing around." I say jokingly to him. He just laughed and kissed me as I turned around to face him. I gave him a little glare but kissed him back. "Go wash up and set the table. Dinner is almost ready." I told him, going back to my cooking. He walked out and did as I asked. After dinner We sat on the couch and flipped through the channels on TV. Ken asked me what I would think about a trip to the beach as he pulled out two plane tickets. My flashback ends and I could hear Ken yelling. The warm feeling ends and my head stars to hurt again. I tried to move and found that I actually could this time. I manage to mumble something that I wasn't even able to understand. |
I saw Eli mumble somehting, and her twich! "Are you okay Eli? Did the werewolf do much to you?" I was more scared than i ever had been inmy life.

I opened my eyes to see Felix hovering over me. I was in the medical tent and there were doctors and nurses everywhere.
felix asked me if I was alright and I just nodded. "Ken..." I manage to say. my mouth felt dry and it was hard to talk. |
As the doctor starts to deal with Eli she starts to mumble something.
"Eli!" I rush to her side and grab her hand. "Please baby, please say something." I pray and wait for her to snap back into it. |
i smell eli's blood from across the room.i barely look up before im over there."is she ok? what happened?" i look at her.she's in a terrible state.i take kaleb's hand and ask him for strength,which he gives.i close my eyes and concentrate.if i can keep her mind with us,id at least give the doctor time to do what he needed.eli? can you hear me? stay with us,ok?

I blink a few times before I could really see anything. The smell of my blood was making me sick and my head hurt like crazy.
"I'm alright. My head hurts and I feel a little sick, but other than that, I'm alright. I think..." I tell everybody. |
i sigh in relief."thank goodness.you gave us a scare!" you sure you're alright? looks like you took a beating. i look at her."what are we going to do now?" i ask,my eyes shining green suddenly.i start coughing again."ugh! i thought i was done with this!cough cough hack wheeze"
