I smile at Gemini and Kaleb, I knew that I could count on them.
"I will go with Ken to the base to see if they will even consider accepting us first. If not, then we will leave on our own and go into the town."
I hated leaving Ken again. I didn't want to leave him if it came to that, but I would if I had to in order to protect him, myself, and my new family.

((I just want to make sure that when everyone is acknowledging an abandoned town they are not talking about the infected city that Leon, Elsa, and Ember are in. That is certainly not an abandoned town, since the virus has inhabited it.
Just wanted to make clear of that.))
I walked through the town so very painstakingly, both Elsa and I on alert of any sounds, shadows, or winds. I took vigilant to ahead of us and to the sides while Elsa was on alert to the back of us. The city seemed like a ghost town, as opposed to a Virus City. I wondered where the gunshots and screeching of tires had gone. I knew that vampires would not venture out into broad daylight, since the sunlight burns their eyes. But zombies and werewolves wouldn't be affected by it at all.
After sauntering through the suburbs, we reached the center of the city with no one in sight.
"Leon," murmured Elsa, gripping my shoulders more tightly.
"Hmm?" I replied, continuing to walk and scan the area for anything. There was a hesitant silence.
"I'm scared," she whispered, as if ashamed to admit so. I stopped in mid-step for a moment, and then proceeded.
"It's understandable," I said with a vacant voice. "But it'll be alright." I didn't admit how very frightened I was. I couldn't bring myself to. How would she feel if she knew that she had a scared-stiff, defenseless man protecting her?
My eyes crossed over the central mall to my right. The main concern was food, which I knew would be scarce because of numerous loots and also spoiled products. But there was a good chance that there were also fresh clothes for the both of us in there. I looked over my shoulder and said, "Hey Elsa. Would you like to go shopping?"

They were talking about an abandond town. I didnt care. I never would. Ember was gone. While they were all talking about this town, I was on my bench. Gemini had threatened me, and her Kaleb had backed up her threat. I began to have a very frail smile on my face, as they threatened me. so what if I die? Ember's gone... I cant find her.... no one else can...
I got off the bench, the first time I stood up in over twelve hours. I started walking towards the medic tent, and I decided to get rid of my wanting of human, that I've had for... Over a year. Even before the hybridation, I couldn't find humans easily. So I was offically a dead man walking. My smile grew.

I noticed that my stomach was getting bigger. How long had it been? a week or so? I had heard that vampire pregnancies only lasted about two months, but would the werewolf gene speed up the process? I had found an abandoned Hotel which still had plenty of food, and the infected stayed away from.

I was sitting in the office when the Lieutenant and Captain White walked in. I turn towards them and put my hands together and put my head on top of my hands.
"Gentleman, what brings you both here this early?" They looked at each other.
"Sergeant, We cannot have these infected here with us anymore, it's dangerous having them here." The Captain said to me.
"Captain, Sir. Give me once excuse where it has been dangerous having them here. I was trying to stay calm, but i had a bad feeling that that wasn't going to last very long. I stood up and put my hands on the desk.
"Well.... I can't honestly think of one, but I know that it isn't good having them here." The Captain was at a lose for a reason to make up. I could tell that he was trying to find one though.
"Trust me Sergeant, They need to go NOW. Period." I walk around the desk and get right up in his face.
"Tell me something Lieutenant, Since when is this your effing unit? I do not care what you and the Captain here think. I am not throwing them out. They are decent people, unlike yourselves." They look at each other after that statement. "That is my decision, and no matter what you all say I am not leaving them. So, if you have a problem with that. GET OVER IT! In fact, you know what," I thought about it before I actually said it, and then I decided that it was going to be worth it, it would make Eli happy. "Lieutenant, I order you to take your men, and this Captain here that you seem to get along with so dag gum well, and get the hell out of my camp. Right this minute!" They looked at each other once again. "GO!" I grab them both by their collars and lead them out of the tent. I push them and the Captain almost falls over. "If you agree with him so well about that then you can go. I don't want someone who is going to go against what I decide." I flip them the bird and walked back in the tent. I walk up to the guards, "No one is allow to enter unless its Sky or Eli. Understand?" They both nod, I walk back in the office and zip the flap shut. I go to sit down in my chair again. I felt as if someone was listening to what I was up to, but then again I had had that feeling a lot lately.
"I cant believe that they would be so stupid as to try and get me to make them leave. I would never do that to any of them. Especially not Eli. Gemini and Kaleb are a good couple, and Ember is a good person, it's a shame that she was turned. I bet she was an amazing person to everyone before the outbreak. I don't know a lot about Felix. He seems pretty interesting, might be nice to get to know him. I'll have to line that up, I need to make up for what I've done to them." I grabbed my rifle and started cleaning it off.

"Thank you." I tell gemini and Kaleb. "You don't know how much this means to me, that you would stay with me no matter my decision. And Gemini, what was it that you wanted me to telKen about?"
Out of the corner of my eye I see Felix get up and I watch him as he heads towards the medical tent.
My heart started to race for reasons I did not know and before I knew what was happening I had chased after him and knocked him to the ground.
"Felix?"
He had a strange look in his eyes, a murderous look. I was worried and a little scared. I didn't know Felix all that well and I had always felt a little uneasy about him, unlike Gemini and the others.
"Felix, what are you planning?" I ask him, holding him down to the ground.

Eli had pinned me down, and I couldnt move. Then Gemini came up to me and started yelling. "Shut up and listen Gemini" I made a pause and turned towards Eli. "I'm done. I'm finished. Do what you want with me. But I'm DONE." I hadn't told her what I was going to do, and what I planned on doing. "You don't know me, but I know you. You love everyone here, and you will defend them with your life. Expecially the one you call Ken. I dont know anyone, but Ember. She's gone. I'm gone too now. There is no purpose for me here, and since she's not here, I will do what I wish. obviously, she doesn't love me anymore. at least not the way I love her." My voice broke down. "I dont know... But stop" My voice returned to its original dark self. "I dont want you to stop me, in what I'm about to do. If you do, I will kill you. Or die trying. I just dont know anymore..." My eyes went to the sky, and I pushed her off of me. "Or, there is a third option. Me to leave. That's the choice I'll make." My face grew a sad smile. "Goodbye." And so I left the camp.

(sorry lolz! My character is prolly going to jump off a bridge... or a volcano... or somehting stupid... I like this so I'm not going to kill my character...)
I walked and walked... I came across a small group of lycans. they were survivors of my previous outrage, to save Ember. "Hello. Goodbye" I said to them, as I killed them all, with my Katars, that i still had. After i sliced ones head off, I kept walking. And walking. I came to a car, and decided to get it started. I had not driven in years. I wanted to try again. I wired up the car, and it started. I drove the car, until i found a gas station, and I filled it up. I decided to stay there, and stay. That would be my home. I figured out a plan. I would drive around, looking for creatures to kill. Any living creature I came across would die. Simple as that. And so, thats what I did until dark. then i made a room, and barrackaded the doors and entrances closed. I had it all figured out. And then I shut my eyes.

i spent the rest of the day worrying.i felt that ember would need our help soon, probably within the next month or so.i wouldnt eat,or sleep,or talk to anyone.i wanted to get out of this place,i wanted to go whee the outside world couldnt harm us.but i couldnt go on my own,and i had promised eli that i would back her up."oh,ember.why did you leave? god, eli,we need to get the hell outta here..." i whispered to no one.gemini, come to bed.please? i looked over at kaleb, who looked truly worried.i went and laid down with him.after that was a blur.next thing i knew,it was morning.

(Well, I thought of that. I probably wouldnt cross her in awhile, so by then I would kill anything.... but we'll find out, probably)
I woke up, and started my first day. I looked out my window, and there were hundreds of zombies outside. "What the hell?" There wasnt a chance in hell I could get them all, or get passed them. I put up more barrackades, and went to the roof.
"102 of them... 17 coming within the mile..." I said to myself. I could also sense a lycan within the mile also, but moving away from my location. how could so many be near me so fast?
I could also sense a vampire within 40 miles, but i doubted he or she could sense me as I had better skills at smell than most. Plus, no one in the right mind would come here with so many zombies here and so close. For some reason, I couldnt control any of them either. What was I going to do?

((am i just being ignored? i had felix pinned to the ground in my post yet he was still walking somewhere? o.O? now would be a perfect time for what's his face. the evil guy who comands the undead. *cough* Cyraus hint hint *cough*))
Felix pushes me away and walks off without answering and walks out of the camp so I let him go. I get up and brush the dirt off my clothes and then go into the medical tent.
The guards were standing outside the room Ken was in and the door was closed. I debated going to talk to him for a moment and was about to turn away and go to bed but he had sent Sky to tell me he wanted to talk to me.
"Could you tell Hemora that I'll be waiting outside." I tell one of the guards before leaving the tent.
I walked around as the sun started to set. the night air had a slight chill to it tonight and I shivered. I always had hated the cold.
I walked by the trucks and stopped at one truck in particular. It had a small winged heart on the side. One wing was white, the other was black. Ken and I had made this together when we were younger. He told me that he would always keep it with him for good luck. I guess It had worked for him.
I let my fingers touch the cold metal of the truck where the heart was.
"My heart, I give it wings so that it may always find you. The wings of an angel to protect you, and the wings of a devil to warn those who mean you harm." I whisper before I let my hand drop to my side.

I was working on cleaning my rifle when the guard from outside came in.
"Sergeant, Eli came by, she said that she would be outside." I stood up, strapped my rifle on my back, and nodded to the Private.
"Thank you, go get two more Privates to stand here for you two. I'll be back soon." He nodded and we both left the office. I walk outside the tent and look around and see Eli looking at my truck in the convoy. I noticed that she was looking at our symbol on the door. " I put that on there, not long after I got the job as a 915 driver. The Major wasn't too happy with me, but I didn't care." I said as I wrappped my arms around her from behind. I kissed her cheek. "I turned down the offer to move to the other base. I actually sent the Lieutenant and his group away, and I sent Captain White with them. I want you to find me the best place for us to move to as possible." I kiss her again, and rest my head on her shoulder.

I nearly jumped when Ken put his arms around me and spoke.
"I never thought that you would actually use it." I say, nearly at a whisper, referring to the painting.
"Why did you suddenly change your mind about going to the other base?"
I slip around in Ken's arms so that I was facing him.
"You probably know that I already went out to look around. I found an old hotel in the town not too far from here. There is plenty of room and I didn't smell any humans or infected while I was there. It's just a ghost town." I tell Ken.
I look into his eyes and I couldn't help but remember the past. When it was just the two of us, he would hold me close like this for hours.

I laughed a little bit.
"You were right, they wouldn't accept you. They tried to get me to make you all leave. I told them that there was no way that I would leave you out high and dry." I kissed her forehead. "And i did not know actually that you had gone out already. I would like you to go out and make sure that it's a good place today. Now, I'm gonna go lay down again. I didn't get too much sleep last night and I fell like crap." I kiss her on the lips, and walk back to the medical tent. There were two new guards there.
"Did the other privates tell you the circumstances of this door?" They both nod, and I go back inside the office and shut the flap again. I pull my rifle off my back, and lay down on my cot with it across my chest. I start dreaming about the past. About me and Eli being alone, before the outbreak.

I smile when Ken tells me to make sure the place i picked out is a good place. He kisses me before He leaves to go back to his office and I blush a little. It had been a long time since I had felt what it was like to be loved, and I missed it now that I had it back.
I walk around for a few minutes longer before going back to the tent to go to sleep.
I could still feel the heat from Ken's body and the night air made me shiver. I lay on one of the beds for a while before getting up, grabbing a blanket, and going to Ken's office. The guards paid me no mind when I walked by and into the room. Ken was asleep on a cot, his gun across his chest.
I gently picked the gun up and place it within arms reach before sliding in beside him under the blanket.

I woke up sometime to find Eli in my arms. I kissed her cheek and I laid back down. I remember we did this a few times back before the outbreak. It was so amazing. just me and her together, even insight of all that had happened. I still couldn't believe that the Lieutenant wanted to make all the infected leave. I had a good feeling that what I did was the right thing to do. I play with Eli's hair, that was always my favorite thing to do.

((Wow, everyone's branching off. I think I just started a trend.
And by the way, his name is Donovan. The reason Bloody Blade *cough* me *cough* hasn't posted because he hasn't had much to do. I guess he should be the reason why Felix is surrounded by zombies, if that is alright.))
"Awww," drawled Elsa, picking up a pink T-shirt with a multicolored butterfly on it that was hanging from a stretched out rack against a wall. "This is cute."
"Then take it," I replied, scanning the long, curved hallway above the lobby of the mall. The whole building was empty of life, but it didn't disarm my caution. The city wasn't called Virus City for nothing.
"But, wouldn't that be stealing?"
"It's not stealing when there's a pandemic. Everything's free here." Elsa hesitated, before making a 'hmm!' of satisfaction and stuffing the shirt in her plastic bag. "Just don't be carrying around plasma TVs," I added. "We're looking for things we need."
It was lucky that there were still shirts, shoes, and jeans in the mall. Most of the racks had been wiped clean of anything, but there were a good amount of leftovers.
Reassured that nothing and no one was around, I turned back and walked over to the kid's section of winter clothing. I indicated a small, dark green fleece jacket with bright yellow stripes at the cut off at the sleeves. She gave it a disapproving look and said, "I don't like green and yellow. They're icky colors." My eyes dulled.
"You wouldn't be worrying about the colors of the jacket when you're freezing cold in the winter, now would you?" She gave a shrug, as if considering that all along, and grabbed the coat.

(Oh your Bloodyblade? Okay. I forgot about him actually... sure that would be fine by me... but I'm screwed over. A lot.)
"I'm screwed. No way Ember will reach me." I sat down on the roof. If they dont get in, I'll starve. So I have about three days before I die. If I'm 'lucky'. What to do... what to do... I got out my katars, and realized that there were weapons inside the gas station. A lot of them. Not nearly enough ammo to kill even half of them, but it would pass time. "I got nothing better to do." I grabbed a gun, not caring what type, and walked back up to the roof. There were a couple more of them. I shot some, but it got boring after the first ten. But I kept doing it. I ran out of ammo so I chucked the gun at one. That amused me. I went browsing around the store. I found a nice fedora, and put it on. I liked it. I went back on the roof, and sat down. Waiting for something to happen.

"I sent Captin White with him, because he didn't seem to agree with my position on things here."
