My eyes were locked in place toward the vampire; his black holes for eyes were boring into mine. I felt them strain towards him, as if he were pulling my sockets toward him with a force of some kind. I was looking into death itself. His pale lips stretched into a mocking smile. "You two must be lost," he said coolly, taking a step towards us, "to wander in a place like this." Elsa and I just gawked at the man, making no movement whatsoever. The man broke the silence by taking another step toward us, the echo of the hard sole of his shoe sending tingles down my back. "I was about to bail on this ghost town when I heard a loud banging." He continued toward us very slowly, waiting for the echo of his footsteps to recede before taking the next step. I knew I couldn't just sit there and wait for him to suck us dry. Grasping the handles of the shopping cart, I raised myself from the ground to my stiff legs. Here I was: in the presence of a hungry vampire, defenseless. Elsa stood up as well, grasping onto my arm. She was trembling. "Run," I breathed, pressing her body away. After a moment of hesitation, she turned and sprinted down the aisle as fast as she could. The vampire eyed her and glanced back at me. His lips revealed the glimmer of teeth and he was after her. This was what I presumed, so I had a package of cement mix at hand. Pursuing him, I summoned as much strength as I could in my arm and thrust the package at him. Even though I was having a burst of adrenaline, that didn't mean that my accuracy was just as powerful. I had missed the vampire's body, but managed to tip over a food stand that was in his path. That managed to capture his attention. Before he could look behind his shoulder, I was already heading for the hills, like the Road Runner being pursued by the coyote. 'Meep! Meep!' and I was off. The speed my legs were going at was incredible, but I often ran into things when I tried skidding and moving into another aisle. I looked behind to see if the vampire was in sight. He appeared from the corner all the way down the hall and ran. He vanished from sight, then appeared twenty feet closer, like he had stopped time and started it up a few seconds later. He repeated this until he was right behind me. Right then, my natural instincts took control. Not a moment after he appeared on my tail, I covered my face with my arms and let my feet fall from under me. The vampire loomed over me, but lost his balance and plummeted to the ground. Recovering from the fall, I raised myself up and staggered to one of the shelves that the walled the vampire. I thrust my back up against the upper part of the shelf and forced myself against it, using my legs as the input force. The metal shelf tipped to its side several times, but returned to the ground. I turned and forced my arms against it, then furiously kicking at it. I finally held the shelf in place at an angle and forced it to capsize. Before it could collapse, it froze in place just a few feet from the ground. That was my signal to run. Not a moment after I made it out of the danger zone, the shelf sprung up from the ground and collided with other nearby shelves. This man was not going to go down without a fight. |

I was shocked at whar Gemini just told me. "Gemi? You can't be serious. It could be a false alarm!" I start to freak out. It seemed like I was being tortured. My new sister might be pregnant, and I couldn't even be with the man I loved for fear of infecting him. "Please tell me it's a false alarm..." I plead with her. |
((lol,sorry,it was a spurr of the moment decision.id neer do that in real life.btw,my character was young when she left home,and still has a young mindset,so she doesnt know much about pregnancy.she has no clue that what shes feeling means she might be with child))
i started to cry."i dont know! i dont know whats going on...im scared and confused! eli,what do i do?" i felt tired,confused,scared,and agitated.why didnt anyone tell me what was going on?"i dont understand whats happening! i was fine last night,and now..." i cryed harder.why did eli seem so upset? if my sister was this upset,it must be something bad,right? |
I watched as they dragged Felix away. I went into a frenzy. I killed every Zombie that came after me. Finally they were gone and I was covered in blood. But I couldn't see Felix. He was bleeding so I followed his trail.

(('Tis, this is Cyraus. I'll just post everything on here since Donovan has something to do. Along with being a writer, I am also a to-be-in-future manga artist. For the last week, I've drawn Leon and Elsa. There are two collages for each of them, and one picture in which they are both in. I also have chosen the theme songs for both of them.
Don't worry, I do this often with my roleplays. More often do I draw them. Leon Leon's Theme Song Turn up the volume with Leon's song. It is very powerful. I suggest listening to the whole thing. It's a little slow at first, but gets really intense. One of my favorite songs. Elsa To answer your question, she is ten. I know she looks older, but she is pretty short. Notice her lack of womanly features. :sweat: Elsa's Theme Song This song is French, but it's about a girl's father who left her. It's very sweet and the singer is named Elsa Lunghini, who was the inspiration for her name. Leon and Elsa This one I took a more realistic approach on. Here you can definitely tell that Elsa is young since her height is compared to Leon's. I even did fancy lettering of the title. XD)) I paced around my art gallery, anxiously waiting for Kyoshi to return. A zombie and a vampire in one body... a hybrid. It would be a breakthrough for the virus' studies. Never before had there been a case of such significance with the viruses. I wondered if he were more powerful, as a mutant, than normal zombies and vampires. If he were, than I would manipulate the genes of my subjects to become hybrids like him. Then my legion could be twice as strong. Which meant that the dream of an infected world would be twice as close to coming true... The door to my art gallery opened and I turned, almost beaming. What I saw washed my enlightened face away. In the doorway were one of the scientists. I almost called out for an execution for him not being Kyoshi. Not only that, but because he did not knock before entering. He entered the room and did the boring process of bowing to me and said, "Lord Donovan, I have news of the hybrid studies..." "Yes, yes," I drawled, menacingly. "What is it?" "I wanted to inform you that there has been no openings for the possibility of hybrids. In fact, the majority of the scientists believe it cannot be done because of the stress and hazard it puts on the being's metabolism and mentality." I glared at the man and spat, "Stop wasting my time. These opinions are to no use of me. Get out." Without hesitation, the man left, leaving me fuming. Seemingly not a moment after, there was a knock on the door. I recognized Kyoshi's three hard knocks and turned to see her enter in. She knelt down to bow and I interrupted, "Just tell me. What has come upon our hybrid?" "We managed to apprehend him, Lord Donovan," she said. "The legion is bringing him along right now." I smiled in pleasure and nodded, saying, "Thank you. That is all." |
((just a few helpful pointers from one artist to another. the body proportions are off a bit. the shoulders are a bit too broad and the waist and legs are too small. try making elsa's face shorter and more round with wider eyes, and make her shoulders slimmer. i always use how-to-draw books as references. the best i've found are Manga Mania and the other how-to-draw books from the same author. my sig was all drawn freehand then scanned and colored on the comp if you can believe it.))
I couldn't take it anymore. I had always worried about infecting Ken, the risk was high as long as I was around him. Gemini didn't have to worry about that because she and Kaleb were both infected. I fell to my knees in shock of what Gemini had told me. Was it still possible for us? The infection changed our bodies; the way they moved and worked, everything. I also thought about how my blood ahd changed Gemini. Could it be possible that My blood held the secret? I knew that scientists had been searching for a cure since the outbreak. I was the only other mutation other than Ember and now, becuase of my blood, Gemini. Another thought popped into my mind, one that had come up in my thoughts many times before but I had just pushed them away. Could I even infect a human? I had been around Ken and he had even kissed me many times, and he hadn't been infected. |
i gasped at the thought.pregnant? i was only 18...then eli fell to her knees."eli? eli are you ok? oh,im so sorry! i know this must be hard for you,me showing signs of pregnancy when you...you probably havent even...you know...because hes human...im sorry.i wish it could be you.but..." i thought for a moment."this happened after i drank from you.before that,just after i was infected,i went to see one of the remaining doctors,and he told me that pregnancy would be impossible for me.so,it must be your blood! im still vampiric,but your blood made me human enough to bear a child.that means you could,too.and,if hes not infected yet,after being around all of us,and even kissing you,then ill bet either he's somehow immune,or you just cant spread the disease! you might even be the cure!" i was becoming exited."eli,we have to find out! isnt there someone who can run some tests? kaleb went to school to be a scientist,but...i dont know if he ever finisheed.oh my goodness! kaleb! eli,what am i going to tell kaleb?! he'll never let me stay here!"

Gemini starts saying what i was thinking. And then she freaks out about telling Kaleb. "If he loves you then he will care for you and the baby you might be carying. There is also a possibility that you aren't so don't worry about it too much." I smile reasuring to her. "I think we should see if Kaleb could help. If there is a chance of of a cure then I think we should go for it, no matter the costs." |

i started to calm down."ok,ok,right.so,ill go get kaleb and-ek!" i broke off as kaleb appeared. whats going on? you have been taking a while... he gave me the adoreable pout that i could never resist.it made him look like a child who was told no by thier parent and was upset about it."kaleb! i-i have something to tell you,and something to ask..." hm? alright,go ahead. "w-well,first of all,i think i might be...pregnant..." you...you are carrying my child? "quite possibly." he walked over and gently hugged me. i am happy,gem.but how will we take care of it? these are hard times to be bringing a baby into... "i know,but,heres the thing,see we might have an answer to that.we think eli's blood might be the secret to cring the disease,or at least nutralizing it like it did with me.but we need someone to check,and we want to know if its even possibly for her to spread the disease.can you find out for us?" a cure...it could be possile.hm...i will do a few basic tests,but i am unqualified to do much more than that.if i find anything...well,we will have to work from there.eli,would you accompany me to the medical tent? |

I nod. "Of course. If there is anything that can be done about the outbreak then I will do anything." I couldn't stop thinking about the possibility of a cure. This would mean that I could be with Ken once again, like old times. |
"Eli, Felix has been taken. I'm about fifty miles outside of the infected city. I need help." She said in her mind. Hoping she would come.

i followed as kaleb led eli to the medical tent.once inside,he asked one of the nurses for some privacy,which she allowed.then he found a needle and turned around.i hope you are not shy of needles,ill need to take a blood sample.from you,too,gem.ill need to see the difference between the blood of an original mutation versus the blood of a newly mutated infected.ill also need a sample of blood from a regular infected,which means ill need my own.it would be better if i had the blood of an infected who was once human,but i dont see that you have any of those around here,so my own will have to do. he explained as he prepared the needle,and eli's and my arms."theres alot of research going into thiss,isnt there?" yes,and its all very subjective,there are too many variables.for instance,your pregnancy may affect your blood,causing a difference in the end result.but i will do my best.it would be nice to see this place go back to the way it was. he stuck the needle in eli's arm,drew blood,and pulled it out.then he went to set the needle down on a sterile suface,and then got a new one.i gulped and got ready.i had always hated needles.

Climbing the steps of the frozen escalator was like racing up the steeps of a mountain. I staggered at each stair and often my foot would slip off of the edges of them. The fact that I was running for my life and struggling up a staircase made me even more panicky, causing me to trip more. It seemed to take forever to reach the top. I didn't want to, but I looked over my shoulder only to see that the vampire was flying up the steps. Struggling against my stricken human state, I forced myself to speed up another five miles per hour. All of the thoughts that were moving around in my head were: Shit... move faster... shit... you're gonna die.. shit! Skidding around a corner, I threw myself into one of the shops' glass entrances. Doors had never hurt so goddamn much before, but I was able to recover from the pain of a thousand little shards of glass in my skin quickly. I threw everything in my sight at the doorway, whether it was racks of clothes or boxes of shoes. I doubted that any of it would faze the pursuing vampire. Hell, I wasn't even sure if he'd entered the store yet. Once I had run out of things I could throw, I realized that I just set myself up for death. I was now trapped in the room. At least out in the mall's hallways, I had somewhere to hide, somewhere to run. Before I could even slap myself in the face for being such a stupid bastard, I felt a blow to my chest and I was airborne backwards. I hit the wall of the store, and to my glorious luck, that ended up to be glass that was hovering over the mall's first floor. I saw my vision whiz from the ceiling of the store to the ceiling of the mall to the store across from me to the ground of the mall. The ground did not rise up to my face as I expected it to. Right at that moment, I felt a blast of heat shoot from my leg to throughout my whole body. A thundering scream echoed through the mall, ricocheting off of the walls to the floors and the ceilings. I realized that that scream came out of my mouth as I was hanging from a shard of glass that had pierced my calf and was stuck against my flesh. I could hear the sickening screech of the glass grinding against my bone as I dangled twenty feet from the ground. My leg was lifted from the glass pulled back into the store. The vampire tossed me across the floor like a rag doll. I gasped and moaned as I tried to scoot away from him. He walked toward me, leisurely, mockingly. "All out of options, are ya?" he scoffed, making each step slow as to aggravate the sound of his foot crunching against the scattered broken glass. As much as I didn't want to admit it, it was true. I had nothing to defend myself or threaten him with. "Too bad... you ended up as being much more of a challenge than any other victims." His eyes were as sharp as the glass he was stepping on. Just like that, they rose above my head and widened. I leaped out of my skin when I heard the roaring of a machine gun tearing up the torso of the vampire. Once all the clothing was removed and all flesh exposed, the gun halted its rain of bullets and the vampire collapsed. I put my head down on the floor and looked behind to see a woman wielding a TMP with Elsa by her side. The woman lowered her gun and looked down at me with a stern, but concerned look. She had a darker tone to her skin, but lighter than Elsa's. "Are you alright?" she asked, her voice laced with a Hispanic accent. I mustered a nod out of my body and looked at the horrified face of Elsa. I smirked and muttered, "I think you're saving my life more that I am yours..." Her distraught face lit up with a wry smile. |

and to let everybody know, my mother had our internet shut off while we were on vacation and she won't pay to have it turned back on so i might not be able to get on all that often. at least i have panera... for now... until my battery dies or i freze to death.)) I look away when Kaleb draws my blood. I thought about how strange it was that even though we were vampires, and supposedly indestructable, we could get cut and bleed still. Suddenly I heard Ember's voice in my head. "Ember? Is that really you? Why did you run off like that! You made everybody worry. Especially Felix. Where are you? Please come back to the camp. I have great news to tell you!" I look at Kaleb, he was now drawing Gemini's blood and I could tell she didn't like it. "I just heard Ember." I tell her partially to get her mind off the needle in her arm. |
I'm tracking Felix. He was taken by zombies. Someone ordered them to grab him. I need to tell you something also. I said excitedly. I had been searching everywhere for Felix and I still had no clues, except for his fadora, tattered and covered in blood.

i jumped,luckily the needle was already out of my arm."you heard her? what happened,is she ok? where is she,we'll go find her!" i was so anxious,i would have run out of there right then if i knew where to go. easy,gemini.we'll get to her,just calm down. "ok..."

I saw Eli, Gemini and Kaleb walk into the medical tent. I wanted to be with Eli, but i had things i needed to do before we could go check out the place that Eli had been talking about. I walked out of the tent and slung my rifle over my shoulder. I walked over to a group of HUMVEEs that were sitting off to the side of the medical tent. I could see that there were two or three with generators hooked to the back of them. "Hey you, soldier" I shout at a passing soldier. He walks up to me, I point at the generators "Do those still work?" "I really don't know Sergeant. I can find out." I nod at him. "You go do that, report to me as soon as you find out." He nods at me and he goes off to find whoever he was looking for. I walked back to my 915 and started it up. I went through all the start up checks and made sure that everything was ready to go. I was definatly driving my truck when we went into the city |

Unwillingly I gave up my search and started running back to camp. I stopped at a gas station and grabbed an ungly bulky jacket to hide my baby bump. I arrived at the camp and looked around.

i sensed as soon as ember was back in the camp.i jumped up and started running. where are you going?! "ember is here! i have to go see her!" i yelled over my shoulder.i got to her first,and hugged her."ohmygod,im so glad youre ok! i honestly thought you would get hurt or something,and just sitting here was driving me crazy! are you ok? what did you have to tell us? i have news,too!"

i was confused for a moment,and then smiled."just last night.im nervousthough.dont vampire pregnancys last only a couple weeks or something? plus,kaleb is a pureblood..." then i perked up."so whats your news? or does t have anything to do with the tiny kick i felt when i hugged you?" i smiled at her.
