i looked over at felix,almost in a trance.another flash of memory hit me,this time broadcasting to him as well.myself a bit younger,planning to leave for america.my brother,helping me pack.our father finding out,attacking me.ive had enough! you are a shamefull thing to our family! the only place you're going is in the ground! he was drunk,again.my brother,jumping in the way,trying to reason with him.he would never hurt his favorite.but he did.our father,holding a bloody knife,standing over my brother,yelling at me.look at what youve caused! leave! leave and never return! do not bother to disgrace us by coming to his funeral! a funeral,me,watching from afa.an empty casket,the body had dissapeared.me,just after the infection,being cut by two boys,leaving a cross shaped scar.i couldnt remember his face,his name.i had just recieved a letter that my parents were dead.and that kaleb knew where my brother's body went.kaleb was a vampire... i gasped."oh my god...you...tell me! tell me who changed you,who made you a vampire!" i had to know.if it was kaleb...but that was impossible.wasnt it?

Cat sat crosslegged on the bed in the room which Yvonne had suggested when she had first arrived. She held the cuddly koala bear toy in her arms and she stared out of the window at the sky. The door was ajar slightly. A guilty knot was tightening in her stomach.

She was thinking about how she could tell the others about what she was after it had been so long. She had to make sure she had an escape route if things got really bad as she knew they'd get angry. After all, werewolves were monsters and monsters are not welcome in a house full of kids. Plus they'd be even angrier because she was only just telling them now, and not when she arrived.

I found Felix and Gemini where I had left them. Gemini didn't seem right and she kept talking about strange things about her brother.

"Gemini, calm down. Tell me what's the matter." I say to her as I gently rub her back with the palm of my hand.
"Felix? What's wrong with her? What is she talking about?" I turn to felix with a confused look on my face.

Once I headed in the direction of the dining room for dinner, Yvonne passed by me and began trotting up the stairs. "Where are you going?" I asked, regretting the question as soon as it left my mouth. I mentally scolded myself for acting obsessive with that question. She turned around and smirked saying, "Wouldn't you like to know... I'm heading upstairs to invite Cat to lunch." With her smirk turning to a frown and her eyes widening, she held up her hands in caution and slowly backed up the steps. "Don't worry, Leon. I'll be back down in just a little bit. I'm not going to leave... you don't have to worry." I blushed and muttered, "Very funny." She cackled as she bounced up the stairs. Sighing, I returned to walking down the hallway toward the tables.

I remembered the events unfolding, as Gemini projected the thoughts towards me. I was stunned. Gemini was my sister... "I... I can't remember... who turned me," Then I noticed Eli asking me something, what was going on maybe? "I don't know... Eli..." I told her, as I wasn't quite sure.

I sat silently as felicity fell asleep then stood and walked over to felix, eli, and Gemini. "Hi." I said silently to Felix looking down at my feed.

I looked as the others left me all alone. I didnt really know what to do now that i was in the family. It really didnt feel like it but i walked out of the cave anyways towards the others. They seemed to be congregated around Felix and Gemini.

I pushed into Gemini's mind and immediately visions of her past hit me so hard and fast I gasped.

"Gemini and Felix?" I mutter in a trance. It was hard on the mind and body to force into somebody else's mind and I was already feeling faint.

I broke away before I became too weak.
"Gemini and Felix are family!" I gasp.

I looked between the both of them with shock and confusion.

i gasped at the pain as all the memoried came flooding back,memories of my brother that i had surpressed long ago.my brother...i fell on the ground in shock.my brother was alive...and here,with me! "felix...i remember now.my brother,the reason you reminded me so much of him...you ARE him..."fast as lightening i was hugging him,being careful of his arm."you're alive! you're alive and here and gods you dont even remember me,do you?" i was crying now.tears of joy,shock,and sorrow,all at once.

It had been a few hours since we started searching the area around the hotel. We had found a few dead bodies that we confirmed were bodies of infected that used to live in the area. The hotel was completely searched, cleared, and made double sure that everything was cleaned off or at least clear of anything that could infect anyone. There were a few spots in the upper floors. We made outposts on the roof and placed snipers there to watch over the operations. We took all the dead bodies and threw them on the back of the flatbed that we had with us, we took them to the edge of town and burned them. It was going along smoothly, and even the electric in the hotel was still in good enough shape to still run when we hooked up the generators and got the old generators that were still in the hotel running as well. When the sun started going down I called everyone except for the snipers in.
"Ok, we've been doing good. We have a safe zone and we should be pretty safe for the night, but to take extra precautions, I don't want anyone to sleep on the ground level tonight, just to make sure that nothing can happen. There is to be a guard on the stairwells and the front and back doors. We will resume clearing the area tomorrow when the sun is up. Understand?"
"Yes Sergeant." They all respond. I could tell that some of them were itching to get a good night's sleep in an actual bed for the first time in a long time.
"Ok. Good, but I call the best room. No ifs, ands, or buts." The entire crowd bursts out laughing. "You watch, someone try to take my room. I bet someone on the second floor will hear what happens up there." I start walking away towards the hotel and so do the rest of the soldiers, all talking excitedly. It WILL be nice to get an actual night's sleep in a decent bed. I walk up the stairs and I get almost to the top of the building. I walk in to my room and shut the door, making sure that I locked it behind me.

I pull off my gear and ACUs, crawl into the bed, and I am out before my head even gets near the pillow.

"What!" I cried holding Felicity on my hip, she was big enough to clutch onto my shirt, and was mumbling to herself as if she could talk already.

"Felix is Gemini's brother. For real." I repeat.
"Gemini thought her brother died long ago but he was changed instead and forgot everything. Gemini, it seems, forced herself to forget those painful memories and didn't realize that Felix was her brother because she had forgotten what he looked like. I only learned this because I forced myself into her mind and into her memories... I don't suggest doing that though."

My head still hurt a little and I needed to sit down.

i nodded at eli's explanation."thats it in a nutshell.i cant believe it...wait! why didn't kaleb tell me?! if what he told me is true,then he's the one who changed felix into a vampire.is it possible that he didnt recognize him?" thats exactly what happened.im very sorry that i didnt realize it sooner.felix,its nice to see you again,although you dont remember me.im the one who changed you,mostly because gemini was so hurt at your loss,and because i felt like i had lost a brother as well. i jumped at the sound of kaleb's voice."kaleb! when did you get here?" ive been trying to get here for a while,but there are alot of strange mutations in the area.i was nearly killed too many times to count.i also gained information on the whereabouts of a certain two people,i believe thier names are elsa and leon. "really? wow.oh,i feel sick..."

"Oh wow." I breathed Leaning against the wall and sitting down.

I nearly jump at the mention of Elsa and Leon's names.
"They are alive! Where are they!" I nearly shout excitedly.

they're in a home in a nearby infected city.a family lives there with other refugees and a werewolf that hasn't told them she's a werewolf.they're both safe,but missing thier friends. "so we can go get them! thats-" i broke off as a dizzy spell hit me.i swayed and nearly fell over,luckily being caught by kaleb.you're not going anywhere as unsafe as that. "but,but..."

"No he's right, you watch Felicity, and yourself. Me and Eli will go get them." Ember said handing Felicity over.

i nodded."ok,i guess you're right.anyway,this will give me a chance to see firsthand what taking care of a baby is like." i took felicity and smiled at her."she's so cute.i hope my baby is that adoreable."

"She's growing so fast, It's hard to believe she is only a few days old." She sighed kissing Felicity's head. "You ready?"

I couldn't wait to find Leon and especially Elsa.

"But won't that be dangerous? If there are other people and they are trying to keep the infected out, what makes us think they will let something like us in?" I chime in. I was a little doubtful about this journey.

Suddenly i got an idea. I turned to Shilo.
"Umm... Sis? That sounds so strange to be calling you that." I giggle a little. "Would you like to join us? You know more about lycans than us and from what Kaleb said, there is one there. I bet she's probably scared and lonely by herself in a place like that." I ask her.

"What I was thinking is that since the three of us look human enough, we might be able to get close enough to get elsa and Leon. But we will have to come up with the same story to tell the humans in case they ask." I explain as I turn to the others and wait for Shilo's reply.

"Sisters, looking for what's left of our friends. We heard that they were living there and decided to come and get them." I suggested.

i spoke up."you should use some truth.there was an attack and you got seperated.the best lies always hold truth in them.i hate to ie,its strictly against my moral code,but now seems like an acception."

"Yeah, your right, That does sound better." I said smiling.
