"I think that should work. If one went alone they might get suspicious as to how we made it there alive and unharmed, but if we went as a group then it will back us up. We will have to carry some guns as props." I add in.
"But Gemini will still have to stay behind with the baby. It will be too dangerous. Felicity grows more quickly than a normal baby and I don't want to risk Gemini having hers while we are there. It will be harder to explain how we got there if we have children with us."

I hoped that everything would go smoothly. Since our eyes were mostly all normal colors and Ember and I didn't drink blood, the humans were more likely to believe we were human also.

"Okay, well we can't take like big weapons, maybe a few pistols and a shot gun." I said thinking.

i nodded."yeah,that should work." i looked at the child in my arms."how about we go play a game?"

I smile a little.

After hours of running with Kaleb leading us we came across a city. There were sounds comming from a house farther away so we went in that direction. Before we got within sight of the house we stopped. Kaleb handed us the guns we had grabbed before leaving and I made sure that Shilo and Ember had one with them before continuing on.

There was a large house and it was full of people, refugees. I slowly walked up to the door and knocked. The sound echoed through the house and everybody inside became silent.

I stared at the place they were at and took the gun Eli handed to me. "You worried?" I asked.

"Not worried as much as scared." I reply to Ember.
"It's been a long time since I've been around this many humans, and I've missed Elsa."

"I know, I can feel every heart beat and hear almost every thought." I sighed shaking my head.

"It's a little nerve wreaking isn't it. Just think of what would happen if they all found out we were infected." I mention.
"We get in, get Elsa and Leon, maybe the other lycan if they will come, then get out as fast as we can. deal?"

"Deal. Lets get this over with." I sighed running a hand through my hair.

After lunch, I idled around with Yvonne for a while. We watched as everyone played the popular Guesstures game. Usually, Yvonne would play with them (she was master at the game, with deciphering hints and indicating them), but now she just observed next to me. I felt very uneasy, yet comforted with her by my side. The previous women never showed as much affection towards me as she did, but she did respect my space (as none before did). But whenever she did part, I felt a intangible emptiness inside of me. I was actually connected with this woman in another way other than sex. I sat there, thinking about it. I'd never known anything otherwise until now. It was a very irritating confusion. I was near my thirties and hadn't experience actual love.

I broke away from my mind once Yvonne stood to her feet and thundered, "Callete!" The room stood as still as death at her exclamation. Barely audible to the ears were a few knocks on the door. After leaping out of my seat, she and I stormed out of the living room into the kitchen. I wielded myself with an automatic shotgun and her with her precious M2 machine gun. At three, we pushed the grandfather clock out of the way and attacked the locks. After opening the multiple doors, the entrance was cleared to reveal...

I don't know how, but I choked on my own breath. Right there in the way of the exit were... Eleadah and Ember. Realizing my hesitation, Yvonne pushed me out of the way and proceeded with her stranger policy, pointing the gun at them and shouted who they were. After regaining composure, I stared at the two with awe, trying to make words leave my mouth. All that I could do was yell, "Elsa..." Yvonne turned her face toward me with a stricken face. "I know them, Yvonne, I know them," I said, trying to stifle the laughs that escaped me. I could've jumped up and clicked my heels at the sight of them. That was nothing compared to what Elsa had done.

She cautiously walked into the kitchen and looked at me with perplexity. Giggling furiously, I indicated the door and she followed where I was pointing. Her eyes doubling in size, she opened her mouth and let out a scream. As she shrilled, Elsa made a bee-line for them and basically pounced on Eleadah. She buried her face in her chest and sobbed. This was a time where I hated being an middle-aged man. I wanted to do the same exact thing. I just wanted to hug them and cry. I wanted to cry so badly that I started to. I quickly rubbed my eyes, hoping that no one would notice the big, tough military man shedding tears. Apparently Yvonne did when she wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me.

I woke up some hours later. It felt good to get a full night's on an actual bed. I got out of the bed and got a shower, taking my time. I threw on my uniform and gear on. I walk up to the roof and sit on the edge, looking out over the landscape in front of me.
