i was watchint the scene unfold in my mind as i put felicity down for a nap.i sat quietly and watched,trying not to laugh and wake her up.it seemed my visions were right after all. |

The door opened and once again there were guns pointed at us. as soon as Leon saw us he called for Elsa, who in turn screamed and ran to me crying. I held her close to me while she cried into my chest. "I've missed you so much." I whisper in Elsa's ear. I look up so see Leon trying not to cry. There was another woman beside him and she put her arms around his neck in a hug. "We've been looking for our friends and when my sisters and I got word of this place that refugees were taken in we thought that it would be the best place to look." I explain to the people at the door. |
"Yes, imagine our surprise, We had thought they were certainly dead." I said patting Eli's back.

I'm not really that embarrassed about crying in front of others, actually. I've never thought that shedding tears was weak in any way. But I'm not really emotional, either.)) Taking her face from her chest, Elsa looked up at Eli with glimmering green eyes and said, "I've missed you a lot too." She snuggled against Eli again. "So much..."After listening to Eli, Yvonne looked to me and I nodded in agreement. She smiled and lowered her weapon, saying, "Well, it's a good thing you chose to search here." I noticed that both Eleadah and Ember were carrying weapons, which confused me, but then it would look suspicious for the two walking around in a plagued town unarmed. I had almost laughed at what Ember said about us being 'certainly dead'. I was going to say 'So did I', but I held back my tongue, not wanting to ruin the moment. Elsa looked up with wide eyes and murmured, "We have so much to tell you..." I chuckled sheepishly, not looking forward to reliving the hardships that we've endured throughout the months. |

I carried Elsa into the house and waited for Shilo and Ember to join me inside. "We've been through some tough times while you were away Leon. Though I doubt you had it easy yourself." I said eying him. He had more injuries than the last time I had seen him before he had run away. Standing in this house full of people, i felt odly at ease, yet it didn't feel quite right. I could still sense Kaleb around the city. "Kaleb, it looks like we might be here a while. I'm worried about Gemini so if you could, go back to her. We will try to get back as soon as we can. And let her know we got here safely and were welcomed in easily." I told him. |
I followed Eli inside, looking around slightly worried. I could sense the other Lycan in here, but I couldn't pick her out amongst all the other brain waves.

I looked around as the others left. Kaleb was showing them to whereever they needed to go. Gemini was staying with the baby who seemed to be cooing in her arms. It was a nice image. "Hey gem... What are they doing anyways. who else is in the family that they would have to get?" I said looking around to make sure i didnt need to be on my toes. I started to sniff the air and smelled some kind of odor that wasnt familiar. Now i knew i had to stay on my toes to protect Gemini, her baby and Embers baby. ((Gem is preg isnt she from what i remember from earlier)) |

kaleb heard eli's message and started back towards the cabe.meanwhile at the cave... i looked up at shiloh's question."well,i dont rightly know.i've never met leon and elsa,because just after i came into the camp it was attacked,and leon took elsa and ran away.i saw them in visions after eli mutated me,thats how i know thier names and where they are,but i dont know them personally.i do know that they are family,and so they must be reunited with the rest." |

I made a sarcastic chuckle at Eli's statement. I had forgotten what the word 'easy' meant. Yvonne welcomed the two young women in and seated them at a table. "You want some coffee?" she asked. "I'll get you some coffee. Or tea. Whichever you prefer." She walked off and everyone surrounding us began to introduce themselves. During the ten minutes of various introductions from little kids and adult refugees, Elsa was on edge, eager to tell Eleadah and Ember about our adventures (ordeals, in my view). Whenever Elsa had something to say, she would discuss it at a constant one hundred miles per hour, seemingly not taking any breaths during the story. Finally after everyone had introduced themselves and Yvonne had come back with the tea and coffee, Elsa launched into it. By her accurate and descriptive details, I concluded this kid had a freaking photographic memory. She went on to tell about the three grueling days that we spend in the unforgiving wilderness, including the encounter with the infected deer (and my multiple injuries coming from it). Elsa spent a good time discussing how we had taken resort in Kenneth's cabin. Elsa practically repeated word for word what he claimed he was doing as a virologist searching for a cure. She spoke dolefully as she explained what he actually had planned for her and me, with her face downcast and her hands gripping her skirt. She even remembered how I was shot with a dose of rock salt with a shotgun. She lightened up as she spoke of my bravery when I had threatened Kenneth with the dynamite. "We escaped from the cabin," she said, but then lowered her voice as she went on, "but then the man threw a knife at Leon and it hit him. Leon quickly threw the dynamite at him, but he caught it. But it had exploded right there and we ran away." "The dynamite detonated every other explosive or flammable item in that house," I murmured, looking off to the side. "There was screaming from those animals Kenneth had tested on," she said, grimacing. "It was terrible, but Leon carried me as he ran." She then explained how I told her to leave because of the contaminants in the air from the infected animals when I had collapsed. But when she had come back, I was unconscious but she was convinced I was dead. "But he woke up and we walked into this city. We went inside a mall and we took some stuff, but then a vampire came after us. Leon told me to run and I did. I went inside a bathroom and Yvonne found me. I told her that we had to find Leon before the vampire got him. We looked for him for a bit before we heard him screaming..." Elsa looked to me and said, "You never did tell me why you were screaming." I hesitated for a moment, then said, "The vampire struck me in a store on the second floor and I flew into a glass window. A shard of glass caught my leg and I... hung there for quite a bit..." Elsa blinked multiple times and turned away, frowning. "The vampire was about to kill Leon, but Yvonne killed him first. Then she brought us here." Several kids had been circling us as Elsa told the story. They all echoed, "Wow." |

"Well i would help with the knowing part but i just entered the family. We might want to start following them now though... before my old family comes back. I dont think theyll be to welcoming anymore." I said to Gemini trying to figure out what to do. The pack would be back from hunting soon and thats all she could think of when she heard some of the howlings in the distance. |
((that's alright. seems everyone else has written about just me and Ember being there anyways. lol. at least gemini has some company and doesn't have to go poof for now or post by herself. lol))
Elsa finished her story and I was shocked. "I'm surprised that you are even alive after all that Leon." I tease him a little. "So Elsa, did you have fun with Leon even though things like that happened?" I ask Elsa. That would make Leon feel better about everything if Elsa had at least enjoyed herself. Yvonne sets a cup in front of me and I look up at her and smile a little. "I'll have tea please." It was at times like this that I was glad I was a mutation and could eat real food. |
"Just water please, coffee unsettles my stomach." I said smiling as I patted my stomach, thankful that there was no signs that I had given birth not even a week ago.

I made an unusual squeaky titter at Eleadah and said, in an equally high voice, "Me too." Yvonne smothered her laughter as she replaced Eleadah's cup of coffee with a cup of tea. Elsa almost bounced from the solemn state she was in and said, "Mm-hm. Even though it was tough before, when we got here, everything was great." She then went on into another extended story about the house's games, homeschooling, and the friends she made. A few times she had left the room and returned with a young friend. Her 'bestest bud' was a Latino girl around her age named Catalina.
Yvonne indicated two cups and asked, "Coffee or Tea?" "I'll take the coffee," I replied. She displayed packets of sugar and cream and asked, "Sugar, cream, or both?" "I take it black." Yvonne narrowed her eyes and muttered, "O-oh... So that's why you're so pessimistic. You drink bitter coffee..." I blinked and she retorted, "Drinking bitter coffee, you bitter old man. No sweetness, just bitterness. You cynical, pessimistic moron." My brows furrowed, but I had a small, perplexed smile on. The edges of Yvonne's lips rose a bit and she cooed, "I'll sweeten it up for ya." She licked her finger and dipped it into the coffee, making a low 'Tsssssss' sound. I gave her a baffled look and she cried, in a seductive voice, "ĦAy, caramba!" I felt my body temperature rise a bit. "Am I embarrassing you, Leon?" she asked, a wicked smile on her face. I didn't answer. We just stared at each other; she had a provocative smile and I had a dull frown. |
