Aki glanced over at Ember and Alana and also noticed that they were probably as tired as he was. He sighed in relief when he heard the boat finally come in contact from the water. He knew that they would probably have to push the boat out a little further out yet in order to actually use it, but he figured a quick rest wouldn't hurt despite their time frame. They still had a bit of time left; he figured it would be enough that they could rest and still get the boat out and get everyone a fairly safe distance away from the island before things started to explode.

He took a seat beside Alana on the ground and rubbed his left arm slightly trying to relieve the small pang of pain he was starting to feel from it. He knew that despite his lack of nutrients and hydration he shouldn't have been as weak as he currently felt or as tired, though he was able to mask the full extent of it, making it seem he was only a little tired. "You should take a rest for a few moments too Ember, you don't want to over strain your body" he said calmly with another sigh. He was definitely ready to leave this place and leave this craziness behind, but he knew there was still a good long road ahead of them yet.

Ember smiled and sat down besides Aki. She was desperatly in the need of some water and Nutrients. Her small frail body wasn't used to this kind of activity, In fact she rarely ever left the house. Both her parents were doctors they kept her inside in a germ free room. She was homeschooled and everything. But untill she turned 17 she went to a normal high school, then she started having attack. Her parents took her to the doctors and he said that she had some type of lung and heart Cancer, Going through Cemo twice a month, Then they began to keep her in the house.....Sighing she put her head between her knees and breathed.

Aki was staring off into the sea when he again glanced at the others, catching sight of and noting the Ember didn't look so well off. Not that any of them were probably well off considering all that had occurred until now, but she seemed a bit more so. "Are you alright?" he asked a bit concerned. By now he had stopped rubbing his left arm, although it still hurt slightly, and now decided to focus on the others rather than his own sore muscles for the time being.

"Yeah, I'm just not used to being in the wind." She said looking up at him with a small smile. She didn't like people seeing her weak. She stood up and sighed. "We better get this in the water before she comes." She said softly.

"Perhaps instead you and Celestryn should just keep an eye out for the old woman. I'm sure between the rest of us we can get the boat out far enough in the water. After all neither one of you two should be worsening the conditions your currently in" Aki said concerned. He knew that between him, Alana and Holly they probably would be able to get the boat out in time still, but he did realize that while they were pushing they would need someone to alert them if the old woman did come out.

He had been glancing over his shoulder quite often just to make sure as well, but his attention was split between that and pushing the boat in the right direction which meant his eyes would have to leave the house. This thought had made him a little uneasy anyways, so he figured with those two keeping an eye out he could relax about that a little bit and focus more on the task of the boat. "That is if there's no objections?" he said rubbing the back of his head. He did want to make sure though, that the others wouldn't mind this arrangement either.

ALana took a breath adn looked at him. Her green eyes were watering up. She was so tired all she wanted to do was sleep. She was so tired. She looked around the island. She stood up and took a deep breath and began to push the boat again. All Sh wanted to do was go home. She was sick of this adventure.

Aki took that as a cue to start pushing the boat again. He had noticed that she seemed rather tired as well. "Perhaps you should rest just a bit more, it's moving a bit easier now that it's in the water" he said with the same concern he had shown towards Ember.

He remember Celestryn's confession of affection for him, but like any other guy he had met he was rather clueless about the other two. He still wasn't sure exactly how to reply to Celestryn either. For now though he couldn't think about that. He was tired, and the girls seemed just as tired so the first priority was to get them away. Despite the small pangs of pain coursing through his arms Aki started to push harder to try and take some of the strain off of Alana.

Hollu wasn't paying any attention to the others. She was to busy watching the house go up in flames. "Weren't there other children in there?" She said turning around to see the boat already out in the ocean. 'Crap!' She thought running to the shore line. "WAIT FOR ME!" She screamed. She pulled off her boots and headed into the water. She swam straight at the boat but didn't know if she could make it. She stuck her head up out of the water to see how far away the boat was. "STOP!!!" She screamed again treading water.

Aki watched a little bit amused as the girl named Holly ran out into the ocean. "Uhhh what are you running towards exactly? We're back here" he said with a quiet nervous laugh as he continued pushing the boat. He did grimace slightly at the thought of the skeletons of the children they saw in the basement. He had been doing his best to try and forget that image, but the mentioning of children brought it to the front of his mind once more.

Ember stood up and turned towards the house, She watched as th house slowly began to crumble into it's self and the front door which was furthest away from them began to open. She could barly see the old women coming out through the smoke. "Ummm...Aki, we have company." She said holding her side and weezing. She turned and stumbled to the boat and began to help push it into the ocean. Finally they got the boat into the ocean and she climbed in and passed out still weezing.

Alana climbed into the boat quickly pulling Cely in with her. SHe was not doing well. They could only hope she would survive.

THe old lady saw the children escapeing and headed towards them. She had with her a axe. She walked toward them with an eveil grin on her face.

"Come back my dears I have a suprise for you."

Aki turned his head and grimaced as he saw the old woman. As the boat was pushed into the water he turned facing towards the old woman. "And if I had something sharp and pointy I'd have something for you too, seeing as I don't however just do us a favor and pass out from the smoke for awhile" he calmly shouted as he waited until everyone else was in the boat. Once they were he climbed in himself and quickly started working on getting the boat started and moving as soon as possible.

He glanced over at Celestryn and Ember and saw that neither one of them looked too good at the moment. From what he could tell Alana, Holly and himself were probably in the best shape at the moment, though if there was a confrontation with the axe wielding crazy old lady, he was sure that would be instantly fixed.

"You need to hold down the throddle and pull that string connected to the rudder, Hurry." Ember chocked out coughing. She was not doing well, now that the salty ocean wind was blowing into her lungs that have been weakened by the Chemo she felt as if she was dieing. She hated this feeling, and now that she had no one to give her the medicine she felt as if she surely would die........

"Try to hang on just a bit longer" Aki said as he quickly followed the instructions that were given to him. He was tired himself as what was once a small pang of pain in his arms grew to a larger pang of pain that seemed to spread throughout his entire body. At the moment he was starting to reach his current limit, which was much lower than if his body was completely nourished and hydrated, but he would keep going as long as he was able regardless.

"You wouldn't happen to have anything on you that you could possibly chuck at the old woman with the axe if she comes to close would you?" he asked Alana and Holly jokingly.

Embers Eyes fluttered shut for a few seconds and she sudenly saw flashes of the old women crying over a dead child. It was wrapped in a blanket and covered in blood; "Look, it's a little boy." She said to the doctor, Ember saying it with out meaning to. "The baby is dead," The doctor said taking the child from her....Ember opened her eyes and screamed. "Her children, they died. All of them died." She said as tears fell from her eyes.

Alana growled as she dug around in the boat. She grabbed a boathook and tossed it at her. She wasent gonna giver her a chance to get to close. The hook speared her through the bottom of her leg and she fell to the ground.

"Stop! I just wanted to love you." She screamed at them as she tried to free her leg.

Celestryn Silently stood back from everyone and looked away "In a way.. I feel bad for the old woman, then again.. Its bad for her to lock up children, stripped naked.." She whispered to herself hoping the others hadnt heard, but then noticing the axe her thoughts changed. With her knowledge she made a bow with the elements that were in use, and took something that was like a small harpoon. She stretched the bow and aimed. Releasing the mini-harpoon it flew forward, but did it hit?

"What part of dragging people by the hair, forcing us to do things against our will, threatening us, punishing by stripping people naked and throwing them in cages if they disobeyed, trying to drug us with the food and drink you offered, and turning us to an age that we actually weren't screams out love?!" Aki demanded loudly so the woman could hear him. He seemed to almost calmly watch as the woman was injured by first the boat hook and then possibly by the harpoon looking object that Celestryn fired at her.

He turned his gaze to Ember as he heard what she had essentially screamed. "Perhaps there was a reason for that. And even so her mind has become a bit too twisted now, which that may or may not have caused. Either way she shouldn't have taken us away from families we already have. Judging from the skeletons that we saw in the basement she may have been doing this for quite a while. Who knows just how many innocent people she's killed, perhaps her actual children would have ended up the same way if they lived. Who knows though?" he said rather calmly despite all things. He did feel a small amount of remorse for her, but after the ills she had already committed against them, he would not excuse her for her actions.

Alana sat down in the boat and watched everyone. She saw the harpoon stab the old lady through the chest. She saw the woman drop down dead. Or at least she hoped she was dead. She sat back in the boat and closed her eyes. Hopefully this would be the end of there journy. Or would it?
