Toya stumbles back into view, and falls on her butt, crying pitifully. "There were spiders every where!" She wailed. "I came to check what the matter was and I found spiders! HOrrible HORRIBLE spiders!!!" She felt dirty and stood up again, brushing herself off for the millionth time. "Please tell me theres no more on me..."

The moment Kyo heard screaming from the room he had previously seen the girl Ember go in he made his way straight there. He saw Ember sitting on the floor pale as could be talking about seeing a little girl with no eyes.

His gaze then went to the other one, Toya he believed she said her name was, who was talking about spiders. He looked and didn't see any spiders on her. "There's none on you" he said calmly trying to calm the frantic girl.

He looked back at Ember. "Are you sure that's what you saw and that maybe it wasn't something like a sheet with holes? he asked calmly. He thought that if perhaps he offered an alternate idea of what she saw she would calm down. He wasn't one to really believe in ghost specifically, though he did believe that there were spirits that watched over people, but never made themselves into visible manifestations.

"I'm not stupid, there was a little girl there. I could see her just as I see you and me." Ember said calming herself down. She felt insulted that this man would even suggest that. She looked down at her watch it was 3 till five. "It's time for dinner." She said pushing off the subject. She stood and walked out of the room and towards where she thought the dinning room might be.

Sure enough as she passed through the front room they had entered into she found it. It was a huge room with marble flooring and suits of Armor in the corners. It was smaller then the front room but big enough not to look cluttered with the huge fireplace, and a large painting of a bald old man wearing a sour look, and a gray suit. The table was set for everyone except one...She noticed Slade standing towards the back where there were double doors that she guessed led to the kitchen.


There were no windows in this room except at the very end of the room, it was huge and took over the whole wall, it had Deep purple velvet curtains that blocked out any hope for sunlight, or moonlight. Ember walked over to one of the empty seats in the center of the table and waited for the rest of them to join her.

Alana laughed at there stupidity and also went to the dining room. She wasent one who could deal with girls acting stupid. She sat down at a seat that had her name on it. She smiled as she sat down hoping that now they would find out what was going on. She wanted to know why she was here and what about this house was so wierd. She planned to figure out what that music was soon.

Toya smiled up at Kyo. "T..Thank you very much." She blushed at how frantic she had become at the spiders and looked down. "W..We should probably go eat." She headed towards the kitchen and sat down, putting her napkin unfolded on her lap.

Kyo let out a long sigh as the girls went ahead of him to the dinning room. He didn't understand why it was there was such a large fuss over what appeared to be nothing. With another sigh he turned to leave when he thought he saw something move near the back wall. His gaze immediately shifted to it, but he saw nothing. "It must just be my imagination" he said calmly as he turned and left the room.

It didn't take him too long to figure out where to go to get to the dinning room. He noticed a place with his name on it so he calmly took a seat. It was about the second to last seat on the right when one first entered. He really just wanted to know why it was he was really here so that he could go back home all the sooner.

Ember looked at everyone sitting at the table, then down at Slade who walked over.
"Good Evening. Tonights dinner is Roast Lamb, with mashed patato's and and grapefruit." He said pushing a cart with the food on it. He set a plate infront of all of them along with a glass of wine then left.
"Sounds okay." Ember said looking at her food.

Alana frowned at him a moment

"So dude you gonna tell us whey we are here or what?"

She was starting to get frustrated and this house was kinda creepy.

Slade stopped and turned back around. "Well, it seems that since everyone is locked in I might as well tell you why you are here." He continued on to tell the guests the story of the house and what had happened here. "So your job is to last the next three days." he said then dissiappred.

"Ahh.....Is anyone else freaked out a little bit?" Ember asked watching Slade leave. "And what happened to his creepy accent?" she added taking a sip of wine.

"Perhaps it was a fake accent" Kyo calmly offered. He had listened to the story though he didn't fully believe everything, as people had a tendency to over exaggerate things when telling others about them. He was a teacher, assistant teacher maybe, but still a teacher and he figured how would he be able to tell the children he taught that things like these weren't meant to really be believed if he actually believed them himself.

He stared at the food that had been served to them, though he wasn't really interested in eating at the moment. "I think perhaps this is just someone's way of playing a joke on people. I bet the things you saw earlier were merely practical jokes to make us believe everything. After all does no one else find it strange that after the 'no eyed girl' and the 'herd' of spiders that we are told this? Something just doesn't add up here" he said calmly as he simply expressed his thoughts. He figured that, that was the most logical reasoning behind everything so far and wondered what the others thought.

"It does seem pretty...strange." Ember said playing with her grapefruit. She had to admit, it did seem a bit....melodramatic.

Alana listened to teh story and then burst out laughing. She hated it when people tried to scare her. She was afraid of spiders but ghosts were fake and murders in this house yeah right. She ate her food giggling a bit. SHe hated the idea of being put in a prank.

Kyo was glad that he was the only one who didn't think this whole thing a possible farce. After all it was pretty hard for him to believe the idea of ghosts haunting people. Again he believed in spirits being with people and guiding them but not actually going out to hurt them. After all he had never seen a ghost and he certainly wasn't one so he figured that there was no actual evidence to back it up.

"Another thing as well. If there had been so many murders here then why is it this house was not condemned or destroyed? Surely the police here would have boarded this place up or something on the account of it being a danger" he added quietly with a sigh. This idea simply made him believe more and more that this was only a set up, although why choose the four of them? Was it done randomly or were they specific targets? He didn't think there was much that could link them all together, so it had to have been randomized.

Tpya listened to the conversations going on over dinner. She pushed the lamb to the side on her plate and happily ate at the mashed potatoes and sipped her wine delicately. a:I don't think the police wil ever get involved. If they think its haunted then their just as scared as everyone else. Either that or every case has gone cold so they just gave up." She sipped her wine again and blinked. "Hey wait...The butler is locked in here with us right? Doesn't that mean he has to survive too?" She pondered this statement. "Or hesthe one causeing people to see things."

"You know, come to think of it, I do remember an interview with a police officer on the news a few years back talking about the ashley family that the butler mentioned. He said that the youngest daughter was commeted." Ember remembered as she drank her wine.

Alana was enjoying this conversation. She had finished up her food and looked at them all.

"Look guys im a nursing student. If anything I think I can treat everyones wounds just fine. There is not such thing as ghosts. So why are we even talking about this?"

"I don't know. Just something to talk about I guess." Ember shrugged as she laid her fork down, She didn't eat meat so her plate would go to waste. She finished her wine and waited to see if the butler would return.

Slade entered into the room with another cart and a bottle of wine, He placed the wine infront if Ember and set a bowl with mint ice cream infront of all of them. "Lights go out at 8, so please be in your bedrooms before then." He said then dissappred.

"Was it me, or did his hair get shorter?" Ember asked, she was right as Slade exited the room, his long black hair was now shoulder length. It seemed odd that the Butler would cut his hair now. Sighing she poured more wine into her glass and began to drink it, ignoring her ice cream.

"Either way if there were murders the police would still have to get involved whether or not they believed this place to truly be haunted" Kyo commented quietly as he still ignored his food. He wasn't much of a drinker either so the wine was also untouched by him. Really him skipping this dinner would have been fine, seeing as he really wasn't hungry at the moment and if he was later he had packed a few things anyways.

His blues eyes went to Alana as she spoke and then to Ember when she replied to Alana's question. "Yes I suppose this is a rather strange dinner conversation, but it is conversation nevertheless" he said with a smile. He looked at the butler when he entered and then at the ice cream that was set in front of him, that too would go to waste. He had already mentioned earlier about the whole sugar thing anyways, although the butler had not exactly been there for that.

"I do believe you are right, a rather strange thing then again who am I to judge?" he said, rather than really ask, with a smile. He didn't understand why the butler would do something such as that, but he merely shrugged his shoulders. Obviously he had to have had his reasoning behind it otherwise he wouldn't have done it.

Toya sighed as her observation seemed to go unnoticed. oh well. At least I know I will survive these days. She pushed the ice cream to the side. Mint was one of her least favorite flavors ever. She stood up and excused herself from the table. She always tried to stay away from places that she went unheard. She decided to go exploring. She started on the floor they were on and quickly fund the art room.

As she studied some paintings and drawings she saw something move from the corner of her eye. She turned quickly but nothing was there. She frowned and went back to looking at all the art, feeling as though she was being watched the entire time.

Alana watched them and sighed getting up.

"Im going back to the basement. There was some odd music down there that I wish to check out. maybe its on of your ghosts."

She glared at Ember. She knew there was no such things as haunted houses or ghosts and she wasent going to change her mind. She smiled at Kyo doing a small bow.

"It was nice to meet you. I do hope you enjoy your stay at this house."

She took off out the door and back down the stairs.
