Kyo smiled at Alana, and nodding his head back at her. "It was a pleasure to meet you as well and I'm sure we'll all be running into each other again considering we're all in this house" he said with a quiet laugh. He figured dinner was essentially over, considering two of the girls had already gone.

Calmly he stood up and excused himself as well, leaving all that was served to him untouched still. He then proceeded out of the room and remembering the butler had instructed that they all return to their rooms by eight. He shrugged his shoulders and decided that while he had the time he might as well explore a bit and then follow the butler's instructions.

He turned down a few hallways here and there to find himself standing in the doorway of what appeared to be a sort of family room, or so he thought. It was filled with pictures of the past families that had lived in the house. Carefully he strode over to the nearest one, which was one of a young girl hanging on the wall. "So these are the families that had stayed her before and allegedly died hm?" he asked himself quietly. He moved from picture to picture, being sure not to touch or disturb the dust that was covering a few.

He stopped suddenly when he though he heard the slam of a small door in the wall and thought he saw the eyes of one of the pictures move. Quickly he turned his gaze towards the picture, and sound only to find it to be a normal picture. The eyes were still staring in the same direction as they had when he first looked at the picture. "That was rather...strange" he said quietly before he hesitantly moved his gaze away from the photograph.

Toya continued looking through the art room, noticing some art supplies as well. She giggled like a school girl and picked up one of the paint brushes and sat near a aisle. She started painting and yet again saw something move from the corner of her eye. She turned her head and something hard hit her between the shoulders. "AHH!" She toppled over as a bucket of paint sailed over her head and crashed onto a near by wall. She scrambled up and ran for the door, all sorts of things flying at her. A scaple thats used for molding clay dug into her arm as she just managed to close the art doors shut. She cried and gingerly pulled it out and threw it to the ground. She needed to bandage it up, but didn't know where to go.

Ember stood and grabbed the bottle. "I'm going to bed." She said then stormed out of the room. She hated beind made fun of, even if she knew she was being crazy.

ALana still heard the faint music. She followed the sound deeper into the basement. She heard it behind a wall. She noticed a closeby bookcase and grinned. Why not it worked in movies right. She slowly pulled down one book at a time unti the wall opened. She went through it into a secret laboratory. She looked around and saw nothing but notes and books and charts and a huge table. She started to dig through the notes and stuff.

Ember stumbled around the Mansion exploring, the lights had all ready been turned off but she didn't care. She carried a flashlight she had found in her room and the almost empty bottle of wine. She walked up to the third floor and saw another stairwell leading up to what she thought might be the attic.

She opened the door and walked up them sawying ever so more with each step. Finally she came to the attic. Everything had white sheets over them. As she walked over towards another door, she swore she saw a shadow move in the corner. Ignoring it she took another step and her foot fell through the floor. "Help!" She called for the second time that night.

Kyo continued to examine the photographs until the lights started going out. 'It's not yet time for us to be in our rooms, at least I don't think it is' he thought to himself as he started to make his way to the doorway. Despite it being dark there wasn't much for him to run into other than walls, or so he thought. Just as he had about reached the doorway something seemed to slide in front of his legs causing him to fall. As he hit the ground he felt something jab his stomach and let out a gasp of pain. "Well...that hurt..." he managed to gasp out to himself.

He sat up, putting one arm around his stomach as it still hurt, and began feeling around for what it was he tripped over. It only took a few moments before his hand came into contact with something. At first he thought it to be furniture but, after a few more moments he realized that it felt like a leg, and not just like a leg from a chair or table, but a human leg. Quickly he retracted his hand back in shock. He had known that before the lights went out no one had been in there with him.

Slowly he reached his hand out again but this time he felt nothing. 'Was it just my imagination?' he asked himself mentally. The slight pang of pain in his stomach told him that he had fallen over something, perhaps he tripped over his own feet. 'Yeah that had to have been it. Or maybe I tripped over a section of the rug and that's what I had felt, and when my hand touched it, it fell back to its original state' he said nodding his head. He was not going to jump to the conclusion of ghosts just yet.

He jumped in the darkness when he heard first one scream and then another as well as a slam of a door and then a crash from above. Quickly but carefully he picked himself up off of the floor and began heading towards the doorway once more, his arm still wrapped around his stomach to ease the pain. Luckily the lights in the hallway that he emerged into were still on.

He looked down at his stomach and the arm that was wrapped around it. A red liquid seemed to be oozing that resembled blood. "Wait a minute...this...this is blood..." he said as he first dipped a finger into the liquid and sniffed it. He quickly closed his eyes and shook his head. No there was no way he was bleeding. He didn't feel anything pierce his skin at all so surely he wasn't actually seeing blood. Cautiously he opened his eyes and peered down once more. The liquid that had been previously oozing out of the area he had held with his arm and was dripping down his arm had disappeared, much like the leg he thought he had felt. 'Either I'm so tired that I'm seeing and feeling things...or someone's trying really hard to freak me out...Well if the second is the case I'm sorry to disappoint...' he thought with another nod of his head. He then remembered the purpose of coming out into the hallway. Cautiously again he worked on making his way towards the area he had thought he had heard the first scream.

Alana heard screams and took off to go help but she couldnt figure out how to get up the stairs. She looked at otherside of the wall. She couldnt get it to open. Suddenly the lights went out and she saw glowing red eyes. She sank to the ground and closed her eyes trying to calm down.

"Its not real Its not real" She kept saying over and over. She opened her eyes and it was right in front of her face. She screamed and kicked at it. She tried to get the horrible glowing eyes away from her.

"Your not real. Your a figment of my imagination."

Toya pressed her hand hard against the wound to help clot the blood to make it stop bleeding. As she walked towards the stairs the lights went out. "Crap! Stupid early curfew!!!" She ran, knowing scary places got more scary when the lights were out, and hit something hard that she knew wasnt in her way before. She fell back on her butt. She looked up and a girl was standing there. It was obviously not one of the girls that was here before. "Hello?" She stood up, brushing herself off.

The girl slowly turned to face Toya and yowled out, she had no eyes and her neck was slit. Toya screamed loud but knew she had to get past the ghost to get to her room. She ran straight foreward, ruiong through the ghost, feeling an icy chill that stabbed her straight to the heart. She cried out in pain again but kept running, going for the stairs.

Kyo blinked as the lights in the hallway he was currently walking down went out as well. "Well that's just great..." he said with a sigh. His arm was still wrapped around his stomach as for some reason it still hurt. He knew that typically when one hit their stomach it would hurt for only a few minutes perhaps and then slowly go away, however he was finding that at the moment this was not the case.

Slowly and cautiously he started to continue to make his way down the hallway, completely blind in the darkness. He heard more screaming, one that sounded below him while the other sounded a bit closer. "Hello?" he shouted out trying to see if the person was relatively close. He knew with the lights out and being in an unfamiliar house would make it almost impossible to go upstairs to check out what had caused the previous two screams.

Alana opened her eyes and the glowing eyes were gone. She looked all over the place and nothing was there. She took a deep breath and stood up. She blindly groped all over the wall trying to find a way to open it. She still couldnt see as it was dark. She found a lever and pulled it. The wall opened and she headed back upstairs. SHe walked down a dark hallway until she bumped into someone. SHe screamed.

Using her hands she felt a human body. The only thing is this one was alive from what she could tell.

"Hello. WHo is this?"

Seeing no one was coming to her rescue Ember began pulling at her leg, After a few seconds of yanking on it, Ember finally got it out. She looked down at it and saw that it was all cut up and brushed. Rubbing her ankle she looked around and saw that it seemed like someone was cowering in the corner of the room. She could hear them crying, almost like a mournful wail.

Getting to her knees she crawled over to the person. It appeared to be a little girl, in fact it was the little girl she saw earlier. "Are you hurt?" ember asked putting a hand on the little girls shoulder. She screamed as she pulled her hand away and with was sticky with dead rotting skin.

"Ouch!" Toya said as she bumped into someone. "Alana? Is that you?" She recognized the voice. "Did you scream? I heard someone else scream before I did." He arm still hurt but the bleeding as slowing down thankfully. "Are you ok?"

Kyo continued to stumble about in the dark, hitting quite a few things as the dark was not his forte, who was no holding not only his stomach but the arm holding his stomach as well. 'If I had more arms I would probably be holding a lot more' he thought as he fell over yet another things. By now he had become quite acquainted with the floor. He laid there for a few minutes wondering how far he still had to go.

His head shot up, however when he heard another scream coming from somewhere above him. With a bit of pain he picked himself off of the floor yet again. He then used the hand that had been holding his arm to feel the wall and hopefully avoid hitting things now. Before he had been walking, in what he thought was the center of the hallway, and that had proven rather painful perhaps the sides would fair better.

He continued to blindly walk down the hallway, feeling the wall, when suddenly the wall was no longer under his hand and he fell sideways. "By the time I get there I'll be looking like a ghost myself!" he said aloud sitting up after a few moments and rubbing his side. He looked around himself, although it was no real use since everything was still dark.

He was just about to stand up when he heard a door slam in front of him. Quickly his hand reached out to find that there appeared to be a solid object in front of him, with further inspection he found it was a door when his hand hit the handle. Sighing he stood up, with his hand on the door handle, and tried to open the door. It wouldn't budge however as it appeared to be either stuck or locked. With another sigh he tried moving back, though after a few seconds his back hit what felt like coats and another wall.

"What the..." he said as his hands stretched out to the sides. A room shouldn't be this small. It wasn't long before his hands came in contact with what appeared to be side walls. Behind him he could still feel the coats and that's when it dawned on him, he was in a closet. It only took a matter of moments before he started banging on the door. "Hey! Hey is anyone out there?! I'm locked in here! Can someone open up this door?!" he shouted hoping that someone was near enough to hear him. Inside slowly the panic began to spread through his system.

Alana reached out to the girl and grinned. Finally a human. Someone who was really real.

"Hey Toya. What happened to the lights?"

Suddenly she heard a noise of someone yelling and banging right next to her. She stood up and tried to open the door but it seemed locked.

"Kyo The doors locked I cant open it."

Kyo was trying desperately to calm his breathing that had sped up. His heart was racing and fear was creeping up his spine. He couldn't stand to be locked in closets not since that incident when he was younger. He shook his head chasing away the memory, now was not the time for it and it would only make the situation worse. "Is there anyone else out there with you?" he asked trying to think of a way out.

The door was locked though he wasn't sure if it was a key lock or one that could be unlocked from the outside. Judging from what Alana said and the age of the house he had a feeling it was a key lock. 'Wait then how did the door lock?' he thought with widened eyes. He was sure there was no one out there before, but maybe the butler had come by and locked it not knowing a person was in it? 'In the dark...where you can barely see a thing...yeah that's real believable Kyo' he though to himself. He shook his head again. He would figure out how the door got locked after he was out.

The closet turned ice cold and a headless body appeared in front of Kyo. The front of her dress was covered in dried blood, and she was holding a bloody teddy bear. "Hi kyo, I'm Henriette, want to play?" She asked.

(Lol poor Kyo, good thing he doesn't have any heart conditions. XD)

Kyo was just about to throw himself at the door when he suddenly stop. "What the?!" he shouted loudly as he looked at the headless girl. His first thought was to scream, while his second was not to panic and that it was merely him seeing things. He backed away as best he could for the headless little girl. "Someone get me out of here!" he shouted hoping that this was merely his eyes playing tricks on him.

Alana heard him shout and began to bang on the door.

"It wont open and Toyas here with me"

She body slammed the door a few times and suddenly it opened right when she was going into it. SHe ran into the back falling down on her behind pulling a bunch of clothes with her. She looked at Kyo.

"Whats going on?"

The little girl vanishes with a small laugh, and Ember shows up ghost white peering into the closet.

"What happened here?" She asked seeing Kyo and Alana laying on top of each other and looking just as pale. The recent sighting had sobered her up enough to realize something just happened.

"Possibly a figment of the imagination along with me getting locked in a closet, though thanks to Alana here the door is now open thankfully" Kyo said as he tried to get himself and Alana up. He wanted out of the closet as quick as possible. He then noticed that Ember appeared to be rather pale herself. "What happened to you? Your as white as a sheet" he commented. He wasn't being rude just merely pointing out an observation.

"Oh, nothing just thought I saw something." She said rubbing the back of her neck, she wasn't about to admit that she saw another ghost...or what ever it was she was seeing. She regretted drinking so much wine. She pressed her hand to her head, as the lights came back on. "EXCUSE ME!" Slade yelled as he stormed down the Hall.

Toya popped her head in. "Are you guys ok? Stupid curfew and turning out the lights so early!" She stepped in with them.

"I see. And yes I think we're alright" Kyo said as he still attempted to get Alana and himself up, but considering the space was rather small in the closet it wasn't exactly an easy task. His eyes turned to where he had heard the butler's voice. The walls of the closet blocked his view so he couldn't actually see him, but he sounded upset.

"Well at least the lights are back on." She moves out of the closet again. "Any body else see weird things?" Her arm was caked in dried blood. The wound look deeper than she had thought.

Alana looked at Kyo and helped him get up after getting herself up. She looked at the two girls and jumped when she heard the butler. THey were in so much trouble right now.
