gemini screamed and laughed."ahh! s-stop! stop it! aha! i give!" her eyes filled with tears from laughing so much,and she kicked furiously to get him off.

Evan winced as she kicked him in the stomach "Alright, Alright!" he said laughing. He put her down "So...Tour?! Tour?! Tour?!" he asked bouncing over to Kristina and Jerone excitedly.

gemini jumped up after catching her breath.but before she could say anything,her stomach growled quite loudly.she sweatdropped."um...can we get breakfast before anything?"

Evan grinned and ran off in the direction he thought was the kitchen "Foo-Omph!" He said as he ran into a person, He looked up from his position on the ground "Um...Hi?" he asked uncertainly...After all it was his fault. He had ran into the man.

Kristina giggled and gasped.Not expecting Jerone to pick her up."Hey!"She laughed out and he smiled at her."Evan you can't eat!!!"Jerone said after him as he walked after him.Kristina watched as Evan ran into a man she didn't know.Jerone muffled a laugh and then stopped beside Evan hoping the man didn't have a temper.

The man stared down at Evan "What no apology?" he growled. Evan flinched "Sorry...I mean, I'm sorry I ran into you...It was all my fault, I wasn't looking where I was going..." The man started to laugh as Evan rambled on in fear "That's enough! A simple sorry would have sufficed!" he said still laughing as he helped Evan up.

gemini laughed."you know evan,you really need to pay attention.how can you protect anyone if yo cant even protect yourself?" she said,smiling at him.she didnt really minds his childishness,actually she liked it,but she sometimes worried for his safety.

Kristina giggled in Jerone's arms and looked at the man.She didn't know him but he looked kind of familiar.Jerone smiled down at her and her breath caught as she saw his extended fangs.She laughed again and smiled knowing that being in his arms would make it that much harder for him.Jerone growled inaudibly and then laughed again."I'll be right back."He said to them and set Kristina down.He went into there room and found some blood in the mini fridge by the bed.He drank it and wrinkled his nose as the slightly fresh but cold blood ran down his throat.Kristina grinned at Evan and Gemini and then looked at the man."Do i know you from somewhere?"She asked feeling as if she had seen him or talked to him before.

The man shook his head at Kristina "I'm afraid I don't recognize you ma'am." he said smiling slightly, He turned to Evan "Some interesting friends you got here, What are young people like you doing here?" he asked leaning against one wall.

Evan pouted "I am not that young, and I pay attention to where I walk...Most of the time." he said grinning at Gemini.

gemini just rolled her eyes."trust us,sir,some of us are much older than we look.but if you wanna know why we're here,we're just visiting a friend.no big,just for fun." she said,leaning against a wall with her arms crossed,the most calm and uncaring anyone had ever seen from her.

The man looked at her "Fair enough, everyone has their secrets...Good Night then..." he said starting to walk away.

Evan stared at Gemini in shock, "Gemini?" he asked wondering about her response to the man. He knew she had had a bad past, they all did. But what had this stranger done to her?

gemini just sighed."i dont know,i just get this....uneasy feeling about him.it's instinct,i guess,from so many years of surviving off nothing else.if i were a wolf,my fur would be raised,my teeth bared,and my ears laid back.i dont know,but i just feel like i know him,and he cant be trusted..." she said with obvious tension in her voice."let's just get breakfast,i could really use a fresh drink right now..." starrunner followed her lead,looking exactly as she had described her own wolf form just seconds before.

Evan just shrugged before slinging an arm around her shoulder "Breakfast it is....Do you think they have pudding? I might not be able to eat it...but I can glare at it for looking so delicous!" he said happily with a slight skip in his step.

The man watched from the shadows as they four walked away from him...Five if you counted the mutt. He would get them eventually, perfection was required of him. He mentally scoffed at that, as if he could do any less! But no...For now he would wait, watch and wait....

Kristina shivered slightly and then jumped as a hand slid over her mouth knowing she would scream.She flipped around to see who it was recognizing the scent as she took a breath."Jerone!"She said and then laughed."That was not funny!"She said shaking her head.Jerone laughed and nodded disagreeing."Yes that was funny!"He said as she glared at him.He laughed and kissed her cheek gently."Don't be mad at me."He said his voice gently gliding across her skin and making her shiver."Okay okay!"She said sighing and lacing her fingers with his."Let's go with Gemini and Evan."She said walking behind them.She felt as if someone were watching her and turned slightly to look behind her.She didn't see anyone or scent them so she shrugged it off and kept walking...

gemini tensed,knowing she was being watched."xavier...." she whispered,just loud enough for a vampire to hear.flashes of memory quickly passed through her mind,memories of pain and fear,but nothing she could pin down.exept the name...xavier...she was sure of it.this was him.and if memory served,his being here could only mean trouble.

Evan looked at her "Xavier? Is that French or something?" he asked wondering why she had whispered the name...

Xavier watched the girl, Gemini, oh yes he could easily have taken the other girl...but this one, she had escaped and that wasn't acceptable.

gemini seemed to freeze for a second before she kept walking."xavier...he is responsible for the destruction of starrunner's pack.my pack.he came across our pack while hunting one night,and decided it would be fun to kill them all.star and i escaped,but he found me...he found my untamed behaviour a turn-on,and swore he's have me for his bride.naturally i refused.he tried to break me,he beat me,abused me,nearly raped me several times,but i never lost myself to him.after three years of this,i managed to escape.he has been following me ever since.i think he finds the hunt enjoyable.every time he finds me horrible things happen.he is an elder,ancient,older than myself.a very powerfull vampire.he told me once that he helped cause the dinosaurs extinction.i'm not sure i believe it,but it sounded pretty convincing,and the mental images he forced on me...they seemed real enough.he is purely insane,but not in a good way like us.he's power hungry,and he gets what he wants.if he's here,and he's seen me,there will be trouble.there is only one thing that will turn him off of me.he has...just a small bit of decency.he will not take me if i am pledged to another.but seeing as i am still single...well,it looks like the hunt is back on.last time it caused the french revolution.i wonder what'll happen this time..." she explained in a cold and haunted voice,as if ghosts of her past were circling her like sharks.and if he was there,than indeed that was exactly the case.

Evan blinked "You guys caused the French Revolution?!" he said incrediously before continuing, "You said he won't bother you if your pledged to someone...What do you mean by pledged?" he asked turning and looking her in the eyes, He didn't like the cold and indifferent look. It wasn't her, It was like she was on autopilot...He sighed, he used the same thing himself. Your real self...All your feelings buried deep in the darkest corners of your mind.

gemini looked him in the eye."it means,either i have to be married or engaged to another man,or i ave to be pregnant with another man's child,or have...lost my virginity to him.only on one of those conditions will he leave me alone.and as far as being a virgin...he might not care anymore.he'd take me as a whore as far as i know,but that was a long time ago,when he said he wouldnt take me tainted.he wanted...he wanted to steal my innocence.and yes,we caused the french revolution.or rather,i caused it.he was using the king at the time to get to me,and...well i was sort of like a hero to the common folk.they rallied around me and when they found out i was at battly with the king's 'advisor' they took it into thier own hands."

Evan blinked "Oh..." he said not liking the awkwardness this conversation had taken on. He looked at her seriously and said with no hesitation "Well then he'll have to get through me if he thinks he has any chance at hurting you...And I'm sure that goes for Jerone and Kristina as well!" he said giving her a quick hug before tugging her down the hallway "He's gone now...and even if he does come back we won't survive long on an empty stomach, so what do you say to some food?" he asked as he grinned at her hoping to cheer her up at least a little bit.

gemini smiled just a little."sounds good to me.i want pancakes! ait...do they serve those at night? hm..." she thought about it a moment."oh well.really i just want a drink,if you know what i mean."

finx glared at gem "if you want something make it your self. This human is going to bed. Kithens that way." she said pointing in the direction of the kitchen

gemini smiled."thank you finx." always such a good friend,that girl.gemini sighed.it seemed she always brought trouble to her friends.

Evan nodded "I know what you mean...Do you want fries with that though? He asked as he pushed the kitchen door open.
