Kristina looked at the sleeping human on the bed and sighed.She was having another nighmare.I hope she trusts me enough to stay here with me or we're introuble.She thought.Kristina lay on the floor gazing up at the celing,humming softly.

gemini heard noise from inside a house.gemini was an unusual sort of pureblood,as she hated to see the weak get hurt,which is why she hadn't fed in weeks.her mistwolf familiar,starrunner,walked beside her.he was large and pitch black,with silver starlike splotches,and green eyes.he was born on the same day as her,his mother had been her mother's familiar,and his father her father's.she hesitated outside the door.she knew there were vampires inside,but she also sensed a human.would they accept her? she sighed.most vampires didnt like purebloods,because they were the "monarchy" of the vampire world.but gemini didnt think that way."i need to feed soon,star.i cant just go on like this." the wolf looked at her and spoke-quite clealy-"i have been telling you this for weeks,but you still continue to be stubborn."starrunner had the ability tho speak,read minds,and turn completely into mist.(i got that from the avalon series) gemini siged yet again.tonight was mischief night,the night before her birthday.(she was born on halloween) just then,she slumped against the door,unconcious,making a thumping sound.

Kristina got up from the floor and walked over to the window seal.She sat down waiting for Sally to wake up.She gazed up at the stars thinking of how hard it's going to be to explain how she can't leave the house during the day.She looked up at the stars and recognized the formation she had named a long time ago.The vampire's Fang was there sparkling away.The stars that made the formation were called the white dwarfs and only apparent to vampires because there so small.Kristina heard a thud on the door of the hotel room door and she ran off of her seat and to the door.She smelled the scent of her kind...pureblood like her.She looked through the small hole in the door and saw someone leaning on the door."Who are you?"She whispered trying not to wake Sally.She also smelled the scent of wolf and looked over slightly and saw one.What?????????she thought.

I looked up as i heard Kain coming closer... Darn it! grrr i'm always found out! I quickly realized that if i stayed here i was dead, i sprinted out of the cave and ran away from him farther into the forest hoping it wouldn't come to a fight.

gemini was barely concious.she tried to speak,tried to move,but nothing happened.she could feel starrunner at her feet,trying to wake her."help...please,someone..." her vice came out a whisper.she was dehydrated.she needed to feed,and soon,or she would be in trouble."dont die,gemini!" starrunner growled."i-im sleepy..." "do not fall asleep!" she was dying.that was it,the end.she would die here against a door,and no one would help her."help!" she cried with the last of her strength,and slumped back against the door.

Kristina heard her thoughts and ran over to the window.She opened it and jumped off of the third floor.She ran to the hospital and grabbed some of the bags of blood from the recent blood drive. She raced back to the hotel around to the door to her room.She ripped the bag open with her teeth ,and pushed the bag against Gemini's lips."Open your mouth..."She told her.

gemini did as she was told,smelling blood nearby.soon she tasted it,and drank.starrunner was there,as always,waiting for her to finish.once she did,she gasped for air and looked at her savior."thank you...i-im gemini,and this is starrunner.you saved my life.how can i thank you?"

Kristina looked at Gemini,and smiled."It's fine you don't have to thank me..."She looked at her.She held her hand out to her so she could help her up."Are you okay....and by the way I'm Kristina Avian..."She said to her quietly.She looked at starrunner."Hello..."

starrunner answered before gemini could."hello.thank you for saving gemini.i only wish i could have done the same." gemini glared at him."star! i told you not to speak to people who dont know us!" she looked at kristina."its nice to meet you,kristina avian.yes,i am fine now.i am in your debt.please know that,if you ever need anything,you need only call,and i will be there." gemini was always one to repay her depts,and once someone had earned her trust,they could count on her for anything,forever.

"It's okay starrunner was only worried about you."She smiled at starrunner and replied to Gemini."Thank you Gemini...I will remember that...right now though I'm guarding someone..."She smiled at her,and pulled Gemini to her feet."You scared me for a second I thought I hadn't gotten to you in time..."She smiled weakly remembering Gemini's weak state."Anyway if you would like to stay I could get you a room...I would let you stay with me but...um..."She studdered.I don't want her to think of me as a weak vampire guarding a human!!she thought.

gemini listened carefully."its ok,i would protect her,too.and honestly,im the weak one.i tried to go without feeding,and i failed.i almost died.yes,it would be nice to stay somewhere.that would be helpfull of you to get me a room.and yes,i can sense the human in your room.it does not make you weak,it makes you compassionate.perhaps i can be of assistance.or would this human not trust me?"

Kristina smiled."Her name is sally and I'm not sure if she would trust you or not...I'm not sure if she trusts me...."She said."Follow me..."She told Gemini quietly."I'll get you a room."She told her.She started to walk to the front desk of the hotel.She walked into the elevator and held the doors still for Gemini and Starrunner.Kristina pulled out her wallet."How many days will you acommpany us???"She asked Gemini.

gemini thought for a while before answering."i will stay for two nights,i do not wish to brden you.but if i can manage to get some money,i will stay and pay for my own room.i hope that is alright.and starrrunner wont be a problem,no one will know hes there." gemini smiled.star's ability to change into mist was quite usefull at times.

She smiled."It's perfectly fine you wouldn't burden me anyway.I worked up a lot of money a couple years ago.So money's not a problem..."She smiled."Stay with us as long as you like..."She smiled and the doors opened to the first floor.Kristina walked up to the front desk,and turned to Gemini."Would you like a room for one or two???"She asked her inaudible to human ears.

gemini heard clearly,knowing that any listening humans would not."one is fine.as i said,starrunner wont be noticed,and we always share a bed.we dont need much room,really.just enough to move,and privacy in case a hunt is needed." she kept her voice to a minimum as well,knowing that humans-or any other creatures-would find this conversation very odd if they heard it.

Kristina nodded and smiled slightly."A room for one person and for two nights...please...?"She said to the man at the front desk.
"Okay...I'll add that to your tap?"The man asked.
"Yes please..."She nodded.
"Okay here's your key and it's the room right next to yours."He smiled at Kristina and Gemini.
"Thank you..."She said.She handed the key to Gemini.Kristina's eyes widened."The girl!!!"She whispered inaudible to human ears."Let's go!!!"She walked slowly to the stairs,and ran quickly up the stairs.She got to the room and opened the door.

gemini heard her,and instantly followed."thank you!" she called to the man at the desk.when she caught up,kristina had opened the door to her room.gemini looked in,hoping to see nothing wrong.

Muahahahahahahahahaha I had made it back to the hotel, really these two weren't the best Guards...leaving the human COMPLETELY UNPROTECTED! yeah i hope you heard that "miss i'm a vampire and so i can read thoughts too!" though i suppose the other was still out there looking for me good luck! Muahahahahahaha i was long gone out of the city with the girl they would never find me! ( random but i couldn't resist the perfect entrance good luck catching me {if you can}) Muahahahahahahahaha!

Kristina shreaked."NO!!!!!!!!"She yelled."There already out of the city!"She cried.Kristina ranAs fast as she could and flew past the front desk causing all of the papers to fly off of the desk.Kristina took no thought and ran out of the door and half way through the city before she stopped and smelled his scent leading west out of the city.She ran and ran until she was at the boarder where his scent was leading to.She smelled his scent yet again leading west into another city.She still ran.I will f***ing kill you EVAN!!She screamed in her head hoping he would hear.

Oh crap, well i was in trouble now! maybe i shouldn't have taken the girl... Oh well to late now! I ran west even farther to the nearest city I opened the grate to the sewer and jumped down into the darkness with the girl in my arms. I had a hideout here where NO ONE should be able to find me...well except maybe that guy Kain...and that other guy... oh and Kristina...oh and that one person i met that one time at that one place, what was their name again?... okay maybe people could get in here at least the water would hide our scent.

gemini followed her new friend at a breakneck pace.when she stopped,they were outside of the town.gemini could smell the human girl's scent giong to the next town."wait,hold on a second.if you go charging in without thinking,youll get her into more trouble.we can help.starrunner here is the best tracker known to wolf kind,and when we find hr,he can change into mist to hide us.no one can see through miswolf mist.well get her back easy."

when i awoke I was freaked out "who are you!??!" I looked around.."and why are we in a sewer!??!" I started to freak out!!! what did he want with me? and why hadn't i notice his presence before? I start to bite his arm and he drops me in the water where I almost drown, but he picks me up before long and he..hisses? at me, he is to clumsy to be a kidnapper....."what do you want from me" I say as calmly as possible.

I paused...oh no I HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT THE WOLF! I sighed in the quiet of the tunnels the only other sound besides the water lapping at the sides...why did i have to go and forget that very important factor???? Aw well not much i could do about it now...unless... I dashed off quickly farther into the tunnels, the girl still in my arms. When said girl woke up...she started to freak out...crap...ouch she bit me! I hissed at her stupid human, their sooo much more trouble than their worth! " What do i want from you? Silly girl haven't you ever watched those pathetic horror movies if i stop and tell you i will give you time to find some way to escape... and i'm not stupid! Now as to your question i origanally planned to kill you but now my master wants you alive. Now i'm not sure why but you know i can't really ask, because what sort of person asks that question of someone powerful and evil without wanting to get killed?...."

Kristina freaked out.Oh my god!I'm such a bad person."But what he did to me...to her..."She whispered to them."So WHAT?We just wait for starrunner to get back to us???"She asked quietly,with wide eyes."I remember that awful situation..."She whispered and tuned into their thoughts'...why are we in a sewer!'sally had thought."There in the sewers!!!!"she squeaked.
