Finx smiled back "like I didn't sleep. You?"

Kristina gave Finx a soft smile."Well I passed out...that counts as sleeping right?"She asked with a sigh.She kept her thumb tracing circles on the back of Jerone's hand and looked up at him as he squeezed her hand softly.

Jerone smiled down at her and then Finx.He didn't necessarily want to talk about last night or the past couple days so he stayed silent taking comfort in Kristina's hand and her presence.

Fone hearing the noises upstairs blinked open his tired eyes, He looked over at Starrunner "Did I hear a call for breakfast?" he asked yawning, before getting up and stretching out his front legs. He shook himself trying to wake up.

Evan grinned and held out his hand "Yup, Shall we go see what beautiful creation Finx has made for us?" he asked cheerfully.

gemini smiled and nodded."i can't wait.finx is a great cook-when she remembers not to mix potion ingredients with food." she said,only half-joking.

starrunner stretched.yes i heard the call.however,we will not be answering it.we will be hunting our breakfast.

Evan laughed, "Well considering the extent of my cooking skills is making the beautiful and delicous food called toast, I understand what you mean." he said and took her hand, "Still I'm hungry and if it looks...interesting we can always have toast."

Fone grinned and barked excitedly "Cool! So where are we going hunting at? The grounds outside the house or farther?"

Finx glared at him over her shoulder and went back to her homemade waffles. She puts them on a big plate and plant them on the table with sryup and butter. "Eat up."

gemini nodded."right." she said,and proceeded to walk out towards the smell of food."smells like...waffles! yes!" she jumped up and down,celebrating.finx made the best waffles.

starrunner thought a moment.the grounds around here wold be best.we don't want to go to far on your first try.let's go,the prey runs best early. he decided,walking out the door.

Jerone laughed softly as he heard Gemini's answer. He didn't feel like eating but his body most likely needed it as much as it needed the blood.He sighed and sat unlacing his fingers from Kristina's as she walked to the cabinet and pulled out a wine bottle.

Kristina gave Jerone a triumphant smile before she opened the bottle and poured the warm liquid into two black frosted wine glasses."Those waffles smell delicious..."She commented as she slid a wine glass in front of Jerone. She looked Evan and Gemini."Want any?"She asked her voice tight with hunger.

gemini shook her head."i'm fine,thanks.all i want right now is waffles!" she said happily.

Evan grinned and tore towards the table and a plate of waffles, "WAFFLES!!!" He cried and grabbed at the plate only to trip and smash his head into the table at the last second. "Ow..." he glared at the plate of waffles, "Bad Waffles!"

Fone grinned and followed StarRunner out the door. This was going to be fun.

Jerone's eyes went from soft and gentle to over come by hunger in the matter of a few seconds.He picked the glass up and drank in hungrily and hurriedly as if his life depended on it.After he was done his eyes paled back to there normal color and he looked up at his friends slightly embarrassed."Sorry about that..."He said his voice soft and quiet. He shot a look at Kristina as she giggled slightly.

Kristina gave him a gentle smile."It's okay,love...I think you have an excuse."She said referring to the night before.She took another drink of hers and her hunger slightly went down.She started cracking up as she heard and saw Evan.As her laughter calmed down she asked."Evan?"holding the bottle and a glass to him from where she stood.He still hadn't answered her question.

gemini couldn'r help laughing at evan."evan...it's not the waffle's fault that you're clumsy." she said in between giggles.she took a bite of her own waffles and sighed."these are the best waffles i've ever had!"

starrunner led fone into the woods,motioning him to be silent.spotting a rabbit straight off,he pointed to it with his tail and motioned for fone to wait and watch carefully.with swift movements,he crept up to about a tail-length from the rabbit,crouched low,and sprung.in the blink of an eye,he had the rabbit pinned,and with a swift bite to the neck it was dead.now you try.

Finx smiled at them in her creepy smile that has been now to scare anything. "Do you like it?"

gemini looked up at finx,not the least bit intimidated.she was used to that smile."love it!" she said brightly.

Evan gulped and quickly took a bite of the waffles, "Yum!" he mumbled throught the mouthful of food. He quickly chewed and swallowed and took the cup from Kristina and started to sip at it between bites of waffles because he couldn't decide which he liked more.

Fone nodded and sniffed the air slightly smelling a rabbit he turned to the left and spotted it eating some clover in a near by clearing. He crept forward copying what he saw Starruner do the best he could. When he thought he was close enough he ran forward only to stop and blink as a hawk swooped down and took the rabbit. He let out an angry bark "Hey! That was mine!" The hawk screeched a laugh "Too slow little puppy, better luck next time!" before flying away with the rabbit in it's talons.

starrunner chuckled.you must be swift,young one,for there are other hungry creatures out here.in the wild,the rule is first come first serve,every creature for themselves.ok,try again,and this time make sure to use all your senses to make sure you can get to it first.

Fone grinned sheepishly "Yeah..." he said, before going off to find another rabbit, it wasn't long before he found one. Seeing the rabbit he quickly got into a hunting crouch and stalked toward it silently, carefully placing each paw so that he wouldn't step on a twig or dry leaf. Before he leapt this time he listened and sensing nothing around he bounded forward and ran after the rabbit managing to catch it's back leg in his jaws just before it went into it's burrow. He avoided the kick it sent towards him with it's free leg and quickly held it down with his paw and killed it.

starrunner padded up to fone and inspected his kill.exellent job. he said proudly.you were lucky,avoiding that kick.rabbits can hurt if they kick you.next time try to grab the neck straight of.but that was nearly perfect for your first kill.

Fone grinned "Thanks!" he said and then looked at the rabbit it was a rather large buck, "So...do you want half of this?" he asked looking up at Starrunner curiously.

starrunner chucked.sure.we'll share. he said,setting down his own rabbit.

Fone grinned and excitedly started eating, He looked up in shock at the taste "This...This is good!" he barked happily before quickly grabbing more and eating it quickly.

starrunner barked out a laugh while eating his own rabbit.it is good.i'm glad you like it.just wait untill you try deer! getting one involves team hunting,but that makes it taste even better.
