she looks at him and her child "i think she will be half vampire she looks like you my love" she looks at him and smiles him and her daughter she is happy now

Nalfien cupped her face with his hands, kissing her forehead. "I can be a shepherd when I want to," he murmered, resting his head against hers. He gaze met hers, holding it softly. "But not permanently. Even I make mistakes, Ember." Plenty of them. "But I can try if you want me to."
She was cold . . . as any vampire would be. Her sweet smell made him nearly swoon, though he was able to keep himself from doing so. She didn't have a heartbeat, as he did, but he knew she still had a heart. Even if she herself didn't quite know it was there.
"Don't make and rash decisions," Nalfien said in a low voice, "Some choices seem good at the time, but end up . . ." he smiled sadly, "breaking your leg."


See'r smiled. "She may look like me," he said, "but I hope she grows up to be more like her mother."

"If breaking my leg means more time with you, Then I'll break it over and over again." She whispered. She was lost in his eyes, and she was sure that if she did indeed have a heart beat, it would be all over the place right now as they stared each other down and smiled.

"my love i may stay in bed for a while with the baby" she looks at her daughter

The half-breed chuckled quietly. "And what of Kamen?" Nalfien slowly pulled away from Ember. "I don't expect you to desert him because I chose to stop by tonight." You're already taken. You don't belong to me. Moving so he was a few inches farther from her, Nalfien smiled sheepishly. "At least clear things up with him before running along after me. That would be a choice I won't allow you to make." He shook his head, brushing a few stray strands of his long hair from his face. "Don't hurt him like that."


See'r laughed, kneeling beside the bed. "And I will be nearby. I will not leave your side," he said, kissing her forehead.

"He's gone...I can't even pick up his scent...I got possessed, then he just left...How would I go about telling him?" She asked looking down. He pulled her knees to her chin, glad that she was wearing shorts. And buried her face in them. He was right, she couldn't hurt Kamen like that...But she was falling head over hills for this man...Part of her knew it was wrong of her...But another part of her, her demon side was telling her to forget Kamen and move on...Technically they weren't even back together, she had just saved him from the wrath of the council.

She brought her head up as the first rays of the sun started to peek out. "Oh no. We have to get inside." She said taking his hand and running inside. She ran up to her room where a coffin already laid beside the bed. "I'm not sure if you sleep in a coffin, but I only have one." She said closing the shutters on the window and sitting down inside the red velvet lined Casket.

"I'll speak with you when you wake," Nalfien ran his hand along the edge of the coffin's lid. "I don't need to sleep like you do. I can use the bed." Waiting until Ember was laying down, he gave her a slight smile before closing the top. "Sweet dreams."
When the coffin was sealed, Nalfien sighed and sat on the bed. Laying down, he closed his eyes. When daylight faded, he'd be there. He'd wait with Ember. He'd wait for her. Almost immediately, his breathing slowed . . . it was almost inperceptable. Human to a point, the vampire fell into a dreamless darkness, wishing to see Ember's face within his "dream."

Smiling to herself, Ember closed the lid just as the suns rays spilled into the room. She rolled over and was asleep with in seconds. If Nalfien were to open the casket he would see a dead Ember, not the Slightly glowing person he knew. No, She would not be her beautiful person until she fed, when she woke she would be a monster, starving and crazed.

Kamen sat on the temple steps where he had been raised. Before the temple had been there he had lived their with his master who had taught him everything. He laughed to himself as he looked at the sky waiting for the Dawn. "Well you old fool you where right I would be turned to ashes here." He shook his head as he thought about what his master had told him. He had warned him about love. That was the down fall to all. All Kamen could think about was how stupid he had been. He should have ignored Ember...just as he had the others. He should have done a lot of things different. All he had left now was to become ash. He had nothing to lose anymore. At lest this way he would leave the world on his own terms and not by some other crazed vampire with a grudge. He closed his eyes as he knew the sun's rays would be appearing shortly. He prepared himself as he prayed for his soul. He had never thought he would go this way.

"What are you doing?" A woman cloaked in shadow slipped to Kamen's side, hovering about and watching with an amused expression on her dark face. "Waiting to die, perhaps?" Her chuckle was an echo of many, and her eyes were glazed with shifting colors. Her black dress seemed to trail off into a dark mist, and her hair wisped about like another being entirely.
Reaching forward, she touched Kamen's cheek, sending a slight twinge of cold through her fingertip. "You wait for your death to come to you?"

Kamen looked to the woman. "Yes if you must Know. Why are you here? " He looked from her as he studied the sky counting in his head how much longer he head. "If you have come to kill me then hurry up before the sun beats you. If not then you need to find shelter soon."

"So emotional," she laughed, floating around behind Kamen. Taking his shoulders in her hands. Giving them a painful massage, the woman shook her head. "Killing yourself over something as small as this. People are all a bit crazy sometimes, but you shouldn't die just because some woman deserted you." She reached under his arms, pulling the vampire to his feet. "If I leave, you come with me. If you stay, then I will as well. We will both die." Her multicolored eyes looked into his as she danced in front of him, and she grinned to show off her fangs.

she gets up and as the baby in her hands and looks at the window her child sees the sun. The sun shines on the baby and her.

Kamen looked at the strange woman not sure how he felt about this. He smirked then chuckled as he looked back at her. "There is no need for you to stay with me. Why would you want to die with something you don't know. There are more reasons for me to wish my death my dear. What about you what are your reasons?"

See'r hissed, backing away from the sunlight with a pained expression. "Nina?!" he sounded panicked, but couldn't go to her. The silver-haired man shielded his eyes, moving farther from the window. With a hurt expression on his face, See'r tried to look upon his family. A few moments later, he seemed to calm a bit. "Can you both withstand the sun? Is it even possible?"

The woman tilted her head in a bird-like motion, clicking her tongue. "You want me to come up with a reason to die?" she smiled with a psychotic look on her tattooed face. "I'm a killer." Prancing in a circle about Kamen, she knelt before him. "And I'm the one that inherited this place after the last elder died away." She had taken over once the last vampire left the area. And it was obvious that she had lived alone ever since.
"I deserve to die," she hissed, looking eagerly toward the sun. "But I am not sure what will happen to me once I do. Will I roam this world, an immortal spirit for all eternity? Will I go to the cold abyss?" Her shifting hair whispered about her face, giving her a particularly innocent expression . . . until she grinned. "What will happen to poor little Rah'vin once she dies?"

Kamen looked at the strange girl as a slight smile appeared no his face. "So you are Rah'vin then?" He looked about the place, his eyes fell back upon her. "How long have you been alone here Rah'vin? Do you know the history of this place? You must have been after my time here." His eyes moved to the sky as he saw the firsts rays of sunlight peeping through the clouds trying to make their way to the earth. " You ask good questions but there is only one way to find out. Though killing yourself becuse you are a monster isn't a good reason, and you are right killing myself because of Ember isn't either really. I would rather be a monster than a fool in love."

"I refuse to speak of the history unless you choose to live." Rah'vin flit about again, coming to a rest before Kamen. Her multicolored eyes were wide as her breathing quickened - still afraid of death, as always. "If you're that desperate to know of this place's history, you'll choose life."
The mist-wreathed girl hissed and dashed toward some of the ruined building. It was time to avoid the sun. It's killing rays still frightened her, no matter how brave she said she was. Death was a frightening thing . . . even for one such as her.

((Hmmm. Maybe she was raised by the same master as Ember was. That would make them "sisters" of a sort. Ember was mistreated, but got all the attention. When Rah'vin finally got the attention she sought, she found Ember had left. Like being a secondary cast off. That would make her mad at Ember . . . in a twisted way. :P ))
