Ember fell in a crumpled mess. Tears flowed down her face as her hands held her throat. She opened her mouth to speak but she couldn't..Not even a whisper or a gasps. She stared at Kimmie, scared out of her mind. She didn't know what this girl was capable of.
|
The pink aura appeared around Kimmie Kan. When it faded a crystal ball appeared in the flowers with a pink butterfly in it. The butterfly seemed to be crying as a slight aura appeared around the crystal ball. Acting as a guard against anything that moved near it.
Kamen looked about the village as he watched the flames engulf it. "Rah'vin where are you?" He rose a brow as he finshed killing the last villager in his way. He moved about the village as he looked for her. She was quite the strange soul but who was he to judge. |
Nalfien could do nothing but watch as the magic tore into Ember. His brown eyes flashed with darkness as he glared at Kimmie, and he moved to kneel at Ember's side. "She's human!" Nalfien roared, glaring over to where the small crystal had fallen. "You'll kill her!"
Placing a hand on her throat, the half-breed hissed. Seeing so much blood made the tall man grit his teeth, his face coated in worry. "Oh, Ember." Glancing once more to where Kimmie had gone, he lifted Ember in his arms. He would take care of her in the kitchen, where there were towels and a place to put her. Placing the woman on the table, he went about gathering makeshift bandages and thread, hoping that there was a way to help her. I've never done this. I've never even tried. Nalfien stroked Ember's cheek, crooning comfortingly to her as he surveyed the wound. This was going to be painful. "Guide my hand, Father," Nalfien muttered a prayer before moving to sew up Ember's wound. Please let her regain her ability to speak. Please keep her from pain and harm. See'r looked to the baby, nodding in relief. He then turned his attention back to Nina, who was still bleeding. Tearing her clothing away from the wound, he used it to press against the bleeding. Glancing up, he noticed one of the bottles he had left lying next to the wall. Grabbing it, he uncorked it. Rolling Nina onto her side, he pressed the bottle to her lips. "Nina," he breathed. "You need to drink. If you drink, you'll heal. Come on, love." Rah'vin flit out of nowhere, wiping her hands off on her black dress. "Another bit of fun, wasn't it?" the wicked grin on her face suddenly faded. "But I couldn't kill the child. There was a child and her mother . . . it reminded me of my own mother, so I let them live." Her pale face scrunched up in annoyance. "Do you think the council will send someone after us? Do you think our actions have been enough to anger them?" |
Kamen laughed as he moved out of the rubble. "Why worry? They are always after me." He looked to the sky as he felt something weird. "Hummm if I didn't know I would say there is a hit of magic in the air. If I didn't know better the council must have let Kimmie out to play. Humm...poor Kimmie." He looked to the sky then to Rah'vin as sadness appeared on his face. He stud there as he closed his eyes and smelt the air. Pink dust could be seen in the air when the fire was present. It began to gather around Kamen and Rah'vin dancing about them. A slight smile appeared on his face as he began to laugh.
|
Ember watched as Nalfien stitched her up. She placed a hand on his cheek lovingly and slowly began to blink out. As she did she saw flashes of someone killing a family, Kamen was with her and she had a crazy flash in her eyes. Her eyes flashed back open and she screamed. "Rah'vin!" She yelled before collapsing completely.
|
Rah'vin looked at the dust in mild amusement. "What's this?" she asked, coming to stand beside Kamen. "Why are you sad?" Her skinny hand shot out to touch his cheek, and the vampire looked slightly concerned. She raised an eyebrow when he started laughing. Stepping back, she tilted her head. "What? What's going on?"
Nalfien tilted his head, moving to cradle Ember in his arms again. "Rah'vin," he repeated, frowning. Carrying the woman into her room, he set her on the bed, pulling a chair up to sit beside her. Leaning against the bed, he rested his fist in front of his mouth, watching Ember closely. "I'll stay by your side until you wake," he whispered, stroking her hair repeatedly. "I won't leave you." |
she drinks the bottle of blood she is feeling better she opens her eyes but she is still weak "what happen to me my love" she can't get up
|
Ember smiled hearing Nalfien's voice. She opened her eyes and saw him sitting beside her. "What happened? Am I in heaven?" She asked weakly. Her voice once loud and bright, sounded soft, and dark, as if it had been overused.
|
"Just stand still we are being summoned." The pink dust began to glow becoming blinding. When the glow faded Kamen found himself back where he had left from. He rolled his eyes as he moved into the yard and looked down at the crystal ball with the pink glow. He bent down and picked it up as the pink aura faded around it. Kamen turned and looked at Rah'vin. "This is who is the cause of all this. Rah'vin I would like for you to meet the councils secret weapon Kimmie Kan." He held the crystal ball up as he looked into it. He looked as he smelt blood. A look of disgust appeared on his face as he knew that blood it was embers. "I would say that Kimmie has another victim that has fell pray to her powers." He turned back and thumped the crystal ball as it shared the pink butterfly landed on his hand and stopped crying as it looked at him.
"K-Kamen SAM! Oh Kamen-Sam it is you. You came I have missed you Kamen-Sam." Kimmie shouted as she moved up his arm and nuzzled his chin. She stared up at him as she flapped her wings in a happy manner. "They did it again Kamen-Sam they said I could come here and play....they didn't say that the rude lady would be here. I didn't mean to Kamen-Sam it just happen. Why do they send me places like this Kamen-Sam why?" The butterfly cried again |
"Heaven hasn't called you back quite yet," Nalfien whispered, kissing her throat. He kissed the wound, and then moved to kiss her cheek. "For which I'm thankful." He blinked his warm brown eyes slowly, and smiled. "He doesn't need you there. You must hold some purpose here on earth." Grabbing her hand in his, the half-breed reveled in her human warmth. "Does it hurt, love?"
Rah'vin watched in amazement. "That's so odd," she murmered, looking about her. "Talking insects and glowing dust?" The small vampire sniffed the air, her eyes widening. "Is that Ember I smell?" Looking at Kamen in confusion, she smiled. "Be back soon." In no time at all, she flit into the house, standing behind Nalfien and staring down at Ember in shock. Human? She's human again? She spoke then. "How?" Nalfien started, realizing that he had missed the woman coming in. He stood, hissing quietly. "Who are you?" |
Kamen walked in and stared at ember as he stud beside Rah'vin. "Strange indeed." He peered down at her wounds then looked over to the pink butterfly on his shoulder. "I take it this is the mean and rude lady you spoke of Kimmie. I can't blame you she does have temper when she gets going. Though she is lucky the last victim the council sent you to, lost more than their life. Poor Kimmie I should have kept you with me. Those fools have no idea how to handle you." He gently petted the butterfly's wings as he smiled. "Come Kimmie lets get out of here this place is so depressing lets go find us a new place to call home. Lets find us some where that can stand a little magic."
The butterfly jumped from Kamen's shoulder as a pink aura came from it. The pink butterfly turned into the little girl as she ran up behind Kamen and grabbed his hand staring up at him lovingly. "Really Kamen-Sam you mean it? I don't have to go back to them I can stay with you?" Kimmie smiled as she giggled she had forgotten about ember and the others by now too happy to have Kamen back. "It will be like it use to be! I will no longer have to fear my magic, and I get big brother back!" Kimmie danced as she still held his hand. |
"This..Thing is my sister...or at least whats left of her." Ember sighed sitting up against the wall. The table was pretty uncomfortable, but she decided that being in the fragile state she was...then perhaps she should stay put for now...although she kept a watchful eye on her sister.
|
Rah'vin watched Kamen and Kimmie leave with a strange expression, unsure if she should follow. When she heard Ember speak, she chose to stay for a while - perhaps she could find Kamen again under later circumstances.
She smiled at Nalfien, bowing low. Seeing that Ember was in bed, the slender vampire slid into Nalfien's lap when he sat down again. Kissing his cheek, she grinned. "You have good taste," she said in a purr, leaning into Nalfien's warmth. "He's a keeper for sure, sister." Nalfien stiffened, narrowing his brown eyes as the woman flung herself into his lap. He looked to Ember, forcing himself to keep a cool expression. This means nothing. |
Ember narrowed her eyes and glared at her sister. "Can you please refrain yourself sister? Why are you here?" She asked in a low growl. She watched in anger as she got in his lap, slightly hurt that Nalfien didn't push her off, or ask her to get up.
|
Kimmie turned her head as she looked back at the group here eyes narrowing on Ember. She gently moved her hand from Kamen's as she stopped and looked at her. She then looked back to Kaman. "Kamen why do you not like her? We can't leave your friend behind. Come on Kamen-Sam you have to meet the mad vampire here! He remids me of you and the men." Kimmie Kan smiled as she looked up to Kamen. "I will try not to I promise Kamen-Sam. But with you here that want be a problem."
Kamen turned and grabbed Kimmie Kan's hand as he pulled her closer to him looking at Rah'vin. "There will be none of that Kimmie Kan. I think Rah'vin is happy here and to be with her sister. And as for the other I know him very well. If you like we will stay with Rah'vin for a while. No magic though Kimmie Kan." |
Nalfien finally couldn't take it anymore. Firmly shoving Rah'vin to the floor, he frowned. When the woman got up, she laughed.
"I am here because I wanted to see you again," the vampire said with a beaming smile. "Though . . . I wasn't going to come. We were summoned." The dark-haired woman moved to stand behind Kamen, wrapping her arms about his waist and resting her head on his arm. "I must say, Kamen's good fun. I don't plan on staying here with," she looked to Nalfien and wrinkled her nose, "him." The half-breed narrowed his eyes, and moved to grab Ember's hand. He didn't like her being in the middle of a group of vampires . . . not while she was human. Rah'vin perked up when Kamen and Kimmie decided to stay for a while. She gave him a hug, patting Kimmie's head. |
Kimmie Kan laughed at the strange woman looking up at her giving her a smile. "You are Kamen-Sam's?" She looked to Kamen as her mouth fell open. She then danced in front of him happy. She turned and looked at the others as her smile faded. She held out her hand. She moved in front of Kamen as she nodded. She dazed out as she felt his hand she always did when Kamen or the men touched her. Though Kamen did it out of kindness and fondness not out of anger that is why she loved him.
"Kimmie Kan this is not the time to play. You have done your damage for the day. No more magic remember unless you are going to change into your other form. You have already made them uneasy here." He gently placed his hand on the childs shoulder as he looked down at her. He looked over his shoulder at Rah'vin as he laughed. He then looked back to Ember. "How strange why would she want to be human again." Kamen's eyes shifted to the other. "Don't get to attached to her she will be on the councils kill list along with the rest of us. Your lucky they only sent Kimmie Kan here. Kimmie is more than she seems. She is five years younger than I am. The council have been using her for years to do their biding. Only the strongest of our kind can keep her powers under control. Ember is lucky Kimmie is a child at heart if she wasn't after all the years of being a puppet for those fools ember would be dead and many others." Kamen shifted his eyes down to Kimmie Kan who stared back at the other two. |
(you guys forgot my character again i have been waiting for a while)
|
Ember glared at Kamen but ignored him when Nalfien took her hand. She smiled at him and closed her eyes as another wave of pain hit her. "I didn't choose to be human, well I did, but it would have happened if See'r hadn't been captured by a hunter, since you decided to run away like always, Nalfien and I had to rescue him, after being starved of blood for awhile he went into a form of blood lust. He attacked Nalfien and I sacrificed myself for him. The council will not harm a human, they are sworn against it." She explained through gritted teeth.
|
Kamen erupted with laughter as he shook his head. "Oh yes she is dead. Only a fool believes that. First rule of council there are no rules. Yes I do run don't I sad thing is it seems to always be from you I wander why that is. He'll die soon enough you'll kill him." Kamen looked to Rah'vin smiling. "You should have told me your sister was so much fun. I would have liked to meet her years ago."
Kimmie stared at Ember as she glared at her. "You hurt my Kamen-Sam I'll hurt you!" She stared right into Embers eyes letting her know that was a promise not a threat. She didn't care who the girl thought she was no one talked to Kamen-Sam like that. She may not be able to control her power fully yet but she had enough to do some damage to a evil girl like her. "Humans are sweet and kind she is mean and rude her mother didn't teach her any manners no wander she has a hard time with love she doesn't know the meaning Kamen-Sam. May be their will be hope for her though as a human. I hope she learns how to smile and have fun she lacks them." Kimmie's face soften as she gave Ember a smile forgetting her anger and truly just feeling sorry for her. Kimmie looked up at Rah'vin smiling. "I like you, you are fun!" |
Ember glared at the little girl but brushed it off. She was right, her mother died when she was young, and her father had never been the one to say I love you, he never let her cry either, he was abusive and a drunk. She allowed a single tear to fall as she thought about it but closed her eyes playing it off as a wave of pain from her healing neck. She opened her eyes and looked her sister. "I really don't see why you decided to come here after you left me to deal with fathers wrath after mother died." She said angrily.

See'r held Nina close, shaking his head. "Someone attacked you," he said quietly. "Perhaps they were trying to get to Nala." His red eyes lingered on her face, and he kissed her forehead gently. "You are such a trouble magnet, love. I don't know what to do with you." The pale vampire laughed. "I leave you for a few minutes, and you end up almost dead!" "I'm glad I have a fan club already," Rah'vin said, moving to pat Kimmie's head again. "Children and handsome men? I'm in." She kissed Kamen's cheek, looking to her sister with a slight smile. "I left you because I wanted to live. I didn't want to suffer." Rah'vin's dark hair sifted about her face like a mist before she let her pale face drop into a frown. "I came to see if you'd survived. If you'd truly survived - and I see now that you have." The woman shook her head. "We both went our seperate ways. And we both met up again. Perhaps it will happen again in the future." Nalfien's hand darted over to wipe Ember's tears away, leaving a kiss on her cheek. He listened to the others, but kept his brown eyes locked on Ember herself. He had met Kamen before, but never had he seen Rah'vin or Kimmie - not that he wanted to. At this point, he was letting a silent prayer flit up to heaven - let everything end well. Bring the others to a point of peace; give them their second chance. The council rested heavily on his mind though - Ember, himself, and everyone around him was going to be hunted. Nina, Nala, See'r . . . everyone had done something that the council considered wrong. In their eyes, nothing went unnoticed. And everything was against their rules. |
she gets up and slaps him "never joke again" she leaves the baby room and goes to her room to rest for a while. nala was right behind him "let her rest for 5 hours you need to keep the baby safe for a while i will be here see'r" she smiles at him
|
With a sigh, See'r nodded. "Delicate little thing, isn't she?" His red eyes were wide as he watched Nina walk away. Moving to stand near Nala's cradle, he rocked the baby gently. "I guess I'll have to be a bit more considerate." The vampire sat near the child, leaning against the bed.
|
"So you'd rather leave your younger sister to be used, abused and beaten and save yourself?" Ember asked tightening her grip on Nalfien's hand. She may have been human, but she still had the strength of a vampire. She didn't like the fact that her sister was back, it usually meant trouble, and as Kimmie and Kamen had mention, trouble clearly wasn't to far behind her.
