Maria stood there after he left surrounded by the vampires. She was worried one of them would try something. She regretted not following him or trying to.

Gangrel dropped Telsa and went back to Maria. He usherd her up to his room and shut the door. He looked into her eyes. "Im sorry you had to witness all of that."

"It's okay. Perhaps if you were to set me free I'd be safer." Maria suggested expecting to get slapped in the face.

Gangrel placed his hands onher shoulders. "Bt where would yougo? Your family is dead, and if the other vampire clans don't kill you, the werewolves surey will. I am sorry, but it's out ofthe question."

"So you'd rather keep me prisoner? I've been trapped in this hall since I was Twelve! I turned 18 yesterday!" She said stepping away from him and looking out a window.

Tesla regained composure of her breath and anything she felt for Gangrel slowly but deliberately washed away. She walked out of her room and heard speaking in his chamber.

"They never truly learn", she said lowly, hoping to be heard, "They never learn".

She burst through the window grabbing Maria and urging the wind to snap the door close behind as she flew through it. Locking Gangrel in the room with his obvious arousal
"Cover yourself before you catch your death", she said, then, quickly fleeting from the house. She tossed Maria in a bottomless well before laughing.

"Keep warm", she said, smiling ,"Sugar".

The wind as her chariot she stepped upon clouds out of sight of any danger and wiped tears from her face unbeknownest of the damage she had just done. "Idiots, Idiots, They've all been idiots", she weeped and continued on in an unknown direction.

"I would rather keep you safe. It's just that I've known you for so long that I couldn't stand seeing anythig happen to you."

Tesla finally stopped, panting and out of breath. She had rested at the side of an old country house and peering inside. There she saw members of a family enjoying dinner and smiling, she slipped in unseen draining the father first and letting the woman stare her over before yelling. In a bright flash of movement she put her hand over the womans mouth and let the power of the winds gently put her children to sleep.

"Scream again", she said, "And I'll snap your body in half."

The woman shook her head and was quiet. Tesla smiled and snapped her neck anyway, pouring her fluid in a tall mug at the side of the table.

"They always trust far too much.", she said sitting back & enjoying the warm fluid.

As she was now satisfied, she sat on the porch listening to the nature briefly past her sensitive ears.

Maria clung onto a branch hanging over the well. She didn;t know how much longer she could hold on.

Gangrel leaped from the balcony, a pair of dark wings sprouting from his back. He flew down and grabbed Maria before she could fall. He landed with her safely on the ground.

"Why does she hate me so much?" Maria asks stepping away from him.

"Telsa has always been a bit pychotic" Gangrel said. "She is just jealous."

"Of plain, ugly me?" Maria asks tears in her eyes.

Gangrel wipes the tears from her face. "You are not ugly. You are the definition of beauty itself."

"Why do you love me? You could have anyone and yet you choose me." She said looking up.

"I love you because you are like a rose admist a field of darkness. Like a bright star inthe shadowy night."

"Again, then why keep me captured, a caged bird cannot sing." She said with a sad sigh.

"Because you are a cged bird surrounded by hungry cats. Telsa isn't the only one who wants you dead. But it is onl because you are a human."

Sighing Maria's head dropped. She hated being a prisoner, even if she had some feelings for her capturer.

Gangrel embraced Maria in his arms. "If you truly want to be free, you have two options. Death, or join my clan."

"I...I don't know. Pretty much death either way." She said aoftly, more to herself then to him.

"I can make you a member of my clan. No more slavery, no more pain, no more suffering."

"Okay." Maria says looking up into his eyes with her crystal blue ones.

Gangrel coses his eyes. He bites deeply into Marias neck, and dinks her blood. After he is finished, he flies her back to his room, and lays her out on his bed.

Maria passes out with a moan. when she wakes up she is laying on his bed.
