Roxanne smiled "Thank you miss." Lifting up her the skirt before she sat down, she made sure it was sitting properly before answering Lily's question, "Lilly's a pretty name. Yes, I'm here for a job. Is it hard to get one here? I mean, there seems to be a lot girls here all ready.." She trailed off, her self doubt showing in her face.

''Thank you. Ah, I knew it. No, it isn't hard.'' Lily said answering her question and trying to reassure her. '' So, what's your name?'' she asked sweetly. To Lily, she seemed like a sweet girl, someone she could get along with.

"Oh yes, my name! How rude of me, I completely forgot!" Roxanne laughed. "I'm Roxanne, though Roxy will also due." She beamed at Lilly. It was so easy talking to her!
"So, um, is it scary? Working at a brothel, I mean?" She looked around and shuddered at the idea of this place filled with sleazy men.

Gwen went out into the kitchen and put a pot over the stove. Gwen also got a few fruits laid out over a platter. Nothing big while they were open. They tea finished, and Gwen put everything onto a platter and started to head towards the sitting room. On the way, Gwen stopped by the room she was sure the Madam was in. "Mi'lady. There is another young women here looking for a job. I have placed her in the sitting room." Gwen told her before walking back out and into the room the two girls were in. Gwen place the tray down, handed out the tea and took a seat.

"Thank you again," Roxanne said gratefully before biting her lip, a telltale sign that she was having a hard time deciding what to pick. Finally, she decided on some grapes. Reaching towards the platter, she picked a small bunch up and placed them on her lap.
"How long have you been working here?" Roxanne directed her question at Gwen. She didn't know her name and felt awkward calling her 'miss' so she avoided calling her by a name.

Gwen took a sip of her tea. Watching the girl, though being sure Roxanne would not notice. With all the new girls, one had to wonder what was going on that night. Gwen knew her brother would not be very pleased with the idea of all these younger women working here. Then again, was not much you could expect from a Catholic priest. "For about three years." She answered Roxanne.

''What a lovely name''. Lily said to Roxanne. She liked how it sounded. ''Thank you.'' Lily told Gwen. She took a slow sip of tea, then reached for a grape. '' Well, I don't know I haven't actually worked yet. I just arrived a few minutes before you did. I'm not exactly sure what to expect.'' She said quietly, she felt a bit nervous, trying not to show it.

"Ugh, what time o' day s'it?" Blossom muttered to herself, stretching as she stood from her bed. She roughly tore the clothes form her body and put on yet another dress, quickly doing her hair and makeup. Yawning as she exited her room, she quickly stepped down the stairs and into the sitting room.

"'Ello everybody, I didn't sleep in, did I-" she stopped short when she saw another young lady in the room. "Well, 'ello there, love! Don't reckon I've seen ya 'round 'ere. Ya new? If ya'are, the names Blossom, Blossom Kerr." she rushed through her introduction, eager to learn the identity of what appeared to be another new workmate.

Lily looked up at Blossom curiously. She picked up a couple of strawberries and began chewing thoughtfully. She started thinking about why she came here in the first place. She didn't have a place to go, since her drunk father kicked her out. Well, he was one reason why. Oh, how she deeply missed the mother she never met.

Annabell was listening in the room. She stood in the background but decide to try and get Gwen to notice her. She placed her two hands around Gwens neck causing her to feel as if she couldn't although she could. 'GWEN! CAN YOU HEAR ME?!' She screamed as loud as she could.

"Hello Blossom" Gwen said as she leaned down and picked up a grape. Poping the sweet fruit into her mouth. Suddenly, she felt as if someone was choking her from behind. Gwen gasped as the grape got itself stuck in her throat. Forcing her to really choke.

Lily felt that uneasiness again. She shifted then looked around the room. She saw Gwen choking, and tried to stay calm. '' Oh my goodness, Gwen, are you alright?!" she asked in a panicked voice. She rushed over to Gwen and patted her back, trying to get the grape dislodged from her throat.

Annabell let go and pulled away. 'SOMEONE HELP HER!' She again sound like nothing more than wind.

As Lily was trying to do the Heimlich maneuver on Gwen, she thought she heard faint whispering. No one was talking though. ''That's strange,'' she thought to herself," sounded like wind. But how could there be wind inside of here? Oh, well must be a drafty place.''

Gwen swallowed the grape as Lily patted her on the back. She turned to Lily, "Thank you" Gwen was a bit frightened now though. The feeling of someone chocking you was never a very pleasant one.

"You're welcome. What happened?'' Lily asked her. Gwen looked frightened, Lily knew she would be too if she was choking. She hoped she was okay.

Annabell felt bad but she needed Gwen to know she was here. This time she focused her thoughts on Gwen. Her voice went through her head sounding like. '...me..bell...jack....dead...elp' She was trying to say, It's me Annabell Jack killed me I'm dead help me.

Gwen shoker her head, hearing the voice through her head now. "I am alright. I think I just need to go lay down. I think I am going crazy or something."

Annabell screamed and fell backward on a dusty old chair causing a cloud of dusy to wirl up around her making her human outline appear for a moment.

''Okay, rest would be good." Lily said calmly. Lily took a a few more sips of tea as she pondered. She wondered what would have happened if she hadn't been there, or even Roxanne. She pushed the thought away, she didn't want to scare herself, or become paranoid. Lily looked across at a chair and saw dust rising, but no one even touched it. Suddenly, she thought she saw what looked like some one sitting on the chair. She gasped. ''Oh goodness, I hope I'm not going crazy, too. What a night.''

"Hope you feel better Gwen," Roxanne called out before bringing her attention back towards Lilly. Roxanne looked at Lilly and then at where she was looking.
"I don't think you are," she informed her, "I see it too." Roxanne placed her grapes and her cup of tea down near the platter before getting up from her chair. Slowly, she made her way across the room to the chair where the outline could be seen. Thinking that it was just a coincidence, for she wasn't the type who believed in ghosts, Roxanne moved her hand over the outline, as if to clean it away. But instead of meeting dust and the fabric of the chair, her hand met a cold and eerie feeling. Retracting her hand back immediately, Roxanne gestured for Lily to come over to the chair.
"Feel this! It's... I don't know what it is!" Roxanne exclaimed.

Lily watched Roxanne walk to the chair. ''Good, I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees it.'' Lily said with a sigh. She walked over to the chair and then put her hand where Roxanne had and her eyes widened. There a was a spot of coldness, and Lily shook her hand back then wiped it on her dress, as if to rid it of the coldness. ''Oh my goodness, it feels like ice.'' She said in disbelief to the girl.
