"The space needle? That was one of the only buildings that lasted!" Ninde laughed drly. "It was also one of the safest places to be. Zombies don't know how to use elevators and the doors to the stairs had been locked. It was too much of an effort for them to get in. Though, some did inhabit the lower levels of the building." Bringing her glass up to her lips, she finished of the rest of her drink. A clinking noise came from the glass as Ninde set it down.
"Where were you from originally? I mean, did you travel to get here?" Ninde looked Nym.

Nym nodded, "I came close to here with a few friends--" She cut herself off. At first her expression turned sorrowful, put she soon perked up. "--They all died, though." She finally finished, trying her best not to feel down. Even though death was a sad thing, it wasn't something you should linger over entirely. And now, people dropped off like flies if they weren't careful. "I myself originally came from an area in North Dakota. I didn't like it there, though, nobody really cared for anyone." She said. She was interested how her favorite building, which she had never actually seen, was still standing. That was good, maybe one day when the skies cleared she'd go out there. The thought made her smile, clearer skies.

"Oh!" She exclaimed, completely forgetting what the time was and seeing that everyone that once was in the bar was gone besides Nym, Ninde, and the bartender. "I'm sorry, we have to leave, don't we? I mean, everyone else is gone and it's getting pretty late..." She trailed off, hoping she wasn't boring the poor southern girl.

"Aw don't worry 'bout it, hun." She said, smiling. "This place don't really close at all, when nobody's here I take breaks. But ya'll are right, it's gettin' a bit late, huh? Them zombies are going to be out in the hundreds real soon."

Hearing the word 'zombies', Ninde's hand instinctively twitched towards Mr. Happy. She stopped herself though, when she realized that the bartender was talking about.
"Where are we going to stay for tonight, Nym? Because if you had somewhere specific we should head out soon before it gets dark. Not that I don't mind some target practice," she laughed at her own joke, knowing that they probably wouldn't get it for the same reason she gets it. Back when she was traveling, each night was filled with running and what she had fondly nick-named 'target practice', where she would take down whole hordes of zombies with one round of bullets and some strokes with her chainsaw.

Nym shook her head a bit, smiling apologetically to Ninde. "Well, I actually never thought of that part, you see. I was thinking just to make it back to the main area of the Box, like the way I came in through the vent." She said. Inside the main area was probably the safest place to be, and it probably had places and such to sleep. Besides, it's not like Nym was here long enough to actually find a good place to rest.
"We'll be leaving," Nym said, placing some canadian coins and brass button on the table for payment. The bartender took it happily, a trade was a trade. When outside and again on top of the roofs, Nym looked about. Now, there were no people at all in stead of the sometimes few, and undead roamed about without countable numbers. "So, should we head back, then?" She asked Ninde, who looked a bit nervous at the zombie hordes.

"Yeah, but wait a second," Ninde held up her right and and with the left she brought out Mr. Happy {I just love that name XD It's ironic!}. Brining him up to eye-level, she shot down three zombies then reloaded her gun. None of the other dead seemed to notice the decrease in their brethren as they stumbled on, searching for living flesh.
"'Kay, let's go!" Ninde smiled at Nym before taking off, stopping a few feet before each gap between roofs so that she could have a head start.

Nym laughed at Ninde's display of shooting. "Nice targeting." She commented as they both bolted on top of the buildings. Ninde got the lead, so Nym tried with all her might to catch up, even though she was careful not to slip and fall. Then again, no matter how careful you are, slip ups just happen. Tripping over a random loose wire, Nym fell through the gap between two buildings and went tumbling down below where the undead crawled. Thankfully, she landed on top of an old dumpster and there was not a zombie in sight yet. "Ninde!" She yelled for help, but laughing too. It was kind of fun falling, even though she could die down here.

After seventeen seconds, Ninde's head appeared over the edge of the gap where Nym just fell.
"Why are you laughing?" she asked before shaking her head. "Never-mind. Here, climb the rope." A thick, tan rope came tumbling down, coming short of where Nym was standing by half a foot. "Let me tie it first," Ninde called out before her head disappeared. A minute later it reappeared, followed by the words, "'Kay, you can climb up now!"

"I don't know!" Nym yelled back while Ninde got the ladder, still laughing. "I guess it was just really funny that I actually fell and all." She said, grabbing onto the rope and trying to climb up. Nym wasn't exactly the best climber, but she had learned how to at least make it up in a minute's period. Inching up, she was going to make some remark about how she hadn't seen any undead when a cold grip tugged on her leg. Oh shoot. She though, letting out a slight scream and kicking the undead creature with her boot. There were about three, crawling around the dumpster with absolutely no clue how to get up.
"You really are stupid, aren't cha?" Nym commented as she let go of the rope and brought out the gun that sat in her pocket, being that she didn't have her big weapon gun with her. She fired, shooting all three of them in the top of the head. Two more heard the cries of their dying brothers and came to investigate. Probably more would come soon. Nym yelled back up to Ninde, starting to laugh again. "Hey, Ninde!" She called, "You said something about target practice?"

The early signs of an adrenaline rush ran up Ninde's legs and sent goose-bumps all over her arms.
"Climb the rope, I'll get rid of them!" she assured Nym while pulling out her Desert Eagle. Mr. Happy was too all-over-the-place for a job like this. The last thing anyone wanted was for Nym to become a meal. The last thing anyone wanted, except for the dead.
BANG! BANG! BANG! Ninde shot three dead down, only to have them replaced by five more. Beginning with the ones closest to the dumpster, she started shooting the zombies one by one. Pure and concentrated energy coming from an adrenaline rush was all spent on aiming.

"Ha." Nym said, obviously choosing not to climb the rope. Besides, the dumpster was close enough to windows that Nym could climb on much more easily then inching up the rope. Nym fired a couple of shots at remaining undead as she prepared to jump. Holding in her breath, she leaped over to the first story window and tried crawling upward to the next. A zombie grabbed onto her leg, making a sharp pain in her flesh with it's nails before being shot dead by Ninde overhead. By the time Nym had made it to the second story, the ever-coming undead was piled all over the place. Ninde seemed to be nervous and excited at the same time, but she was firing some really good shots. Nym took out her pocket gun again, shooting a few more in the head until she felt like she could jump up again.

Struggling onto the roof, Nym finally managed to hold her balance and look down. "Well, that was fun?" She asked, firing more shots at the zombie creatures. And then suddenly she remembered the pain in her leg. Looking down and folding up her camo pants for a better look, she noticed the cut was a pretty deep wound. The blood was almost seeping through her pants. "Dang." She mumbled, "But the good news is that it didn't bite me or anything, just the nails which are pretty harmless." Well, unless she bled to death. But that probably wouldn't be a problem, being that they were very close to the Box already and Nym started putting countless Dora the Explora band-aids all over her wound (Which may or may not have helped at all, they were just in her pocket).

Ninde glanced at Nym out of the corner of her eye.
"You know," she began, focusing on the zombies that where piling up against the building like flies on a carcass, "I have a first-aid kit in my backpack, you don't need to use those. I left it in a corner somewhere on this roof." Putting away her pistol, since she didn't need to worry about Nym getting shot, Ninde pulled out Mr. Happy. Not so much taking aim as it was pointing the machine-chainsaw over the edge of the building, she fired off a round of bullets before having to reload.
"Only about twelve zombies left," she commented while looking down. That seemed about right, but it was hard to tell dead zombies from living ones, especially since living zombies already looked dead.

"Haha." Nym said, "Twelve? Mr. Happy is some gun..." She commented, looking around for the first aid kit. Personally, if band-aids helped wounds Nym would have preferred to keep them one, but being that they probably weren't she went along to find the medial kit. Locating it, she opened it up and looked at the wipes, needles, and disinfectants. Nym, who never used a first-aid kit in her life, was completely unaware what to do with all the equipment.
"Um...Ninde?" She asked over the shooting roar of Mr. Happy, "What do I do with these?"

As the last zombie fell to the ground, blood beginning to pool around it's head, Ninde turned to look at Nym.
"Oh, well first you have to clean the wound," she laughed light-heartedly. Never having been prepped in how to treat a wound, she had to self-teach. She still wasn't sure if she had dressed half of her wounds properly but she was still alive, wasn't she? Waddling over to Nym on her knees -Ninde was too lazy to actually get up- she whistled when she saw the wound. "Ouch," she commented before gently taking the first-aid kit out of her friend's hands. "Don't worry, I'll take care of it," she smiled at Nym before removing the band-aids her leg. Taking a wipe, she started to wipe away the dirt that was collecting around the wound.
