Ivory sniffled and looked up at her father as he wiped away her tears. "I-I... Danced... And Tavyn..... And... And..." she choked, too emotionally wound up to get any actually understandable sentences out. More footsteps were heard and Kiyomi knelt next to Devan, looking worriedly at her little angel. Ivory then clung to her arm too, making the pale mother rub her young one's back soothingly. "Oh baby... My little Ivory..." Kiyomi cooed softly and looked at Devan. They both had feared such things happening to their daughter. Being such an exotic little beauty, they had known that breaking hearts, and getting her own heart broken would happen. Though it saddened the mother to see it already happening. "I-I didn't mean to..." Ibory sniffled, slowly getting more and more drowsy in her parents' arms.

Grinning as he heard his sister, and felt her playing with his beads and feather, Nori chuckled. "I told you Tay! This place is gonna be the greatest!" he said excitedly, and feeling her tiredness, he started feeling tired. "Me too..." he agreed as they headed for their bedroom. They shared the nest of blankets and pets on the mattress that was on the floor. Usually it was just a simple mattress with pillows and blankets, but this was made of pelts and the mattress was stuffed with straw and feathers. Changing into his pjs, Nori crawled into the bed with Tayla and clasped her hand, slowly falling asleep with the warmth of the blankets and the comfort of his sister.

"I'll talk with Tavyn," Devan said quietly, his fingers running through Ivory's dark hair. He looked cool, calm, and ready to handle the situation. Already? She's not even a teenager. The vampire kissed his wife's cheek before doing the same for his daughter. "Why don't you get ready for bed?"

The male straightened and let his red eyes move to Tavyn's room. Their hut had three rooms, and they'd allowed Tavyn to have his own. When Devan knocked on the door, he heard the light sound of a child's feet move across the floor. "Tavyn?" He entered, quietly shutting the door behind him. The talk would be short, but meaningful.

They held gazes.

"You're hurting her."

Tavyn winced as though stung.

"You said you'd never hurt her, Tavyn."

None of the words were accusing. They were soft, gentle . . . and true. That's where the pain came from. "I just . . ." The redhead trailed off, his pale blue eyes lowering. His anger collapsed upon itself, leaving him feeling childish and petty. He was the oldest. He should be more responsible and mature than this.

Devan watched in silence as the boy reached up and undid the feathers that were bound in his hair. Tavyn would speak when he was ready. Devan was good at waiting. He didn't have to wait long.

"I've known her since she was born, Devan. I can't help but feel that . . . that she's . . ."

When he trailed off again, the vampire stepped up to the bed and sat beside the child. "That she's yours." A cold hand rested on the boy's back as soon as the statement was confirmed. "She's no one's, Tavyn. She is your friend, and she is still your friend."

"But Xiba has no place in this!" Tavyn's pale features hardened, and his eyes shot up to Devan. His anger steadily gained momentum again. "He can't just come in and take her from me!"

Somehow, the little boy was gone in those moments. Tavyn was speaking words that he shouldn't have ever considered at his age. Devan narrowed his eyes as he saw a flicker of hatred flow through Tavyn's features. "Ivory can choose who she wants."

"Then she should choose me!" Tavyn pulled away from Devan's hand, his boyish features contorting in rage. "She's always chosen me!"

Devan stood, watching Tavyn carefully. Something in the mixed-blood was acting up. He could smell it. The boy had always been more shifter than vampire, but even as he watched the child's fangs grew. He looked . . . horribly uncontrolled. "Tavyn, sit. Now." Devan took on a cold, harsh tone and bore his fangs. "Now."

"I don't have to, dad!" Tavyn blinked, startled that the word slipped. He'd always seen Devan as a father figure. Markous, though, was his true father. The redhead snarled, and then stuffed his head into his hands. "Go away. I don't want to talk to you."

Devan slowly let himself relax. Though Tavyn was a child, his mixed blood could react strangely. Who knew what the boy could do when he reached his full potential? Markous himself had been dangerous. It was incredible that Lana had been able to keep him happy - they'd worked on training the beast until it was calm. Tavyn, though, hadn't had the chance. The beast hadn't even come into play yet.

When the tall male left Tavyn's room, his crimson eyes were narrowed. They would have to train the boy soon.
-

Tayla changed and got into bed first. As her twin curled up beside her, the pale-skinned girl sighed happily. A smile slowly grew on her lips as she thought about the night. Mostly, she thought about Zaylin. The warmth and the sound of her brother's slow breathing slowly lulled the girl to sleep.

Yes. This was going to be the greatest trip.

Ivory had soon been consoled by her mother and helped into her pjs. Laying in her bed, the female hybrid closed her eyes and sighed. Her mother was right. Boys will be boys, and she wouldnt try to hurt them, but she wasn't going to let them hurt her either. Looking up at her mom tiredly, she reached out, taking a strand of her mother's long hair in her hand. "I wanna be like you someday momma... I wanna be happy and find the boy that's perfect for me... And still have fun.." she said softly, her words slowly turning into mumbles as she fell asleep. Walking out of the room slowly, Kiyomi met Devan as he walked out of Tavyns room. Her eyes said it all, she had been listening to them with her mind. "He's protective of what he thinks is his, just like Markous is... He is very protective of mother and Lana... They are the most precious to him, and he's snapped at a few packmates before... We have to watch Tavyn..." she said softly as they walked into their own room. "Even though I believe having Tavyn being close to our baby can be a good thing, it could also be a bit of a dangerous thing." she said softly and looked to devan before hugging him tightly as they laid in bed together. "Why did it have to start already?" she whispered and then soon settled down the best she could and fell asleep in her husband's arms.

Devan agreed quietly. They would have to watch Tavyn carefully. As Kiyomi slid into his arms, the vampire let out a sigh. Why now? He wasn't sure. The change of scenery had triggered something, perhaps. Who knew?

Silently, he kissed Kiyomi's pale hair. "It will end." Already she was relaxed, slipping into sleep. Devan didn't sleep - as usual. He rarely did. Settling down, the vampire let his glowing eyes linger on Tavyn's room. He didn't miss the muffled sound of a child crying.

Too soon. It's happening far too soon.
-

The next day started early. Morrigan was the first creature up out of their entire group. The dark-haired woman was up with the sun, and out with the hunters as they prepared for their morning expedition. She wanted to go with them. They promised that she could learn to shift forms again.

Her features were smooth, and as the woman adjusted her loose shirt she scented something that made her curious. Morrigan looked up to find one of the hunters watching her closely. Mistrust? No. The tribe leaders would have mentioned it. Caprey would have said something to Kiyomi, who would have told her if something was wrong.

Scowling, Morrigan brushed hair from her face in irritation. The pulsing red on her left hand flared. When she'd killed the elemental . . . it had scarred her. She lived with it now, and rarely suffered from either heat or cold. Still, it was another thing that needed to be trained.

As the first group of hunters moved out, Morrigan followed.

"Not with them." The male from earlier was beside her suddenly. "With me." His dark brown eyes were nearly black against his tanned face. He was more . . . well-kept than many of the other weres, but he still smelled of a shifter. Obviously he was a friend of Jaffair's.

Morrigan narrowed her eyes, but followed silently. They headed in the opposite direction as the hunters disappeared. As the male shifted into a dark wolf, Morrigan picked up her pace. She'd keep up.

Jaffair had explained to Yuki where Morrigan went when the hunters had left. The blonde male hadn't been happy about it completely, but he then got to get some training out of it as well. Having convinced the elder pureblood vampire to spar with him, Yuki knew he was in for a great work out. He had a love for sparing, and knowing Jaffair was a pureblood made it even better. They soon went to the sparing ring in the village, and started fighting, moving swiftly. It was a blurr of constant motion, until Yuki flew out of the ring from a round house kick that Jaffair had landed solidly. Getting back up again, Yuki grinned and wiped the corner of his mouth free of his blood. Jaffair seemed unaffected as he watched Yuki walk towards him once more. "You're growing much stronger then you were from slaying Cain." Jaffair said on the breeze, and the were grinned. "I can't say much for you Jaffair, I haven't actually witnessed you fight until now. But you're pretty damn good." Yuki said smartly as they slowly circled eachother. Both men smirked after the comment and knew that a small crowd was gathering to watch now. They were soon bluffs once more, it seemed neither would back down yet.

Nori awoke after he heard a knock at the door. Getting up, he slipped from bed and ran over to his mother. Latching onto her leg be was surprised to see Zaylin standing there. "Goodmorning Zaylin." Tofu said kindly, and the young hybrid bowed at the waist. "Good morning as well." he said formally and then looked to Nori excitedly. "Father and Yuki are sparing, come watch swiftly!" he said excitedly. "Go tell Ivory and Tayvn! I will be out fast!" Nori said thrilled, and ran back into his room swiftly to adorn the tribal wear once more. He then informed Tayla and dashed outafter Zaylin.

Zaylin had just informed the excited Ivory when Nori arrived. Explaining where the ring was, Zayling and Nori left Ivory to get dressed and tell Tayvn. Ivory, being excited to see the kind Jaffair actually sparing got dressed in her tribal dress and then lightly knocked on Tayvn's door, hoping to not be pushed away from him again. She hoped be wouldn't shun her anymore.

((Man, this is so old! <3 I loved and still love this one. Hmmm. I recall plans about Morrigan learning to shift, and how we'll cause sparks between Xiba and Tavyn. I can't recall many of our plans, though. We were going to send everyone to the springs eventually. LOL))

Hearing the news about the sparring match, Tayla brightened. She stayed close to Nori as they headed to the ring, and her blue eyes found the blurs of motion easily. As always, she analyzed the differences between the two combatants - and as she scented the vague hint of blood, the urge to heal came to her. Still, she hadn't yet been able to foster the talent. She had healing capabilities, but wasn't able to use them yet.

A familiar voice drew her attention from the fight. Seeing Zaylin, the silver-blonde girl offered a (what Nori would define as friendly) nod. When she looked back to the battle, the girl felt her pulse rise. This was quite the sparring match.

-

Tavyn brushed red hair from his face, ignoring the excited voices outside his door. He could hear them just fine - he already knew what was happening. When Ivory knocked, the youth stayed sitting on his bed. It was many long moments (and a second knock) later when he finally went to open the door.

The oldest of the children looked at Ivory for many long moments. He took in her pale face and familiar features before forcing himself to smile a bit. "I heard." There was an awkward silence before Tavyn opened his door and allowed Ivory to enter. "I'll be ready in a minute."

With that said, the youth rushed to get dressed before heading back over to her. "Let's go see what Yuki can do." He felt . . . older. In fact, his age felt much more obvious now. Tavyn wasn't sure he liked it.

((Yes and zaylin and Tayla will start liking eachother a lot. Tavyn is going to steal Ivory away from Xiba every chance he gets, and Nori is going to start crushing on Bo. ^_^ hehe I could never forget any of this! ))

Zaylin caught Tayla's eye as they stood infront of the sparing circle, and nodded his head with a grace of a smile. She was so beautiful in the sunlight, her pale features so angelic. The young hybrid male stood beside Nori and watched his father's movements. It was a rare occasion to ever see the always gentle Jaffair spar or fight. Though his prowess was known widely across their land, the vampire hardly ever seemed to need to sharpen his skills. Being such an old and strong being, his father never lacked in the strength and speed... And if anything, his painful paralyzing powers would stop anyone in their tracks. Daylong was impressed Yuki was keeping up.

Nori stood between Tayla and Zaylin, hardly noticing their friendly silent greeting. The black haired boy was transfixed on Yuki, wstching in awe at his movements and skill. To keep up with Jaffair, who smelled and felt more powerful then Devan was blowing the young male's mind. Looking around he noticed their parents had arrived as well as Ivory's parents. They all seemed as intrested as the village people in this little spar.

Ivory was a bit worried as it took quite awail for Tavyn to open the door. When he came out, the young hybrid was about to speak when he spoke first. Surprised but happy, the young girl flashed a light smile at him. Walking into his room she looked around and waited as he got dressed. When he was finished she beamed and nodded. Taking his hand like she always did, she didn't even think about it. It was so natural to her that she found it only right. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." She said softly and looked into his eyes hoping as they stopped in their tracks that he would forgive her. She looked his facial features over and he looked, tired? She couldn't tell what was different, but she knew well enough that something was different. She knew his face almost better then her own.

((Oooooh, and the vampires children will show up, too! :O Man, that was a while ago. So long since we've talked about this! LOL))

Tayla continued to watch the blurred movements of the sparring match intently. Analyzing, as she always did, the girl took in the speed and force that Jaffair used against Yuki. As others began to arrive and watch, Tayla's blue eyes followed the two through their flawless movements. Neither of them would score a hit for many minutes - they just flew into fits of movement that were difficult even for their trained eyes to follow.

The blows gained were minor - a slap here, a shove there - and didn't progress the fight much. As intensity built, Tayla tasted it in the air. As though in response, her own power tingled in her fingers.

Another strike met, and this time it was Yuki who stumbled back a step. His retaliation hardly phased Jaffair, and the blond vampire easily moved to avoid the Were. Tayla's eagerness built, and her hand sought Nori's in response.

-

When Ivory took his hand, Tavyn smiled grimly. This felt so right . . . how could she ever be meant for someone else? She was his. She was always his, and always had been. The redhead's pale eyes lingered on their linked hands as they headed toward the gathered crowd.

They stopped suddenly, and Tavyn frowned. Hearing her apology, he met the girl's eyes. She could tell something was different. It bothered him more than before, now. "You didn't mean to." The words were still sharper than he intended, but Tavyn meant it. "Xiba was just walking you home." His gaze flit away from hers, uncomfortable with the scrutiny. She was right to search him, though. He'd changed overnight - literally.

Even Devan had noticed. The youth's powers as a hybrid were growing, finding their place within him. Tavyn didn't like the thought. He knew that his father had troubles with it. He knew that things would change the moment he showed signs of power. He didn't want that. He hated being different - even though Ivory was just as mixed-blooded as he was. Weakness was something he hated showing.

The male kept his gaze on their hands for many moments before finally looking up to meet Ivory's gaze. She looked the same, as she always did. "I shouldn't have been like that. It was wrong."

-

Xiba approached the crowd, a grin on his face. He'd heard about the fight, and was ready to see what Jaffair could do. It had been a long while since he'd seen the vampire fight. The redhead glanced toward the huts as he approached. Seeing Ivory, he smiled . . . and paused. With a polite nod, he moved on to join the rest of his clan. Something was going on between Ivory and Tavyn, and he didn't want to interrupt.

His sister followed him, carrying a handle-less basket of long-stemmed flowers. Bo's delicate features were the envy of many, though her shy demeanor kept her from talking to most of the males in her pack. She loved her brother more than anything, and was the gentle voice of reason in his sporadic friendliness. As she sat cross-legged at her brother's feet, Bo began to weave. She was making crowns for the visitors, and wanted to know the outcome of the battle between Yuki and Jaffair.

Brown hair flit around her features as she glanced up, and then back to the small flowers that she worked with. Bo smiled as Xiba's hand rested on her head. The battle would go well - and they were all eager to see who would win the sparring match.

Nori watched the intense fight with gleaming eyes and a wide grin. He reached for Tayla's hand and took it. The fight was intense and when Yuki came back and landed a bit, a unison breath intake came from the crowd as the fight paused. The vampiric elder seemed to be extremely surprised as well. But he regained his composure as Yuki came back at him. The male kept calm as they continues their sparing and when Jaffair suddenly moved faster he pinned Yuki. The end of the fight was signaled and people cheered. Getting up Yuki brushed himself off and rustled Nori's hair lightly before shaking hands with Jaffair, both laughing.

Ivory looked into Tayvn's eyes and then leaned forward. Pressing a soft kiss to his cheek, the hybrid smiled gently. Reaching up with a pale hand she cupped his tanned cheek and let out a soft purr. "I understand Tayvn.... I know you feel close to me and I feel close to you.... That will never change." She said reassuringly and squeezed his hand. "Legs do our best to stay happy!" She said lightly and giggled. Leading him towards their friends and family she cheered happily with everyone else as the fight finished. She was delighted to see everyone happy, and then noticed Xiba. He looked like Tayvn, rugged and handsome in the morning. She must have something for red heads considering she adored Tayvn and there was something about Xiba that attracted her also. But for now, she hoped to just enjoy this trip with her family.

Haruhe returned with the morning's kill along with Caleb, enjoying the early morning hunt. Though as they stopped by to drop off the food, Toru and Kei were peaking out of the cooking tent. "What's going on?" The black hybrid asked lightl and Toru giggled. "Yuki and Jaffair just finished sparing. It was amazing to watch. Everyone is over there now." The young mother and cook informed the hunters as she looked over the kill. "Beautiful meat. Good job." She praised lightly and Haruhe beamed widely. "We'll there will be more like for awail with me and Caleb here."

Kiyomi watched with intrest as she leaned against Devan. Enjoying his cool skin against her warm skin was refreshing. Knowing that they could learn a lot from the vampiric elder she wasn't worried for Yuki. He was their best fighter, and he had proven so when slaying Cain. Now they were faced with the devil's spawn being pureblooded vampires, who were out after their children. This wasn't a good thing at all, and the best way to figure out how to keep the vampires from killing them of hurting anyone was to ask a pureblood themselves. Though the seriousness would have to wait. Once the children get settled and everyone for the child festival was ready, the couples would return to the springs RFID a long needed break from parenting these little angels. Running her thumb over those cold knuckles the alpha female smiled softly. "I enjoy it here." She breathed softly, knowing her husband's vampiric hearing could pick up on it.

Tayla beamed as the fight ended. Her inquisitive eyes took everything in - as always - with a kind of insatiable curiosity. Her grip on her brother's hand was so tight, it cut off his circulation by the time Jaffair pinned Yuki. With a cry! The girl jumped once and turned to hug her brother. The intensity was finally over!

"So fast!" she said, going over the fight in her mind. Blue eyes were wide as she stepped back, motioning with her hands. "Try something with me," Tayla said, suddenly seeming to come out of her shell for the first time since they'd arrived. "Do what Jaffair did." Mentally, she flashed an image of one of the vampire's grabs. It couldn't be as easy to escape from as Yuki made it look. It couldn't be.

-

When Ivory pressed a kiss to his cheek, Tavyn chuckled. He met her eyes earnestly as she reassured him, her fingers brushing his face. The redhead gave Ivory's hand a squeeze in response to her grip tightening. This was how it should always be.

Ivory admitted what Tavyn had been thinking about ever since they arrived. They were close - very close. The closest out of anyone, save Nori and Tayla. This was different, though. Ivory was more than a sibling. She was more than a friend.

Tavyn gently bumped his hip against Tayla's as they approached the excited bystanders from the fight. He didn't miss the way Ivory's pretty eyes lingered on Xiba. Turning the thought aside, the were started listening to what had happened during the fight.

-

Morrigan returned a few minutes after Haruhe and Caleb. She walked calmly beside the were that had identified himself as Pantheon, an old friend of Jaffair's. He was visiting the tribe - just as Morrigan's pack was. As they spoke quietly, Morrigan seemed ... unsettled. Her red eyes immediately began to search for Yuki as they neared the others.

Pantheon quietly nodded to her before joining the rest of the pack. Morrigan saw Yuki, and bee-lined right for him. "What happened?" she asked, the red on her wrist flashing with her pulse. "Was someone hurt?" There was too much excitement for her liking.

Nori embraced his sister tightly as the fight was over. He was so enthusiastic that he wanted to spar suddenly too! Looked to Zaylin the hybrid was beaming brightly and his eyes lingered with admiration on Tayla's features so lively. The dark haired twin was surprised as his usually timid sister asked to spar. She wanted to spar! This had to be a first, that the young boy could remember anyways. Nodding with a grin he took up the vampire's stance across from his sister and then took in a breath to calm his still excited system. For being so young, Nori showed great talent when it came to combat. Of all the children he had the most talent for the activity, and the most dedicated. He and Tayla were definitely opposites, but in a very good way, because they balanced one another out perfectly.

Zaylin watched the fight besides the twins with an joys eyes. His father had never lost before, and the young boy didn't know how he could take it if he saw him loose. When the pale male vampire pureblood won, the halfbreed have a woop of joy and jumped happily. Suddenly Tayla broke out of her shell, and the fair toned male was stunned. His eyes of bright purple locked onto her beautiful features and memorized every moment she made. That excitement, those sparkling eyes. He felt his world shift right then, his body felt light, his heart felt like it might explode, and his knot in his stomach disappeared in an instant. Blinking he watched the twins take stances and tried to peal his eyes away from the beautiful blonde were, but he just couldn't. And he was perfectly content with that.

Ivory grinned as the fight ended and jumped up happily. Embracing Tayvn tightly, she grinned and kissed his cheek. Blushing as she found he easily caught her and was holding her close, the hybrid girl found herself leaning her forehead against his. Closing her eyes she memorized his pulse, breathing, and heartbeat. It calmed her very being, and his warmth was something she envied. Opening her eyes as she found herself slowly being lowered to the ground, the raven haired beauty looked up into that familiar face she adored. "That was... Amazing." She said gently as she met his bright blue eyes.

((I had the most amazing idea! What if the village is attacked while all the parents leave for the springs, and the children have to kill. It will cause them all to find their powers and then we can have some epic drama. I was thinking that Xiba is left for practically dead, and Tayla is too tired to heal him, so he asked Ivory to end him, and she obeys because she doesn't want to see him in pain. And when she tastes his blood she shifts and goes nuts, and then the parents burst in and try to fix the situation. And Nori saves Bo, so then that romance can start. What do you think?))

Yuki smiled seeing Morrigan come over and he wiped the blood from his lip again. "Nothing's wrong, Jaffair and I just finished sparring. It caused a big ruckous apparently. Everyone was excited to see the two village heros fight it out." He said lightly and then Jaffair walked up with Caprey at his side and Patheom on the other. "Good spar Jaffair." Yuki said brightly and the elder vampire flashed a fang filled smile, showing just how much he enjoyed the excersize. "Yes, you did well as well Yuki.... I wanted you to meet my good friend Patheon. He is village chief of the southern were country... Down there they successfully united all the weeds under one male, and he has come here upon my request... He met Morrigan this morning, and he's volunteered to help her shift once more." The blonde male explained and Yuki grinned and held out his hand to the new male. "It's an honor to meet you. I am greatful for you leading the weres in the south. Being united really helps us in Japan so I can only imagine what prosperity will come to your people." He said with bright sure optimism. It was part of his demeanor. The blonde wolf/jaguar hybrid was pureblood were but a mix I between the two animals. His one pierced ear flickered with the black furr and his lean build and very tall height made him almost equal to some of the tallest amazons, who were famed for height. Though lately with the pack becoming so famous for Moonbeam and Senri, as well as the union of Kiyomi and Devan, the hunters were becoming very famed. They were feared, for they never failed. With Haruhe's tracking, Caleb's teleporting, Yuki's pain, and Morrigan's unique powers they were the force that the vampires truely feared. Plus it was onl a matter of time that the young ones would soon become famous, they were royal and hybrids, with powers unlike any other. They would surely draw attention. But with all that, the male stayed humble, as did the family.

Tayla actually didn't notice Zaylin's attention. Her focus remained on sparring with her brother as she mentally prodded him through the battle. She successfully performed a few of the escapes, but grappling wasn't her strong suit. She was best at getting away.

It was many minutes into their little sparring session when the girl suddenly froze. When her brother showed worry, Tayla suddenly collapsed, going completely limp with a huff of breath leaving her lips.

-

As they embraced, Tavyn laughed. This sheer happiness was ... comforting. It was a feeling he'd always related to Ivory and her family. He hadn't felt this kind of joy until they'd taken him in. This, though ... this feeling.

Something deep within him stirred, and as he found himself easily holding Ivory close, Tavyn felt his breath hitch. With her forehead against his, the redhead closed his blue eyes and took in the woman's scent. She was sweet, like some kind of vanilla, yet with a huskier scent, like that of a kitten's fur. Throw in a touch of berry, and you had Ivory. It was a smell he'd come to adore, and would often find lingering on whatever she touched.

As his heartbeat quickened it's pace, he opened his eyes and looked upon the beautiful face before him. Surely, she was an angel. A deep, passionate feeling welled up within the half-breed, so strong he could hardly contain it. Tavyn wasn't even sure what it was, this sudden rush of emotion.

Slowly lowering Ivory to the ground, Tavyn's icy gaze locked onto hers. "Amazing," he agreed quietly, his forehead resting against hers. He wasn't talking about the fight. With a rather loud beat of his heart, Tavyn brushed his lips against Ivory's cheek. It was the familiar scent of vampire that drew Tavyn's attention away from Ivory.

He'd just promised Devan he'd be careful. Slowly opening his eyes, Tavyn reached up to brush some dark hair from Ivory's face. "Too bad we missed the beginning," he said, trying to force his attention elsewhere. It was proving increasingly difficult.

-

"All this about a sparring match?" Morrigan turned her red eyes to the approaching trio, and a smile slowly spread over her face. "I missed quite the fight."

She nodded to Pantheon, who nodded politely in return. The male accepted Yuki's handshake firmly, his gaze striking and honest. "I am lucky to be held in such high honor," he said in a slight German accent, smiling a bit. It was obvious that, despite how friendly he was, emotion wasn't something he showed readily. "Jaffair has very interesting friends, yes?"

Pantheon turned his dark eyes to the vampire beside him. "It is far too warm here for my liking, but I do what my friend requests." His attention moved to Morrigan, who stared steadily back. "She is difficult to train, and far too stubborn." It wasn't meant as an insult - he was speaking the truth. "It will take her many days before she can even shift slightly."

Morrigan raised an eyebrow, but said nothing. Instead, she rubbed at her glowing wrist. It was bothering her. Fiercely. In fact, now that she thought about it, the itch had begun to burn. Blinking the discomfort away, she sighed. "You're demanding. I don't like taking orders from strangers."

Before she could say anything else, she hissed between her teeth. The blackened skin from her fingertips to her elbow was bothering her with each pulse of her glowing veins. The lava-like substance was literally beginning to burn. The last time this had happened, the others took her to the springs.

Looking to Yuki, Morrigan tried to keep the desperation out of her eyes. "It was a pleasure meeting you," she said offhandedly, stepping away. Looking ready to bolt (she always did), the woman tossed dark hair from her eyes and turned away, trying to keep the discomfort from showing on her face. She was pale. Too pale. She was in pain.

When Yuki caught up to her, she was many feet away. "The springs," she pleaded, clenching her elemental fist. It had been a long time since this had happened, and Morrigan had hoped she'd had it under control. Apparently not.

Nori happily began to spar with his sister. His movements were precise and fast as he moved to fight with her. She would tell him what move to try next, and he would willingly comply since she wanted to learn more moves. In his mind the more she learned, the better protected she was. As she suddenly froze, the young male froze in mid strike, and his eyes filled with worry. "Tay?" He said worriedly and scurried over and caught her just in time before she hit the ground from collapsing. Looking over her worriedly, he put a hand on her forehead. "Tayla?! What's wrong?" He asked in shock.

Zaylin watched the twins in wonder as they sparred with eachother. Their movements were nearly spot on to the parents that had just fought. He then gasped as Tayla froze and collapsed. Hurrying over, the hybrid put his hand on her shoulder and looked at the twins worriedly. "What's happening?" He asked with worry, trying to stay calm but she was looking so pale.

Ivory smiled up at Tavyn and then grinned. As she watched the parents prepare to leave for the springs. The villagers were moving to decorate for the children festival which would have face painting and hunting. She was excited to spend the time with her friend. In this moment she felt Tayvn being something more, more then her childhood friend. He was her prefs for and her shield. Her world would never be complete without him, and it was surprising that she was just realizing this at the moment after being with him for all these years.

Yuki nodded to the German were wolf, reminded of his mother Caprey. It caused his chest to squeeze in pain at the thought of missing her. It still shocked him that it was nearly six years since his parents died in battle. Then his attention became I tuned with Morrigan, blocking out the others gathering to agree to leave for the springs now. Looking into his wife's eyes he could see her pain, and nearly feel it with how in tune he was with her. "Morrigan..." He said worriedly and booted after her, as she staggered he put his arms around her and looked down into her eyes. "Come on... The others are heading out soon... This can't wait." He said and scooped her into his arms. He remembered from last time how much it hurt her to move, so he sped off to go get her to those healing waters. Sighing a few minutes they arrived, streaking passed the guards and straight to a private pool. Not bothering with their clothes he waded in with her in his arms and half submerged them both.

((The adults are leaving so now the attack can happen as soon as you want. XD ))

Tayla was limp in Nori's arms, listening to their worry. It wasn't until Zaylin stepped closer that the girl reacted. With a sudden giggle, she reached up and "clawed" her brother's throat lightly with her fingertips. She let her blue eyes dance with laughter as she regained her usual calm demeanor, sobering.

"I thought I saw something," she said, looking apologetic. Tayla slowly calmed further, her glowing eyes seeking someone. When she found Xiba, she looked relieved. She could have sworn she'd seen him covered in blood....

Shaking her head, Tayla apologized. "I didn't mean to scare you," she said earnestly. "But it worked."

-

Tavyn gently linked his fingers with Ivory's, barely managing to pull his gaze away from her. He led her toward her parents as they prepared to leave. It was time to say goodbye - and to reassure Devan that everything would be alright.

The vampire sensed them coming. Lifting his gaze from the pack they were preparing, Devan smiled. "No trouble while we're gone," he said, reaching out for his daughter. He gently caught her shoulder and pulled her to him for an embrace. "We'll be back by morning." Or somewhere thereabouts. Some of them might be returning sooner.

Devan pressed a kiss to Ivory's head. "Be safe." The words were directed at both of them - and Devan's gaze lingered on Tavyn. Honestly, he wasn't happy with leaving the half-breed here. Not like this. His powers and abilities were starting to bloom, and that made him volatile should anything happen.
-

Morrigan gladly tucked her head against Yuki's chest as he lifted her. She hated being weak. She hated this. If only she had full control over the power!

The burn spread from her wrist and arm all the way up to her shoulder. She fought with herself to keep from squirming in his arms. Morrigan felt suddenly grateful that Yuki had been there. That, and that Yuki was hers. Breathing in his musky scent, the woman used his presence to ignore the discomfort. It almost worked.

When she felt the air change, Morrigan opened her eyes. They were close. She watched Yuki's face as he slowed down, stepping into the water. There was a hissing sound as the heat of Morrigan's arm met the water, and she sucked in a quick breath of surprise. She allowed herself to be carried for a while, soaking up the water until she knew that Yuki's arms would be getting tired. Slowly, Morrigan pushed away from him.

"Thank you," she said weakly, dipping her arm into the water once again. After many minutes, Morrigan seemed to be feeling better. "We got quite the head start." The humor of her words was dry, but still there. "I'll have to play the damsel more often."

-

((And once all the parents are gone and the celebration starts, I'll be throwing our little vampies in. >:3))

Harper toyed with a lock of his sister's hair, watching the distant figures of weres as they prepared for the upcoming celebration. He looked calm, but his impatience bubbled near the surface. It was obvious with the way his pale green eyes (an odd color for a vampire!) were locked on the camp.

The siblings sat together, and Harper was sure to keep Hannah from straying too far. He kept her in his lap, nearly obsessive with how close they were. Resting his chin on the girl's shoulder, Harper sighed in irritation. "They're taking so long," he mumbled, finally allowing his arms to wrap about the girl's waist. Burying his face in Hannah's hair, he growled. "I hate waiting."

Nori and Zaylin's eyes both widened in shock as Tayla won the scuffle by her little prank. Zaylin laughed loudly, grinning at her playfulness that bubbles from her. It was something rather rare and beautiful to behold. Nori on the other hand have a huff and tried to come up with a specific way to call her on her trick. "You cheated Tay." He grumbled annoyed that she had won. It was definitely a shot to his pride. Standing up he watched Tayla's gaze shoot over and knew something off was up. Tayla was a straight forward kind of person, she didn't trick, she didn't beat around the bush. She was just blunt and straight forwards. "I know you didn't mean too..." The black haired kit said and Zaylin nodded. "Though it did work very well." The African male commented with approval and admiration.

Ivory walked over to her parents with Tayvn and meeting her fathers gaze, she willingly embraced him. Hugging him tightly with her strong little hands she clung to his legs. When the moment came to let to, the young hybrid knew to step back and agree with her father's words. "Yes father." She breathed lightly after his warnings and then ran to her mother who scooped her up and shared an nose nuzzle. Purring she enjoyed her mother's embrace until say on the ground and one by one the parents transformed and headed out. It was a most magnificent sight.

Yuki smiled gently as Morrigan floated away and submerged into the water. It was something that caused him great relief because it ment she was feeling better to move. Grinnin at her playfully dry words he chuckled and pulled off his wet shirt, throwing it on the bank. "Oh, I like that idea." He said with a playful growl and moved u to nip her throat lightly. Kissing up her skin to her lips he hovered over those beautiful full lips before pulling away a bit more. "I like having this head start..." He breathed and then kissed her on the lips deeply, loving the beautiful sparking of sensation between them. He didn't know what he would do with our her.

Hannah's eyes remained closed as she enjoyed the feel of her twin brother's touch. She adored him in every way, and their bond only grew stronger and more intament. Never did the orange haired pureblood leave her brother's side. Two reasons was all she needed to stay glued to him. 1. He never let her go. 2. She loved him too much to not go a day without him. Finding his fingers messing with a strand of her hair made her scalp tingle in enjoyment. Though they were twins she viewed him as something closer to her. Purring softly she giggled and smiled widely. "Relax brother, soon they will be open for the attack..." She said and began to great such thin pins of metal that she began pinning down bugs and animals around to leave a mark. Adjusting the locker around her neck she knew he was fine.

Harper was very protective, something of the knights of old, or so their mother said. He also seemed to idolize their grandfather, like she idolized their mother. Their mother had brought their idea for this attack forward, and with their 'papa's' help they were sent into the African wilderness. They needed nothing to survive, their mother had trained them in the harshest of climates, so they were more then able to survive. Cuddling back into her brother's arms, the young female pureblood gave an inviting hiss and nipped her twin's cheek. "This time we will kill.... And we will get our servants in chains." She reminded her brother, knowing that keeping the goal out in front of his mind would keep him patient enough.

"I cheated," Tayla repeated, smiling shakily. Her playful demeanor had dulled a bit, as though reality was trying to press upon her once again. The girl shook pale hair from her face, trying to get the picture of Xiba's bloody form from her mind. Where had that come from? "Logically, it was the best move. I knew you would be startled, and your worry would allow me to win."

Her blue eyes flickered to Zaylin, and she offered an appreciative smile. Her hand linked with Nori's, and she stroked his knuckles to console him. He hated losing, as was common with most males. "We both know you would have won if it were a real sparring match, Nori."

-

Morrigan raised an eyebrow as Yuki threw his extra clothing to the shore. Her soon followed, though really it wasn't much of a difference. She typically wore form-fitting leggings, a bra-like cover, and a loose-fitting shirt that was low enough to reach her mid-belly.

By the time Yuki caught her, Morrigan had just come up from underwater. Her pulse shot up as she felt his soft expressions of care over her throat. "You always enjoy being first," she chuckled, nipping at his lip in response. Morrigan trailed her hands up Yuki's chest, tangling them in his hair as she attacked him with kisses. The space between them was swiftly removed, and she was sure to tease him by pulling away slightly just after her "attack."

-

Watching his sister's fingers as she toyed with small creatures that came too close, Harper sighed quietly into her hair. He knew he should be patient. They only needed to wait a little while longer before they could attack.

Harper breathed in deeply as though memorizing Hannah's scent. It wasn't like he didn't know it by heart already - it was more familiar than any other smell in his life, even his own mother's. His fingers toyed with a bit of Hannah's shirt as he kept his arms wrapped about her. "This time they have no protection," Harper agreed. Despite the two of them being so young, their knowledge and blood-lust was far beyond their years. When you looked at either of them, they seemed much older than the simple children they appeared to be. Such was the way of vampires.

When Hannah nipped his cheek, Harper's pale gaze shot away from the camp. He seemed to shift focus, which was exactly what Hannah had planned. She'd calmed him, and reminded him why they were waiting so patiently. The vampire nipped at Hannah's ear, tightening his hold on her as though she would try and run away. Harper moved on to nip her jawline, drawing a bead of blood.

"You always distract me," he breathed, blowing gently into her ear. A chuckle followed, and his gaze slowly moved back to the camp. He could see figures leaving, and the numbers of weres thinning out. Good. It was about time.

((I love how tayla's gotten moonbeam's visions! That's just awesome!))

Nori nodded hearing Tayla say she cheated. You bet your tail she did! Knowing her logic was sound and her reason's true, the twin boy gave a soft huff and then shook his head. "I know.... But still, I have got to start thinking more tricky too... Its a part of sparing." he said softly and nudged Tayla's body with his hip as he took her hand in his own. Her bubbliness had gone away, but he knew it was little random moments when it popped up. Though the thing he felt was her unease. She seemed to be distracted with something, which made him nudge her mind with question. Maybe she would tell him? She usually did sice he was her other half, but sometimes she did keep things to herself for awhile.

Yuki smiled widely as Morrigan reacted to his kisses. He always enjoyed pampering her when she would let him. She tended to act more of a tom boy then the girl she liked to be. It was just how she was raised, but when he could, he would crack through that tomboyness and tend to her girly tendencies that she hardly let show. As her hands moved up his chest he felt those hand tangle in his longer blonde hair. holding her tightly to his body he returned her passionate kisses and as she pulled away to tease him he gave a soft growl. He took that as a challenge and led her into the moments she loved the most, where everything was about her.

Hannah grinned as her brother pulled her body closer, pulling her attention from the small insects. Putting her arms over his she found a smug smile on her face. His attention on her always made her feel like the most important being in the world. A shiver of delight ran up her spine as he nipped her jaw and see blood. The head was small since their healing was almost instantaneous, but it still left a small treat for his taste buds. It left a want in her body as he blew in her ear, and turning in his arms so she was facing him, she gave a sky smile and hugged close, pressing her body to his. There was never a moment they were apart, which made their grandfather a bit surprised. Their mother had speedster herself from all her siblings, to show how much more powerful she was, but had taught her twins to never leave eachother's side, truely it was a bond that she had wanted them to form, and it worked. They were two sides of the same coin, and so in tune with eachother that with every year each little flaw disappeared. "Let's go now... They are just far enough away... And remember, the older boy that is a hunter is first priority. He is the biggest threat... And the little black hybrid boy. His powers are slightly usable." she said and then pulled her twin to his feet and grinned in a way that would make a person's skin crawl.

((hahaha, a tribute to the family line! :) Besides, it seems to be a healer thing.))

Tayla stayed silent both physically and mentally for a while. It wasn't until she the parents had gone when she finally gave in to her brother's nudging questions. "I saw Xiba," she said slowly, "hurt. Very badly." Her blue eyes flickered with sympathy. "Too badly, Nori." She looked back to Xiba. The redhead was talking with his little sister, Bo.

She shook her head. "It was nothing. Probably nothing." Though, logically, it was a manifestation of her powers. Logically, she was inheriting a piece of her family line....

Tayla rubbed her arm, looking uncomfortable. Without a word, she turned and headed for the dining area. She knew there would be water there, and she was suddenly very thirsty. Her mouth was so dry, it could have been a desert.

-

((well ... the adults are off. ^__^" And now we're to focus on the children....))

Harper growled under his breath as Hannah turned on him. His pulse would have risen, if he'd had one. Since they were so young, they didn't quite have their adult forms yet. Still, the action was nearly as potent.

The male's green eyes filled with desire the moment Hannah mentioned the fight. He'd loved challenges growing up. This was just like the others, but with more risk and more to gain. "We take the oldest first," he whispered, agreeing whole-heartedly. The vampire allowed his twin to pull him to his feet, returning her grin with one of his own. "We'll see what they can do."

A flicker of movement was the only sign of their passing as they raced toward the camp.

-

Xiba scuffed his sister's hair, grinning. "You should put them inside so they don't wilt," he said, fingering one of the wreaths that Bo had made. "They're beautiful, Bo."

The girl smiled, her red hair gleaming in the fading sun just as her green eyes did. She looked just like her brother in so many ways. With a nod, she headed inside.

Xiba turned his attention to Tavyn and Ivory as he neared the dining area. Tavyn was drinking water, and the two of them were talking. "The celebration will begin shortly," he announced, as he was the leader of the celebration this time. It had been agreed: This section of the camp was youth only until the parents returned. There would be no outside help to get the children's celebration under way.

Tavyn smiled a bit, nodding. He still felt pinpricks of heat over his skin whenever Xiba was close to Ivory. He related them to jealousy. Still, it wasn't what he wanted to feel toward him. They were closer to the same age, Xiba being only a couple years older than he. They should be friends, not enemies.
Tavyn stood and headed over to get more water, knowing that the action would leave Xiba and Ivory alone. He couldn't stand being around Xiba so often.

"Is he alright?" Xiba asked, watching Tavyn go with a worried expression. He didn't catch the flicker of movement that passed a few feet away. It wasn't what he was looking for.

Nori watched as their parents left to go to the fabled springs. When they were out of sight he waited paitently, knowing his sister would eventually tell him no or explain. When he was just about to ice up the where's ears perked up and he listened her to explination. Shocked at her words, he glanced over to Xiba. He was like the older brother none of them ever had. He was someone Nori seriously admired. He was super cool, and strong too. Who couldn't like the funny fellow? Following his sister to keep close as a bad feeling clenched at his gut. Though he gave Zaylin a reassuring smile which satisfied the young boy to go and trot over past the tent to speak to one of he village boys decorating to offer help. Getting a drink for Tayla he handed it to her and made her sit, she was extremely stubborn, much like moonbeam had been in her younger years. But like Fang to Moonbeam, Nori could get his sister to see reason, even if she saw it reluctantly. "It will be alright... You'll see Tay." He said reassuringly.

Ivory was sitting in the meal tent with Tayvn, taking a break from the hot midafternoon sun coming upon them. Even if she was a hybrid, it still hurt her skin when she got burned so easily from the sun exposure. The water was very refreshing and cooled down nice as it went down the girl's throat. Seeing Xiba approaching, she could feel Tayvn get tense. Looking at him worried, she was about to speak when he got up and left. Her face convex her worry as she watched him leave. He really was feeling the affects of his powers, and it was really worryng her. Looking up at Xiba, the young girl smiled softly and shook her head. "His powers are coming I think.... He gets protective, about the people he holds close.... Like his dad... When their blood spikes it causes weird behavior." The hybrid explained. Scanning the area, she didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, before smiling back up at Xiba. Little did she know, it would be the last time she ever saw him in one piece.

Hannah smirked as her body suddenly modded into metal, her body seeming fluid, but solid at the same time. Her clothes had been disguarded before they left, considering all they did was hinder her movement and get ripped while she fought. Seeing their target, a pool of metal formed in her hand and suddenly solidified into a spear. With an amazingly accurate throw, the weapon knocked the young hunter off his feet and pinned him through the shoulder to the opposite tent's post. In a flicker of movement another spear was launched, and another. One going through the leg, the other through his side. They were purposely aimed not to instantly kill, but to maim, and make him suffer. She knew her brother wanted to finish him so she stopped in the middle of everything, standing and grinning widely. "Come out and play!" She taunted and shot out needles everywhere, they were ready to strike.

Her glowing eyes landed on Zaylin as he got up from the needle attack. Hissing, she watched him begin to glow and knew she had to stop him. But she could not kill, he was to be a servant, but that didn't mean she couldn't injure. Rushing forwards a tree suddenly grew up infront of her, but her hand sliced right through it. Not giving him time to act she sliced his chest and then grabbed him by the throat, and shook him to make him suffocate faster. When he went limp she dropped him, waiting for her brother to call the shots. She was ready to destroy.

Xiba nodded, watching Tavyn. "I see," he said quietly. The redhead gave Ivory a slight smile. "He'll find his center. Once he gets the hang of it, he'll be fine." His green eyes flit over the area as he caught a strange scent. It was so brief, he thought he'd imagined it. "He's lucky he's got a friend like you, Ivory. You'll keep him on the right path."

His chuckle was cut short as a silvery figure flickered into the clearing just outside the tent. Xiba frowned, opening his mouth to speak - and he let out a cry as pain seared through him, knocking him off of his feet. The were felt the spear solidly strike the post behind him, pinning him so he was an easy target. Xiba's cries resounded as two more spears followed, all but crippling him in the upcoming attack.

A shaking hand reached up, and he tried to pull the spear free so he could do something. Xiba's voice was rough with pain as he cried out to his friend. "Ivory, run!" She couldn't die here. Not here!

-

Harper's laugh joined Hannah's taunt, his own telekinetic abilities keeping him safe from the blast of metal that flew from his twin. They moved around him, seeming to gain speed as they passed his "shield." Green eyes flickered over their first target, Xiba, whom his sister had so generously pinned for him. Hannah's spears never missed.

The vampire grinned and watched his sister take Zaylin down swiftly. With that, he knew it was time to move. He could see one of the visitors trying to help Xiba - and that was not part of the game!

-

Tavyn's blue eyes widened, and a deadly calm settled over him. Everything seemed to be moving in slow motion. The silver girl, the shards of metal ... he could see it all happening with a strange kind of ease.

Blood. The scent of blood burned his nose. Xiba was pinned, and two vampires flickered this way and that. They were deadly, and their smell was all too sweet. It was like poison - tempting, but horrific. Tavyn's blue eyes locked on Xiba. He was yelling for Ivory to go.

Tavyn was at his friend's side within a second, grabbing her arm. "The huts," he murmured, hoping the vampires were too distracted to hear him. Apparently, they were.

The male vampire suddenly turned his attention to Xiba. His words were altogether too clear as he spoke. "I've always wondered how easy it was to crush a mongrel's heart." Harper stepped closer to Xiba, who stopped pulling at the spear. Instead, his face went white with pain. As though something unseen was happening, the youth choked on his breath. Harper's eyes darkened. "I like it when they scream."

Xiba let out a muted cry, his hands clutching at his chest. Convulsing, he choked again. This time, his coughing brought blood to his lips. An audible crack made Xiba yelp in pain. He was being crushed - from the inside.

Harper's telekinetic abilities seemed to slither through the were, making it difficult to breathe. Xiba's desperate cry broke something in Tavyn. The half-breed stiffened, his hand still on Ivory. His touch became hot - too hot. It scalded Ivory's delicate skin. Tavyn moved with incredible speed, faster than he'd ever moved before. It caught the vampire by surprise.

There was a loud sound as the two of them collided, Tavyn knocking Harper to the ground. There was a scream as a white-hot hand grasped the side of Harper's face, burning a black print instantly. A surge of energy knocked Tavyn into the air, sending him flying a good twenty feet before colliding with one of the huts.

Harper's snarl was feral as his glowing eyes locked on Tavyn. Forget Xiba, he'd found a new target. Rage clouded his thoughts as the vampire lifted a hand, seeming to pick something up. A great weight was thrown one with arm - and the hut that Tavyn had rammed into suddenly collapsed on top of him, burying him in stone and suffocating dust.

The vampire youth spun, his gaze locking on Ivory. Her scent. He could pick up on it so easily, that tempting smell mixed so keenly with were blood. "You'll be one of the favorites," Harper hissed, falling into a crouch. Harper lunged forward, becoming a mere flicker of movement as he flew across the distance between them. Claws lashed with enough force behind them to knock Ivory off of her feet, tearing into the fabric along her stomach and side. "You'll be begging for death when we're through with you!"

Ivory screamed in shock as Xiba was pinned, her eyes locked on the horror as he was stabbed over and over. Tears rushed down her pale face, and she gave another terror filled scream as she literally saw his chest cave in. It was then Tayvn moved to action, grabbing her and nearly dragging her until she got her legs moving again. Running along side the redhead the hybrid felt deep pain and fear as they moved. But suddenly she yelped as his hand burned her's. snatching it away she watched as he ran for the male vampire, but screamed as he too was seemingly killed under the hut or wood and stone. His blood thirsty eyes then landed on her, and she felt chilled to the bones by his words. Hissing loudly as he knocked her down she struggled and suddenly landed a very powerful punch with anger driving it, sending him off of her. Hissing louder, her red eyes began to grow lighter, instead of darker like her fathers, turning from red, to an intensely bright electric blue.

Hannah growled as she spotted the villagers running. More spears were thrown, and she then spotted those twins they were after. Launching at them, Nori pushed Tayla towards the huts, having told her in their minds to save Tayvn. If they could get him out, his blooming powers would help them. Grappling with the vampire he growled and for the lifestyle time it seemed they were matched until he was thrown threw some wood posts. He got up and went at her again, only landing a few blows before practically being knocked out again.

Hissing Hannah laughed seeing Nori down for the count. She heard whimpers, and ripped a tent off the ground and threw it aside. The young ones scattered, but she kicked one in the side, the pretty Bo, who Nori had seen earlier. Eyes snapping open when he heard the cry of pain, Nori went into his anger mode. His body took on the form of metal and he pounced on the pureblood. He ripped into her as fire surrounded him and the ground shook. His brown eyes had turned a deep red, and flashed with silver shards.

Hannah threw Nori off again, and suddenly, one of the villagers hit the gongs, to call to the parents. Throwing a spear, she ended each of their lives, and drank from a few. Nori was struggling to get up, having been thrown down to make a creator infront of Bo. Shaking in pain and bleeding quite a bit, the young warrior knew he couldn't quit. Seeing him Hannah chuckled and kicked him hard in the stomach, making him spit out blood. "Stay down." She hissed and moved to face her brother.

Ivory suddenly snarrled at Harper, her nails extending and her body morfing. Unlike the other children, she had a hybrid were form, that was even different from Tayvn's father's. Markous had one humanoid form to shift to, but Ivory shifted into a were hybrid with wings spikes scales fur and other odd things. But suddenly she grew two more feet, and took on a deep purple grey skin tone, her fangs were each tooth, and her canines were extremely long. Her nails grew longer and her tail grew spikes and her ears grew in size. Her essentials were covered in scales of black and her clothes ripped to shreds as her eyes glowed with hate red."I will make you pay!!" She snarrled and launched as Harper, her transformation taking him off guard and ripped into him. When thrown off and blocked my the unseen force, her eyes turned silver. Suddenly pain erupted within the twin purebloods, proving that the family curse had been passed down to another generation.

Tayla's blue eyes were wide as she moved, but the mental messages from her brother were clear: They needed to get Tavyn on his feet. If it was still alive. Shaking, the girl moved away from her brother. She had to ignore his cries of pain as she dug through rubble, trying to find a sign that Tavyn was still alive.

"Tavyn!" she cried desperately, digging away at stones and cascading dirt. She could see his hand now. He was there. "Wake up!"

By the time she got him partially revealed, Tavyn was coughing and smeared with dust that clung to bloody patches. Tayla nearly collapsed in relief when she saw his blue eyes, so much like her own, full of stubborn fire. "I'm fine," he said hoarsely, pushing her hands away. He was on his feet moments later. He didn't notice how his touch had burned Tayla.

Then he heard it. Something unusual and altogether frightening resounded through the camp. The gongs started ringing, but it was that one voice, changed by transformation, that he heard above everything else. Ivory. Tavyn surged forward, adrenaline bringing him back to the battle.

Tavyn took advantage of the fact that Hannah was both in pain and off guard. Curse or no curse, these two needed to die. His strikes burned, and as he lashed out repeatedly at the female, bits of flame drifted from his claws. His pale features were full of hatred and determination - he would harm this one. He would kill her, if he could.

Harper was stunned by Ivory's transformation. Shocked, he took a step back, hesitating. What the heck was happening to this one? Before he could recover, the newly changed creature launched herself at him, taking him completely off guard. He snarled, reacting with his own strikes and counters. Her speed ...!

A burst of kinetic energy knocked Ivory away, and Harper fell into a crouch once again. His feral his melted into a cry of pain as bright agony suddenly burst behind his eyes. The vampire grit his teeth, his head in his hands. Stunned, he backed away, putting more distance between his opponent and himself.

((Should one/both of the vampies get captured and separated? Should they take one of the weres? Should the get away? O__O SO INTENSE.))

Bo watched in horror as the tent was torn away. All she could think of were the children younger than her as the vampiress hissed, sending fear into the lot of them. There were six others. Bo's green eyes were wide with fear as she managed to push them away, putting herself between Hannah and the others.

Her bravery got her hurt. The force behind Hannah's kick knocked the breath out of Bo, and she whimpered as she curled up at Hannah's feet. The ground began to shake, and Bo squeezed her eyes closed. She didn't know what was happening. She didn't want to see anything.

When she heard Hannah's hiss of frustration, Bo DID look. Nori flew at the vampire, fighting with her. It wasn't until the fight was over when Bo felt tears prickling her eyes. She sobbed quietly as she dragged herself to the crater, witnessing the blood and weakness that Nori was experiencing. Staying at the crater's edge, Bo cried out when Nori was kicked to the ground once more.

"Stop!" she shouted, her tears falling with more frequency. The scent of blood was everywhere. She could see nothing but pain and destruction, and feel nothing but fear and misery. Why was this happening?!
