No I do not. Shaking his head minutely, Kei chuckled. "Do you have a seven?" Seeing her observation kicking in, the male felt his tail twitch in amusement. She was certainly keeping a close eye on him - not that he wasn't returning the favor. Watching her eyes was like . . . watching the stars. Shining, beautiful, interesting. . . .
Seemingly dazed for a moment, Kei's maroon eyes locked on Toru. When she replied, he almost didn't react.

With a chuckle, Devan tossed a few locks of hair out of his face. "You know him as well as I do," he whispered, fixing a few locks of Kiyomi's hair as well. The pale strands were shining, even in the dim lighting of the room. What really made him grin was when she apologized - and fixed his shirt. "I suppose I can forgive that," he said, looking amused. "This time." With a wink, he kissed her forehead. This was how it should be.
The vampire faught the urge to nip her cheek, as he'd done oftenly to Moonbeam. It was too . . . much. A kiss was fine. More than that . . . she was too young. It wasn't right. "Now?" he asked, kissing her one last time. His hands moved over her to straighten out her hair and make sure she looked presentable, but he knew that his scent would be covering her thickly.

Senri nodded slowly. "Alright." The thought of the group going to the mall was a good idea . . . no matter how much he disliked Devan being there. "I can trust her, but Devan will need . . . something else." His gaze flashed dangerously. "If he hurts her. . . ." He didn't bother completing the sentence.
The werewolf moved to wrap an arm about Moonbeam, kissing her temple. "I will try. For Kiyomi's sake, I will try."

Toru muttered under her breath when he didn't have her queen and then shook her head. Her two sevens where on the table. She then looked up at him and smiled widely, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Well, do you have a five?" she asked lightly. She then decided to try one of her cookies and niblled on it lightly and smiled. She really did like these cookies, and it was one of the best batches she had ever made. That was good, she wanted Kei to have the best.

Kiyomi smiled and then giggled softly as Devan straightened out her hair. It reminded her of being younge and how Devan would always straighten her up a bit after she had been playing outside all day. She then nodded and sighed. "Infortunately." she said and hoped and prayed that maybe her mother had talked a shred of compassion into her father. THough it would be a mircal... But her mother was the mircial worker. She then blushed hearing him and giggled as he winked at her. "Fine next time I wont fix it." she said smartly and stucked her tongue out at him playfully for a second. She then smiled softly and kissed him back. She loved the feeling of his lips. But the kiss was soft and quick, knowing they shouldn't stall anymore. As if her father wouldn't be angry enough with Devan's scent all over her, but she was already sharing five amazing kisses with Devan. This had to be the best day ever. hopefuly it would keep going that way. She then stood fixing her school skirt and then took Devan's hand and looked up at him. She walked with him towards her parent's bedroom and biting her lip she knocked. SHe tok in an even breath knowing this could go okay, or terribly wrong.
"thank you honey... That's all I ask..." she whispered and kissed him getnly. Then her ears perked up hearing her daughter's footsteps and Devan's. "well... Theyre here.." she said softly and got up. She walked to the door and smiled opening it. She had reasurenece in her eyes and then nodded to Devan. "Come on in." she said, having expected this the whole time. The visions never lied.

Wrinkling his nose, Kei passed over his card. The youth started on the next round as he watched Toru eat a cookie. They honestly were the best cookies ever - and he'd had quite a few cookies in his lifetime. More than his fair share, to be certain. Kei's maroon eyes lit with enjoyment, his tail flicking about calmly; this game wasn't the most interesting game ever . . . but it gave him a sense of particular happiness to know that he was with this girl. She was so bright and soft-spoken, it made him happy just to think about her. Perhaps this is what Kiyomi felt whenever she thought of Devan.
Sipping at his punch, the were perked his ears. They were still running even through the round, each of them had roughly four pairs up front. I don't care how long this takes. He loved being around Toru . . . even though he ran more often than not. Honestly, he was never good with words or girls. And with Toru, he needed to talk . . . which meant he had to up his courage for both at the same time.
Glancing over to the girl once again, Kei felt a light blush dust his features. "Thank you for staying," he said, knowing that she easily could have gone home. He was especially pleased to know that she'd stayed . . . just for him. It his pale features light up with a small smile once again.

"Next time don't," the vampire laughed, shaking his head. He straightened his own shirt in a comfortable manner before feeling Kiyomi take his hand. Devan growled quietly, leaning over to peck her cheek. Before they'd left the room, he was sure to fix the last of her long hair. "Let's hope things have changed."
The walk there was tense . . . Devan tried to keep in mind that Senri indeed had changed, though not by much. By allowing Devan to stay with the pack, even within the house somewhere, the male had shown that he was trying. Even if it wasn't by much, Senri was trying. Red eyes moving to the door as they approached, Devan felt his breathing slow to a stop. Anticipation filled the air, and upon looking over Kiyomi the vampire couldn't help but reach up and give a lock of her hair a tug. She looked ready to pass out if she didn't start breathing. "Relax," he whispered, giving her hand a squeeze. "Your mother is an amazing woman. I'm sure she's talked some sense into him." If she can convince a vampire elder to join with were's, she can speak to her husband about their daughter's love.
When the door was finally opened, Devan was the one to lead Kiyomi inside. Bowing his head in respect, he took a deep breath. "Good afternoon."

Senri sat up, narrowing his eyes for a moment. Moonbeam had obviously seen Devan and Kiyomi approach, even if it hadn't happened yet. Casting a playful glare to his wife, the werewolf slowly felt his muscles knot. Just being in the same room with Devan felt . . . odd. It wasn't that they were enemies; they could still speak to one another in a civil manner. It was when Kiyomi came into the picture when Senri began to detest the vampire once again. The connection between his daughter and his old master was downright sickening to him.
Clamping down on his thoughts (for he knew Kiyomi could pick up on them), Senri stood. "Devan," he nodded in greeting. Moving to place a hand on his daughter's arm, the tall male forced back a growl. The sickeningly sweet scent of vampire was all over her. "I know why you're here."

Devan didn't release Kiyomi's hand - which was a first. He usually backed off of Kiyomi when Senri was around. This time, though, he stood his ground. "I would be surprised if you didn't know."
Senri snorted lightly, fingering the sleeve of Kiyomi's uniform. "You love her."
A silence filled the room. Devan hadn't quite said that to anyone but Kiyomi herself yet. The vampire took a slow step toward the young woman, slipping behind her. Meeting Senri's gaze firmly, he nodded. "I do." Linking his hands with Kiyomi's, Devan took comfort in the fact that Moonbeam was still in the room. It would help keep the tension down to know that two women were so close.

Senri's single eye flashed for a moment, and he seemed to stiffen. I already knew that. His hand moved from Kiyomi's sleeve to her cheek, and he met the girl's gaze. "And you love him." It wasn't a question, but a statement. "I trust you," he whispered, sounding as though it were difficult to say as much. "I may not be the most . . . allowing father, but understand that it is for your own safety. I don't want to see you hurt." Stroking Kiyomi's cheek, Senri finally leaned over to nuzzle the side of her head. "I know it hurts you for me to keep you from him. Please be careful."

Devan's eyes widened for a moment. Senri had just given them permission to . . . well, love one another. The vampire met the other male's gaze, and the look they shared passed everything that was necessary. I won't hurt her. Senri's threatening stare made the vampire nod slightly. An agreement passed between them in silence. If I hurt Kiyomi, you can tear me to pieces. In fact, I would ask you to.

Toru smiled in tryumph and then set her pair down She then hummed and tapped her finger to her temple as she thought to herself. She was so happy she had stayed. She usually fled by this time. She then looked up hearing his words. SHe then got lost in his eyes, her heart speeding up. She couldn't believe he could have such deep and exotic eyes. Compared to half the other weres who had either yellow or green eyes, his eyes were beautiful rubies to her. ANd whenever she saw them she always wondered if there was something behind them that she didn't see. She then blinked snapping out of it and then smiled. "Its nothing... I am having lots of fun... Its better then studying at home. Much much better." she siad lightly and gave a small giggle as she nawed on the cookie a bit more.

Kiyomi looked up at Devan and nodded taking another deep breath. He ws right. Her mother hopefully had softened her father. After all she had softened Naylin. She then squeezed Devan's hand back and walked in after him. As she saw her father and detected a bit of his thoughts her ears on her head flattened. Her father wasn't the best at hiding his thoughts from her. She then watched as her father approached as Devan greeted him. She seemed to keep her breathing so soft that all she heard was her pounding heart in her ears. She tried her hardest to keep her fear from building in her eyes as Her father held her uniform sleeve and Devan stood his ground. Thank god for her mother still here or she would've broken under the pressure and probably cried knowing the looks from her father. She then felt her father's worn adn strong hand on her cheek and she met his eyes. "I understand daddy...." she whispered downheartedly but then looked up at him surprised tears of joy springing in her eyes. "really?!?! Oh daddy! Thank you!" she squeeled and threw her arms around him in a tight hug. She kissed his cheek and then she hugged Devan tightly and burried her face against his chest. "Thank the gods..." she breathed and Moonbeam smiled proudly and took Senri's hand. "Now come on you two, we need to find Kei... I want to give another surprise before Toru goes home." she said and Kiyomi looked up and nodded quickly. After news like this, she would do anything. "Kei's in the kitchen." she said and taking Devan's hand she walked with him following her mother and her mother knocked on the counter to get the two love birds' attention.

You're having that much fun with me? Doing this? A smile tugged at Kei's lips, and he set another pair on the table as he drew a card. "You should . . . stay . . . more often." Clearing his throat, the youth focused on his hand once again. Of course, at that moment, a noise drew his attention. Starting, he looked toward the counter. "Mum," he smiled in relief, glad to know that someone else was now in the room.

Feeling the kiss on his cheek, Senri chuckled. "I promised Markous I would take over his patrol tonight. He wanted time to work with Lana on their plans." The two were, as Moonbeam predicted, going to add on to the house with their own home. The pack would live together under the same roof - for the most part. The werewolf moved to Moonbeam's side to embrace her tightly before letting the group leave the room. Don't be foolish. Please.

Devan kept his hand within Kiyomi's, allowing her to drag him about in excitement. It was alright for now - she would calm down soon. The vampire cast a thankful look in Senri's direction as he was tugged out of the room. I never know what to expect from you, Senri. Never have. They were all in the kitchen a few moments later, and Devan couldn't help but step behind Kiyomi. Now that he had been given reign to show his affection, the vampire slipped his arms around the girl to hold her against him. I can definitely get used to this. He had been yearning for this.
Glancing to Moonbeam, Devan couldn't help but chuckle. Certainly she'd seen this coming. She probably saw it many years prior. With a smile on his face, the vampire rested his chin on top of Kiyomi's head happily. Love you.

Toru was about to answer when she heard Moonbeam and looked up. She blushed softly and she sighed inwardly, glad to have so many more people here. The tenseness from Kei seemed to fade as his twin entered the room. As always. She then stood slowly as she saw the twinkle in Moonbeam's eyes knowing something was up. She then saw Kiyomi and Devan and nearly squeed. She could tell the moment she met Kiyomi that she had been crushing on him and seeing them together she couldn't help but be happy for them. "You two are so cute!" she squeeked and then covered her mouth and blushed brightly. ooopss..... Kiyomi leaned back against Devan happily, knowing she could get used to this. Surprised at Toru she smiled and then looked up at Devan with her eyes twinkling and then back at Toru. "Thanks Toru." she said and then Moonbeam looked at them all. She produced two credit cards from her pocket and both twins' eyes seemed to grow huge. "I put eight hundred dollars on these each... Tommorrow I talked to your teachers and they agreed to let you two get by without having to go to schoo.... As well as you Toru." she said and then handed the cards to both the twins. "I'm giving you two and Toru and Devan a fun day in the city mall to enjoy yourselves. Sense I've been behind on getting you two new clothes you two should go get your own, and treat yourselves to a bit of fun. You've both deserved it." she said and Kiyomi hugged her mother tightly. "Thank you sooo much mom!"

For a moment, Kei could look at nothing but his twin. Staring at Devan, his unblinking gaze widened. No way. He sat still for many moments. Hearing about their new surprise, Kei started out of his shock. "Thank you, Mum!" In a movement faster than a normal were, the youth darted out of his chair to join Kiyomi in the hugging of Moonbeam. She always knows how to brighten the moment. Purring rather loudly, the shifter let his ears flatten as he rubbed his head against both his mother and his sister.

With a smile, Devan let Kiyomi go. She was still so young . . . it showed through in random moments. She was just turning 17 - she was still a child. Listening to the pack's purrs and mews of happiness, the vampire cast a glance over to Toru. Nodding in greeting, he leaned against the nearest doorframe. Her words made him chuckle. They were cute together . . . that wasn't necessarily the first thing he expected to hear.
The mall, huh? It had been a while since he'd been to the mall, honestly. He didn't go into large public places unless it was necessary - which was a rare occasion.

Moonbeam smiled at her two angels as they nuzzled her and purred happily. She returned the love and kissed both of their heads. Once they dismangled she handed them both their cards. "Now, you must be careful. Its best to stay together. All four of you. And there are some people who will try to get your money but son't let them have anything and keep your cards close at all times." she said sternly adn they nodded at the same time. Kiyomi's mind then thought a bit miscieviously as she thought about maybe trying on some stuff from hot topic... Oh she might get a few new looks from Devan, and she was hoping they would be good ones. Like she looked amazing. She then returned to Devan's arms an kissed his chin happily knowing Kei was shocked as she was that they could be together. "I'll explain later.... She then looked at Devan and smiled at him. "I need a dress for the next dance too... This is good timing.." she whispered maybe dropping him a hint as she smiled up at him. Toru looked surprised and blushed. "Thank you so much Moonbeam. I'm honored to be able to come." she said and Moonbeam giggled. "Don'tbe honored Toru. Just go have fun."

Accepting his gift, Kei grinned. He'd have to get some clothes that didn't have anything to relate to school. And, of course, something a bit nicer for the dance. Glancing to Toru, his blush suddenly returned with a vengance. Dance: a word that struck fear into the hearts of many, and hit the chord of romance for others. Upon seeing both Devan and Kiyomi together, Kei laughed. He knew who his sister was going to be going with.
Looking back to Toru as she thanked Moonbeam, Kei's maroon eyes seemed to sparkle with mischief. Now that he knew for certain that his twin was going, there was no way that he was going to let her go without him. "What time should we be back?" he asked, white tail flicking in excitement. As though going shopping wasn't exciting enough, now Toru was coming with them as well. It made the entire trip far more enjoyable. Eager to leave and get started, the youth bumped against his sister (who had returned to Devan) playfully.
You'd better explain later. I want to hear all about it, girly!

Devan chuckled, accepting Kiyomi into his arms once again. "Then I suppose we'll help you look for one," the vampire remarked. He saw the sparkle in her eyes, the askance that didn't quite reach her lips. Glancing to Moonbeam, Devan frowned slightly. She wants to go to this dance . . . with . . . Devan almost laughed then. Shaking his head, he pushed the thought into a deeper part of his mind. We'll talk about it later. Sure, he looked to be roughly twenty years old . . . younger, if he tried . . . but that didn't make him high school dance material. With a smile, Devan shook his head. He'd deal with that when the time came. In the mean time . . . Kiyomi, Kei, and Toru needed something to wear. Thank goodness none of them were in need of money.
"I'm driving," Devan stated as he slowly started toward the door. "Grab your things, cubs. You have five minutes before I lock the car door." It was still daytime - though the sun would be setting within a few hours. The vampire snagged a hooded coat from the closet, slipping it on. The cowl covered his eyes, keeping any light from reaching his pale skin. He'd have to drive like that . . . not that it looked normal, but hey! He would deal with it.

Moonbeam looked at them and then at the clock. "nine tommorrow night, no later." she said firmly and thenwaved to them before going to join Senri on the rounds, to give him comfort about his babies leaving the nest. Kiyomi grinned and then looked at Toru. "Come on Toru, I've got clothes you can borrow!" she said and then winked at Kei deviously. "Okay!" Toru squeeked. Before she knew what was happening Kiyomi had her stripped and in a dress faster then she could protest. Kiyomi got dressed herself in a dress too and then grabbing a few things she put it in Toru's small backpack and dragged her out the door. "Shot gun!" she shouted at Kei and stuck out her tongue. Toru was wearing a modest sun dress that was a soft pink and had a white sash around her stomach, and Kiyomi was wearing a more form fitting dress and shorts underneath as well as keeping her school stockings on. She then hurried up to her brother and fixed his button up shirt and unbuttoned two buttons. "Youll thank me later." she said with a wink and got into shot gun. She was so scycked! She could finally be a regular teenage girl, show off her more gracious curves then her mother's and have her love of her life with her the whole time. BEST DAY EVER!

While Devan waited in the car (the windows were shaded well), the vampire listened to the activity going on in the house. From where he was, he couldn't hear everything - but it was obvious that they were all excited. Tapping the steering wheel to follow the beat of the bass-heavy music, Devan smiled. This is going to be interesting. His red eyes locked on Kiyomi the instant the door opened. Her dress fit her perfectly, showing off just enough without being too . . . showy. Lifting an eyebrow, he smiled. Shopping is going to be . . . fun.
Sensitive hearing picking up on Kiyomi's territorial cry for the front seat, Devan laughed and clicked the locks. "Come on in, you three. I'm about to leave you all behind." Revving the engine, the dark-haired male laughed. "Let's go."

While the girls were changing, Kei merely threw on a different pair of pants. Still wearing his white button-up shirt, the shifter headed out to the car. Just before he could get there, he heard Kiyomi calling shotgun - which made him respond in like kind. Wrinkling his nose at the girl, he rolled his eyes. I wanted to sit in the back anyway.

Before he could do anything, Kiyomi moved to mess with his shirt. "Necessary?" he asked with a blush, wrinkling his nose. Right. Thank you later. Sure. He laughed mentally, but headed toward the car anyway. With a smile at Toru (on who his gaze locked), Kei opened her door for her. "Ladies first."
After letting her get situated, Kei headed to his side directly behind his twin. Prodding her arm from behind, Kei laughed. "Thank goodness we don't need sleep, right?" Were's didn't need sleep every night . . . though it was certainly appreciated. Vampires didn't sleep at all. What were they going to do all night? Who knew. As the car engine revved once again, Kei leaned back and belted himself in.

Kiyomi smiled as she got into the car and put on her seat buckle. She smiled at Devan widely and then looked back at Toru. She got in nearly giving Kei a good look up her dress and laughed inwardly. Toru was just so adorable! She then heard them both click their seatbelts on and nodded to Devan. She then hummed to the song on the radio. "I heard their's an amazing store for dresses in the mall... Should we go there first? Or do you guys have any other idea?" she asked lightly. "Well.... Everyone talks about hot topic.... They say they have lolitas... I've always wanted try one on." Toru said softly as she blushed and looked at Kei quickly before looking at her hands in her lap again. "Sounds like a plan." Kiyomi said and then let her brother see the memory of her father accepting Devan and her. She knew he wouldn't stop pestering her is she didn't.

"Dress shopping doesn't sound too horrible." Kei rolled his eyes, but gave Toru a small smile. He didn't really dislike it. In fact, he didn't mind it at all. Devan didn't appear too bothered either - he probably knew more about dresses than the rest of the group put together. As a long-lived vampire, he was bound to have insight into things that the "younger generations" didn't.

As they drove, Kei's attention flit between his sister (who he poked at for small details about her and Devan's relationship) and Toru (who he smiled and blushed at). With a purr, Kei finally settled back into his seat to listen to the others discuss their plans. Sure, he was a spit-fire, but he needed direction first.

Toru smiled widely blushing and nodded to Kei, no it sounded quite fun. But she had a feeling Kiyomi had something up her sleeve for her. Though she wasn't sure if it was a good or bad thing at the moment.

When they arrived, Devan was sure to park in the multi-layered parking garage so he wouldn't have to worry about the sunlight. They merely walked through shadow until they entered the mall itself. While the vampire linked arms with Kiyomi, his slight smile widened. "There are three different places to look. I would suggest starting in Bella." While not the entire title of the store, "Bella" was certainly easier than whatever the original title was. Giving the group a glance, the eldest directed them in the right direction. "They are the most agreeable with their prices, and tend to have rather good choices from different styles of clothing." Of course, he knew that the girls had other stores in mind . . . but what fun would it be if they found their dresses too quickly?

Kei had been lingering close to Toru ever since they left the car. Even as they walked through the mall, he seemed to get closer to her. Glancing at her more than once every so often, the youth would blush and continue walking, occasionally drifting away just a bit. He never walked off, but he certainly was struggling with something.
Hearing Devan's words, Kei's white ears perked. (Or . . . should they be wearing hats or something? x3) Staying silent, he kept himself near Toru once again.

Kiyomi smiled happily as she linked arms with Devan. She leaned against him a little as she did and then bit her lip. This place was huge! Nothing compared to their mall at home with only like 15 stores at the maximum. Looking at Devan with a twinkle in her eye she nodded to his words. "Sounds like a good idea.... And I heard they have a bubba gumps here.... Apparently they have amazing shrimp. I really want to try it." she said lightly knowing Kei would perk up a bit hearing the word food. She then glanced back at Toru and gave her a look. Poor Toru. Just one glance you could tell she absolutely loved how close Kei would get, but uou could tell she wanted him to stay. Kiyomi then directed Toru's eyes to her hand as she linked fingers with Devan casually and then winked. She believed in Toru. Nodding slightly Toru played with the edge of her dress a bit as they walked into the mall. As they all stopped and checked the you are here map, she silently walked over to Kei, blushing fiercely, and smoothly took his hand and laced her fingers with his. Blushing she looked at him and smiled brightly and brushed her hair out of her face and behind her ear. Kiyomi smiled at Devan and then giggled. "Its just across there!" she said spotting it around the huge corner store. She then gave a thumbs up to Toru and looked at Devan again with a smug smile. "Im going to get them to kiss By the end of this trip." she said with determination. She then looked at him and smiled slyly and kissed his cheek. "And hopefully make you speechless." she said and then giggled.

Kei was looking over Devan's shoulder to see the map when he felt a warm hand slip into his. The white-haired youth blushed immediately, but a smile slowly started on his sharp features. Sure, the mention of shrimp had him excited, but it didn't give him the high that Toru's touch did. He slowly adjusted his fingers within hers, glancing to her for a moment. His maroon gaze caught on the girl's bright eyes - as they always did.
"What color are you thinking?" he asked in a slightly hoarse voice, clearing his throat. "For your dress, that is." He'd heard his twin's comment . . . her goal made him feel uncomfortable (but only a bit) and awfully excited.

"You've already got me speechless," Devan said, leaning over to press his lips to her temple. "You haven't noticed?" She'd always done it to him - struck him silent. Hearing her goal to get her brother to kiss Toru, the vampire laughed. "As Moonbeam's daughter, I'm sure you can manage to throw them together."
The group headed toward the first store - as Kiyomi had pointed out, it wasn't far from them. Devan had been there once many years ago, and a few things were the same - he still looked a bit overwhelmed when too many people gathered around them. That much human blood made his senses go wild - he always turned his eyes to Kiyomi when it grew to be a problem.
After getting past the Thanksgiving and early Christmas shoppers, they finally arrived at Bella. The store was just as Devan said it was - many different styles in one place. "Let's pick some out."

Toru smiled a d blushed a bit more meeting those beautiful maroon eyes of Kei's. She then looked at him and then blushed a deep red hearing Kiyomi. She really didn't have any objections tothat goal... Then snapping out of her litttle day dream of Kei holding her she bit her lip softly before smiled at him widely. "Umm... I was thinking a light color... Maybe blue or pink... But I'm really open to anything..." she said softly and smiled at him happily. "Oh wow..." she whispered looking around the place. "Theyre so beautiful.." she breathed softly.
Kiyomi smiled widely and giggled hearing Devan's words. "In a different way." she said lightly. As they walked she kept close to him, brushing her body against his a bit, just to help keep him in control. She knew the scent of human's strained him a little bit, but as long as he could still smell her's he would keep distracted from the humans. Entering the store Kiyomi's eyes widened, shocked at how beautifulthe dresses were. "This is amazing..." she whispered. There were so many dresses, but mostly the prom dresses caught her eyes. This would be her first year to prom... And she didn't have a dress yet... "I might need two dresses... Sense we're here..." she whispered and blushed looking at Devan. "Help me choose something?" she asked sheepishly, overwhelmed by the number of dresses

"Then we should start over there," Kei gave Toru's hand a gentle tug as he headed for the lighter colored dresses. Honestly, he was just as into the fashion of things as his sister - it had to be the twin thing. Thankfully, he wasn't a naturally quiet person; as he grew more comfortable (and forgot who he was talking to occasionally), Kei spoke more often.
"Personally, I think pink would be a good color," he commented as they broke away from Kiyomi and Devan. "Pink is the most feminine color." He cleared his throat and leaned over to gently nudge the girl's side. "Anything that makes a girl look more feminine is always worth it. Certainly catches the eye quick."

As the other couple broke away, Devan chuckled. They're in for a bit of fun together. And it was about time. Looking over the dresses, Devan smiled. "I'll help you decide, but I want you to start first. After all, you will be the one wearing it. Which ones catch your eye?" His red gaze caught on Kiyomi, and he sent her a small smile. "I know a lot about you, but not everything."

Toru smiled and blushed as she was pulled towardsthe dresses. Her ears flicked up in surprise hearing Kei's words. It seemed Kiyomi wasn't the only one with fashion sense... No wonder kei always looked so hot.. Blushing at his words she smiled and bit her bottom lip lightly. "Well... I need a prom dress too... Maybe we should find that first? Because I care more about that dress then a simplier dress... Prom dresses need to be more... Fitting on a person then just regular dances I think..." she said softly and looked at the dresses biting her lip, her eyes huge and sparkling. They were all soooo pretty.

Kiyomi smiled an giggled watching Kei and Toru walk away towards lighter dresses, knowing Toru was in good hands. "She's going to look adorable." Kiyomi said softly an then snapped her attention to Devan. Smiling widely she nodded. "I was thinking something a bit darker, so it disentangle wash me out... I'm so pale the way it is." she said and pulled on a strand of her hair smiling before looking around. "Theres some..." she said softly slowly walkig over to them. "Geez.... Mom always got me the perfect dresses... Out of so many? She's a mirical worker..." she muttered her ears flattening in a bit more respect for her mother before perking up again as she curiously reached out and felt the silky smooth mstieral of a black form fitting dress.

"Prom," Kei repeated, swallowing the sudden lump in his throat. He'd been toying with the idea of asking Toru to go with him, but hadn't quite figured out how to ask quite yet. As Toru looked at the dresses, Kei slowly followed along with a thoughtful look on his face. "If it's Prom you're thinking of, then pink is definitely the color I would go with." Observing the blush that spread over his friend's face constantly reminded the male to turn a dark crimson as well.
The color faded to a light dusting every time he started thinking of something other than being so close to Toru. "Those ones?" The rack he referred to had many different shades of pink, thus being what caught his eye in the first place. "See any you like?" White tail flicking, he gave her hand an encouraging squeeze.

Pale. That makes both of us. With a chuckle, Devan nodded in agreement. Something dark would make her light skin seem . . . angelic. As Kiyomi reached out to touch the first of the dresses, the vampire let his gaze pass over a few other options. "Don't feel offended, but I would request that you avoid plunging necklines." With one eyebrow raised, he shot the girl a charming smile. "I don't find it very respectable."
His attention returned to the rack before them, and Devan indicated a few of the dresses. They might not be the perfect fit for someone as . . . well-formed . . . as Kiyomi, but they needed to start somewhere.

Toru nodded slowly and then gently reached out. the beauiful fabics made her want to touch them, and then she smiled her tail wagging happily as she felt them. "They're so beautiful... Maybe I should try a few on?" she sggested softly. Slowly and reluctantly letting go of his hand, she stepped forward and picked a few dresses out. She then blushed looking at him. "can you give me your thoughts on them?" she asked and took his hand slowly walking towards the dressing room. She thn left him in the waiting area, which as closed off mostly, but had a huge mirror. She walked into a chnging booth and closed the door. After a few minutes she walked out in a dress. "I don't think this works..." she whispered, her ears flat on her head. the dress was beautiful, but she didn't have enough curves to do anything for it.

Kiyomi turned her head to Devan and then smiled widely. she loved the sound of his chuckle, it was so amazingly hot, oh there went her thoughts again. realing them back in she looked at him kinda surprised and then nodded. "alright, sounds good enough... How about I try a few... I grab two you grab two." she offered and then grabbed to dresses. But then seeing a beautiful blue and white one. unable to resist, she looked at the tag an bit her lip, grabbing it and hiding it under her other two. "Okay... Come on." she said and then pulled him to the dressing rooms. Seeing little toru she squeed a bit and then grinned. "Aren't you so cute?!" she squeeked and then taking the dresses from devan she kissed his lips quicky, meeting his eyes softly with hers and then slipped away into the dressing room.

Watching the door of the dressing room for a few moments, Kei turned to watch Kiyomi slip into her own section. The kiss that she gave Devan upon their parting made Kei whistle mentally, and he ended up laughing. She was going to be flaunting her care for the blood-sucker . . . not that it bothered anyone but Senri. He laughed as his sister commented on Toru's dress, and started upon realizing that his friend was standing nearby.
Distracted, he didn't notice Toru leave her dressing room. Her words caught his attention, and the male's ears perked with interest. "I don't think it is meant for you," Kei said, slowly approaching. Thankfully he'd been thinking of his sister, so he had a talkative streak in him for the time being. "Perhaps something that doesn't dip so low," he gently touched her shoulder to make her turn, observing the dress. "The color is nice, but it's a bit bright. It's pretty . . . but I don't think it's for you."

Passing the dresses he'd gathered over to Kiyomi, and hummed softly when he felt her kiss. Nodding her toward the dressing room, the tall vampire relaxed and leaned against the nearest wall. His red gaze passed over Toru as she was evaluated by Kei, and he couldn't help but smile. The two were so meant for one another - just as he and Kiyomi were.

Toru blushed as she was exaimined by Kei's knowing eyes. She then nodded blushing deeply. "I thought so too..." she said and then hurried into the changing room once again. Well at least she knew when they found the dress that it would be perfect. Expecially with Kei's skills. She then changed into a shorter pink dress and then hung her head. It looked way to punkish for her and way to pointed. She was about to walk out and then decided not too. She changed into a very light simple dress(the first one I showed you.) she smiled looking at herself, the light rosey color seemed perfect and she bit her lip walking out and looked at Kei. "What do you think?"

Kiyomi smiled as she tried to pull on the second one Devan picked out. She then walked out blushing deeply. It was a little too tight around her legs for her liking. "What do you think?" she asked softly bitig her lip. She was nervous mow, wondering if she looked terrible in it or not. She turned slowly for Devan and smile sheepishly waiting for hi answer.

The instant he saw Toru in her dress, Kei's ears perked. His bright eyes filled with the smile that stretched over his face, and he didn't bother reminding himself that this girl wasn't his sister. Quickly approaching, his hands moved to tweak a few folds of the fabric and how it lay over her form. "You look incredible," Kei said quietly, his tail flicking in agreement. A few moments after observing the girl's new dress, Kei ended up with his hand gently linked with hers. With a sheepish laugh, his blush returned. That's right . . . he was talking to Toru, not Kiyomi. "I like this one," he whispered, ducking his head slightly in embarrassment.

Sometimes I wish you couldn't read thoughts. Devan's gaze moved over Kiyomi critically. "I think you should try the other one on, dear." With a small smile, he pictured her trying to move about at the dance. With the dress fitting so tightly over her . . . curves . . . it wouldn't be easy to dance. It might end up being more of a discomfort. The vampire moved toward her and pressed his forehead to hers for a moment before kissing her nose. "How about a different one?"
