Three hundred years ago, a young girl, ages about fourteen write a terrifing diary. It told on the truth, not one lie. Each page is stained with one small drop of blood, with terrible verses of horrible events she had committed herself.
Murder and enjoyment.

Another terrifing secret is she was related to a crazy witch, who was her grandmother.
Due to the talents of a witch, Navessa was able to trap human souls in the pages of her diary, and in the rooms of her home.

No one stopped her knowing what she could do, and lived in fear with their doors locked and children in camps in another state, so they couldn't be found...
Though the anger of the hundreds of ghosts brought justice, and stopped the breathing of Navessa late on a cold, november eve..
Though it wasen't enough. Killing only Navessa didn't calm their anger and hatred.
The house was sealed with locks and chains and was never meant to be open again, and only two hundred years after, the key was found in the garden, and the house was re-oppened as a historical landmark... though the deaths in the house after were never mentioned. .. Always beleived to be suicide..

Now, 2010 ten people were chosen for a free stay, for a full year. They've all accepted nad are on their way to this terrible and haunting place.

((uhh...so we just post then?))

Kaito frowned as he flipped through all the mail he had received in the, well, mail. Then he stopped on a letter that seemed to stand out from the rest. He pulled it out from the pile with two slender fingers, dropping the rest back onto a table to free his other pale hand. He turned the letter around and opened it carefully, blowing a few strands of red highlighted hair out of his face. He unfolded the letter and cold golden brown eyes scanned the letter, moving left to right as he read. He thought about the offer and was about to drop the letter into the trash when his step-mother's angry yells filled the house. His already cold eyes became even icier if that was humanly possible and he clenched his free hand, you know what? Screw that, he would take the offer.

Later that day he had changed into different clothes and had a suitcase set next to him. He took a glance into the full mirror that was attached to his closet door. Staring back at him were empty golden brown eyes which were set into a pale, slender face. Framing that face was black hair, highlighted with red streaks. His eyes traveled down and he took in the rest of his appearance. A lithe build, pale and slender, yet there was a hint at lean muscle. Around his neck was wrapped a black velvet choker with a silver cross attached to that, and a separate chain necklace that had another black cubic cross swinging in it's v. He had on a black vest like top with red decals and a chain held it together. Under that he wore a white wife-beater. Around his left wrist were an assortment of black and silver bracelets, among them a silver chain bracelet that also held a cross motif. His right wrist was covered with a black fingerless glove, the back of which was basically fishnet. He wore a pair of white cargo pants, which covered slim and slightly toned legs. His feet were clad with a pair of somewhat beaten looking black chuck's. His eyes returned to his face and slender fingers reached up to push the black-rimmed glasses that rested on his nose back up. He was set.

As he walked down the stairs and towards the front door his step-mother appeared in the doorway, "Where do you think you're going?" she asked vehemently. Kaito ignored her and continued walking. His father didn't even bother looking away from the football game he was watching, all truth be told he believed Kaito was a failure anyway. His step-mother made a grab for his bag and Kaito quickly pulled the front door open, slipped out, and slammed the door shut in the woman's furious red face. At last, maybe now he would be free from her wrath. He stepped down the few front steps and, dragging his suitcase behind him, continued down the street, towards the nearest train station that would go to his destination.

(( Mhm. No profile required for it.... But... thruth be told, I was being a tad bit lazy ^^;;...))

Ella was given her mail from her mothers butler, Damonick. Nothing interesting, mainly late birthday cards from far-away family. Though, one was different from the rest. The envelope was a clean white with a red sealer in the middle. She began to tear at it but Damonick snatched it away.
'Madam, you shouldn't tear and rip a nice letter such as this. Let me open it.'
Ella mumbled a few words. She hated it here, seeing that everyone was around her constantly, not letting her do as she pleased. It was the tewnty-first centure and her parents acted like it were the eighteen-hundreds.
Due to this, she was usually in some sort of dress, but as soon as she was out of the damned place, her friend Danica, the family driver, would let her get into something up-to-date. Something like a graffiti tee-shirt and dark skinny jeans to match with her shoulder-length straight brown hair. slightly darker than pale skin and bright green eyes.
Damonick finally finished openning the letter and handed it to Ella. 'Thanks...' She mumbled and slid the note out of it. She read it over carefully and a smile slipped across her face. She looked up at Damonick and said, 'Its a letter to a mansion. It's asking if I'd like to stay there a full year with nine other guests. I really hope my mom lets me go.' She said and turned, sort of jogging off.
'Mom!' Ella yelled a bit loudly, knowing it was hard for anyone to hear in this large house.
'What is it?' She said coming from a closet in the hallway. She looked a bit irratated.
'Here, look at this for me.' Ella said and handed the letter to her mother.
Slowly her mother read the letter and shook her head. 'Dear, I can't possibly let you go un-authorized. You need close attention.'
'Mom.. I'll be fine, theres nine other people going, and I'm sure I can make friends with a few of them. They'd be willing to watch over me.' She replied with a bit of a worried look, acting as if she truly and full-heartdly wanted to go.
Her mother bit her lip and replied, 'Fine.'
Ella's smile grew and she hugged her mother tightly. 'Oh, thank you!' She said and jogged back to her room, still seeing Damonick standing were he was a few minutes ago. She rolled her eyes at him.
Quickly packing most of her clothes, she left out of the room and went down stairs, kissing her mother and father on the cheek and waving good-bye to Domanick and the maids. 'I'll be back soon.' She said and left out rather quickly.
Danica pulled up with a smile. 'Lets get goin', kid! Im sure your pretty excited to be getting out of there. Now, get dressed in something you wanna be seen in.' She said, and rolled up the tinted windows in the small limo.

(( Whoo... Long post X-x. ))

{I'll join! This RP sounds awesome ^^}

"TURN DOWN THE STEREO!!!!" Rain could just barely hear her older brother shout at her over the mindless screamo that she was playing. Full volume, of course.
"Sorry, I can't hear you," she called out, but the music drowned her voice in what sounded like repeated car crashes. Smiling, not only because she was getting under her brother's skin, but also because she couldn't hear herself think, she picked up her radio, crossed the mere two feet it was from her bean-bag\bed to her bedroom door (The room was really supposed to be a walk-in closet but since finding out that it was only a yard away from the kitchen, and it could fit her bean-bed-bag, Rain instantly claimed it as her own) and placed the radio right next to it. The vibrations from the bass-woofers shook the fragile frame of the plywood-painted-to-look-like-wood door.
Just as Rain plopped down on her beany-bed (I love giving her bed nicknames >3<) the door swung open, and then got caught on a truck-load of dirty clothes. Soft, honey-colored light from the hallway spilled into her room. It wasn't bright, but Rain's room was dark, painted black in fact, so it was enough to make her squint. Her brother's frame filled the closet as he stooped over to unplug the radio, pick up her dirty clothes, and throw them at her face.
"Thanks for knocking," her voice muffled from the clothes.
"Thanks for killing me with your screamo s**t for the past three years. God, Rain, your 16! I was never this bad at you age!" her brother countered.
Yanking the clothes of her paper-white face, her neon-yellow and black streaked hair in disarray, she laughed, "Your 16 too, moron!" Getting up, Rain squeezed past her brother and made a b-line towards the fridge.
"I have a name you know, it's Stephen, if you haven't already forgotten,"
"Oh, really? I haven't noticed," her bright red eyes (contacts) faked an apologetic look as she cracked open a case of Coke, swiping the rest of the six-pack before shutting the fridge door with her leg.
"Your not going to drink all of those, are you?" Stephen asked, walking towards the counter.
"Why did you want one?"
"No, not really."
"Then why are you asking?" Rain jumped up on the counter, chugging the first can then reaching for another.
"You got mail," Stephen ignoring his sister's attempt to aggravate him, handed her a formal looking document.
"Already read it," she waved her hand dismissively.
"So your going?" her brother asked, examining the paper.
"Is Uncle Aurthur still coming?"
"Yep."
"Then yes, I'm going," Rain finished her third coke, reached for the fourth, stopped, belched, then grabbed the can.
"Wonderful," Stephen mumbled before asking, "you know the plane for this leaves in about an hour? Or less?"

*Half an hour later*
"Bye Stephen, see ya in a year," Rain gave her twin brother a hug with one arm, her other preoccupied with luggage.
"See ya sis, make new friends," her brother hugged her back before stepping away so that she could get in line for the security check.

Kaito's eyes stared apathetically ((or however you spell it)) out the window. The passing scenery did nothing to help relieve his boredom. He glanced once in the direction of his bag and violin case. A pale hand reached out and he grasped the handle of the violin case, pulling it closer to his body, the bag he left in the seat next to him. He wrapped one thin arm loosely around the violin case and then returned his gaze out the window, chin propped in his open hand. The sky had darkened considerably since he had left home. He leaned slightly forward as the train jerked and his forehead pressed against the cool glass of the window, his breath fogging up the window slightly. Around him were shouts of children and babies crying, accompanied by mothers’ talking to each other. And occasionally the click of keyboard keys, a few seats away someone was sleeping, their glasses askew and the music they were listening to blasting.

Maybe it was a good thing he was leaving his childhood home? Just to take a break for a year. He closed his eyes and leaned back into his seat, a feeling of loneliness, a feeling he’d been able to suppress for a long time, washed over him. All the people around him…they had somebody. Him? Nobody. His father thought of him as useless, his mother had left a few years back. He had no one left. A sigh escaped from his lips as the train jerked again. Would he meet new people there? At this mansion? The letter had said there would be nine other people beside himself. His eyes opened and his gaze landed on the scenery outside, managing to catch the final rays of the setting sun. He returned his gaze to the letter he had taken out, he would be arriving soon. Maybe in another half hour, then…then a new chapter in his life would start. Hopefully, it would be a better one than the ones already written.

((aww poor Kaito, it probably won't be better, only worse. XD))

{lol Ah, misplaced hope, such a wonderful thing XD}

"'Scuse me, but may I ask where you get your clothes?" a young girl asked. She looked about twelve, with heavy mascara, a black trench coat, and combat boots. Rain didn't giver her a reply but instead looked down on herself. Only seeing steal-toed boots, torn fishnet, a miniskirt, studded belt, tank top, and a dark rain-jacket, she couldn't figure out why the tween had asked her that question.
"Where'd you think I get my clothes? Moron," Rain thought to herself. In the corner of her mind, a small voice tried to say how the girl was young and that she should be kind to her, but it was drowned out by the chaos reeking havoc on her brain.
After passing security, Rain's flight had fifteen minutes till take-off and she had twenty dollars. Sauntering over to a Starbucks, she purchased two mocha lattes (Spelt that wrong), a brownie, and three Triple-Chocolate-Double-Fudge cookies (Made those up). She also bought a bottle of water which she drained and poured one of her lattes into while heading towards her flight.
Getting there just as they started to seat passengers on the plane, Rain had plenty of time to slip her bottled latte and junk food into her purse before getting on the plane herself.

Late night, everything crazy, or that's what little the eighteen year old remembered when she rolled out of bed in the morning. Long, knee length, fire engine red hair covered her pale body as she groggily looked at her clock, moving to pull on a pair of black undergarments, and a simple pair of black short-shorts. Then it was to get on her torn, midriff-baring black tee, and her strange black jacket. It was in a trench-coat style, with a hood and separated sleeves. Strange, sure, but strange was something Cheyenne O'Connor did well. Bare feet slapped against the floor as she headed into the kitchen, eating breakfast, reading over what she had to do today. Oh yeah. It was the first day of her stay at that house-thing she'd gotten accepted for. That meant changing pants and packing the rest of her clothes. She had a few decently sized bags, all of which she had paid a friend to take up there for her in his truck.

There was no way she was leaving her beautiful motorcycle behind, after all.

And so, her friend in the truck behind her, she pulled on a pair of black vinyl pants, her biking boots, gloves, zipped up the trench coat, pulled the hood over her had, crammed a helmet on, revved the engine, and sped off. Green eyes gazed out evenly as she began her journey towards this gigantic house where she and nine other people (Oh joy of all joys. PEOPLE.) were going to live....together. For a year. Chey didn't much care for people, unless they knew how to have fun or party. As long as she had her cigarettes, a room, and food, and most people kept out of her way, things would go gorgeously. Hands tightened, and she gunned the engine faster, expecting the male in the truck behind her to keep up. She just wanted to get there, get this over with. Good thing this place wasn't to terribly far from her own home, maybe five hours, at the speed she was going.

Red hair pushed against her sides as she sped down the road, tied in a braid that leaned over the left of her neck. Those emerald pools narrowed as she was forced to come to a stop at a light, pulling her visor up to look around. Still not too close, and her buddy was probably getting hungry. Oh well...They'd stop later....for now? Chey just wanted to be closer to her destination...

And further away from home.

Kaito got to his feet fluidly, stretching lightly to get the kinks out of his joints when the train finally rolled to a jolting stop. He grabbed his bags and slung his violin case carefully over his shoulder, waiting for the crowd to dwindle down before he attempted to unboard the train. His unflinching gaze followed the people filing past him, barely registering what they looked like. It was completely dark now, probably the middle of the night judging by the position of the full moon in the sky. He blinked and then moved into the aisle with his stuff, taking light steps yet still having his feet sink into the plush carpeting of the carriage. How annoying.

After he had finally gotten off the train he paused a moment to let a passing breeze ruffle his hair, completely ignoring the annoyed mutterings of the people he was blocking. His eyes blinked quickly and he finally moved, his shoes barely making a sound and his stuff rolled behind him, producing a constant whirring sound. All around him were families greeting loved ones, tearful goodbyes, tearful hellos, the works. His eyes scanned the crowd and then he walked through the crowds, which parted for him. Must have been the dark aura he seemed to have been emitting. Probably.

A few moments later found Kaito seated in a cafe with a cup of tea and a slice of pumpkin pie set on the table in front of him. He toyed with the cellphone he held in one pale, thin hand. He let it slide to the edge between two fingers before flipping it and repeating the process. His other hand held a fork, with a small piece of pie, which he was lifting to a set of pale pink lips pierced with two small black hoops. He plopped the pie into his mouth and chewed slowly, seemingly oblivious to the waitresses giggling off to the side. He was sitting rather languidly, his stuff next to him, he wasn't exactly sure how he had ended up in the cafe but he didn't really care much at that point in time. His eyes were distant, thinking back to the phone call he had just ended. It had involved yelling on the other party's part and apathetic replies on his. He let out an annoyed sigh and sat up straight, letting his phone drop to the table, it clattered loudly in the small cafe. His now free hand went up to push his glasses back into place and to brush his bangs back, he'd have to call his dear step-mother back to apologize later...maybe. He speared another piece of pie and munched on it, savoring the sweetness. This continued on in silence until he finished the pie and then moved to his tea. He took light sips, suddenly acutely aware of everything happening in the cafe. The girls staring unabashedly at him, people just now returning from work, the other patrons. He finished his tea and set the cup down with a sharp clack and stood up, pushing the chair back with a light screeching sound. He grabbed his stuff again and headed to the cashier to pay.

After leaving and politely refusing random numbers being handed to him he walked down the silent streets, heading for a park he had seen in the distance. he'd go to the mansion later...in the morning, when everybody else would most likely show up. Shadows seemed to leap out at him as he walked, only the random streetlight illuminated his way. In those dark spaces in between muggers, rapists, the like could have been lurking. The thought didn't bother him much. A passing breeze raised goosebumps on his bare arms but he continued his steady pace.

((whoosh~ yay for somewhat long-ish post XD All guaranteed to be fluff though, I got bored. Though it leaves space open for random people to approach him if they want ^^.))

{Rain is a random person! =D XD lol}

Chugging down the last of her mocha, Rain prepared to leave the plain. Having a cookie and brownie left, she decided that she would save that for the walk to the house. It was late, around 8:30 p.m., and walking out this late would be refreshing. Sunlight was overrated. Being seated in the third seat in the farthest row back, she was the last one to leave. Her foot hitting the carpet of the airport, she took in a deep breath, relived not to have to sit next to someone who liked debating the existence of Big-foot. Why hadn't he just SHUT UP?!? Her evil glare of doom and destruction had failed her. Pity. Exhaling, Rain began to walk towards the exit. Having only packed two bags, one being a tote bag and the other being her carry-on, she took out a map of the city. Her eyes studied the map while she began walking down a dark street. Squinting then widening her eyes, then squinting them again, she tried to find which way would make her pupils bigger so that she could actually look the map. Seriously, who didn't light up a street? Maybe whoever was in charge wanted people to get mugged? Frustrated, she tried to put the map back in her tote bag. But it was being difficult, deciding that it looked better tucked between her back and her backpack (the backpack was her carry-on).
"Come on!" she growled, yanking and pulling, her attention elsewhere while she continued to walk forward. This wasn't the best thing to do.
"Effing little bugge-" Rain was cut off as she slammed into someone. The person fell, but she managed to keep her balance. Brushing aside her highlighter colored hair, she was able to get a good look at the person she pushed down. Pail skin and piercings. He was cute. Shrugging, she stepped aside and continued her walk. He probably had girls drool over him all the time, a healthy dose of hatred would be good for him. Besides, Rain had never been good at apologies. She always managed to make them feel awkward.

Kaito landed on the ground with a small thump, not truly expecting someone to walk into him in the near complete darkness. How nice. When he fell he'd made sure to move his violin case so that he didn't land on it, instead it was cradled in his arms. Definitely nice, judging by the person's footsteps, they were probably trying to get away. Kaito climbed to his feet gracefully and picked up his pull along bag's handle. Whoever it was had seemed to be annoyed with the map they had been holding and a sigh slipped past his pale lips. His breath fogged lightly in the cold air as he turned to the retreating figure's back, "Excuse me." He held up the map that they had dropped, "You dropped something." He finished in a silky, yet apathetic voice. As he waited for them to retrieve it or say something he fixed his violin case to his back once again and pushed his glasses back into place, sweeping his bangs to the side. He rolled his shoulder slightly and then slouched slightly in his stance, he didn't want to seem like some freaky tall guy after all... A passing breeze ruffled Kaito's hair and blew his bangs back into his face, making his efforts to make his hair stay out of his eyes pretty much useless. How annoying.

(Hi! Oh.... and just to let you know straight away, my girl's name is Maddie)

Maddie sighed deeply, running her thin fingers through her long, curly, dark red hair. She looked at herself in a cracked mirror, and saw herself, a slim, pale, girl with long dark red hair and dark lips wearing a dark green t-shirt and dark jeans. She walked out of the room. She turned around and put her feet (with socks... obviously xD :D) into her black flats, and walked down the stairs.

It was only a few hours later, and Chey was there. The nice town (Ha. Nice. Good one.) that housed the creepy....well, house, that she'd be staying at. But first things were first! The girl was finally hungry, so she pulled into a parking spot, telling her friend to go find his own food, and wrenched her helmet off her head. Emerald pools scanned about, as her thin fingers undid the braid, letting long, cherry red hair cascade in straight falls around her to her knees. She adjusted it, letting it fall over either shoulder from beneath the hood of her trench coat, the hooded thing giving her a foreboding air. One that, at this point, she was quite fond of. Pulling out a cigarette, the girl slid it between her lips, lighting up contentedly, and exhaling a puff of silvery blue smoke into the air. She stopped in her quest for food for a moment to watch the smoke drift up in the air, twisting and twirling, the designs tantalizing to her bored mind. Eventually, (eventually being when her cig finally gave out, and she crushed it underneath the heel of her boot) Cheyenne decided on a small restaurant on a corner.

She ordered simply. Burger cooked rare, extra mayo, no ketchup, no mustard, and only tomatoes. For a drink? Hot chocolate. That had earned her a stare of incredulity from the waiter, and she simply smirked, wiggled her fingers and asked the man,
"Gotta problem, Mister? I said Hot Chocolate, an' I mean it? You understandin' me?" Chey knew her lower-city cant was unnerving to some people, especially those who were used to upper class talk. Asking this firecracker to behave, though, was like asking a fish to breathe air. Well...maybe not so dramatic. She liked being unnerving, liked being thought of as the girl who could, if you pissed her off, could kick your sorry bum from here to tomorrow. For now, though, she'd settle for being 'that scary girl in the corner you don't want to mess with' or whatever else would come up. Didn't live for good impressions, after all. Reaching into her pocket, she heard her ring tone go off, a cheesy song one of the few she was close to had labeled onto her. She glance at it, and texted back,
Yeah. I made it okay. Don't want to be here though. People. Gah. Worse than the clubs at home, and it's only just hitting sunset~ Fun.

Rain stopped mid-step. Grimacing, she debated whether it would be worth it to go get her map. Getting it back would be awkward, no doubt of that. Maybe he would try and get her to apologize. No way would she actually do it though. These where all good reasons to leave the map and the stranger, but she did really need it. How would she get to the house? Call a cab. But she didn't have any money.
"Well isn't this awesome?" she mumbled sarcastically under her breath. Turning on her heal, she sauntered over to the guy, a I-Could-Care-Less-About-What-You-Think-So-Don't-Even-Try-To-Lecture-Me plastered onto her face.
"Thanks so much," she smiled a big, cheesy smile while taking her forefinger and thumb and plucking the map from his hand.

"Hn." Kaito replied, and then placed his now free hand onto his other bag's handle. The look on the girl's face didn't intimidate him at all, actually it made him want to laugh. She was trying to intimidate him? It was almost funny. He wanted to leave, to just walk away, but he had noticed that she was most likely heading to the same place he was, if he wasn't mistaken. He had gotten a look at the map when she'd plucked it from his hand. By the looks of it, she was completely lost."Are you...lost?" he inquired, his tone now one of boredom. He wasn't trying to be rude or anything, he just didn't think it would be right to let her wander around in the darkness. He couldn't cae less if he himself got jumped and/or mugged, but if he could prevent it from happening to someone else...then he might as well try right?
