Camille couldn't think of a reason she'd been thrown into Hell. She was never a horrible person. Sure, she was strange, but she tried to help people. She listened now, not sure how to react to Fay's answer to Roxxy's question or to Roxxy's comment.

"Who's is it?" Roxxy's wolfish ears fell back after she blurted out the curious question, realizing that her tone could have been misinterpreted as rude. "...and why are there different layers?" Well she just couldn't help but to ask.

Fay looked at the wolf girl, "It's God's discion." The demon girl thought it to be a little strange that they didn't know this. Wasn't there a book on Earth all about this type of thing? then listening to Roxxy's second question she respnded, "Hell has layers just like Earth and Heaven do. It keeps things balanced. Unlike Heaven and Hell, you can't really see the Earth's layers; they are under the soil for the most part. I'm not sure how Heaven does it's layers but i know that in Hell, you are either a really bad person and was placed in that specific layer by God. or you're a demon and depending on how strong you are, determines how "deep" you can go into the layers."

"Ooh..." Roxxy thought about it for a little while, she might have known the stories of hell from the bible or Dante's Inferno if she had grown up with humans. But she had been raised by wolves in her early childhood, and when she had been separated from her pack she had lived as a street urchin and orphan in the human world. She had no formal education, and she couldn't remember many stories about heaven or hell. All she knew was the bare minimum. You went to hell for sinning, and you went to heaven for being good. She didn't even believe in god, so she wrinkled her nose when Fay mentioned him. However she did believe in a few other deities that she had heard of over the years, such as Skoll and Hati or Gaia, goddess of the Earth. They made sense to her, but she knew little of god. "Do you have to be a demon born in hell to enter the layers of hell?" She tilted her head to the side before casting a glance at Kite who had been silent since they ran from Lucifer.

Camille looked at Terri, Ice, and Kite. She was a little worried about them. She turned to Roxxy for a moment. "Umm, Roxxy? Could you...uh...help me with my power?" She wanted to be able to protect herself, and if the others were still in shock or whatever when they got attacked again, she wanted to protect them too.

The wolf ears on top of her head jumped up, when she heard Camille say her name, which caused a strand of black hair to fall in her face. Frowning she brushed it back and touched the ears on her head, the disappeared before she settled her thoughtful ice blue eyes on the girl. "I could try... I use ice, not fire... but my Mom and Grand-mama used fire and they helped me!" She smiled, having just given herself confidence that she could help Camille after all. Blowing cold air into her hands again, she frowned slightly. "You have to practice.."

Camille gave a strong smile. "I'm ready to do whatever I have to. I don't wanna set anyone on fire on accident if i can help it." She thought of when she first ran into the group with an inferno surrounding her, then threw the thought aside. Her feet had small flames as always, but they seemed to be dancing with her excitement.

Even though they were in probably the worst place possible, Kite zoned out and was reading a book again, sitting up against one of the pillars and not paying attention. He stood up, closing the book, clichely (if that's a word) named "Fire's for dummys." "Well, this thing was no help at all, it only talks about camp fires." He looked at the cover. "However, if you do end up starting something, I can put it out now." Kite was like that, once he read how to do something, he would be able to do that very thing for the rest of his life.

Roxxy tilted her head, but smiled. "I think that I can help put out the fire anyway! ...Well.. I don't know how much the heat will affect me.." She looked over to Kite, pausing with her hand raised. She was going to try to put out one of the flames at Camille's feet, just as a test. But at Kite's words, she scoffed, but also wondered if Camille's fire could be put out by regular means. Roxxy's hand dropped to her side, "Kite and I will try to put out the fire if anything goes wrong! So you can practice without worrying.. which is a good thing. I had to learn by fighting for my life." Her big smile was unsettling with the last thing she said. "...Do you think that you could put the fire in your hands, or if it just comes out of the Earth? You should try.." Roxxy lifted both of her hands and rubbed them together, making another snowball in between them, then held it out for Camille to see. "I've seen others make fireballs that float over their hands.."

Camille smiled at her two friends. They were willing to help her, and she was glad for their support. "I can try" She said to Roxxy. Camille put her hands close to her chest, holding her hands loosely together, and focused on moving the fire at her feet to her hands. It took several minutes. She couldn't tell if it had been 5 minutes or 35 minutes, but either way, she managed to produce a small flame about the size of a cigarette butt between her palms. She slowly pulled her hands away from her chest and was practically glowing with her excitement. Although the flame was so small, it managed to stay lit long enough for her to show the others. "Oh My Gosh! I did it!" Just as she said this, however, the fire burnt out. She was excited either way. Without being told anything else, she sat cross legged on the ground and tried again, hopefully with better results.

((Crowly, we aren't at the pillars anymore. XD they had to run away from the monsters trying to eat them.))

Fay smiled at the two. She knew exactly what they were doing and what they were talking about. The demon could controle both elements and decided to see if she could help. She sat down next to Camille. "I believe fire is a little easier to controle than ice is." She formed a fire ball in her hands to show the girls. "With fire, you need to feel the heat from inside you and, controlingly, push it out through your hands."

((lol. ok, so not much has happened. The group ran away from a demon that attempted to attack them. Fay gave a run down on a bit of what's been going on and why Hell has levels, so you might want to read The posts for Fay, they're in black and dark red. and now they are practicing their powers. oh! and two other characters are in Hell now but on a completely different level.))

Kite was slightly annoyed by Roxxy's comment. There wasn't a thing he could do, he was the only mortal in the group. Kite sat down on a rock. Figures.... He thought. "If only I had some of my equipment." Kite said to himself, pulling out another book titled "So, You've Hit a Rough Spot." He chuckled. You don't know the half of it...

Roxxy grinned big and wide at Camille's success. "Good job!!" That's when the woman realized that she either hadn't learned Camille's name, or hadn't retained it. But she forgot to bring it up again when Fay sat down and gave Camille better instructions on how to use fire, which got Roxxy to laugh a little. "..Yeah.. controlling ice is different.. but that's all I can do. I used to hate it, because I didn't draw on the warmth inside me, I had to draw on the cold... But I learned to like it!" Hearing Kite's comment Roxxy turned around and saw that he was down in the dumps despite his chuckling at a book. Frowning and canting her head to the side one moment, the next she was black, furry and sitting on her haunches. A soft whine came from within the wolf's throat as she padded up to Kite, resting her jaw on his knee, looking at him with large blue eyes.

Camille nodded to acknowledge their words and focused on the warmth in the center of her being. instead of a small flame, she was covered in flames once again, but this time, the flames stayed near her, almost hugging to her skin without burning her or her clothes. She opened her eyes, and smiled excitedly. The flame was under her control as she stood up, but as soon as she did and stopped focusing on it, it burst out, then dissipated. Camille smiled sheepishly. "I think I need to focus longer," she commented, before sitting back down once again.

Kite looked up from the book momentarily at Roxxy, raising an eyebrow. "Really, you're doing that now?" He turned to Camille. "Here's a tip whenever doing anything, don't fight it. If the fire wants to grow, let it grow, if it wants to shrink, let it shrink. Fighting it will have explosive results." Kite lifted up his left arm and pulled the sleeve back, revealing a large, spikey shaped scar. "Trust me, I should know."

(( Oh! Terri and Ice got dragged along with Camille and Kite by Roxxy and Fay.. So Terri and Ice should be standing right near to them, listening to the convos and watching them play with ice and fire. ))

Her ears perked up, and she got that excited-puppy look in her eyes. Yes, she was doing that now. But she settled down, laying her head back on his lap as he listened to him council Camille, tail wagging. Well.. her tail was wagging until she lifted her head to take a look at the scar, then it drooped along with her ears. She plopped her furry butt on the ground, an invisible wind rustled the black fur and in a moment she was human again, cross legged and looking at Kite curiously. "Usually humans will scratch behind my ear and feel better when I do that.. You're a weird one." Shifting to her knees she grabbed his arm, forgetting about the personal space boundary, and traced her finger over the scar. "You don't have the ability of fire, do you? How did you get the scar?"

Camille listened to the advice, not even noticing the scar just yet. She let the fire flow through her, around her, be her. Soon, she was a human torch, although like every other instance, her person nor her clothes were scorched. She opened her eyes and looked around, letting the flames dance on her skin as they like. She turned to thank Kite, then noticed the scar that Roxxy was examining. The fire around her died immidiately as her concern drowned the flames.

Kite let out a chuckle. "Us humans can control fire, and other things, but not completely, and not in the way you do. We use machines, we build things, we test things, and sometimes things go wrong." Kite looked at the sky, if you would call it a sky. "I work in a lab where we test explosives, specifically a more efficient way to use them. They aren't for war or anything like that, just demolishing old buildings mostly. I was in the test chamber when the warning sirens went off. I had just got out the door right before the flames followed me. Apparently I wasn't fast enough." He pulled his arm away from Roxxy and rubbed his scar. "However, this scar is a reminder of how lucky I am...er....was. I could have died, but I survived." He rolled down his sleeve, covering the scar. "Even though I'm in hell now, that gift of survival that we humans have should still be in effect."

She listened to him with seriousness, stifling a scoff. She new about a few of the human machines and could control fire. Roxxy had seen that, even if she refused to go anywhere near those atrocious metal boxes on wheels... cars. However refrigerators were a real neat trick. In the end she couldn't help snickering after he mentioned human's gift for survival. Standing up she looked at Camille, then to Fay. "Is there any place to stay, where the demons won't get us? ...Or where there's food?" She was going to keep her comment about human survival to herself, she didn't mind Kite because he seemed nice, so she'd rather not give him a reason to be mad at her.
