Chris braced himself when he felt his fur ruffle some from the gust of wind that Cora had sent in their direction, he could handle him self and now everyone in the group now knew that he was a werewolf. He gave a low growl as he watched Faline slowly fall a sleep at his feet. It was actually kind of funny for him to watch, he couldn’t help but give a barking laugh as he watched her.
Soon he was yawning also, he looked at the scaleans sleepily, he just turned his back and made his way over to Rory, tugging on her dress until she had fallen back on him. He then heard Zero yelling at them, he turned his head slowly towards the man, giving him a sleep bark, as if telling him that everything is fine now so chill. He then laid down and curled up around Rory, basically becoming a black circle that it would be hard for her to get out of unless she was a pack animal, soon he was a sleep. ---------- Lyna sighed heavily and moved towards the dark ring that was surrounding Zero, soon she was standing in front of the spot that his eyes were at. She stared into his red eyes with her very pale green eyes, it was like they were doing a staring contest. "We are not blind, Zero. We are just having a few problems that are no solved. These kind of things happen. So calm down and look around you, Faline is passed out, it even looks as if Chris is passed out. The others are not fighting except Cora and Jake who are fighting the scaleans that Faline sommoned. CALM YOUR SELF." she said to him in a calming, soothing, leveled voice, the last sentence that she said, she said loud in enough in the same voice for her to be heard by everyone. It was clear that her little adventure with the unicorn had changed her, she wasn't even the same person that she was moments before it had happened. |
Zero scoffed at the female before him. "Do you honestly believe I'd listen to you? I take orders from no one but myself." Releasing Akina, he watched at the male morphed back into a man. "Akina, where are we?"
"Lost." "Well duh." "Oh, we're near a lake. I believe... hold up!" Akina bounded into the air. Flipping from tree to tree, the male was finally overlooking the small island. "Looks like we're on an island!" He shouted down. "Great...." Coming back down to the earth below, Akina licked his hands. "Hmmm, the trees are coated with a funny substance. I think we ought to seek shelter elsewhere... and soon." "What is it?" "I take an enemy. And by it, I mean something we don't want to mess with. I'm not sure if you could win. I mean, I can, but I'm awesome like that... but still, I think it's best if we leave." "But what about the key I found?" "We'll look into it more once we move. Come now everyone, let's move out. We really need to leave." Akina's hair began to stand on end as he glared around himself. "And I mean now." |
Lyna just looked at the male before her with a calm expression on her face, normally she would have been upset by how Zero was actting towards her and they things he said to her. "I understand that, Zero, but like you said earlier things like what your were saying to everyone will not help us right now." She glanced at Akina, she wantted to tell him something personal but he didn't seem interested in it, so she just turnned and faded into the trees, unlike the others, she was going to move from the area that they were in, maybe it was because Akina had said something about moving, maybe it was because she wantted to clear her head of the headache that she had gotten.

Sophiya looked at Akina, what had he seen, or felt that made him want to go so quickly?she wondered. She walked over to where him, Zero and Lyna where standing "where are we going to go?"she asked, not knowing what to do in this situation
Tiffany looked over to where Lyna had disappeared into the trees and decided to see if she was okay. she walked into the trees and grabbed Lynas arm "Are you okay?"she asked, truly concerned. "Because you should really stick with us, because even if we never get off this island, at least you will be safe."she smiled |
Something just kind of clicked in Rory's mind when she saw her sister fall and Chris 'laugh' at her. It was a similar sound to that the Unai make when their laughing. He then began walking over to her and this freaked her out of bit. She watched in wide eyed as her sister's protectors were ripped away from her and she knew that she had to do something. As she went to run Chris walked up to her and pulled her onto his back. She was stuck there until he put her down.
That wasn't much longer though, and once he had gotten comfortable the younger Unai scrammbled over the large wolf and ran over to where her sister lay. Kneeling in front of her, she draped her body over the sleeping form. "It's ok Faline," she cooed to her as she watched the group, her yellow eyes gaining a protectiveness to them. "I won't let them hurt you." As she lay over her sister she could hear Zero and Akina talking and she became angry, a mood not common for this girl. She didn't say anything though, she just glared at the duo. Her glare then went over the entire group save for Chris, he was at least willing to understand. None of the others knew why her sister was acting the way she was and they didn't seem to care, not even the male that had shown the most interest in her. Her eyes then shifted to her sister as she stroked her head and ears, her own ears falling back. I know you don't want them to know, she thought as she stared at her sister sadly. But, maybe if they knew they could help. |
Jake was struggaling to get the creature of, but in the end he manged to shake it off, but had teeth marks in his neak "you are going to pay" he yelled at the scalean, he flew at it while biting its neck "time to die" he yelled as he flew towards the ground smashing it into the floor, he got up and growled at it, then when it got up he lunged at it "DIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE" he yelled as he sliced at its body

As if Rory wasn't be uncharacteristic enough, when Jake attacked the Scalean she jumped up, her body still over her sister's even though she was standing. "You are foolish and rekless," she said, her tone dangerously low as her glare focused on the dragon. "That creature did nothing to you."
She knew what she had said earlier and she knew what had happened in her pack when Faline had summoned like this before. The only difference was that the summoner had passed out this time and when that happens, no matter who summoned, the creature or creatures will protect them, much like that beast that her and Rory had summoned years ago. "I'm glad you were not one to talk about being calm and civilized," she was taunting him practically, but that was because like her sister always was, Rory had entered a protective mode. She had said that the scaleans would attack those who got near Faline. That was true, but that was because with her out of it they weren't sure who was safe and who was it. It all depended on how the fallen Unai was approached and how they reacted. Maybe I should have been a little more clear on that, she thought as she watched the severly wounded Scalean drag in half dead body back to the fallen Unai. The creature didn't try to hurt Rory, it did try to stand up again, though this time it was more haunched over due to the fact its insides were no longer on the inside. It took a ragged breath as it hissed, though the sound sounded more like the mix of a hiss and the rattle on a snake. Its eyes were clouded but it still positioned itself over the girls never bothering to see where its partner was. If it returned then it did, but if not then this one had a battle on its hands given the attack pursued. |
Jake looked at the creature, Jake's neck was gusing with blood "why the hell sould i care about that creature, its overly protective, and a danger to most people" his cuts were not as bad as the scaleans but they were still rushing with blood, but he would not rest until the scalean was dead. He began to move towards the creature, but he was weak and slow "i must... finish it off" he said as he got closer to both the scalean and Rory "i will not harm your sister, only the creature"

Rory growled loudly at Jake's movements and statements, her features distorting as her Unai form began pushing through. "Go ahead! Kill it I dare you!" She yelled as her her fangs began growing even more, her long ears replacing her cat ones as they focused on the dragon approaching them. "GRAH! And you guys call us hell hounds! He wouldn't have hurt you had you not threatened him!"
Rory's claws were out now and the rest of her Unai form soon followed. While she was smaller than her sister she would still be large even for a dog. Her body stood on edge, her eyes wild as she put herself between Jake and both the Scalean and Faline. At this point she would fight the dragon if she had to, she wasn't going to abandon her sister even if she was paired with Chris. She hoped that he would understand that, she could still be with him but she didn't want to abandon her pack. The scalean didn't like how Rory was putting herself in harms way. Coming from Faline's blood the creatures knew who was safe and who wasn't. Even with what had happened the creature had no intention of harming anyone unless they posed a threat to Faline mostly. The winged creature moved a feathered wing and tried to push Rroy back but it was too weak to really do that and with the state the younger girl was in, she didn't listen anyway. With that not working it just slide its clawed feet slowly until a blood trail was behind it and the creature had pushed its way in front of Rory. Lowering is head and neck and growled. |
Jake was too weak to fight two things, so he stopped "then tell it im not here..." his legs give way, but he soon got back up "... tell it im ot here too hurt you... just to help" he said coughing a bit of blood and stumbling "or you could do us three a favoure and finish me, its your choice. im borded of fighting" he said laying down and waiting for the finishing blow from either the Unai or the scalean

“Tiffany, I am fine, honestly. I am will be safer then most of you guys here….there are just a few things I can‘t tell you guys. We should get moving anyways before we get eaten or worse.” Lyna said as she stopped when her arm was grabbed, she looked at the girl kindly. She turned and looked back at the group through the trees, for a flitting moment she looked more horse like then human, then it was like it never happened.

Cora wasnt trying to kill the beasts, she just wanted them not to attack the others. From what Jake had done she saw that the girls were extremely mad at what was happening with them. She gently put the scalean that was wrapped in her tail back on the ground. She hadnt caused it too much damage from being swung around. At maximum it would only be dizzy, which was her origional intention. If this girl had summoned the creature, than killing it would kill a part of her. She looked at Rory and Faline in a little bit of shame for having thrown the one to the other dragon. Her intentions were to fight only if it fought her. If it didnt want to fight she was going to just make sure it stayed away from the others.
Immediately upon bowing her head to the girl, she changed back to a human being and looked at Jake. "I didnt think you were actually going to harm it." She said a little skeptically. "Im sorry for the inconvenience Rory. I just didnt want it harming the others. This one is still fine. Maybe just a little dizzy, but fine nonetheless." She turned on her heel and started to walk away from the group. She would need to collect herself before seeing them again and she was going to see them again, but at this point she seemed to just be causing trouble. Changing into wolf form at the edge of the clearing she ran off towards the cave she had lived in for the past 6 months. ((For those of you who dont know... I wont be here so im staying out of the way for now.)) |
Jake lifted his head of the ground "it attacked me so i attacked back" he said weakly getting up, he turned human, and his skin was pale, he walked a bit closer to Rory "you have two choices, accept my apoligy, or finish me of, its up to you, i dont care. but if you dont finish me fate most likely will" he stumbled a bit "i was not intending on dying, but i deseve it for what i did"

Once the second scalean was returned back to the ground the first collapsed, but still held itself up a bit. The other tired returning to the other but hobbled like a drunkard slightly before falling over and kicking its legs wildly for a moment. It stopped after a while before taking a breath and using its neck to push itself up. The creature then walked behind the others and lay it body neck to Faline's, its eyes watching everyones movements.
Rory was happy that Cora had returned the other Scalean, but Jake's response, not so much. She shook her head as she snorted in disgust at now-human. She stepped off of her sister and sat down beside her as she stared at the male. While she did not readily accept his apology, she did not make any attempt to harm him. Her kind was always viewed as the dangerous, blood thristy monsters and now she was going to show everyone that Unai are not like that. She sat, almost with pride, as she watched the male. He acted as though he was at her mercy but that didn't faze her. In all reality she wanted a change of venue, this place was getting mucked up by the fights and everything. She couldn't go though, not while her sister was out of comission. Soon enough the wounded scalean just disappeared it what looked like a cloud of red smoke. His time had passed, much quicker than the other considering his wounds were severe. |
Jake was quite anoyed at the fact she had just blanked him, so he attempted to draw his sword, but it emidiatly fell to the floor "answer me, you ignorant fool" he said attempting to walked but fell to his knees "will you give me death, or mercy" he asked and the wounds continued to bleed.

Rory's yellow eyes watched the male distastefully as he drew his sword. The remaining scalean had instantly reacted as it rose its body up slightly, its entirety shaking as it hissed dangerously at Jake. The black creature ignored it though as she took a few steps toward the male, shifting back into her human form as she did.
He was on his knees now and she stood before him a rather irritated look on her face. "You truly are something else dragon," she said, her tone unimpressed. It wasn't everyday that she ran into people that actually expected her kind to talk. They were animals they couldn't actually 'talk'. "You call me ignorant and yet you are the one that does not know the facts. Your actions could have put everyone here in great danger. That is why I don't react. The natures shall do what they wish with you, it is the Unai way for those that have betrayed us." Rory's eyes narrowed at the male before she walked past him and up to Chris. Kneeling before him she stroked his black fur before grabbing her bag that lay beside him. Opening it she pulled out a dress similar to the one she had on before but this one was white. Pulling her clothes on she sat down, leaning against the wolf as her eyes remained glued mainly on Jake and her sister. She knew that if he tried anything that the scalean would attack but after what he did, she could not trust him. Most people didn't react on such little information. To her, this one was the weakest link. The breathing from the wolf behind her calmed her down though. Faline was fine. The others wouldn't let anything happen to her, she didn't have to worry. A sad smile came to her face as she thought about what she had done. There wasn't anything she could do though. Jake's actions did make him a traitor to her kind and besides, she still hadn't recouperarted from healing Chris ealier. Sighing she let her body just relax more into the black fluff. |
Jake let a tear run from his eyes "i was going to make up for my mistake, but i guess you are too selfish to let me try, and that is why i hate Unai" he said attempting to stand "so no-one... will help me" he said getting angry "SO ALL THIS TIME I DIDN'T DIDN'T DO SOMETHING, BUT WHEN I DO ONE THING WRONG, SHE GETS MOODY" he said pointing at Rory "fine i'll... go then" he said turning "stupid Unai" he mumbled

Rory patted Chris before standing again, almost as if to reassure the sleeping wolf that she would be alright. "So, I am selfish for following the ways of my people? I'm sure if you were in my position and you followed your peoples' way it would not be considered selfish then?"
The younger sister shook her head as she said, "You hate what you don't know, just like the rest of mankind." When people say that Unai are mysterious, they mean it, in just about every sense of the word. If it hadn't been for humans constantly finding themselves in their territory they never would have adopted a human form. People had never wanted to learn about the creatures, they were 'savages' and 'monsters' because they didn't run the same way as the rest of humanity. "Don't start yelling and pointing blame on something you know nothing about dragon," Rory then said as she remained calm even though he had called her kind 'stupid'. They were used to that, the name calling and frankly, 'stupid' was about as harsh as a feather. Her sister probably would have reacted to it, she reacted to just about any insult to their kind, that was just how she was though. "Even given the fact that I follow the rules of my pack, I don't have the energy to heal you, I don't even have the energy to figure out what is wrong with Faline so don't go making assumptions. It is acting like that, that will get you killed." The scalean however did react, after all, it was bound to Faline in a sense. The creature shook its body until it was parallel to the ground but higher off of it. It growled at the male that was yelling and tarnishing the Unai. It was almost a coo sounding chrip until it pulled its head back and it looked almost like it was going to spit out something that was lodged in its throat. Its stomach sucked in greatly before it threw its head back out and roared at the male. Of course it really wasn't all that close to him but the sound alone was loud. Its tongue flicked out, sensing the air around itself, testing the figurative waters. It titled its head so one of its eyes focused on Jake alone. It made no other movements though, it stood its ground beside Faline, it just reacted as to how her mind was reacting because even though she was out of it she could still hear what was going on so her thoughts and emotions were flowing through the remaining scalean. |
Jake didn't bother looking at the scalean instead his sight was focused on Rory "im not called dragon, am i? no im not called dragon, my name is Jake, just like your's is Rory and Zero's is Zero, so on, so forth" he said attempting to walked towards her but he just fell again, he couldn't tell if he was standing or not

Upon seeing the scalean settle down and lay back down from the lack of attention Rory then looked back at Jake. "I catagorize you just as you did me, it seems only fair," she said as she made no attempt to move closer to the male. It seemed like Unai were the only ones that didn't take offense in being called their race so in thinking that she said, "Apparently you do not find any sort of compliment of recognition in that fact." She didn't apologize though, she wouldn't because in doing so she felt that she would have insulted his kind.

Jake was getting angry but weaker "well technically who-ever annoyed your sister is to blame for this fight" he said calming down "look, im sorry for killing that scalean and insulting your kind, look Rory im sorry, ok? really sorry" he said looking into her eyes "before i die i want to know if you accept my apology"

Chris yawned and stretched as he woke up, he shook his fur out and looked around for Rory, he found her standing a few feet away. He walked over to her licked her cheek before he shifted into a more human like form. “Hey, love, sorry about that.” he said to her as he wrapped his arms around her med-section, pulling her closer to him, he rested well, what would have been his chin if he was human onto her shoulder. He then turned his attention Jake, taking in the state he was in, he glanced at Faline and took in the state that the scalean was in also. “Can‘t Lyna just heal him?” he asked Rory, he knew that the two of them had a healing power class together, so maybe she could save or heal Jake and everything will be fine.

Rory nodded as she leaned back into his furry body. She wasn't really thrown off by it in the least, it may have had something to do with the fact that she wasn't human but she didn't find Chris' current form disturbing in the least. "Yes, she could given she had the strength too," she replied. Her statement wasn't meant to be one of insult but more of one of thought. She knew how Lyna could get, just like Rory, it seemed that the two would tire themselves out while healing and she wasn't sure how much the girl in question had already done.

"Well from what i know she hasn't healed anyone yet. Maybe some animals but not any humans." Chris whispered into her ear as he held her closer to him, his ear twitched towards what Akina said, he sighed heavily. "Akina, is right. We should move from this spot, we have been here to long and i can smell something comming towards us or it is already around us." he said loud enough for everyone to hear him, his fur was standing on end, it was more of a warning system that he had. He tightened his grip on Rory, growling lowly at something that was there yet not there.

Rory could feel it, whatever it was, but not as well as Faline would have and even in the state she was the scalean was getting even more defensive, its head whipping around trying to locate the danger. "We can't just leave my sister," she said almost shocked at what Chris had said. "Not after you, you, wait, what did you do to her?" She pulled away abruptly at this, her eyes narrowing slightly. She knew that the two hated each other but she didn't know what he had done to her exactly. For all she knew her sister could slowly be dying and no one knew.
