Nellie sat outside the shop and rested from her running. Todd sighed,"I want my memories first. Maybe then after that. Why?" He looked at her confused. |
"Well... I sort of have liked you for a long time. " She said softly, patting his shoulder." But, its understandable that you want your memories back.." She said, running her hand threw her hair and then starting to head for the door.

Todd stared at Katie. Like him? He's a killer no one can be safe in this business....,"*sigh* Well...wait is that...Nellie?" He looked out the window to see her asleep on the ground. He walked out and looked at her,"Where did you go....?" He picked her up and waited for Katie.

Katie went out with him and led him inside to Nellies room, laying her on the bed. She guessed Todd didn't have anything to say to what she said.

Todd looked at his adopted sister,"Where did she go? She didn't bring anything home...hmmm...what do you think?" He looked at Katie.
Nellie was sleeping soundly snuggling her bunny. |
"Maybe she visited someone." She said, sitting on the end of the couch and looking over at Todd."Maybe Lucy?" She asked, brushing her bangs out of her face and laying back.

Todd stared at Nellie wide eyed,"Lucy...? Why her?" He moved hair out of Nellie's face gently.

Katie sighed."Well.. I may as well go home."

Todd shook his head,"Your still sick right?" He smirked,"You can stay here. Lord knows Nellie won't mind."

"Thanks." She smiled a little."I'm gonna go to the basement and help Nellie out by using the grinder so she doesn't have to." She stood up and put out a hand."Wanna come?"

Todd nodded,"Sure why not. I don't usually go down there so this will be interesting.." He took her hand gently. He looked back at Nellie and thought Were you going to her? Was Lucy your errand? And if so...what did you say?" He looked back at Katie and led her to the basement.

Katie went over to the grinder and started to grind the the meat."So..you like Lucy?" She asked, glancing up at him before starting to drag a body to the incenerator.

Todd started adding a second lever so that the work could be down with two people. He had been meaning to do this for Nellie but never got the chance. He didn't look at Katie but said,"What do you mean by like?"

Katie sighed."I mean..do you have a fondness for her? You seem to like it when she comes and visits.."

Todd kept working and said,"I may have said this before, maybe even Nellie has told you,but I just have memories of her and then there's that memory of the girl..." He sighed. As he spoke that sentence he had a sense of sorrow in his voice.
Nellie listened through the basement door. She woke up after they shut her door. She griped her bunny in her hand. |
She eyed him."Memory? Tell me about it.."She said, looking at the flames in the incinerator.

Todd stoped working and stood still. He held up his razor and looked at it,"A girl...young...gave me all these flowers she found in a field...I was young too...wind blew through our hair...that's it. I also have memories that aren't mine. Every time I see Lucy or sometimes even Nellie I see those memories again. They are probably just dreams I had as a child." He sighed,"If I had a childhodd to dream in." he continued to work.
Nellie let one tear slide down from her dark circled eyes onto her pale face then to the floor. |
"Oh.." She said, turning away from the fire to look at him."You know... I heard a story from this boy in town about something that happened down here. . Something not very nice." She looked around."Well, nothing down here is nice..but the boy apparently worked here." She said, knowing she knew more then she should but still.

Nellie went wide-eyed ran into the room then to Todd,"I'm here! Oh you're finally adding the second lever? Good!!!" She hugged Todd tight,"Sorry I was gone so long then passed out." She smiled and kept hugging him.
Todd stared,"Yeah...where did you go?" Nellie went wide-eyed again and said,"Uuuuuhhhhhh..." Damn...,"...I forget." She giggled. Phew....safe. |
((I will be gone the whole weekend probably so...))
Katie stared at Nellie."Well.....I'm gonna go to bed." She said, running up the steps and onto the couch. |
Markus looked at his hands and remembered he hadn't cleaned up in a while. He was filthy. He reached over and poked Willie. "I need to clean up ... So what do you guys do here, to do that?" He was used to bathing in a river, or pond, with some soap.
He felt like an idiot, asking her this, but it was necessary. He cocked his head, slightly, making himself look super cute for her. |
Nellie smiled and waved,"Nighty night Katie!" She then started helping Todd with the grinder. She was happy. She got away with threatening Lucy and they believe she forgot! Now all she has to do is make sure the little SongBird doesn't come by Todd or the shop...then she can live up to her promise.
