Myrtle fixed her clothes as she walked to the tent, and stretched. She watched everyone scurry around, and smiled as she walked up to her minions, and stretched once more. She stroked the closest male minion's cheek, and smiled as he loosed up. She knew they were tense, because of the big crowd, and they were antsy. "Je sais que vous voulez tous de se précipiter là-bas, sans un spectacle, mais nous voulons accomplir. Il fait tout pour .. intéressants."(I know you all want to rush out there, without a show, but we want to perform. It makes everything so..Interesting.) she giggled, and flipped her hair. "Vous me suivre, non?"(You will follow my lead, no?) Her minions bowed; a sign of agreement.

Codette raced along the worn path, a large box held out in front of her. "Oh pas, oh, non! Je serai en retard!"(Oh no, oh no! I will be late!)Codette whispered to the night sky. She carried each carnies extra costume in her box, the tailor in the village, had taken he's sweet time, and had attempted to make conversation with her. "Vieil homme dérangé"(Disturbed old man) She muttered a bit angrily. If Master Van Luther and Madam Jezebell had not expected her back by now, she would have been able to enjoy the brisk evening. All of the carnies had their normal costumes, but with so many people, one could never tell when something would go wrong.
When she saw the tents, she breathed a sigh of relief, and entered the stage tent through the back way. Setting the box down for a moment, she let her pin-straight red hair out of it's bun, to fall flat against her back. She opened the box, and started laying everyones costume in their dressing area. In case of an accident, Codette was incharge, of helping them into their extra costume, and preparing them to go back on stage as quickly as possible. |
Alucius sat down on a stool in the waiting area, after feeling Myrtle's pat on his shoulder. He was trying his best to stay calm for the show, but he was just a nervous wreck right now. He even started to fiddle around with the rose that she put in his hair. He kept going between the stool he was sitting on and the mirror right next to him. Peut-être cela devrait être cette voie. Non, qu'arrive-t-il si c'était fini ici. Non, il devrait être sur ce côté. Que côté dit que vous êtes simples? (Maybe it should be this way. No, how about if it was over here. No, it should be on this side. Which side says you're available?) He just couldn't keep himself in one spot.

Ace shifted his eyes as he heard the soft voice that made a smirk appear on his lips. He drew in one more breath of his dear cigar that he loved so dear before putting it out and turning to Strings giving her a wicked a grin. "Comme il vous plaira maître de la marionnette. Etes-vous sûr que vous êtes pour nous ce soir des petits jeux? Vous êtes encore faible je peux dire. J'ai appris de toi il ya longtemps, il ya des moments où il faut choisir leurs batailles et de congé avant votre tempérament obtient le meilleur de toi. Nous avons un spectacle à mettre et je ne sais pas pour vous mais je suis prêt à quelques têtes à rouler! Et oui, je sais que vous êtes mis en place avec le cher Lune. Mais elle pourrait être bien pire nous avons la chance, elle n'est pas. "(As you wish puppet master. Are you sure you are up for our little games tonight? You are still weak I can tell. I learned from you a long time ago, there are times when one must pick their battles and leave before your temper gets the best of you. We have a show to put on and I don't know about you but I am ready for a few heads to roll! And yes I know you are up set with dear Moon. But she could be far worse we are lucky she isn't.)He said as he ran his hand down strings side then kissed her forceful before standing.
Moon rolled her eyes as she gazed at herself in the mirror. How nice she thought as she saw the beautiful doll that stared back at her. She looked like one of the dolls her mother once used in her acts. She wandered what part she would play in her mothers act and why she had to wear such clothing instead of the cloths she had stole from her mothers closet. It wasn't fair she had to dress like a child she looked older. |

Codette made her way to Moon's room. "Comment joli vous regardez Moon. Je sais que vous êtes désolés de ressembler à une poupée, mais vous êtes aussi doux qu'un."(How lovely you look Moon. I know you hate looking like a doll, but you are as sweet as one.) Moon was the only person in the Circus that Shiver spoke freely too. She felt a protective kinship to the young girl. Codette smiled at her, and laid her spare costume on a table. "Vous devez vous sentir malaisés, mais vous reposer. Vous êtes vos parents petite fille et ils veulent seulement ce qui est le meilleur pour vous mon cher." (You must feel awkward, but relax. You are your parents little girl and they only want what is best for you my dear.)

Kendall jumped slightly when someone spoke to her, and flushed, lowering her eyes. "Oh, eh bien, c'est seulement mon premier spectacle," (Oh, well, it is only my first show) she murmured nervously, looking at her hands. Then she looked up and smiled, a pleasant enough smile, but a tad distant. "Mais vous avez raison, je ne devrais pas être nerveux." (But you are right, I should not be nervous.) She adjusted her headdress one last time, tilting it to the side a bit more, before taking a seat and crossing her legs daintily. |
Moon shifted her eyes from the mirror as she heard that voice witch made a smile appear across her lips. She giggled as she found Codette there witch made her mood better. She loved the strange girl and was happy to see she was still around. She gave a slight bow to show her respect for the girl. Codette was more than another person she was the mother Moon had always wanted and the sister. Moon looved Codette and loved her strange ways. She was off beat like Joacim and Niclas witch only made moon love her more. Normal was so boring and Codette had a strange way of always making everything right. Codette was the only reason she had made it this long when her mother sleept and left her for days months at a time. She knew Codette didn't like her name though it was very beautiful. "Je viens de parcourir ce cadre je vais jouer ce soir à la Loi sur cordes, c'est tout. Shiver vous joindre à nous? Je me sentirais mieux si vous vouliez avec nous .... ou moi. Pourquoi dois-je être traitée comme une poupée? Je suis traité différent des autres et vous même pourquoi? Je voudrais pouvoir vous Shiver . Ils diminuent à vous et à vous respecter."(I just wander what part I will play in Strings act tonight that is all. Shiver will you join us? I would feel better if you where with us....or me. Why do I have to be treated like a doll? I am treated different from the others and even you why? I wish I could be you Shiver . They lessen to you and respect you.) She said as her eyes looked back at the reflection in the mirror. She looked as beautiful as a glass doll. At times she felt like one Ace and Strings never lessened to her as they did the other members she was more of a burden to them at times it felt like. She closed her eyes as her black wings showed themselves and wrapped around her for a moment then fell to her side as she stood there her eyes open slowly as they glowed a slight red around their rims.
Ace lessen to Strings as he let out a sigh. "Vous avez tort mon cher ami. Elle n'a pas le droit d'agir de la manière qu'elle est. Je sais que vous vous sentez en laissant ce soir préforme cela aidera. Peut-être vous avez raison peut-être qu'il est temps de laisser préforme lieu de se cacher d'elle. Vous ne pouvez pas lui reprocher de vous manque elle obtient de moi Jezebell. Nous avons tous deux vous manquez lorsque vous prenez votre repos. Eh bien, nous devrions revenir à la tente, il est presque temps de montrer mon cher."(You are wrong my dear one. She has no right to act out in the manner that she is. I know you feel by letting her preform tonight it will help. Maybe you are right maybe it is time we let her preform instead of hiding her. You can't blame her for missing you she gets it from me Jezebell. We both miss you when you take your rest. Well we better get back to the tent it is almost show time my dear.) He walked to the dresser and pulled out his outfit and quickly dressed as he placed his top hat on and pulled out his whip giving Strings a devilish grin before holding out his arm for her so he could escort her to the tent. |
Codette sighed softly. " Je ne suis pas conscient de vos plans de mères. Mais en sachant des Mistress Strings, il doit à coup sûr être un spectacle spectaculaire. La Chère Moon, même si vous ne savez pas votre endroit, sait que vous serez spectaculaires. Joli et délicat." (I am not aware of your mothers plans. But knowing Mistress Stings, it is bound to be a spectacular show. Dear Moon, even if you do not know your place, know that you will be spectacular. Lovely, and delicate.) She moved to stand behind her. Shiver began to gently play with strands of Moons hair. " Évidemment je me trouverai présent peu d'amour! Je vous regarderai et acclamerai pour vous du stade de côté comme je fais toujours . Vous savez que je pars seulement furtivement dans la tente quand vous jouez." (Of course I will be there little love! I will watch you and cheer for you from side stage as I always do. You know I only sneak into the tent when you are performing.) Her eyes glittered with pride for the young girl. "Vous savez, je veux, je regrette que je ne sois pas aussi beau que vous, que je pourrais être la poupée someones. Vous êtes la Moon fortunée, avoir tant qui vous aiment. On traite chacun comme ils appartiennent dans le Cirque. Nous tous respectons et admirons et nous soignons. C'est non seulement votre père, votre mère et vous-même. Le Cirque entier est une famille. Et les Luthers sont la tête. Il a seulement du sens que vous seriez tenus dans le plus haut égard. Les autres me respectent, comme ils respectent tous les animaux de compagnie, parce que nous sommes la famille. Mais la seule raison ils m'écoutent, est parce que je répare leurs costumes. " (You know, I wish, I wish I was as beautiful as you, that I could be someones doll. You are lucky Moon, to have so many that love you. Everyone is treated as they belong in the Circus. We all respect and admire, and care for each other. It is not just your father, your mother and yourself. The entire Circus is a family. And the Luthers are the head. It only makes sense that you would be held in higher regard. The others respect me, as they respect all the pets, because we are family. But the only reason they listen to me, is because I mend their costumes.) She kissed the top of the girls head giggling. She gave her a tight but quick hug. "Bousculez la Moon, c'est presque showtime. " (Hurry Moon, it's almost showtime.) Codette gave Moon one last smile, then headed out to the main tent, to ready her position to mend costumes, or fix make-up.

Alloise Jeremiah Streun walked quietly threw the area of performers. Of course he was looking for Kendall, the Fire Swan. Lou had been awarded the title of being the woman's pet. He had not been thrilled about the price he was given for attending this Circus. Then again it was his fault. The young hazel eyed man continued to walk looking for the female still yet. He was garbed in a long sleeved black button up with the sleeves rolled. The shirt prominently displayed his collar bone tattoo, right arm skull tattoo, and left sleeve. Distressed dark wash jeans and black boots on his feet. While walking around he caught sight of the female. She was speaking with another female. "Bonsoir, Mlle," (Good Evening Miss) he said quietly. The dark haired man ran a hand threw his hair as he stood a slight bit away from her. "Je n'ai pas eu l'intention d'interrompre votre conversation. S'il vous plaît, continuer,"(I did not mean to interrupt your conversation. Please, continue.) Lou responded. He wanted to make sure that she did not feel obliged to talk to him. The man lowered his hazel eyes to the ground. He still felt so weird here being rather new. Everyone else seemed comfortable there with each other. Perhaps it would come with time. Alloise was really not sure if he cared if he ever fit in.

Gail got easily intrigued at how the young lady agreed with her and didn't seem to be shying away. Not that Gail was sadistic and mean, she was actually a rather gentle person that disliked screaming, yelling and anything loud. With a smile that was on the rather malicious side she answered the question asked of her. "Comment je ne pouvais pas être ? Je finis lancer des couteaux, s'il vous plaît une foule avec optimisme intéressante et faire que j'aime. Ne peut pas voir de raison de ne pas être.{How could I not be? I get to throw knives, please a hopefully interesting crowd and do what I love. Can't see any reason not to be.}"
While she spoke she looked up to see a rather misplaced young man which quickly sparked her curiosity. It made her wonder why was even here till he spoke to Kendall, seemed the new girl had herself a servant. A little laugh trickled out of Gail's slightly parted lips as she gave the boy a disgusted look like she was upset with him. She loved playing with peoples emotions. Made the circus quite the amusing place and she might start to enjoy it here. However now she was interested in how this pair of master and servant would interact. |
Kendall returned the woman's smile, feeling a bit more relaxed. What was she worrying about? No one could do what Kendall did better then she could, after all. |
Alloise looked back up at Kendall with a smirk on his face. He had to admit at times they could make quite an entertaining pair. His hazel eyes sparkled as he shrugged. "Ah, pido perdón. Sólo necesité el tiempo para asegurarme que parecí presentable para usted, calabaza,"(Ah, I apologize. I just needed time to make sure I looked presentable for you, pumpkin. ) He answered with the same banter though his voice soft like velvet though, he did sneer slightly at the word pumpkin. Lou being himself of course had to make everything harder than it should be. He could be a good servant and just do as she wished, but of course he could not. The man wondered if others acted as he had, but of course he never engaged in conversation with any of them long enough to find out. Lou looked to Kendall as she stood up. The woman may be his superior in age, but he surpassed her in height. He nodded at her question, but said nothing. Alloise knew that no matter what she may ask he must do anyway. His hazel eyes then looked to the other female she had been speaking with. He was not aware of her name, but knew she was the knife-thrower. Lightly Lou stepped behind Kendall as he waited to follow her where she would like to go.

Ginger wondered around the circus anxiously. It was just as dreadful as she thought, and hoped, it would be. She was getting more and more excited at the thought of being where she was. She was in a circus of killers, isn't that everybodies dream? "Par où commencer....(Where to start....)" Ginger asked herself curiously. She noticed a group of three talking amongst each other, "Peut-être qu'ils peuvent m'aider. (Maybe they could help.)" She said, running up to the group eagerly. She silently waited for them to be done with their conversation. Ginger began feeling less excited, and more nervous about talking to these people. She shrnk sheepishly, about to walk away . |
Coming out of her crouch to stand, Leone stretched her arms above her head. Her right hand clasped her left wrist as she pulled further into the stretch. A sort of satisfied growl sounded from her throat, her eyes closed as she enjoyed the motion. Releasing her hold on herself and opening her eyes to looked about herself to see what was going on. It seemed that it was taking longer then she had anticipated to start the show. She was beginning to grow restless and hungry by the minute, a combination that never seemed to be a wise one when it came to her.
"Avec optimisme bientôt, oui mon aime?" ("Hopefully soon, yes my loves?") She glanced at her feline companions and asked the question softly. She was tempted to see what the others were up to since she was sure she would soon start pacing. "Je suppose que nous devrions juste être patients et attendre." ("I guess we should just be patient and wait.") She mumbled finally picking a spot against a crate with her arms folded. |
Isadora sighed as she looked around. What was taking so long? The tent was filling up quickly and the audience members were starting to get a little impatient. Letting go of the net, Isadora left to go find Alucius. She wandered until she found him at the vanity he used. Walking up to the man, Isadora bowed slightly. "Maître Alucius, serez-vous prêt à commencer bientôt? Les sièges sont tous pleins et le groupe commence à s'impatienter."(Master Alucius, will you be ready to start soon? The seats are all full and the group begin to grow impatient.)

Alucius paces the room as he waits for the show to start. He looks and sees Isadora come running at him. He looks at her like she missed a queue. She then starts to tell him of the audience. Bad idea. He starts to pace some more. "J'attends Kendall de commencer le spectacle. Elle est en haut première. Je ne continue pas jusqu'à directement avant Ace." (I'm waiting for Kendall to start the show. She's up first. I don't go on until right before Ace.) Alucius looks around and sees Kendall. He starts to walk over to her. "Kendall, quand est le commencement de spectacle? Vous êtes en haut premiers." (Kendall, when is the show starting? You're up first.)

Isadora immediately began to regret her choice of words. It was clear that Alucius was nervous enough as it was, and telling him that the gathered group was getting impatient was something he wouldn't want to hear. Before she could apologise, Alucius had headed off toward another of the performers. Isadora followed the male and stopped just short him and the other performer, the one he had called Kendall. She noticed a new face next to the woman and then remembered that Kendall had a pet of her own. Isadora had no idea who the guy was since she had never really seen him or spoken to him before. She remained quiet, patiently waiting to find out some kind of information about when the show would actually start.

Codette watched the performers, and a few pets, gather. She waited, slightly impatiently for the circus to start. She always felt this wonderous shiver of belonging, when the entire circus played their role. But mostly she couldn't wait to see Madam String's presentation with Moon. "oh Moon, vous serez magnifiques ce soir. Je le sais." (oh Moon, you will be magnificent tonight. I know it.) A slight chill, sent shivers through her body, but she didn't mind. Thats why she was called Shiver. The rippling of her skin gave her a slight flash of excietment. She walked towards the group and noticed Isadora standing just to the side. "bonjour Isadora. Faites vous savez où Ace est. L'audience devient agitée. Et s'ils sont agités ils ne jouent pas aussi..."(hello Isadora. Do you know where Ace is. The audience is getting restless. And if they are restless they don't play as well...) she asked, her voice soft. She was beginning to become concerned. If the Ring Master did not show up, the show could not start.

Isadora blinked, turning her attention to Codette. Isadora smiled and looked around. The carnies had started to gather around now. "Je ne l'ai pas vu depuis ce matin. Je suppose qu'il est avec Maîtress Jezeb--" (I haven't seen him since this morning. I would assume he is with Mistress Jezebe--) Isadora stopped speaking once she heard Jezebell's voice. If anything, she had learned from this morning's activities that it was wise to not ignore Jezebell.
A small rush of excitement ran through her at the mention of having her power. She loved the feeling of being in control, even if it was only for a short while. The powers weren't earth shattering, only enough to keep their guests there in the tent at all times. Isadora smiled slightly. Jezebell had used her other name. It wasn't anything special, but she loved being called Isa. She stepped forward, standing before the dark haired woman with her head bowed down slightly. "Maîtress Jezebell." (Mistress Jezebell.) |
It honestly surprised Gail at the offer she received, however she knew her answer right when it was asked of her. "Je devrai décliner votre offre. Votre performance commencera bientôt et j'ai vu le stade plusieurs fois. {I will have to decline your offer. Your performance will begin soon and I have seen the stage many times.}" Gail spoke in a slightly amused tone. The two of them had amused her but there were things that needed to be done and she did not want to get in the way of them.
With the arrival of the new girl Gale let out a little demented laugh. People were quite entertaining around her. Made her want to leave her room more often. The girl seemed excited at first and he watched it cascade into nervousness with eyes alight in amusement. "Puis-je vous aider ?{May I help you?}" she asked with a musical tone to her voice. Only one thing bothered her the girl seemed eerily familiar and she couldn't help but feel a strong attachment towards her. Honestly it freaked Gail out to the point she felt like trying to find the nearest exit. She stayed where she was though, a strong desire to get an answer to her feelings was present and not fading. |

"Si vous insistez. Je vous souhaite le meilleur de chance, adieu." (If you insist. I wish you the best of luck, farewell.) She turned to Lou, a coy, tauntingly sweet smile dancing on her lips. "Il ressemble son juste vous et moi, mon bonbon," (It looks like its just you and me, my sweet.) she said mockingly, her eyes watching him almost quizically. She lifted one hand and gently patted his cheek, then turned on her heel and took a few steps forward, placing her hands on her hips. |
