Some of his memories would most likely come with his powers especially the ones on how to use the powers. That would kinda be important but if we decide he did not pick well we will strip you of the powers and memories leaving you intact...I hope."

"If 'you' decide?" Jared got up, and each flame in the building started dancing, the earth shifted slightly underneath their feet, and the air felt like icicles to them. Gemini crossed her arms. "Dracula wasn't nearly as crazy as he let everyone think. "Crazy like a fox" as they say. Anyway, in the end he managed to find a cure for said insanity, so he was quite lucid." She said.

Todd was playing with the talisman his father had given him. "Daddy, hungry." He said.

"Yes well...We had already picked someone out as a council but no Dracula as usual doesn't listen to us." Derek snorted "Lets just get his over with."

"Derek's right." Clara stepped forward "You're trial period begins know there will be test that you must pass some of them you will catch others you will not and if you fail we will strip you of Dracula's powers and you will go back to being a normal vampire."

"Are children will stay here in the castle to keep a close eye on both of you and we will not be far off." William said these were clearly vampires who were use to being listened to and respected.

Gemini snorted, and her eyes narrowed. "You know, council or not, you still need to respect us, especially as you are technically guests here. Finx and Jared especially deserve better treatment, since this is their home. It's common courtesy." She said. "And your presence had better not have any negative influence on my son." She added, her tone changing to one of dangerous mother wolf.

"You forget that we're still Vampire Nobility. Even your Council has never stood against the full might of the Starr and Yoshimitsue clan's. "he said. "We have a better claim to the throne then your Council. Hell, finx has a better claim, as she is Dracula's living heir. Though Finx scare's the Night-light's out of me, she is a smart women. She would make a good leader. "he said. Markus then picked up his son. "Want to go hunting with daddy, little man?" he asked.

"I promised Dracula I would protect his throne. You'd have to get his power's from my dead corpse. "He said, obviously agitated about this intrusion. "If you don't mind, I'd like to speak to my Fiancee alone. We have some planning to do, which you are interrupting. "He said.

Gemini moved closer to Markus, positioning herself between him and the council to protect Todd. "What's going on?" She asked.

"I really hate when he takes over my body." Clara scowled "I'm sorry for how I acted he just get annoyed that royalty have forgotten that ever top vampire is his child. I am a Queen, William is of a King, Derek is a prince but with his father missing he is king. You're ancestors were are lord first chosen children. We soon branched out but as you may know humans found out about us and a war started in the fight are lord was almost killed but thanks to his children he survived and we made the choice to hide him away and as his first child Dracula took his place." Clara made sure they were paying attention "Over the years many vampires have forgotten that every royal family exists because of are lord. We had it planned that Dracula's person to take over for him would look like him so there would be less questions from the vampire world."

Gemini inclined her head. "I was unaware that there was another before Dracula. The stories I was told...some said that Dracula was created by the devil himself. I never knew what to think of those." She said curiously.

Todd pouted. "Daddy...hungry..." He said.

"Yes well that was the story." Clara said with a sigh "You see how hard this is for us. You believe what we wanted but know that we need you to think another way its like asking a brick wall to move." she kneeled before jared "Please take are test! Gemini turned to Jared. "I know this is gonna sound crazy, but I think you should go through with it. After all, we already know you're qualified. What's the harm in proving it?"

"I want you to do it." Finx's voice sounded more shaky then normal and she wouldn't look at anyone.

Gemini looked at Finx, a worried expression on her face.

Even Todd noticed Finx's behavior. Displaying a power they had not previously known about, he levitated himself down from his father's shoulders and toddled over to Finx. He hugged her leg and smiled up at her. "Auntie okay? Love Auntie."

Finx smiled nervously at Todd and lifted him up "I'm alright Todd." she smiled

"You felt him to didn't you?" Clara asked

"Yeah." Finx took a shaky breath. "I felt his power."

Markus looked absolutly afraid. He Remembered the power his family had, thanks to the Demon. It was a Hereditary trait amongst his family. Would Todd suffer the same fate as his family did? Worse, what if Markus's demon, and Gemini's Demon, Aria, merged. That would bring Catastrophe on a Species-Wide Scale.

Jared took Finx's hand, looking worried about his Nefew, and Wife-to-be. He then looked at the Group, keeping his seething rage kept in. As stated before, the Demon of the Yoshimitsue family was Hereditary. "Fine.......If it will protect the women I care about, I will take this test........But so help me, if someone touches one hair on her head!-"Jared stopped, by bashing himself in the head with his palm. "Ergh......Let's just get this over with.

Gemini glanced at Markus. "What's wrong?" She whispered, wondering what he was worrying about now.

Todd smiled brightly at Finx and hugged her. "Auntie. My Auntie."

Finx squeezed Todd then tickled his tummy. "You really are cute you know that."

Clara beamed "I'm so glad you want to do this Jared." she turned to her fellow council members "This boy wish's to take the test to become are father ultimate protector do you the council agree to give him this test and judge him fairly."

"Jared Yoshimitsue do you promise to greet these test with honor? Do you promise to keep are lord fathers existence a secret even if you should fail?" Derek asked stepping forward

"I shall, but know this. If harm comes to me, My family, or my Wife-to-be, I shall defend them to my death. "he said. He would play along, act like a puppet......for now.

Markus looked at her, then quietly explained his fear's, making sure Noone else heard them.
