Gemini shrugged. "Cats typically tend to chase mice. She'd probably hungry." She said. She was proved right moments later when the cat showed up, eating the mouse. "Ugh...well, maybe that's how humans feel when they see us feeding. Anyway, let's get going. Hey, those daggers...does everyone in your family get a pair like that?"

"It's a tradition. It's been that way since Lord Maxius, the Assassin of the Volkhair clan, broke off and joined with us, about 2300 years ago. They're symbolic."he said

The cat headed off and started to slip threw the forest as the night dragged on they started going up hill. The cat bounded from rock to rock as they climbed higher.

Gemini nodded, not saying anything. She stayed quiet throughout the whole journey, seeming to be thinking about something.

"Something the matter Gemini? You're awfully quiet"he said, following the cat.

"Hm? Oh, no, I'm fine. I've just been thinking a lot." Gemini replied, still looking like her mind was miles away. "I rather overreacted when Chukichi-sama tried to give Todd a pair of those daggers. I just couldn't imagine my baby wielding anything so dangerous...but I've since realized that there are worse things to see. He already has powers that are dangerous, and dangerous people after him...perhaps he would be safer with the daggers. Not to mention, he is officially a man of your family now...I think, when we return, I'll ask Chukichi-sama to forgive my reaction and give Todd his birthright. I'll have to explain what it means to Todd, since he's so sensitive, but I think it's time."

"The Daggers are a Representation of the Path's we take. The ruby, gold, and obsidian dagger represent vengeful fury, strength, honor, and Justice. The sapphire, silver, and jade dagger represent Deep magical powers, Intellect, Determination, and Mercy. "he said, looking around for the cat. "The Daggers represent, in my Grandfather's words, Peace and War. They've become Symbolic to our culture. "he said. "I doubt he'd stay mad, if mad at all. You don't know our way's, like we don't know yours. Not something to cry over. "He said, looking at her with a smile, and offering her a hand to help.

Though she didn't need it, she took the hand he offered to help. "Thank you. I'm sure that things like this will continue to happen as we learn each other's cultures, but I hope we can work it out as we have with this." She said.

The cat waited for them at the top of the mountain tailing twitching as it watched them.

"Mhm, hope we can, Fox girl ."He said, climbing next to the cat. "Okay, Kitty, where too?" he asked.

Gemini glanced at him. Fox girl? She shook her head and looked to the cat, as if asking where they needed to go.

The cat walked all the way to the top and then started down the other side going towards a small town on the other side.

Jared slid down, following the cat. He held his hand up, it acting as a Torch. It was pretty dark.

Gemini hopped nimbly down after them, narrowing her eyes to see better. "A town, all the way out here? No wonder Finx ran this way. I bet it's not even on any maps..."

As they got closer they could tell it was a ghost town with run down buildings and bones from what they hoped was animals. In the middle stood the only intact building a mansion. The cat leapt onto the porch and waited for them to open the door.

Jared looked at the House. "Look at this place.....we used to own a villa like this, back when we held holding's in the Homeland. However, when we went to war with the Starr's, we lost them to the Satoshi.....We'll destroy them. "he said, to no-one in particular, and opened the door.

Gemini nodded. "It's a sad place, certainly..." She said, following him.

The cat lead the way past a couple coffins one stone, one metal, and one with pink wood and roses. There where a couple more one baby blue, one gray and the other a simple black wood. The cat jumped onto the black one and vanished with a mew.

Jared started absorbing fire in his hand. "Gemini, I know you can control fire, i saw it in the City. I'll need your helping opening these."he said.

Gemini nodded, calling up a ball of fire in her hand. "Just hold on a second. The cat just sat on that one and disappeared..." She said, moving to the black one and placing her un-fiery hand on top of it.

The cat appeared and nudged her hand. "Open it." she mewed out.

Gemini gasped slightly. "The cat talked...and somehow I'm not as surprised as I should be." She said, before pushing the lid up off the coffin.

Finx lay in the coffin asleep cushioned by red lining and a red pillow. She had on a simple black dress.

"You're in a world with vampires, Dragons, werewolves, and crazy people. Should anything surprise you?"he asked, kneeling down by finx. "Horrible Cliche, but let's pray it works....."he said, moving hair out of her face, and kissing her.

Finx's eyes flickered open she gripped his neck tightly and pulled him away. "You could have just shaken me you know." she glared then kissed him releasing his throat pulling him closer to her.
