Felix noticed Terra also head towards the nurses office, and sighed... He would go there, but just to get out of class for a few hours... Fortunately Terra must have left before he got there, so it was all good. He walked in there, and got out of class for a few hours. After third hour, he left for lunch. The nurse let him go, and he walked into the cafiteria. There was no buzz of excitment like there was a few months previous. Nothing at all. He could talk to the puppets, quietly of course, in a corner, without anyone caring. I've lost my whole family. Talking to myself would seem sane, not crazy at all. He noticed one of the people from one of his later hours (world history), California. She sat by herself too. She lost someone too. "My condolences," He said to her. |
Takayumi ran back into the forest to get her backpack and change out of disguise. She saw headlights coming from the parking lot of the school. Keyosi must be back from the hospital. She jumped out of the tree and ran toward her brother's car. She opened the door, threw her backpack in the back seat, and climbed in. "What time is it? Do you think dad is going to be mad again?"
Keyosi looked at the clock on his radio. "I fear if he's up, we are in deep trouble." He pulled out of the parking lot and drove in the direction of home. "I saw that this one was worse than the others. We need to stop this guy before he brings a monster to life that no one can beat." He pulled into the stone driveway and sighed. "Well we better get in there." The two got out of the car and walked up to the front door. Keyosi opened it for his sister as she walked in before him. Their father was sitting in a chair watching tv with a beer in his left hand. He looked up at his two children and sneered. "So you've finally decided to come home. Why bother?" He stood up and set his can down on the coffee table. "You two are rarely ever here, so why bother coming home?" Takayumi threw her backpack in the closet. "Where else are we supposed to go? Sleep outside like hobos?" She pushed past him, but he grabbed her arm. "Let go of me!" Her father slapped her across the face. "I am sick of your attitude! For now on, you two will come straight home after school, and you will stay here." He let go of her arm and sat back down in his chair. Takayumi walked to her room with her fists clenched while Keyosi stayed in the livingroom to talk to their father. Keyosi walked into the school the next day with Takayumi slumping behind him with her backpack dragging on the floor. |
Terra still didn't feel top notch, but she wanted to talk with someone- anyone.. She felt distant from everyone. She examined the crowd of obsessed Aaron Nightmare fan girls and strayed away from that crowd, she looked over to see if she could spot the Nakamura family. Terra frowned and sat within fetal position and tucked her head down. Usual people that spoke with Terra crowded her, and tried finding out what was wrong. Terra wouldn't speak at all, maybe she was just sick? They knew Terra better than that, Terra usually would stay home if there was something wrong with her. And usually- Terra was around, paying attention, socializing, and whatnot. Terra waved away her friends and she realized they'd be saying a lot about her. She ignored their chat, even though they were saying very frustrating rumors. 'Did you hear? Terra had an encounter with Aaron Nightmare.. I'm just surprised that she didn't fall into a coma!' 'I know, and did you see that on her shoulder? Poor thing- She got beat up pretty bad..' |
Felix was just watching everything, not really paying attention to any one thing. Then she saw Terra again. He heard the rumors, and freaked out. She encountered him? Jesus... It's amazing she's not... like Raine... He thought...
He stood up. He decided to talk to her, try to find out if she's okay... Of course she's not okay... She has a huge cut on her shoulder, and she encountered him. He would still ask anyway. It's the good thing to do. He started walking towards her, avoiding her friends talking about her (Not behind her back, obviously, because she was right in front of them). It was kindof depressing really... "Hey, Terra," He started, "Are you okay? I heard you ran into, him... Are you hurt?" He had to make sure. She had come up to him, maybe an hour before hand... If he had stayed and talked to her, maybe she wouldn't have met him... |
Terra looked up and blushed a bit. "I- Yeah, I did, but I'm ok- it's just a scratch" She held her hand over the cut. Her gaze went away from Felix, she didn't want to lie to him, but she couldn't tell him what had really happened. "I was.. Really scared.. I really didn't know what to do- I know, I'm pathetic, because I ran" She twisted her story- She had encountered him, she DID run, but with him. She didn't have the heart to let Felix know. "Last night, it was only just a taste of what really is to come.." She looked up at him again and stood "You seem concerned, Don't let second hand words flood your mind.." She held out her hand and grasped his lightly "I'm fine.." She said with a sad tone. Terra released his hand and turned from him, though she really didn't want to. Then again she turned to him, but felt as she had before. She stumbled forward into him, and felt weak, but she pulled herself away. Terra darted off back into the halls and panted as she stopped to her locker. She rested her back onto the locker and slid down to sit on the floor. 'I shouldn't have used that much power last night, it completely drained me.. I'm not fit to be here.' Terra remembered that she had given Ivan a vile of her blood, that could be another reason of why she was just so weak. She had hoped that Felix would come looking for her, she knew she couldn't return to her home on her own, not in the condition she was in. Anyone for the least, she had hoped for to offer their help. She sat there, and slowly found herself sleeping. |
Takayumi sat down at one of the lunch tables and put her head down between her arms. How am I supposed to fight nightmares if I'm not allowed to leave the house? Do we tell him? She turned her head sideways to look up at her brother. "How are we going to do this? I don't want the others to have to do all the work."
Keyosi placed his satchel on the table beside his sister. "I don't know. We have to figure out how to get you out of the house and without dad finding out. I could create a deqor (sp? I completely forgot how to spell the word.) " He said down on the bench facing away from the table. He noticed that Felix was talking to a girl who's name escaped him. Everyone was muttering about her encounter with Aaron Nightmare. I wonder why she's still here. |
The whistle of a hall monitor had woken Terra up, he had helped her to her feet and returned her back to the cafeteria. Terra sat back near Felix, he probably thought that she was strange for running off, but she hadn't wanted anyone to know that she needed help to return home. Then again, Terra thought, if she had someone take her home, she had no idea what they would think of her. Living in the bad side of town, and squatting in an abandoned leather and latex clothing store.. She moaned out of pain, the cut on her shoulder burned, and her head was pounding. Finally she realized that the Nakamura's were around, maybe they could help? She slowly stood herself up and wobbled a few feet forward, but without enough strength, Terra completely collapsed. She was to weak this time to pick herself off of the floor, so she lied there before Takayumi and Keyoshi. [[ooc: writers block x- x its like a disease..]] |

Felix didn't think that Terra would want him to follow her, so he didn't. He sat down at a table, and waited a little, nibbling on some food. He realized that Terra soon returned to his side. "Hey, are you-" but she soon left, for the Nakamura's apparently. She didn't make it those few feet. "Shit," He said under his breath. He ran over, and looked at her. Her cut on her shoulder looked horrible. She looked exausted. Horrible. Terrible. "Hey... are you awake? Do you need to get back to where you live?" I asked her. Honestly i didn't give a shit about school, but i wanted to please my parents, and set an example for the siblings. Since neither were there at home, it didn't matter anymore. I just went because i didn't have anything better to do.... She really needed to get back, anyways... |
Terra gazed up at Felix and frowned, "I'm sorry.." She whined and but her forehead onto the ground. Terra whimpered and looked back up at Felix "Y-yeah, take me home.. I honestly don't care about what people have to say" She struggled to push herself from the ground and stand, but leaned onto Felix.
"Ferris and Brahms.. Thats where I live.." She groaned and felt her own weight pulling her down, but she refused to stumble. She realized that she still had her hair accessory within her hair, and she yanked it out, stuffing it in her bag. Terra didn't want to speak as she felt herself drained, she needed rest until the night. But she wondered, would Felix watch over her? The thought constantly bothered her, for one, he had to bring her in the bad part of the town, and two, she was in terrible shape. |
Felix looked concerned at her, "Are you sure you want to go back there, at that part of town? It's pretty bad... I have like 9 empty rooms at my house... You could take one if you want. Plus it's a mile closer, and I don't know if you could make it that far...Wait... Ferris and Brahms... isn't that an abandoned shop? I'm not taking you there. I'm taking you home." He said to her. There was no way she would be able to make it that far.
She leaning on me was strangly comfterble. Odd. "Let's go to the nurses office... People are looking..." I said to her. And that was true... A lot of people WERE looking... it felt odd. Since this was high school, there were going to be at least a million rumors by tomarrow... "Let's go..." I said to her. |
Terra nodded, resisting herself to ask him to carry her. But she went along with him to the nurse's office, two stops in one day- what would she think? Terra whimpered and felt that she was a burden on Felix, she hated that feeling. Arriving to the Nurse, Terra wanted to speak with her alone. After a few moments it was clear, that the nurse wanted her under supervision. She also knew, that because Terra didn't have anyone, she was going to ask Felix.
Terra walked out of the Nurse's office and, the nurse followed behind her. She handed him a note reading 'She needs to be watched carefully, and the bandages need to be changed early morning, and at 6pm.' Terra grumbled to herself, to be babysat by her crush, really was going to bother her- not only that; but by night she needed to assist Aaron Nightmare.. Terra raised her lip and glared angrily at the people talking- knowing where she came from, they hadn't wanted to get her mad. But with her so damaged, they thought they had the advantage, she would remember who would be the ones making rumors.. "Lets go home.." She whispered as she stumbled forward. |
Felix sighed in relief when he heard those words. He had begun to worry about her. Dammit Felix, you like her... This was true. He's begun to feel more and more about her. He was downright worried about her when she fell... He then hugged her tightly, but was careful to avoid touching her injured arm. He wasn't sure why he did it... maybe it was because she was safe. She would be under his protection.
"Do you want me to carry you out?" He asked her. He didn't think she would be able to make it to his van. He had a van, but he usually kept it at the school in his parking place because he never used it... he just had it incase he needed it... It was within walking distance of home so it wasn't ever a big deal. "Never mind, you're going to say no," He said, while lifting her up. She was light. He carried her to the van, and set her down. "Here, get in," he said to her, while opening the door for her. He walked around to the other side, and got in. He then put the keys into the ignition. "To home..." he murmered. "So Terra, what exactly happened to your arm," He asked, conversationally. If she didn't say, he wouldn't press. He didn't want to hurt her anymore than she was. |
Terra strapped the buckle and looked over at him "Fought with the nightmares.." She whispered and looked down in shame, maybe she could make it sound convincing. "There were puffballs; not really so frightening- but.. There bite was" She grabbed her shoulder and whined.
Terra felt her face flush; thinking about going home? She felt awkward about it, though- for once she wouldn't have to sleep on a dusty hard spring mattress. She looked back over to him and frowned lightly "Why are you so concerned? I mean, before- you would barely speak with me when I was.. Tutoring Raine.." She stopped herself not wanting to continue. Terra felt bad and looked away "I don't know what I'm saying.. I think it's because I'm tired.." She whispered |
He winced when she mentioned Raine, but tried to hid it. "Honestly, I don't know. I didn't pay attention to half the things I do now... I was stupid," He said. "I don't know... I think it's because, when... I'm with you, I'm someone else... Someone more like myself... I don't know... I just met you though... Or remet you I guess..."
Soon, we made it to his house. "Here we are... You were here just yesterday... I'm sorry for the mess though..." He said. He got out of the van, and went to the other side. He opened the door for her, and lifted her up. He walked up to the door, and opened it up. He walked to his couch, and set her down. "This is my house. Welcome I guess," He said to her. "There isn't much here, but enjoy." |
Terra listened to him, and as he said that being with her, made him feel like himself- made her choke. She turned her cheek and wiped the tear before it fell far enough to see. Terra gulped and smiled "Well, since I'll be out of school for a few days- I'll clean up for you.." She said softly.
One thing Terra had a problem with; was a cluttered area. Which is why, when she was tutoring Raine, the both of them would tidy up the place. She sighed as she lied back "You should head back to school, I just need to rest.. I'll be ok" Terra didn't want him to worry to much about her, but it had already seemed to late. Terra ached her body and snuggled with a pillow that was beside her. She groaned and whimpered; she felt strange being there, she wasn't use to it. Terra wondered to herself, was Felix going to return to school- or would he rather stay home doing nothing but watching over someone sleeping.. |
He sighed. He expected her to say such things. Not a chance he was leaving, but it was a blow to him that she didn't want him there. He sat down on a chair, nearbye, and watched her. "You know, there isn't a chance in hell I'm leaving you here alone. You might've gotten away from a nightmare once, but they may come looking for you. I'll stay here. I'll protect you," He said to her. He didn't know if she was even still awake.
This wouldn't be a bad thing at all. He enjoys being around her, no matter if she was asleep or not. It wouldn't matter to him. "It'll never matter..." he murmered. |
Terra felt her heart warm, and she turned and looked over to him and smiled. First time in a long time that she had smiled for real. "No ones really been this hospitable to me, hell.." She paused and stared at the floor "No ones been kind to me period- I might be a socialite; but a lot of people just talk with me to spread something.." She sighed as she rolled onto her back and stared at the ceiling.
"Felix, there's something I want to tell you.." She whispered, but she hadn't realized what she was saying. Terra was half asleep as she was speaking to him.. She turned her back towards him and yawned "I really like you.." Terra dozed off to sleep, or maybe she was already asleep and just dreaming. But- she knew that it wasn't. |
Felix almost jumped up and did one of those cheesy arm pumps from the movies. He didn't though because that wouldn't help his image. He soon realized that she was asleep now. He smiled, and said, "I really like you too," under his breath. He was the happiest he's been since before... He came... He darkened a little, and thought back to that time, which seemed so long ago. He soon nodded off.
Raine, with her elegante blonde hair, sat in a chair again. There were no visible bonds over her, but she still couldn't move. She was in a white room, with no windows, or doors. Nothing could get in or out. Somehow, she still cast a shadow. The shadow grew, bit by bit into the room. Soon it consumed it. It started draining her of energy. It would kill her for good. Felix, someone was watching this without being in the room. He couldn't move either. He tried reaching her, but couldn't. Soon he realized there was something he could do. He put up a telekinetic force field over her. the darkness couldn't reach her. She was alive. He woke up, panting... (I'm in for the night... Goodnight yall) |

Terra woke feeling her shoulder burn, she sat up and realized that it was still daylight. She peeked over to see Felix and smiled, no one was ever this kind to her, but it was bad- only because by night she had to defend Ivan. Terra didn't know what she could do to leave, even though- she really didn't want to. She rolled over onto her back, she really couldn't rest comfortably. "Felix?" She questioned.. "I can't sleep.." She whispered and sat up, something was making her feeling uneasy. "I don't know, your here- but I still feel alone" She whined; only because she felt the truth eating away at her. She pulled her feet up on the couch and hugged her knees, and looked up at him "Will you sit with me, please.." |

Felix, who was better by this point smiled back, but then frowned when he realized something was upsetting her. "Of course I will," he said, moving over by her. "What is it? Are you okay?" He asked her, "What do you want me to do to make you feel... un... lonely?" He asked, trying to find the right words, not entirely succeeding... He began to worry... I just found you, please don't go... he thought, to himself. He had the feeling she would be leaving him for some reason... |

Terra cuddled close by him and had his arm wrapped lightly around her shoulder. "There's just something inside.. That I want to tell you, but.. I'm afraid.. I don't want to hurt anyone" She felt her throat closing, and her eyes began to water. "Felix, I've done something wrong.. But there isn't a way I could take it back.." The tears in Terra's eyes began to roll down her cheeks. "I have.. Certain powers.." Terra began to talk quietly "And because of that, it made scientists very curious.. I was a like a little lab rat they would experiment on, because they wanted to know if they could reconstruct another being; just like me.." Her voice became more serious "It was during a test, when they hadn't fully sedated me, I escaped- but I killed them to get away.." She felt the regret, even though she couldn't change what happened years ago. Terra felt her head fall low "the reason I feel alone, is because.. I wouldn't expect anyone to accept someone like me- sometimes.. I convince myself that maybe I'm just a nightmare that manifested a soul.." Terra admitted how she felt, but not that she had joined sides with Aaron Nightmare. |
Takayumi sighed as she sat up. She turned around to sit the same way as her brother. She mainly kept to herself ever since her little brother was put into a coma. She went into a deep depression and hasn't exactly returned from it. Her friends left her, her school work was getting behind, and her mother got sick and died. They couldn't afford the bills from the funeral and the hospital, so they had to move to the trailer park. She used to have a job to help pay for everything, but with fighting nightmares and whatnot, she was rarely on time and had to call off so much.
Keyosi, however, still had his job. He took photos and videos of the fights and took them to publishers and media stations without ever revealing the identity of anyone, but during the day, he worked at a fast food restaurant. He used the money from the pictures and tapes for the team's gadgets, and the money from his day job to help pay the bills. Their dad worked on construction sites, but was an alcohol ever since the death of their mother. He would come home late, or what might be late if the two teenagers didn't come home even later. He always sat on his chair watching tv and drinking beer. Occassionally he would have something to eat, but that was rare. They didn't have much food, but they got through with what they did have. Until Jazuchu woke up from his coma, and all the bills were paid, they couldn't afford much of anything. It's been rough on everyone, but things seem to keep getting worse. No matter how many battles the team fought, no one has ever seen the nightmare that was stolen from Jaz's head. Takayumi stood up and grabbed her backpack. "I'm out of here." |
She was serious. Not kidding. He smiled all the same, "I'll accept you. No matter what happens, I'll accept you," and Felix meant it. He had feelings for her, despite he hardly knew her. You lost A voice inside him thought. It was the part of him that despised all living things.
"I know what you're going through. I know you may not believe me, but I do. I'm just like you. And you're not a nightmare," He said to her, "because you're no nightmare I could ever think of. Maybe a great dream, but that's the worst you could be. A happy place." He thought back to Raine's nightmare, the darkness. He couldn't possibly kill, or even injure that mammoth. He doesn't even know where it is. Where are you... he thought. All of a sudden, he thought of his puppets. He couldn't sever the lines between the puppets and him, or who knew what could happen... He forgot them, and they may start talking any minute... shit he thought.. |
Terra smiled and cuddled against him "Thank you.." She whispered, then looked up at the clock "It's 4th period, lunch just finished" She sighed, thinking that she should have tried sticking through the day. Terra felt something within her that made her want to tell him at least one of her powers. 'I hope this is a good idea..'
"Felix.. For me to heal- I need blood from the living.." Her voice trailed, the way she put it made her sound like a vampire.. "I mean, not to drink- the blood from another, needs to soak onto the wound.. That blood will be absorbed and heal the putrefied flesh.." She paused, maybe she shouldn't say anymore; maybe it was to much of a hint that she's also a necromancer. "My blood, can heal others- but it needs to be willingly given; and then I myself can close the wound by purifying it.." Terra realized that maybe it would be best for him to know- She removed the bandage from her shoulder, revealing that the cut was getting worse. "If it isn't mended, then it continues to putrefy; and later I would either die from the infection, or.." Terra shuttered "my skin completely deteriorates and my muscle tissue would be exposed.." She felt even more of a freak at this point. |
He felt shocked. He realized what she was talking about. But then, he smiled again. "Here, if you need blood for that, take mine. I don't need it as much as you do," He said to her. He hoped that would convince her he would accept her. He realized to convince her, he would have to tell her one of his powers. "Well, I'm kindof creepy too, anyways... I talk to dolls. Control them. Some of them are scary as hell, even to me... the others are just here because I need to talk to something..." He pulled out his backpack, from hehind him. He pulled out Tigger, and Tigger said, "Hiya, I'm a Tigger! The only Tigger of them all! I can bounce, unlike other Tigers... That's why I'm a Tigger!"
Tigger then got down, and started bouncing. Felix looked pained, "Imagine if he got out at school," He said to her. That almost happened today... |
