Terra laughed and patted the doll's head "He's adorable" She said quietly, and then looked up at him "Your sure, you want me to use your blood?" She felt odd for a moment, and pulled her hair piece from out of her bag, then removed the dagger from it. "Ohh.. I don't wanna hurt you" Terra hesitated and but the blade down..
She then took a look at her shoulder, she never let it fester this much. "I'm sorry!" She gently cut the palm of his hand, and raised his hand above her shoulder. As the blood dripped the cut glowed crimson and closed; all that remained was a small scar. "Here" She cut her own palm and then let her blood mix with his- she watched as his wound closed. Terra then licked her cut- and it too healed. "Y'know.. Your the first person I've actually exposed myself to." She blushed, and then looked over to Tigger. She thought about her things back at Leather & Latex Apparel. She needed some clothes at least- but she didn't want Felix to get them, especially with the files and paperwork she's left scattered on the floor. Eclaire was at home, since she didn't feel like going to school, she went to the cafe again, and ate a banana split. It was big, and so was her appetite, so she knew she would finish it. Eclaire was eating it rather slowly. This was because she was listening to the whispers around her. Even though they were rumors, they were sadly true. Sighing as she took another scoop and chewed on the banana, she thought about the plan tonight. Would Aaron nightmare strike again? Not likely tomorrow, another night maybe because of her.
She bit on her spoon too hard, and actually bit through it, and swallowed it, making the other customers freak out. She was still using it though. Everyone stared at her, wondering what she would do next. [there's my post, i'll get ivan's down after dinner, im starving!] |

Felix laughed out loud. "Haha it's fine! It's just a cut!" He said. When she cut him he tried hard not to wince. It did sting a little... And his arm that was around her neck did tense a little. The exposition part made me blink... "Really? A girl like you, never has before?" I asked her. "Odd, because you are very beautiful, and that just seems unlikely..." "By the way, do you need anything from 'home'?" He asked, "because, you don't have anything here, besides those clothes. Do you want me to go and get them?" There would be rumors if she stayed here, and wore the same things tomarrow. Rumors... He really hated rumors. |
Takayumi walked over to the glass doors that lead out of the cafeteria and into outside world. She knew her father would be called for her mysterious absence, but she didn't care. She had questions she needed to ask someone, and if the team could discover who Aaron Nightmare was, they could take him down during the day rather than during the night when his nightmares would be fighting for him. She looked around to see if anyone was watching what she was doing. When everyone seemed to be preoccupied with something else, she slipped through the door and walked around the side of the building and down the main road.
Now if only she knew the identity of the girl she was meaning to ask. She didn't know who she was. She couldn't even guess. She didn't know who anyone of the team was. She guessed they were all teens or young adults, but she couldn't tell for sure. Maybe she would have to wait until night to ask her question. |
Terra shivered as he asked to retrieve places from where she was living, she shook her head and looked away "I don't want you going into an area like that, the people there, are very brutal.." She looked up at him for the moment and sighed.
"You say I'm beautiful- I say I'm strange.." She muttered under her breath. Terra scooted down and rested at the other side of the couch "Look, I'll get my things after resting. I promise I'll be alright- I know the people; and I know the surroundings a hell of a lot better then you do.." She said as she curled up looking over at Felix. "You've got a life, don't waste it sitting here, because you know when you return I'll still be in the same place." She smiled lightly and snuggled with a pillow "Could you gimme a blanket?" Terra shivered constantly- something in the air? She looked over at him and reminded him one more time "after you get me a blanket- like I said, go out; you probably have something to do, dont put it off just because of me" Again she smiled sweetly and closed her eyes to rest. California went to her classes, not paying much attention in them. Her mind was too preoccupied with her mission at hand. She hated not knowing the real identities of the others in the group, she wasn't able to talk to anyone what she was feeling or what needed to be done. The night was too short. "Ahh, I just need to talk to someone about this!" she cried, standing by her locker after her last class. She picked up her ND, which she had left in her locker during the day and began playing with it. She figured that everyone at school would just think that it was her cell phone she was messing with, not a device that she used to hunt down nightmares at night.

Takayumi flipped open her ND and checked the time. It was almost 3:30. "Well I might aswell head back to school. I'll just have to find a way of getting out tonight to talk to her." She sighed as she turned around and walked back the way she came. I wonder if we should tell father. He probably wouldn't understand.
Keyosi walked down the hall, noticing that California was standing at her locker. "Hello, Cali. What are you doing out of class?" |
California looked at Keyosi and quickly put on a smile. She hadn't heard him approach her. "Oh, I was just checking my phone for a message from my older sister about my little sister," she lied, holding up the ND to show him. Rules about cell phones had changed since the onset of comas in younger children. Too many students were getting in trouble for trying to check up on them, so the school had changed policies. It made for an easy lie and explanation of what she was doing out of class.

Keyosi looked at the phone. It looked oddly familiar. Similar to the ones he had turned into NDs. He looked up at the girl. "You're sister is in the hospital too?" Many students had siblings, cousin, or nieces and nephews at the hospital with comas. Most came out of them after a while, others never did, some before they even arrived to the hospital. No one could predict who was coming out and who was going in.
He looked at the phone again. "Where did you get that? I've seen a few just like it." I wonder if she's one of the team. He didn't care if people knew he was their little inventor as long as Aaron Nightmare or his followers didn't find out. |
California looked at him. "Yes, she is," she replied, leaving it at that. She hated the fact that she had not been there to help her that night, which was why she was working so hard to kill Missy's nightmare. She had heard about his younger brother going to the hospital, but that wasn't uncommon, there were more people who had relatives in the hospital than not nowadays.
She became nervous when he asked her about the ND. He didn't look like the guy who was in the group, but then again they were all disguised. "I, um, got it across town," she said, not exactly lying. The group's meeting place was across town, she just thought he would assume it was a store there. |
Keyosi saw the girl get nervous. "Oh really now? Well my sister has one just like it, and she got it from across town also. It's really cool. It has these features on it that no phone has." He walked around to the other side of the girl, looking at his actual phone for any messages from his sister. She still hadn't returned, and the school day was coming to a close. If they were late getting home, they would surely be in trouble.

California was surprised at his statement. 'Does he recognize what this is?' she thought, taking a second to look at it. He didn't say that he had one, but his sister. She then remembered the night before when Shadow had said her brother made the NDs. She moved quickly to try and test this theory. She hit a series of buttons to make it start beeping rapidly. "Oh, no. How do I make it stop? Do you know how it works?" she asked as she frantically tried to stop the noise.

Keyosi gently took the ND out of the girl's hands. "Yes. As a matter of fact I do." He flipped the phone around and looked at every part of it carefully. It was the invention he had create. He pushed the number 3 button. "There." He handed the phone back to Cali. So you're one of the team. He little sister is the one in the bed next to Jaz.

California watched him as he fixed her phone. 'Not even service people could fix it that quickly, he has to be the one that made them,' she thought, looking up at him. Wow, thanks. So, I have an odd question; were you the one that made these?" she asked, dropping her voice so no one but them could hear the last part of her statement. It was a risk, asking him, but she had to know. She was tired of not having someone to talk to about the nightmare problem. Everyone else at school treated it like a game, none of them knew has bad it really was for those fighting the nightmares.

Keyosi slide down the lockers and onto the floor. "Yes I am." He thought he might as well sit there and wait for his sister to show up instead of leaving and going to look for her when she'll probably come through this hall anyways. "I have other inventions I'm working on."
Takayumi ran through the school looking for her brother. She didn't remember what class he had, and she didn't feel like getting a detention for skipping, then looking in every classroom. She finally spotted her brother at the other end of the hall with California. She quickly walked over to the two and sat down beside her brother. "I'm glad you didn't leave yet." |

California was in shock for a moment. She might have thought that Keyosi was the group's inventor, but a part of her didn't believe that she could have so easily run into him. "Wow, that's neat. What kind of things are you inventing?" she asked, sliding down to sit next to him. When Takayumi arrived, she smiled at the other girl. She had never had much contact with either of them at school and she felt a little awkward now knowing that she was also in the group fighting the nightmares.

Keyosi smiled, "Well I'm trying to create detectors that can detect these nightmares' puppetmaster, but sadly I don't have an DNA or thread of clothing from him that would work. He doesn't have a special signal like the nightmares he conjures up." He looked over at his sister. "Oh hello, Takayumi. Guess what I've discovered about Cali here."
Takayumi looked at the other girl. "She has a crush on you?" How am I supposed to guess what you are talking about? She slouched back with her head against the locker. She had more important things to worry about other than a crush someone has on her brother. How was she supposed to save her little brother and numerous other children? |
California understood some of what Keyosi was saying, messing with technology wasn't her strength, but if someone need her to bend metal, she could do that easily. She was taken aback when Takayumi thought Cali had a crush on Keyosi. She had barely noticed him like that, but after taking a second look at him she decided he was cute. "While that is none of your business, Shadow. Maybe other things are, such as defeating nightmares together," she replied, smiling at the girl. Cali was used to acting sweetly, she wasn't one to be rude to someone.

Takayumi's eyes widened as if she was a deer got in the headlights of a car. "How do you know that I'm Shadow?" She looked to her brother. "Did you tell her?"
Keyosi laughed at Takayumi's expression. "She guessed all on her own. Maybe if someone hadn't told them that her brother was their little inventor, she would have never guessed." |
California smiled at Takayumi's reaction to the news. "He has a point, you know. You did tell me, then again he also fixed the ND and no one else could fix it, right? None of the others in the group had an inventor brother," she told her, holding up her ND to show the other girl.

Takayumi sighed, "Indeed that is true. Well it's good to at least know the identity of someone from the team." The bell rang, and she knew that her brother and her had to leave. It was a shame after just finding out that Cali was one of them. She would have liked to talk to the girl more about the nightmares. It wouldn't seem weird seeing as both of their little siblings were in comas at the hospital, and they could talk about their superhero selves in the third person.
Keyosi stood up. "Well I guess we better get going. You know what dad said." He turned to face California. "It was nice talking to you. I'll see you around." He began walking down the hall, knowing that his sister would follow shortly after. |
California got up to leave as well. "Bye, see you later," she called down the hall. She turned to her locker and grabbed her book bag. She slung it over her shoulder and walked in the opposite direction of the siblings. She was in no mood to do much, so she went home. She grabbed some food from her fridge and turn on the TV. She watched the news as she ate, not that much had changed in the world, she just couldn't stand to watch other things when the real world was so bad. When she finished she laid down on the couch and closed her eyes for a nap.

Takayumi ran to catch up to her brother as numerous other students were heading home. She looked through one of the doorways of a classroom and out the windows. She noticed that it was getting quite dark out. "There's a storm a brewing," she said quitely to herself. If this storm continued into the night, the team would more than likely have a tougher time fighting and destroying nightmares.
