Pulling out her notebook and pen, Jinx starts writing the notes that the teacher was writing. She would glance up at the boy that she was looking at from time to time. She had to talk to him after class. Maybe she wasn't the only one having this weird dreams about that killer. Thinking about it just made her shudder. She wanted this dreams to end but she had no clue how. She would tell someone, like a doctor but she thinks that they might think that she's crazy. She really thinks the only person who would understand her is someone else who is also having those dreams. Because he did say something about 'You and 5 others will die....'.

John had his notebook open but he was concentrating on the schoolwork. Instead he was drawing and it wasn't just anything he was drawing. He was drawing the man from his nightmares. he was hopeing if he drew the guy then maybe he wouldn't be scared and the man wouldn't come to him in his dreams anymore. He was still curious about the girl that seemed to be having nightmares as well and wondered if she could possibly be dreaming about the same guy.

The teacher told Scarlett to go to the nurse so she left the classroom to go but then found herself wanting to leave the school. Something had scratched her and she wasn't about to stay here. She went to her locker and grabbed her bag and went outside the building, moving quickly so a teacher wouldn't see. She made her way across the street to the nearby park and sat down by the small duck pond. She looked at her reflection and wiped the blood off her face. "Am I going crazy?" She whispered to herself.

"Mr. Baron!" The teacher banged his fist beside Blake's head, shocking the boy awake. "Why don't you go see the principal?" Blake knew that question well. He sighed, grabbed his stuff, and walked out of the room. There were no jeering glances as he left, only sympathetic eyes.
That was a bad sign.

Jinx started to drift off again and she lays her head on her palm. About 3 minutes later she jumps up again and actually screams this time. Everyone would turn around and look at her "Miss Darkfur are you ok?" the teacher would ask "No sir..." she says running her fingers threw her hair "Can I go get some coffee?" he would nod "Just hurry up" she nods and takes his pass. She walked passed the boy and drops a note on his desk saying 'Meet me at the vending machines and 5 minutes'

Scarlett laid back in te grass of the park and looked up at the sky. "I just can't go to sleep anymore." She said, standing up. "Maybe I just need some coffee." She said, heading towards the school again since there was a small area where you could get coffee from the vending machines in the cafeteria. She noticed the boy she had seen earlier heading to the principals office. "Hey Blake, get in trouble?" She asked with a small smile, yawning a little and taking her money out of her bag to get a coffee.

Blake nodded solomnly. "Yeah. I fell asleep in class," he held his hand, which had long since started to ache. "The teacher was P.O'd." He grinned suddenly, "It was pretty funny. I thought he was going to hit me. Absurd, right?" The lack of sleep was affecting his moods, wasn't it? How else could he have such violent mood swings?
[{I am going outside, so I'll be back in about a half an hour. ><}]

Scarlett smirked. "Wanna get a coffee with me? I keep falling asleep as well.." She then pointed to the scratch on her face. "But when I woke up I had this, so I don't plan on sleeping for awhile." She said, brushing her hair out of her eyes. "Which teacher did you have?" She asked, wondering what class he had been in.

"Ya know? I don't even know his name. But I fell asleep, and I had been making a fist so hard that I bled, see?" He held up his palm, but the streaks of blood formed one word. 'DEAD' Blake smiled stupidly, because he hadn't seen it yet. "Weird, huh? And sure, I'll come." Poor, poor innocent Blake. Couldn't see that he was marked for death.

John read the note and then waited a couple minutes before getting the teacher's attention. "I need to go to the bathroom sir." The teacher looked at the boy, he had never had any trouble with this one. "Ok Mr Scott, but hurry back." John put his notebook in his pack and picked it up before walking out of the classroom and then hurrying to the vending machines. He was digging into his pocket for what little change he had, might as well get a coffee while he was there.

Jinx was leaning against a vending machine sipping a on cup of coffee. She had 2 different energy in her bag. Hopefully that would help stay awake. She looked up when she noticed the boy come around the corner. She would stand up and walk over to you. "Hey, I'm Jinx" she says brushing her hair out of her eyes. "We need to talk"

John looked over to her when he saw her at the vending machines. He then watched her walk over to him as he got himself a coffee. He had a feeling he knew what she wanted to talk about so he grabbed his folder from his pack and showed her the picture. "Your dreaming of him aren't you." His voice was quiet and he appeared a little shy when he talked to her.

Looking at the picture her eyes would widen slightly "You are too I'm guessing?" she says taking a sip of her coffee. She starts tapping her fingers against it looking at him. "I'm not even sure why this dreams started happening" she says walking out to the courtyard.

"Yeah, with me they started last night. At first I thought.... I saw my parents but when I moved closer, he appeared instead. I think he wants to kill me." He followed her as he drank his coffee. "This is weird. Two people shouldn't be dreaming about the same guy."

Scarlett looked at him wide eyed. "Blake.. that says Dead on it.." She said, taking his hand and showing him. " So you've been seeing the burnt man as well?" She asked softly, letting go of his hand. You could see that from all this she was really getting freaked. "My dreams started about two weeks ago.. and in each one he just keeps getting closer.." She said, looking at the ground. "But he had never scratched me before. But he did today.. so that must mean that if I fall asleep then he'll kill me?" She questioned, sort of to herself. She went over to the vending machine and got herself and Blake a coffee. She handed him one and couldn't help but over hear the other two people by the machine. "You two have been having the dreams too?" She asked, wondering how this was even possible.

"Wait it says- Dead?" His voice rose a couple octaves, his eyes widening in fear. "No!" But even as Blake stared at his hand, the undeniable proof, his breath hitched. "I can't- I mean, that's not right! All four of us dreaming of the same guy? We- We probably just saw the same movie, and it freaked us out. That's it." Blake broke out in a cold sweat, staring from each of the kids. Only one of them seemed familiar, but that was Scarlett. Being the new kid wasn't working well. "What movie have you seen? Maybe it was just some long forgotten movie that we can't think of, that has to be it. Help me here!"

John watched as the other two approached. "Yeah we have." Then shook his head at the other kids words. "I don't go to movies. I can't afford to so that's not the reason. There has to be something though. Why is this guy after us?"

Jinx would look up and look at the other 2 students "Well that makes 4...." she says biting her lip. Should this really be happening? Could 4 people really have the same dream about the same person? she thought to herself as she puts her hand on her arm. The marks were starting to burn and it was bugging the hell out of her. "Has...anyone of you woke up with scares?" she asked making sure she wasn't the only one.

John thought about it for a bit. "Y... yeah I did. On my leg I have a scar that wasn't there when I went to sleep but when I woke up it was. My brother said I probably just didn't notice it before."

"Today in history I woke up with this." She said, pointing on a long scar on her cheek that was still kind of bleeding. She looked towards Blake and patted his arm. "It's not a movie.." She said softly. "I don't really watch movies or tv because my family doesn't have one." She said, glancing at the other two. "So what are we supposed to do? Not let each other sleep?"

"B-But-" Blake stopped, slumping his shoulders. "Why us? Why not anyone else? We're too young to die!" He shook his head, at the girl with black hair's question, "I've only gotten scars from myself. I only had a bad nightmare and then I clenched my fist. That's all." His head whipped back and forth between the speakers, following them. He thought for a minute. "What'd you all dream about? Let's see if there're any similarities. Maybe if we figure that out we could avoid whatever is connecting our dreams to him." He was still trying to rule out the supernatural, but, as he was finding out, that may be impossible.

John showed them the pciture he had drawn of the man. "Him. before he showed up i saw my parents and when I went towards they they disappeared and he was there. My... parents wher ekilled six years ago and I thought maybe... he was the guy that killed them. Taht he came to kill me bacouse I could recognize him but as I drew him I realized he was someone different."

"I had a dream about the barn behind my home. And I was doing my usual farm chores when there was suddenly smoke everywhere and fire. Thats when I saw him..He just sorta stared at me for a few seconds while I was screaming and he was on the complete opposite side of the barn and never got closer. But in every dream he says something to me. In the barn dream he said 'Now you know how I felt' And the next day I woke up smelling like smoke. And now he keeps saying he's going to kill me." She said, then looked back at Blake. "You couldn't have possibly scratched Dead into your hand." She said, frowning a little.

"Yeah, because it's so likely that a guy-a stinking murderer at that- is targeting us kids." Blake shook his head, starting to pace. He was trying to fool himself into misreading the facts, to tilt the scale and squint his eyes just right, so it wouldn't be true. But it was true. He couldn't have scratched DEAD into his palm, Scarlett couldn't have sliced open her face, and for the other two he didn't know. "What do we do?" He asked finally, almost whimpering.

"Well I'm not going to let him get me. I'll stay awake, drink pleanty of coffee if I have to. We have to stay awake. he can only get us if we sleep."
