Rovna shook his head. "I do not know, Xandith did not allow us to go outside for fear we would be seen." he took her hand. "Come, we shall look for one, he has alot of land i've seen from the windows. There must be a garden somewhere." he pulled her toward the door but stopped once he reached it. "You go first." he said timidly.

Seth laughed and strode his horse directly next to Ace's. "I was probably seven...I was in the forest reading to my dog Sparrow, Xandith had been hunting. I didn't realize i was on his property. I guess he sat there listening to me read for a good hour or so." he closed his eyes momentarily as if remembering it. "He said he loved my voice, and picked me up. I was so entraced with him, he seemed like some prince from a fairytale. So i went with him." he chuckled under his breath. "Sparrow even got to come with me, xandith turned him into a dog puppet. so that he wouldn't die." after he walked in silence for awhile, he stopped in front of a busy tavern labeled 'The Rusty Goblet' he unmounted, and handed his horse to the stable boy, after waiting for ace to do the same he led him inside. "What do you drink? are you hungry?" he asked.

Scarlett opened the door and to her surprise there was a beautiful garden out back. It seemed to go on forever and looked like a maze. "Come on, no one will see us in the garden.." She said, leading him to the back after shutting the door. She could tell he was nervous so when they got in the maze of gardens she laced her fingers in his. "See? It's not so bad.." She said, her eyes looking everywhere. "It''s so beautiful.." She said, her eyes lighting up as she looked at the roses.

Ace dismounted and handed the horses reigns to the stable boy. "Eh, I drink anything and everything. I think i'm hungry for some chicken. But i'll know once I get in there.." He said, nodding slightly. "You'll have to read to me sometime.. though what happened to your parents? Didn't they worry about you?"

Rovna closed his eyes as she led him outside, but once he heard her voice he opened them. "I feel nothing." he said disappointingly. "Yes, i see the worlds beauty, but i can not feel the breeze on my skin.... nor smell the beauty of the earth." he sighed. "He took my humanity, and with it me happiness."

Seth shook his head. "I was an orphan." he sat down at one of the tables in the corner, so they could talk without being heard, the secrets of the mansion still had to remain secret even though xandith was dead. Otherwise the puppets surely would be killed. The waitress came over and asked them what they would like. Seth ordered some sort of whiskey, what better occasion then his masters death?

Scarlett frowned. It was true, she could feel nothing of what the outdoors had to give. "Just because you can't feel it doesn't mean it's not there.." She whispered. "You don't have to be unhappy. Just think of being immortal as a chance to have many lives to redo your mistakes." She said softly, heading back to the door. She was no longer in the mood to be outside. She looked at him sadly. "How I wish to be able to die.." She said softly. "its funny how all my life I feared death, never wanting it to come my way.. and now I yearn for it." She mumbled, slightly to herself. "Would you like to come back inside with me?"

Ace also ordered himself a whiskey, leaning back in his chair. "I feel bad for those puppets.. Never being able to feel anything the wonderful earth has to give them.." He said, looking at the menu. "I might as well of been an orphan. My parents were never around, then one day they just left.."

Rovna nodded and followed her inside. "I do not wish for death, i just wish i was able to sleep." he smiled. "I miss dreaming the most." he walked into the parlour and sat down. "Or to be able to eat, and drink. Not have this eternal hunger." he laughed. "What i wouldn't give for some chocolate."

Seth frowned. "Then they are stupid parents, to have given away something as wonderful as you." as he finished his sentance the waitress walked up, handing them their drinks, and on upon backing away Seth say her wink playfully at ace. "I guess your probably used to everyone fawning and doting on you." he smiled in referance to the ladies affection towards him. "I guess, i missed out on the whole romance thing, my nose is to stuck in books to be courting some....woman." he wrinkled his nose.

His comments made her smile. "Chocolate would be amazing!" She said, groaning since she now wanted some. She sat down next to him. "What I miss the most is swimming. I used to swim all the time, not i'll just float in the water if I try.."She said, then looked over at him. "And I also miss kisses. You know how they feel warm on your skin and make you feel the butterflies in your stomach?" She laughed a little. "Sorry for being a bit girly.. but that is one of the things I miss most. The butterflies.."

Ace let his eyes go over the woman. She looked a bit too desperate for his taste. "Yeah, I guess. But surprisingly I'm a virgin. Most women in this town don't appeal to me. Their either desperate, taken or annoying.

Suddenly, and without warning Rovna stood up and gathered her into his arms, he bent down a little and fully kissed her on the lips. After a few moments he backed away.

Seth laughed. "Well, it could be that we spend most of our time with women that are dead." he took a drink of his whiskey closing his eyes to savor the taste. He felt his stomach get warmer, And a slight blush cover his cheeks. "I don't like women anyhow. though i guess im expected to marry one." he took another drink.

Scarlett smiled a little. "I don't feel the butterflies.. But I know I would if I was alive." She said, putting her hand on her lips. It may not have been a warm kiss, but it had been a great one. She leaned in and kissed him, leaning her head back a little. "Thank you.. you kiss wonderfully, I bet you were even better when you were alive. But even dead your still a great kisser." She said, thinking she felt the butterflies despite being dead.

Ace nodded in agreement to him. "I like them, but not to marry unless their something special." He noticed Seth's blush. He patted his hand lightly.

"I don't know." Rovna shrugged. "That was my first kiss." he plopped back down into the sofa. "I didn't really know what i was doing."

Seth nodded. "I think it's xandiths fault i don't enjoy women." he'd finished his first glass and was now drinking a second one. "Jerk, he..." he turned away, and angry look in his eyes. "Ah, nevermind. And don't worry, we'll find you a woman."

Scarlett stared at him for a moment as if he was insane. "Your first kiss? But your a prince.. and your handsome.." She said, finding it hard to believe. "Well for a first kiss you did amazing." She said, looking to her hands after sitting back down next to him. "I figured being a prince you'd have women kissing you all the time, always wanting to throw themselves on you." She said, putting her hand on his.

Ace raised an eyebrow at him. "Tell me." He said, though by his look he could almost guess what Xandith had done. "I don't want one.." He said, rolling his eyes. "I like to be single. It means I can flirt with whoever without being tied down.."

Katalina looked down at her hand in the girl's. What is she doing? I'm not some sister of hers. She glared forward without replying. Indeed it was beautiful out, but she wasn't one for being touchy touchy. There was a time she would hold someone's hand, but that ended when her older brother died. She would have pulled her hand away, but she knew how it was to lose someone you love.

Hizumi glanced over at the girls with a smirk on his face. Glad it's not me. He looked out toward the trees as the leaves swayed gently in the breeze. If only he could feel that breeze again. He sat down in the grass with his legs crossed and his puppets still wiggling on his fingers. "Yes, it is beautiful," he murmured.

"It will be you soon enough." Azkabelle let go of Katalina's hand and glared at hizumi. "Unless you leave that is." she looked onward. "I'm tired of this." she scoffed before walking back inside. "You two should come in before someone spots you."

Rovna sighed. "I was actually quite sheltered, my mother and father rarely let me do anything. being royal did not mean i could do as i please." he looked down. "I did enjoy kissing you." he confessed.

Seth shook his head. "Nah, I'd rather not..." he then smiled. "Well, i didn't take you to be the flirtatious type." he chuckled as the waitress brought him another drink.

"Well.. you could kiss me again if you'd like. I don't mind your kisses, they make me feel warm inside even though I can never truly be warm.." She said, smiling a little and standing up. "Care to show me the house? I've only seen the attic and the stairs so far.." She laughed a little, putting out her hand for him.

"I guess you didn't observe me well enough then.." He chuckled. "I'm a huge flirt, sometimes I can't even help it.. it just sort of comes out." He grinned. He took a sip of his drink and then tilted his head back, finishing his glass. "One more for me please." He said to the waitress.

Rovna got up and took her hand, "you'll probably need a room, you can share with me if you like." he led her to a side room it was a white door, golden trimmed and Rovnas name was ingraved on it. "This is it." he shrugged. "there are two beds inside, and i can have the house tailor make you some more clothes." he said.

Seth ruffled his hair. "I would say, im drunk." he put some money on the table. "And i guess i'll be observing you more often then." he tried to stand but staggered. "Alright legs, lets go." he laughed at himself. "Are you ready?" he asked ace.

Katalina sighed in relief. She didn't know what the girl was so angry about, but she didn't care. She laid down in the grass with her arms behind her head and looked up at the sky.

Hizumi didn't care what got the girl's panties in a wedgy. He never liked the girl to begin with. She was the daughter of the master afterall. "Soon for what?" He asked himself. All he said was that it was beautiful out. The girl's just missing a few brain cells. He laughed at his joke. Known of them had brain cells.

Azkabelle shook her head, she'd read his mind. she hated when she answered peoples thoughts. "Forget it." she said disappearing into the house. "Katalina, master left something for you. I put it in your room for later." she called backwards.

"You'd share a room with me? How kind.." She said, gently opening the door to his room. It was a very nice room, so she nodded. "I'd like to share with you, if you don't mind.." She said, then smiled. "Theirs a tailor? Well new clothes would be lovely.." She said, running a hand threw her brown hair. She didn't dream, but she did sleep. She looked at Rovna, thankful that someone like him was in this house so she wouldn't be lonely.

"Yeah, I'm ready to go." He said, standing up and starting to follow him. "Drunk? After two? I only get drunk after about...7." He chuckled, heading out to the stable boy and getting their horses.

Rovna nodded. "Yes, she is a blind maid named Evangeline, but she makes wonderful clothes somehow." he shrugged it was a mystery to him how evangeline worked. She still hadn't returned from the supermarket so she was not aware of xandiths death, he wondered vaguely how she would take it. "I guess there's the kitchens and stuff...the ballroom."

Seth shook his head. "I think that waitress drugged me." he laughed and got onto his horse, leading the way back home. "It got dark." he said randomly as they trailed home. "Like, reaaally dark, is it always this dark at night?" he asked.

Evangeline walked through the backyard her arms full of groceries, blindly she tripped over katalina, falling into Hizumi. "OH!" the groceries went flying, and she fell on her face.

"May I see the ballroom?" She asked, thinking it would be nice if she danced with him.

Ace smirked. "Yes, it's always this dark at night.. would you like to ride with me and i'll tie your horse to mine?"

Evangeline walked through the backyard her arms full of groceries, blindly she tripped over katalina, falling into Hizumi. "OH!" the groceries went flying, and she fell on her face.

Katalina wondered what the master could have possibly left behind for her. She didn't like the master much. He used her to assist in his killings. Even though the blind maid didn't know it, he used Katalina to calm the girl down so he could kidnap her. Just then, that same maid tripped over her and went flying. Of course, she didnt' feel anything being dead and all.

Hizumi fell backward with a slight thud. He didn't know exactly what happened until he spotted the maid ling on him. "What the hell?!" He grabbed the girl by her shoulders as he pushed to girl off of him, so he could sit up. "What are you doing?!" He looked around the yard wondering where she had come from. Then he noticed the groceries laying everywhere. Knowing that the girl wouldn't be able to see any of it, he stood up and packed everything back in the bags before handing them to the girl without a word.

Rovna nodded, and trailed her into the ballroom. He drew the velveteen curtains letting in the light, diamond chandeliers made rainbows dance along the walls. "Perhaps someday we can all have a ball." he smiled slightly humming a tune.

Seth nodded. "Yesssss." sluggishly he got off his horse, indeed the maid had drugged him but he didn't really think she had. "Alright, lets do this." he said clumsily climbing atop ace's horse.


Evangeline held the groceries tightly in her arms, she recognized Hizumis voice. "I'm sorry." she apologized, her glazed eyes blinking frantically to keep from crying. "I didn't mean to."

Scarlett smiled. "Dance with me?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as she questioned him.

Ace tied the horse to his and then pulled Seth onto his horse, riding to the house. "We should probably get you to bed.."

Katalina stood up and walked over to the maid. "Here, let me help you. I was going in anyways to find out what was left in my room." She took the bags of groceries and walked through the doors and to the kitchen without bothering to wait for the girl.

Evangeline smiled, and used her hands as her guide to the kitchen. "I know what it is." she smiled, "I'll explain it to you." she bowed a little bit. "Once you open it, lets go to your room." she knew her way around now and didn't need to feel for the doorway.

Rovna sighed. "I'd rather watch you." he grinned taking her hand. "But sure." he pulled them into a waltz and elegantly began to sing a low italian tune.

Seth shook his head. "I'm not tired, but my head just hurts." he rubbed once of his temples and reached into his pocket for his glasses. "What do you think it's like to be a puppet?" he questioned.

She grinned a little, dancing with him to follow him steps. "Well.. I could dance for you once were done if your curious to see what Xandith said healed his heart for a few moments." She said softly, thinking of certain things the master had told her.

"Dance for me" He had said, always watching in the shadows of the attic. Never once did he try to dance with her, let alone move. He had just stood there as she danced her heart out to a few vetrola records he had given her with ballet music on them. Her favorite had been sleeping beauty. She had been quite good at it. Then once she was done dancing he would say a few words to her about how good she was and then leave the room for a week or so. Then when he came back the process was repeated. He had told her little things about his life. Not much though, just that he had a daughter. Then he'd ask her if she had any visions involving him lately. Which she never did.

Her eyes drifted back to Rovna when she shook her head to stop thinking about it and gave a small smile. "Your very good at dancing.."

"I believe its painful. Sure they cannot feel physical pain, but emotional is probably ten times worse for them because they can do nothing as good as humans can." He mumbled, frowning slightly. "I feel sorry for them.."
