"I love that we now have more in common" Jake reached over and kissed Crystal on the cheek.

crystal smiled at him.

"So, what do you feel like doing tonight?"

"lets take a break fromg oing out. i dont want to run into anything again of course we can both protect ourselves now so we might be safe" she said.

"Or we could stay in" Jake said with a smile. He put his hand on her lap.

"ok" she said.

(Fast forward)

Jake put his arm around Crystal, snuggling close.

Crystal smiled at him. "luv u" she said.

"Love you too" Jake kissed Crystal.

"how about we go see how my parents are doing" she said.

"Sure" Jake got up and got dressed.

she did the same.

Jake walked to the living room. Victor flew in through the window and shifted to human form.

"hey dad" crystal said.

"Hello everyone. I've just gotten back from a meeting with the vampire council about Jake"

"what did they say?" she asked.

"They fear that Jake may be a risk. Because he has the strentghs of both vampires and werewolves, he is a hot camodity. There are werewolves and vampires who would do anything to gain his powers"

"if they try to get him they will have to deal with me" she said.

"Crystal, I don't want you getting hurt" Jake said with concern.

"i don't care. if any vamps or wolves try to get you i will kkill them" she said.

Victor paused. He could sense something. Another lifeforce. He looked at Crystal.

"what is it dad?" she asked seeing him looking at her.

"Crystal, are you pregnant?" Victor asked.

"not that i know of" she said.

"I can sense the lifeforce of another inside you. Have you and Jake..." Victor stopped in mid-sentance, already knowing the answer.
