Raising his gaze from his hands Jatan looked over to Mitchell when he spoke. The guy was right they did need to get out of the plane. He was about to speak his agreement when Jenna started screaming. Spinning his head around he saw that Shell had touched her and that was it. He watched as Jenna fell and then that shimmery force shot from her hand, smacking into Shell causing her to fly through the air.

In a split second he was over by where Shell had landed. He moved so fast all you could see was a blur. "Whoa.." he mumbled then watched Shell stand up. Whatever was happening to all of them was totally freaking him out.

How on earth could a plane crash cause all of them to get all these powers, or whatever they were. This wasn't normal at all and the crash did add up either. The group needed to get out of the plane and talk. "I think we all should get off this plane and then we can try and sort this all out." Moving once more like a blur Jatan was by Jenna's side, to see if she was still knocked out. The amazing speed he had exhilarated him but also scared him.

As soon as Shell's hand left her skin Jenna started waking up. Groaning she opened her eyes to find herself laying on the ground. Moving her eyes she spotted Jatan. Then she spotted Shell and she stared at her for a second before looking away. Jenna knew that it probably wasn't the other girls fault. No one knew what there powers were or how to control them.

Seeing Jatan's hand reached out to her she grabbed it and let him pull her to her feet. "Well that was....interesting.." she said and looked to the ground. Jenna never ever wanted to go through that pain again. It was horrific. To say the least she was a tad bit afraid of Shell.

Rubbing the back of her neck she looked up and noticed Aurora was gone. "Hey where did Aurora go guys?" Frowning she walked over to the door and looked out to see if she had went outside. "Anyone see her go anywhere?"

Still flinching from the sudden burst of light and energy, it took a moment for Aurora to register that it had stopped. Straightening her back and looking about, she saw Shell on the ground, slowly getting up. Jatan darted to her in a blur, seemingly impressed with his amazing speed. She didn't blame him, she would be in awe too. She was in awe of her own powers, as well as the others'.

Making a silent realization face, mouthing 'ah', the brunette realized the reason nothing had happened to her when Shell touched her was because she was wearing gloves. Then again, she had seen her past. She guessed it was just because of the close contact when Aurora touched her, maybe blocking out Shell's painful touch. Or was that part of it, considering Aurora saw her broken past? The fresh out of high school girl couldn't decide. Shaking her head, she mentally reminded herself to be more observant, especially with everything that was happening now.

Aurora frowned as Jenna asked where she saw. "Right here," she said, clearly hearing her own voice. Looking down, she couldn't see her own limbs, just an empty space on the floor. Jaw dropping, she slowly flickered back, becoming visible. "Blimey," she muttered to herself, grinning at her new discovery.

Raising her gaze back up to the others, a coy smile pulling up her luscious pink lips. "Shall we leave," she askd nonchalantly, trying to make a check list of all of their powers.

Mitchell too was making a list in his head as he stood, the glow around him having faded but still leaving a soft after glow, like a halo or light around an angel. Shel had a body of steel it seemed, and a painful touch. Jenna was producing a powerful energy, and had teleported. Benny had super strength and could jump with powerful force. Aurora could turn invisible and see others' pasts. He himself had produced light and rejuvinating heat from his hands, as well as demonstrated telekinesis. For a second it made him wonder. What else could be hints of their powers? Mitchell had always been strong, being able to lift the most weight in the school, the star football player as well, but more than that, he rarely ever tired. He had intense endurance, so said his team mates and coaches. But that wasn't much. What about... other things? More than anything he could recall almost everything he'd ever read or seen. Would that mean anything?

"You both OK?" He reassured to the two females. Glancing at Benny, he laughed. "Yeah, you missed a lot," he said and chuckled again. At Aurora's question, he nodded and stepped to the entrance of the plane. "Wait, we should grab some bags and any useful supplies we can find," he suggested and easily tossed three humongous duffel bags over his soulders, muscles not even straining.

Hearing Aurora's voice made Jenna spin around. But she couldn't see her anywhere. She was certain she had heard the other girls voice though. Then Aurora flickered into place and Jenna smiled. "That's awesome!" She said with a small laugh.

All of them had some amazing powers. Jenna just hoped that by using them they weren't hurting themselves. But the only way to find that out was to use them and to be truthful, they were to cool not to use. She also wondered if they had anymore. She was going to have to experiment.

Jenna gave Mitchell a smile and nodded at his question. When Aurora asked if they should leave Jenna nodded and was about to exit when Mitchell made a good point. "You're totally right," she said then started walking back towards them. Wouldn't do any good to just leave everything in there. With their luck the plane would finally catch fire, burning everything in it.

Seeing a pile of bags she grabbed as many as she could carry. Then concentrating hard she teleported outside. Setting the bags down she popped back inside. "That was wicked!" Grinning Jenna looked around to see what else needed to be grabbed.

Watching Aurora flicker back into place made Jatan smile. Being invisible would be an awesome power. You could sneak in anywhere and do anything. He flashed her a small smile then leaned down and picked up some bags. When Jenna came back he laughed at her statement. Then in a blurred movement he ran outside, dumped the bags where she did and ran back inside. All was done in a matter of seconds.

"I think when were all done we need to experiment with our powers. See just how much we can do." It would be interesting to see what all each person could do. Test there limits.

[Woah Crimson, slow down, you keep jumping ahead of your turn in the posts xP give others a chance eh?]

While the others grabbed for supplies, Shell had decided to look for useful things. For one the medical kit, she needed to make sure everything was okay. Sure, she wasn't a trained professional, but if anyone did need some first aid, she was sure she could try to help at least. Though now she worried people would be afraid her hands would touch them.. But still she couldn't let that stop her if they needed aid.. However the thought of causing them pain made her want to distance herself.

It was a turnaround, to say the least, that she could cause pain and others could not harm her, so much so that she just wanted to separate herself out from the others, keep her distance, keep quiet, as she always did.. What was the point of being near if she couldn't even touch? At least without gloves..
She continued to search the cupboards and the cabin for anything else useful.. Well there was the emergency fire axe, that could actually come in handy, though the question was why on earth did they need such a thing on a plane..? The glass pan was already smashed so she simply yanked it out, resting it over her shoulder. They could probably get firewood with it if it got dark. She didn't think rescue of any kind would come within the same day if any at all did..

However even as she looked.. she couldn't find signs of any parachutes.. You'd think there would be at least a few.. Maybe it was just her imagination.. She looked over at Aurora for a moment, grimacing slightly.. She'd said she could read peoples pasts.. She frowned a bit, but then stood,
"Don't look at my past again.." She mentioned calmly, "It's not a pleasant place to be." she added. If Aurora had seen anything, she'd know this. The blond simply walked out with the axe and the kit, looking about at the jungle with a frown.
This was just perfect..

Benny clambered into the plane and grabbed a bunch of bags as well, he wasn't sure whose was whose, but he recognized his own, slinging it over his shoulder with a couple of others as well as holding a few in his other hand,
"Well dudes and dudettes, we should totally find some shelter, or we could even use a bit or two from the plane, y'know?" He mentioned, not realizing his regular eye color had become a little brighter, his canines gleaming quite healthily in his grin, though at that moment he then sniffed at the air and pulled a face that was more comical than scary,
"Oh man! Somethin' out there smells totally rank! Like.. Day old cheese left in the sun, dude! Foul..!"

"Huh, thanks," Aurora replied to Jenna, still in awe of her invisibility. Sighing, she picked up a few bags and tossed them gently out the door, making them land softly, well as softly as the heavy bags could, on top of the others. Walking to the back of the plane, she began to make her way forward, looking carefully for anything of importance. Her eyes met Jatan's and she blushed lightly and returned the smile.

Glancing up, the brunette eyed Shell. "Sorry, I'll try not to," she simply said. She wanted to say something hopeful, comforting to her. After all, she had seen her past. At least some of it. But she didn't know what to say, and she didn't want to make things worse than the already were.

The British teen stepped into the cock pit, seeing a shining gold piece on the floor. Bending down, she cocked her head sideways, eyeing it. In black, thin letters was written "MICHEALS". Reaching out her hand, she gently touched it's smooth surface. Gasping, images flashed through her mind like a movie in fast forward. Pulling her hand away, she roughly recalled what she had seen. It was fake, not a real name tag. The pilot knew that, the flight attendants knew that. The pilot had jumped out of the plane. Was this intentional? Gulping, she tucked it into her back pocket.

Standing back up, her long legs carried her back out. She nodded at Jatan's statement, they did need to figure out the true extent of their powers. Her brow furrowed at Benny's statement, but she laughed at his candid expression. Sniffing in, a small frown tugged at her lips. "Ewww. At least it's not too strong," she said softly. "Should we try to make it to a beach front maybe? A passing plane may be able to see us from there?"

The small work distracted Mitchell for a second, letting his racing brain finally take a rest. Sighing, he wiped his hands off on his pant legs and glanced at the others. Ever since the plan had begun to crash, he had had a gut wrenching, make you sick to your stomach feeling about all of it. He figured the others were wondering but they could talk about it later.

"If only I had a camera," the curly haired, tall malle said with a laugh as he looked at Benny's expression. "I smell it too. But Aurora's right, it's not too strong. What is it?" He wondered aloud and swiveled his head around, trying to find the source of the smell.

The smile on his face slowly faded, the sinking feeling slowly returning. "Yeah, if a plane would even pass here. We're in the middle of freakin' nowhere for God's sake," Mitchell said a bit angrily, the situation setting his nerves on end. As he looked at Aurora, he saw brief hurt on her face and her eyes down cast.

"I'm sorry, just a little on edge," he apologized and gave her a smile. The brunette smiled back and nodded in acceptance to his apology.

"We all are," Aurora replied, trying not to take his statement to heart.

Silent Jenna stood by the door and watched everyone pick out supplies. She couldn't believe what had all happened. It didn't feel like an accident to her, it felt more like a set up. Jenna had been zoning out when she heard someone walking by her. When she realized that it was Shell she tensed up. She hated her reaction because she knew it hadn't been the other girls fault, but she couldn't help it.

When the other girl went outside Jenna let out a silent sigh. Hearing Aurora ask if they should head to the beach front made her nod. Water, water was her friend. If she was by it then she would be ok.

After her and Mitchell were done talking she spoke up. "I agree with Aurora. I think that would be our best bet." Even if they didn't want to go Jenna still would. She was use to the beach, it was her home.

Seeing Aurora's blush made Jatan smile even more, he just couldn't help himself. She was beautiful and her blush just emphasized her beauty. He stood where he was as she went into the cock pit. Hearing Benny say they should find shelter Jatan nodded in agreement.

They all had so much to do before nightfall. There was getting shelter, food, water, and making a fire. That would be easy now at least. He picked up one more bag and went over to the door where Jenna was still standing. Jatan heard them all talking about going to the beach and he saw possibility there. They wouldn't have to worry about any animals there and he said as much. "The beach might be a good idea. We wouldn't have to worry about any animals that way be lurking around out here."

"Okay dudes, babes," he made a click with his tongue and pointed in the general direction of the females, "We gotta plan, hit the beach, set up camp. But we gotta find a high up place near it, on some rocks or a cliff-face, if the surf comes on in, lets just say it'll be a total wipe out.. All our stuff's gonna get primo-washed, know what I'm sayin'?" He grinned, carrying on along. He knew about this stuff because he hung out near beaches, it wasn't exactly much of a surprise for a Californian to think of these things, but it was already clearly evident that he had experience with that kind of stuff.
The tanned guy carried on quiet happily, perhaps a bit too cheerily, but then it was probably his coping mechanism, he was too easy going to let this bother him too much, okay so he didn't exactly know they'd been outright abandoned, this would probably strike a few chords short of irritating him, but otherwise he seemed at ease about it all.

Shell on the other hand was walking with the others, but at a distance, perhaps a little ahead of them as she mostly looked at the ground, the blond boy made sense at least, he didn't appear to be a plain old idiot lady charmer, but still.. He didn't realize the situation for what it was. Hell if some of them didn't have the powers that they had they might even have died.. She certainly would have been bleeding profusely with the beating she took and if she hadn't survive that she wouldn't have been able to patch up Aurora or try to help the other two.
Jenna would be alright at the least, her head wound was probably just a smaller cut, but Jatan and Aurora may have had infected limbs.

That Californians legs.. If he didn't have his super strength that he was displaying, he'd probably not have been able to move, more likely lost his legs and bled out int he process if he hadn't already cracked his skull wide open and bled out Right there. She couldn't actually smell anything.. Was that another of his powers? Enhanced senses..? They'd have to give it a bit more time until she could tell for sure, but so far everyone had displayed a variety of gifts, his just weren't as apparent it seemed..

She looked about at the jungle for a moment.. If they had any luck about it, there would be a bounty of food available in the forestry. If anyone could go searching without thread of animals mauling or hurting her, it was Shell.. She could forage without a care in the world. At the same time she could look for some herbs, certain plant-life she recognized as medicine.
"Hey, surfer," She stated blandly to Benny, he looked right around with a beaming smile,
"Benny!"
"Whatever.. If you lot can set up shelter using the plane parts Benny here brings along, our human fire-cracker can weld it together into a more solid unit. I know I said not to use our abilities, but it might be all that's keeping us alive out here, so we have to learn to focus and use them all with great care." Shell stated, looking back at Jatan mostly, but she then changed her focus to the others, "Sound okay? We can probably come up with a few simple exercises to get a more natural feel for whatever this is.. Its not exactly a controlled environment, but if anyone does come to rescue us, we need to make sure we can control ourselves completely."

"So what'll you do, babe?"
"First I'll slap you with a bare hand if you call me that again." Shell retorted sharply, Benny grinning and backing off a little,
"Alright, alright, sorry."
"Good. I can forage. Nothing can hurt me, I guess, so I've got nothing to worry about in the jungle." Shell stated simply, "It'll keep me away from you lot, where I can't do harm. Until I can learn to turn it off, if at all. Till then, find me some gloves and I can do first aid if we need it."

Aurora zoned out a bit as she walked, bare hands going to her neck to check for her silver locket. It wasn't there. It wasn't there! In her mind the brunette began to freak out, even more than she already was. This really set her off, making her shake a bit. She stopped walking, watching the others go ahead.

Running, she caught up with Shell, her long legs quickly carrying her to the blonde. "Be careful. And thank you," she said to her, smiling softly. She didn't want the girl to feel unappreciated, or for her to feel bad about having hurt Jenna. They knew she didn't mean to. The others were still ahead of her, and she glanced at them, biting her bottom lip as she mentally debated what to do.

"Guys, do what Shell says. I have to go get something, I'll be right back. Just leave marks on a few trees so I know where to go," she shouted so they all could hear her soprano voice. Before anyone could question her, she took back off in direction of the plane. The bags she had been carrying were dropped as the young girl ran, and she glanced back at the others, sending Jatan another small smile before turning her head back around.

In a matter of a few minutes she was back in the plane, eyes frantically searching for the shining piece of silver which had been around her neck. She threw discarded items out of her path, nerves on end as her green eyes roamed around the plane.

"There!"
She said to herself and ran towards the back, trying to reach the necklace which was somehow thrown on top of a sideways seat, wedged between it and the wall, now ceiling, of the plane. Though she was tall, especially for a girl, she couldn't quite reach it. Standing on a dislodged seat, her fingers just grazed the necklace, but couldn't grab it. Her finger tips touched the ceiling as she strained to pull the necklace out.

In an instant, Aurora was experiencing flashes from having touched the plane. They were distant, as if fading and not too clear. Like a person walking through fog. Gulping, she tried to focus, beginning to lose balance on the seat. She saw quick images of a government file, more files with their names on it, and some weird stamp at the top of all of them. They were followed by images of men and women in suits, putting the files into a box marked with large, red letters, but she could only see "ext", and the rest were blocked by someone in the way.

Pulling her hand away, the girl tumbled off of the seat, catching herself on a flight attendant's cart. Gulping, she began to tear up from the sight. This made her more determined than ever, and she climbed back on the seat, stretching a leg out to the hanging, but secure, seat on the ceiling where her necklace was. Hoisting herself up, her dangling right foot pointed as if dancing, the dancer and former gymnast stretched her body and her finger tips finally locked around the precious necklace.

"Yeah, you guys are right," Mitchell finally said in agreement, still offering an apologetic smile to Aurora. Multiple bags were flung over his shoulders, making it seem like they weighed only a few ounces. Football helped he guess, as well as other sports he often did.

"We need to look for a fresh water source. I snagged a few emergency jugs from the kitchen area, but it won't last," he said and stared around, trying to listen for signs of running water from a waterfall or fresh water river. He ran a hand idly through his brown curls and grimaced.

Vaguely listening to Benny's and Shell's conversation, Mitchell snickered at Shell's feisty reply to him having called her babe. "Need help?" He asked Shell, not wanting any of them to be alone. He had seen horror movies and if this was even remotely like every slasher film he'd ever seen, it wasn't a good idea to split up.

Too late, he thought as he watched Aurora dart off back to the plane. He had a feeling she wouldn't be stopped and looked at the other's, shrugging. How would they leave a mark for her?? Bits of fabric on trees? Yeah, that might work. He hoped she'd be OK, but figured she'd only be gone a few minutes.

Jumping out onto the ground Jenna walked over to the bags and picked up as many as she could carry. The rest she left for Jatan to grab. After shifting the bags around so they were comfortable to carry she walked over by Mitchell. When he said water she couldn't help but feel thirsty. Hearing Aurora she looked up and watched her run off.

Frowning Jenna leaned up against a tree. She didn't like that they were separating, it would be better if they stuck together. As she waited for everyone to figure out what to do Jenna started doing circles in the air with her index finger. When she was thinking hard or bored she tended to do something with her fingers.

Staring at her finger she just watched it make circle after circle. After a few moments of doing the motion Jenna started to see drops of water. They started to form into a thick rope of water, that followed her finger. Soon there was a circle of water following her finger motions.

Clearing her throat she spoke up, still looking at her finger and the water she created. "Um guys? I think I fixed our water problem!" Concentrating Jenna made more water, so that the circle of water got bigger and bigger. "Am I hallucinating or is this really happening?" She squeaked out.

Grabbing up the rest of the bags Jatan followed after everyone. When Shell told them they needed to control there powers and she looked at him Jatan could help but look down. She was completely right and he was going to try his hardest. Frowning Jatan looked up to see Aurora smile at him then take off. He didn't like her splitting off from the group. They at least needed to partner up.

It was a vast jungle and anything could be in it. He looked to the group and paused. Jenna was making water out of thin air. Jatan could help but chuckle lightly. So there was a fire maker and a water maker. Well at least they had the basics covered.

Shaking his head he glanced back towards the direction of the plane. "I'll go find Aurora. I think we should at least double up if were going off somewhere. No use in being alone. Mark the tree's somehow. I'll figure it out!" With that he turned around, picked up the bags Aurora had been carrying and started walking back to the plane. He could have ran there but he was suppose to be controlling his powers. After a few minutes he was there. Aurora!" He shouted out. "It's Jatan, are you in the plane?" Setting down all the bags he climbed up to the door and entered.

Shell looked over at Jenna for a moment before frowning a little, she rested the knuckles of the hand that held the medical kit on her hip as she stopped and turned toward the younger female as she was producing the water with her hand. Yet another capability.. A useful one she'd admit but still to assume that she'd solved the problem right away was still very foolish, that water could have any number of unknown properties, she shook her head,
"Don't jump to any conclusions, whether it is actually drinkable is unknown. For all we know it could cause us irreparable harm." She lectured simply. She didn't like being the voice of logic, logic was unfriendly at times and horribly good at putting the spirit down, but she simply carried on walking, though looked back in the direction of where Aurora had gone, a little worried..
Shell had defended her quite adamantly.. But now she feared she would hrm Aurora, or perhaps had even upset her a little by warning her off.. Shell had difficulty connecting to others, the scars on her back were visible proof that she had reason to not want to. She didn't blame others for her past, but she was more afraid of other people than she wanted to admit out loud.

She came to a halt when the blonde young man dropped the half dozen bags he carried to look back at Jenna before he grinned. The kind of grin some-one would try not to pull when they were planning something, it was there for but a moment before he pulled straight face and bounded back towards Jenna, standing before her and even waving to her once,
"Well hows about this, babe?" He winked at Jenna, "I'll take a sip and see what happens, cool?" He asked, however had already cupped his hands and lifted them up through the ring, drawing it up. Of course the water was fine, Shell was being cautious,

"By all means." The blonde woman retorted, watching him recklessly take a gulp full, a rather cruel corner of her mind hoped he would start ch-Wait..
The Californian had drunk what he could from his hands, paused but then grabbed his throat, bending over suddenly and letting out several grunts and gasps as though he was choking, this carried on for about five seconds before he stood straight like a shot and grinned,
"Totally refreshing, babe!" He put his thumb up to Jenna, chuckled and scampered away for fear of the pain he was about to reap for his extremely awful joke.

"Idiot.." Shell muttered to herself, rolling her eyes and carrying on forward.

((Alright! Order can be Crimson, HC, and musik. ABC order right there! :D And sure, go ahead and ask around! A survivor could wake up in the plane when the others are gone and the others didn't see/find them or something of the such.))

Teetering on the edge of the dislodged seat she was using as a stool to get her necklace, Aurora yanked with her hand, trying to wedge out the silver locket from between the other seat and wall. It seemed stuck, almost glued in place. Sighing and making an exaspereated groan, she tugged again and nearly fell, putting out her arms like a surfer would when catching a big wave.

Slamming her fist against the wall in frustration, she nearly fell off the seat, hearing someone come closer to the plane, ignoring it, the flexible girl stretched, making her long legs strain. At last the seat released her prized necklace from its clutches, making Aurora wonder how it had gotten there in the first place. "Wicked," she said to herself, attempting but failing to put it back around her neck.

Upon hearing Jatan's voice, the brunette grinned and did a victory dance from getting her locket back. "Yeah, in..." Aurora began to yell back, but trailed off as she jumped down, a hand hitting the stewardess's cart. Her mind blanked and images began moving at warp speed. She saw their files spread out, their pictures easily visible. "They all have it," boomed a deep voice, making the girl clutch her head. "Have what," she mumbled, still watching as a man stamped the files. Again she couldn't see the stamp, but a feeling of dread dawned on her. "They must be... dealt with." The voice resonated in her mind and she grimaced visibly, left hand still holding the necklace and gripping her throbbing cranium.

Cocking his head to the side, Mitchell watched the circle of water, raising an eyebrow. He couldn't help but let out a laugh as Benny pretended to choke, obviously faking, but making Shell stop and wonder for a minute. He covered his mouth with his hand, trying to stiffle the laughter escaping from his lips.

"Sorry," he said as Shell cast them a dark look, rolling her eyes and walking onward. He stuck his tongue out as he leaned towards the water, catching some in his mouth. He winked at Jenna and swallowed the clear water, as fresh as any natural waterfall or spring.

"How are we supposed to mark the trees?" He began to ask, but rolled his wrists, popping them, and with a quick mental thought, his hands glowed again. Hovering his hand about six inches from the trunk of a tree, Mitchell focused and the glowing intensified, light shining out around them. In an instant there was a perfect circle burned through the tree, making Mitchell puff up in pride.

Amazed at what she was doing Jenna couldn't stop staring at the water. She could not believe that she had produced water from nowhere. Hearing Shell's statement caused her to look up at the girl. Jenna was slightly hurt from her words and she quickly looked away, back to her water.

Hearing someone walk towards her Jenna looked up once more and frowned. Benny was walking towards her with a unusual grin on his face. Then his face went serious as he stopped in front of her. Raising an eyebrow when he called her babe Jenna watched as he cupped his hands and took some of the water. Biting her lip she watched as he drank the water. She was praying that nothing happened and it was ok to drink or she would hate herself.

Holding her breath she watched as he swallowed. When he started chocking and grabbing his throat she gasped and tears sprung up in her eyes. Oh god I killed him! she thought to herself. Then he suddenly stood up and gave her a thumbs up.

Sputtering in shock Jenna's eyes widened. "You..you..jerk! That was a horrible thing to do!" She yelled at him. Jenna couldn't believe the joke he just played on her. She stuck her tongue out at him. Then looked down quickly when she saw Mitchell leaning in. She watched him drink some of the water and smiled when he winked at her. Closing her fist the water fell and hit the ground.

Pushing off the tree Jenna stood up straight and looked at Benny. "I'll forgive you if you never do something like that to me again." She gave him a small smile, already forgiving him. Now that she was over the shock of it she saw the humor in his joke.

Jatan had just entered the plane as Aurora did her little dance. Smiling he watched her jump down then freeze in place, cutting herself off in mid sentence. Concerned he rushed over to her. He got to her side just as she clenched her head. "Aurora are you ok? What hapened?" Sticking his hand out he almost touched her but at the last second he pulled back, remembering that she saw stuff when she touched someone. He wasn't sure what to do so he just stood there and waited.

"Like, cross my heart and hope to totally wipe out, babe." Benny responded, still snickering away afterwards as he hauled the bags over his shoulders. Nope, Benny couldn't take anything seriously at all.. He walked with a bounce in his step, obviously quite filled up on his happy meter. And he would, inevitably, play another cruel trick or two on some-one, sooner or later, or at least a joke on Jenna, she seemed to be going through a lot with this too, so he didn't want to make her feel unwelcome, frankly, after that little incident with Shell he was surprised Jenna wasn't breaking down entirely.
This was all a lot of hurt to put on one girl, he'd make it up to her somehow later, in some amusing way, for sure, but something just to lift her spirits up. The way things were going, everyone would need it. So why not? Life couldn't get him down so he'd keep them all smiling as long as he could, or at least he would try to.

Shell, meanwhile looked ahead.. They'd gotten a fair distance from the beach but the trail of the plane to the edge of the island at least made a straight path that could be followed with some degree of ease. And the surfer boy was right, somewhere high up off the shore would be a lot more sensible.. Heck she was surprised his suggestion had been that sensible.. She, meanwhile, just wanted to drop off the medical box then go gather some fire wood.
She didn't consider herself much of a leader, but she still wanted to take care of the others, in her less-than-friendly manner, sure, but she still knew that she had to care for them. If she had to guess, she was the eldest here, so call it a matter of age over all else, she had to watch over them.. And Aurora too.. The beautiful young woman..
She bit her lip and looked back towards the plane again, but then shook her head and continued.
No time to think like that.. No, there were more important things right now..

Groaning, Aurora let her hand fall from the side of the cart and she staggered sideways, still gripping her head. She breathed in through gritted teeth, opening her green eyes and blinking at Jatan. It took a moment for her to realize he was really beside her and not just another vision or her hallucinating.

"Something's wrong. I mean, about the crash. It wasn't accident," she whispered, voice hoarse and strained. Her fingers clenched around her necklace and she straightened, having been hunched over as she leaned against a side wall, which was really the floor of the plane. She looked over Jatan, her eyes watering a bit and she bit her lip, still trying to catch her breath.

"Whoa, take it easy, Jenna," Mitchell said to her and jumped back as the water hit the ground and splashed up. Catching some in his hand, he splashed it on her and nudged her playfully. He watched as she calmed down and saw the humor in it. His baby blue eyes sparkled from the sudden laughter, twinkling in the sunlight peeking through the leaves of the tall trees.

His eyes swiveled left and he peered at Shell, walking ahead and deep in thought. He continued down their makeshift path and he noticed the ground get steeper, harder. "We're sloping up. I think we're getting to the top of the island. There's probably a cliff nearby," he yelled out the two ahead of him. Glancing back, the plane was out of sight and for a brief moment he worried about the pair still back there, hoping nothing unfortunate had befallen them.

((That's ok mine was itty bitty....))

Hearing Benny's promise made Jenna snort softly. Then getting splashed and nudged playfully by Mitchell made the red head laugh. She looked up and saw that his eyes were twinkling in the sunlight. Smiling at him she couldn't help but be mesmerized by his eyes, they really popped in the sun.

Clearing her throat she started walking behind Mitchell. Shifting her bags again so they were even she trudged up the slope. Hopefully they would find a place to set up camp soon. Jenna didn't want to be stuck in the jungle when it started to get dark. That didn't seem fun to her at all. She also really wanted to go for a swim to calm her nerves. Though she was putting on a good face, inside she was scared and hurt. In the back of her mind she could still remember the pain that Shell's touch caused her.

When Aurora staggered Jatan almost gripped her arms to steady her, but stopped again. He didn't want to make things worse for her by showing her images of his past. Frowning at what she said Jatan chewed on the inside of his lip. "What did you see? Do you want to sit down for a minute?" He asked quietly and motioned to a chair.

Aurora's words made sense to him. The plane crash didn't feel like an accident, what with all the workers missing. It felt like they crashed them on purpose. But the question was why and why them. Did it have anything to do with their powers?

[Sorry it took so long to get a response in, having various problems at the moment and a number of rps to focus on]

Benny looked up the slope and took in a deep breath, then sighed, okay, so he had some kind of super strength, right? getting up this hill would be a breeze. He remembered the days of track and field where he was usually one of the best kids on the field, but perhaps his failing back then was that he always seemed too lazy to care. Now it was a more important matter, but still a bit of fun on his part. He thus began to sprint up along the sloped path.
Hell even as he was running he didn't feel all that tired, in fact it was actually quite exhilarating. The more he ran the more alive he seemed to feel, senses filled with the smells, the sounds of his footsteps, the distant growls and chatter of animals and birds.

He couldn't quite peg why, but he felt so ALIVE. He felt at home in this place, like he belonged on such a strange terrain. But that didn't make sense, he was used to the easy life, the good life back home in California. video games, fast food, his buddies.
Yet out here he felt.. Awakened.. And it was absolutely great..
He stopped at the summit, staring out across the ocean and let out a sort of howl, victory was his, he'd climbed to the top and he could still feel the adrenaline surging through him. so much that he was beginning to noticed it a little too much. This was where things were starting to feel very wrong.

It was getting.. painful.. He dropped to his knees, feeling his body.. His ones shifting.. not too much, but they were changing, just enough that his physical movements could change along with them and he lowered, arched back, hands on the ground in claw-like fashion, grunting and straining. His muscles shifted and his head hurt. He let out a shout of pain as the bones set into place. They didn't make him larger or smaller, but they had become much more flexible at the joints, demonstrated by the very awkward and low fashion in which he was bent.

Shell could see these strange movements and, for a moment, considered he was just playing a trick, but then again, there was no-one up there to joke around with. Immediately she dropped the medical kit and the axe, making her own sprint up the cliffside so she could see what was happening.
Upon arrival, however, the young man looked up, and howled with pain, the sun..! Way too bright! He raised his hands to cover his eyes and flipped over quickly, keeping crouched over and balled up and yelling in pain.
Shell reached out to touch him but then froze, she could see the markings on her hands beginning to appear again, this made her retract suddenly.

Gloves..! I need gloves..! She thought desperately to herself, then looked at the dropped bags. No time to think, yet again, she began tearing them open, searching through each one quickly and desperately. Wait.. If he was covering his eyes due to light sensitivity.. AW HELL! All these kids were packed for a holiday why would any one of them have a pair of fucking gloves!? She stopped on a pair of sunglasses and it clicked in her head.. SUNGLASSES! CHRIST! The first pair was much to small for a guy, obviously a girls. She thus looked through a bag that screamed male with the military camo-style it had.
Yes! Perfect! She grabbed the sunglasses from the bag and tossed it over to Benny,
"Hey surfer boy! Grab those and put them on!" She ordered.

Benny reached a hand out, scrambling desperately for the sunglasses and pulled them on. He kind of wished he'd been wearing his own but this would do for now. His eyes still burned, tears streaming out of them but the shade of the glasses was keeping it dark enough for him to retain focus at last,
"Thanks b-.." He froze, yeah he remembered that threat from before, "Shell.. I mean, like, totally, thanks."

Nodding, Aurora fell into the chair, blinking her eyes and biting her bottom lip. She finally looked back up at Jatan and took deep breaths, trying to calm her racing heart. "There's these files. About us. And they have this stamp on them, but I can never see it," she said quickly, head in her hands and frustrated that even though she had seen the stamp twice, she could never make it out.

Leaning against the chair, Aurora closed her eyes and thought for a moment. She calmed her breathing, it finally returning to a slow and even pace. "They... The government I guess, I don't... wanted us gone. Someone wanted us dead. We're not supposed to be alive right now. We have something and they want us dead because of it. I don't know if its our powers, or something else." She finished her summary, standing back up and putting on a fake, peaceful facade. It had to be the powers, it had to be. But she hadn't seen enough to be sure.

The booming voice still rang in her ears and mind as she faced Jatan. "I'm fine," she lied in her British accent, trying to reassure him. On the inside she was a jumbled mess, still trying to sort the pieces. She let the necklace fall, catching on her finger and hanging. "Can you put this on for me?" She asked, having not been able to clasp the two ends of the silver locket together. She let it fall into his hands, turning her back to him and sweeping up her long brown and turning her head a bit, just able to see him out of the corner of her forest green eyes.

Mitchell had let his thoughts slow, happy from having spotted the edge of the cliff. His toned calves easily adjusted and carried him up the slope, but he decreased his speed to walk beside Jenna, wondering if she was OK. Were any of them really OK? He guessed not, but they'd act the part until they broke.

Jumping, the curly haired football player was frightened by the howl turned into painful shouts and screams. Dropping his bags, he ran ahead as fast as he could, reaching Benny just as Shell handed him the glasses. "Shit man, what happened?" He asked, concern and curiosity blanketing his face. At least one of them hadn't fallen off the edge of the cliff, or something like that.

He had grabbed Shell's axe in case something had happened, like there was a wild animal attacking one of them, but he gently set it back down as he saw everything was alright, at least sort of. He crouched by Benny, cocking his head. The light from Mitchell's hands had rejuvinated him, but he didn't know if it would work on the other male, or anyone else for that matter. "I'm going to try something," he said quietly, hovering his left hand over the male. The force of the light made Mitchell, flinch, and watched as rays of light flowed down into Benny, seemingly going inside him. Hoping for the best, he thought he saw pain ease from Benny's expression, but he wasn't quite sure.

((Bleck...such a horrid post...sorry guys!))

Blinking Jatan stared at Aurora for a second. Files? On all of them, now that was just weird. Then as she continued he was completely stunned. So the 'accident' wasn't so much an accident. "They wanted to kill us? It has to be our powers. What else could it be?" Jatan watched her stand straight and concern washed over him. He knew she was putting on a brave face.

"If you say so," he told her and smiled softly. Catching the necklace he unclasped it and brought it around in front of her. After weaving it through her arms he clasped it shut and let it fall against her skin. He could help but notice her watching him out of the corner of her eye. His light green eyes twinkled as he smiled and took a step back.

Seeing Mitchell slow down to walk by her Jenna looked up and gave him a smile. Blushing softly she looked back down at the ground so she didn't loose her footing. Hearing Benny's screams made her gasp and stop walking. His screams were so loud and filled with pain. It made her remember Shell's touch even more and Jenna began to shake. Everything just sort of hit her at once and her legs gave out.

Sitting on her butt Jenna brought her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. She felt bad for not running up to check on Benny but she just couldn't move. On it's own accord her energy formed a bubble around her. It's shimmery surface shined in the sun. Jenna didn't even notice it form around her, she was staring at the ground.

In her mind she was going through everything that had happened in the last few hours. Getting hit in the head and being knocked out. Waking up to a crashed plane. A crashed plane! Finding out she had powers and then being in immense pain from Shell's touch. She was stuck on the last one. Jenna never wanted to go through that ever again.

Benoit looked up slowly as Mitchell made his way up, eyes still half-focused. When Mitchell started producing light from his hands, however, Benoit fell back, covering his eyes again with a shout of pain, it wasn't a matter of physical pain doing him in so much anymore, it was the burning of his eyes, and having the human flashlight start lighting him up wasn't exactly his idea of of helping.
Before Benny could say anything, Shell had gotten over to them and used the back of her hand to knock Mitchell's away, he wouldn't feel pain, just as she though, though she had half a mind to use her open palm instead,
"Would you stop that?! He's experiencing photo-sensitivity, you're going to blind him!" She chastised him, frowning, perhaps annoyed, "It doesn't take a genius to see his eyes are hurting, he doesn't need even more light shining in his face." Shell added, wanting to call him a complete idiot. Only an idiot man could have come up with such a stupid idea as trying to use light to help some-one who was currently sensitive to it. Honestly she didn't know exactly what he was trying to do, but he wasn't helping, that seemed clear enough.

The woman turned on her heel and placed her hand sunder Benny's arms, guiding him away from the open cliff-side to the nearby brush where she situated him under some large plant-leaves,
"Relax here until you can focus again. I don't want to assume anything, but maybe if you take some time to get used to the light you'll be able to see normally again."

Shell then looked toward Mitchell, resting her hand on her hip and frowning,
"Look, I didn't mean to shout at you, but next time try to grasp the situation before you try any.. Bright idea's..?"

"Oh dude.. That's totally worse than one of my jokes.." Benny chuckled from under the shade.

"I don't know," the words were a sad, heavy sigh from Aurora. "I don't even know how they would know we have the powers. I figured it was something out of the comics, radiation from the plane making us superheroes or something," she said, words heavily accented. At times she could control her accent, but at times like this she didn't care.

Letting her long locks fall back, she turned and smiled at Jatan, left hand twisting the silver heart locket. "Thanks," she said. She wanted to touch his shoulder, comfort him, something, but didn't know if she should. Just by looking at Jenna she could tell her past, and touching made it even stronger. Aurora had since figured out that if she blocked it, she didn't have to see a person's past when looking at them.

However a part of her was hesitant to touch Jatan, she didn't know if he would be freaked out that she'd pry through his memories, so instead she let her hands fall to her side, tucking into her back pockets of her denim shorts. "Should we catch up with the others?"

Jumping back, the light ceased as if turned off by a light switch. Mitchell felt his anger boil from being yelled at like a child. "And how was I supposed to know that?! Earlier, the light seemed to help and heal me, I was trying to ease his pain," Mitchell returned the shout.

Sighing in frustration, Mitchell watched Shell drag him away. He wanted to yell out, insult her, point out how she couldn't be much help either because of her painful hands. It had already frightened the hell out of Jenna, maybe even scarred her. When Shell turned back, Mitchell's lips were pulled in a frown, anger in his bright blue eyes. He shrugged off her apology, still a tad angered. However the terrible pun made him half smile.

Shrugging his big shoulders in a kind of accepting way, Mitchell turned his back to her. "I'm going to check on Jenna!" He called and stepped away, noting she hadn't followed them. His jaw dropped in awe when he reached her, a bubble forming around her. "Jenna! Jen!" He shouted, trying to get her attention from outside her force field and not knowing if she could hear him.

Her words were hard to understand and he had to really listen. "Hey will figure it out," Jatan replied after a moment. He gave her a smile back and nodded. "Your welcome." There was so much they all needed to figure out. What if the people, whoever they were, decided to come check to see if they all died? What would they do then and how were they suppose to get off this island.

Watching Aurora as he thought he saw her brief hesitation before she tucked her hands into her back pockets. "I don't mind if you see my past Aurora. If you want to test your limits or try and learn how to control what you see, just ask. I'll be your willing subject." He gave her a grin and stepped back. "Come on, they shouldn't have gotten far."

Still staring at the ground Jenna was softly humming to herself. It was a song her mother use to sing to her when she was little. Humming it had always calmed her down. Instead of thinking about the crash and all the other stuff Jenna was picturing her home and her family. Slowly she started to calm down.

Hearing Mitchell yell her name Jenna frowned and looked up. "Whoa!" She froze and stared at the shimmery force field surrounding her. Taking a deep breath she concentrated and the energy sucked back into her. Unwrapping her arms from around her knees she stuck them out and stared at them. "Well that was weird," she said and took off the bags that were still hanging on her.

Slowly she got to her feet and shyly looked at Mitchell. "Um..sorry about that. Just had a wee break down, needed time to calm myself." She gave him a small smile and then brushed her pants off.

Shell had returned to the bags after Mitchell left, kneeling down by them to start repacking them, neatly, diligently, like something she'd practiced to perfection.. There were things you never forgot, old habits that couldn't be broken when you almost were. Trying to do everything perfectly, find all the flaws so some-one wouldn't hurt you next time, sometimes it was all that could keep you sane..
It was while she was more in her right mind that she came across a pair of fine gloves.. Odd, she hadn't though anyone would bring anything like this at all, but they'd certainly do. the material was brown, like tanned skin, but s he could still feel things through them, maybe this would at least let her make some contact again..

She found it an odd concept to fear bringing pain to others.. She'd never believed she could so such, never wanting to harm people, just wanting to be left alone.. But then the best way to defend yourself is to be untouchable.. Were these powers a manifestation of peoples pasts..? She didn't really think it likely, it probably wasn't, if she looked at it on a medical level, it was just genetics, evolution..
But it gave them an unfair advantage over mundane humans.. An advantage that people would fear.. In fact Shell had already frightened Jenna, which meant if she could be frightened, anyone could be..

She made her way over to Benny and sat with him below the leaves, gloves firmly taut over her fingers and hands,
"How are they now?" She asked simply,
"Well.. They're still burnin' a little," He replied, trying to open his eyes some, things did seem better, being int he shade let him see better one more,

"Take off the shades, let me have a look." Shell instructed. Benny was a little hesitant to do so, but so far Shell had been acting responsibly, in an attempt to help the others, he did as told. Shell leaned in closer, using her hands to lift the eyelids a little while she inspected his eyes. They'd turned a brighter yellow, the pupils slitted and wide, like cats eyes, but when exposed to the light they got thinner and Benny trembled a little, the light was getting to him,
"You're reacting to the light.. You need to focus.. Perhaps you can turn it off like how the others can activate their abilities.. Concentrate, try to get used to the light again, look down for a while if you have to."

Benny grimaced a little and lowered his head, the ground wasn't as bright at least, so that did help. In some ways it was like walking into a bright room after waking up in the dark, except it hurt so much more.. It was while he was focusing he noticed something odd. Shells body seemed to be emitting a vague orange aura, red nearer the center and pale orange further out, it twisted and turned like the heat mirage on a pavement. He didn't quite get it, but as he focused it began to vanish. The vast brightness of the surrounding world getting darker, or rather more normal, until he looked up again.
His normal eye color was back, although the whites of his eyes were now a little red from being sore.

"There, you did it,"
"Bogus.. How did you know that would work..?" Benny asked and Shell raised her brow,
"Who said I knew it would? I'm as surprised as you." She smirked and got up form under the leaves, "Go wash your eyes, I think our Water Sprite can probably help with that." Shell added, she was referring to Jenna of course, but Benny got the idea and got up, making his way down the path again and rubbing his eyes a little as he went, they definitely still hurt, but it was good to be able to see again.
